A/N: Concludes the first of the two film reviews, Avengers: Infinity War, during the six-part story arc before the other starting in Part IV with Avengers: Endgame, which will mark as the 50th Episode special albeit it being part of the season finale arc as well as leading up to 100 chapters after the end of the second season. Ends the first act of the six-part arc as the next chapter will start the second half.

Team RWBY's Commentary of Avengers: Infinity War (Part 3 - Final)

After entering the castle where Baiken lives to rest for the night before their big adventure they'll be going on the next day, team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken were settling in with the others, and soon after a relaxing soothing bath at the hot springs in the back of the palace during the evening, the group (excluding Rachel and Anri as they were getting sushi ready by Baiken's favorable request) goes to the second floor upstairs from the castle's living quarters on the first floor, where they gather at the center tatami room on the same second floor where they slept at the washitsu rooms, which also has the training room that had been mentioned earlier.
There, team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken told everyone about what Jack-O' said to them about Justice, The Black Cocoon, and the dire journey that lies ahead.
"Justice? She's behind this?!", Maki Oze, Maka Albarn and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa all said questioningly while looking worried.
Natsume, Ann, Miria and Celty ask, "The Black Cocoon? An island of beasts and insects?!"
"A gateway to another realm? That's where our friends are in?!", Eureka, Saika and Alice said, the latter three looking at each other.
Blake and Weiss nod, "That's what she told us. And she had agreed that we would bring her with us so she can help. Guaranteeing she will not turn her back on us or pledge any more allegiance to Justice."
"We're leaving to the uncharted island to save our friends, first thing in the morning.", Yang planned.
Ruby sorted, "That way we can do that, destroy the island, defeat Justice and call it a week. It is almost the end of our social event, so at least we'll be ending it with a bang.", before asking everyone including her three teammates Yang, Blake and Weiss, "All in favor?"
"Aye.", everyone else said.
"All oppose?"
"Nay."
"I thought so.", figured the leader of team RWBY, "Anyways, now that the recap by Jack-O' is put out of the way, does anyone have anything to say before our big quest tomorrow?"
Alice rose her hand, "Oh, I've got something to say. After we witnessed our friends turn to dust before our eyes, we doubted they'd be lost forever and waiting for a moment, a moment to seize, a glory to cherish. But now we discovered that the events have been shadowed by the malicious gear golem that waits within The Black Cocoon. She must really like to put the gen in genocide, huh?"
"Well, it hurts to say that the future is at stake, Alice.", Ruby excused.
The blonde integrity knight said, "Our friends are at stake, our worlds are at stake, the whole universe is at stake!"
"We will not let Justice destroy our worlds.", promised the leader of team RWBY.
"I know we will succeed, that's my point!"
"Exactly, that's why we have to do everything we can to prevent it and stop her!"
"What I'm trying to get across is fuck Justice! Fuck her!"
"Yes, fuck her!"
"FUCK HER!"
"FUCK HER!"
Ibuki gasped nervously during Ruby and Alice's conversation, "WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!"
Ruby and Alice stopped arguing as they, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume, Baiken, Saika and the others all look at Ibuki.
"Sorry," blushed Ibuki as she rubbed her bare feet together in embarassment.
Ruby stayed silent for a few moments before saying, "Right! Now, what shall Justice's punishment be, once we save the day?"
Silence ensues, as none of the others within the group answer.
"C'mon, c'mon. Has nobody got any ideas?", Yang wondered.
Cameron insists, "Well, ah guess I have an idea-"
"Wait!", interrupted Ruby, "I have an idea!"
The Scottish gen:LOCK recruit silently groaned and asked, "Oh, really? What is it?"
"The idea...that I have in mind...requires...", hesitated the red-black-haired huntress.
The blonde hacker lectured, "Justice..."
"...Justice...to...enter the realm of everlasting...?"
"...being disassembled..."
Ruby says, "...being di- Being disassembled!", while Alice crossing her arms at the moment, "And her tyranny will be stopped, for...fo-fo-fo-for?"
"Forever!", Cameron told her.
Ruby solved, "Forever! Justice's tyranny will be stopped forever!"
"Good reason.", Alice plausibly nodded, sincerely and seriously.
Cameron said with her Scottish accent, "It was my script, but then again, Ruby insisted it was her script too. She's not a dolton or anything."
"That could happen, since not even a jail cell would hold her.", mentioned Yang.
Ruby said to Cammie, "Just wanted to bring a good laugh."
"I know you were trying to.", understood the Scottish gen:LOCK recruit.
Baiken suggested, "Any one else want to share any strategies?"
"I suggest we go head on tomorrow. A full frontal assault on Justice by all of us, I know it because I can orchestrate this.", Miria shared her plan.
Maka drastically said, "No, Miria, we have to be prepared for tomorrow. Or else Justice will kill us all! Team RWBY and the others can lead!"
"We can do this, Maka. I've seen the Oscar-winning Patton over a hundred times!"
"No!"
"Please?"
"No!"
"Please!"
"No!"
"Please!?", the immortal blonde girl Miria pleaded.
The two-star meister Maka declined, "No, that idea is too risky. Desperate times call for desperate measures.", turning to face Celty, "Anything else, Celty?"
"I suppose we should head deeper into the depths of the Black Cocoon. Maybe there's a path that could lead us to the gateway.", predicted the motorcycle helmet-wearing girl.
Cameron agreed, "Yeah, I think Justice wouldnae suspect us if we all do that."
"We thought the same thing.", Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss all said in unison.
Celty confessed, "But...to be honest... I've been thinking about my friend Mika. Even though she's vanished at the moment, I can still sense her. I can feel her, calling out for help. Calling us to the rescue. I... I think she needs me...as much as I need her."
"So, what are you? Lovers or something?", Eureka curiously said, "We've noticed you've been both together lately."
The motorcycle helmet-wearing girl excused, "No, but we're close. Like really close."
"Well, for the rest of our friends, they all pretty much need us.", Ruby discussed, her elder sister Yang nodding in agreement.
Baiken reminded, "The sushi is almost ready."
"Oh, good! I love some squid.", Blake craved.
Weiss noted, "Not to mention the onigiri."
"Once we settle for the night, we'll head off in the morning, because it's only a matter of time so no flat chat when the time comes.", considered Natsume while speaking with her Australian accent.
Ann smiled, "A bit of R and R can't hurt."
"I'm so happy we can eat sushi again.", Miria anticipated.
Yume tells her friends, "Unfortunately we haven't been here before all because of the sweepstakes raffle."
"And so far, this place really is not only beautiful or entertaining, but also authentic to the Edo period. You guys werenae kidding when you claimed this was indeed a paradise.", contemplated Cameron MacCloud.
Athena happily stated, "It is."
"Thank you.", respected Baiken.
As team RWBY listened on to the others as they talked before their dinner was coming, Ruby says, "While that's going on, why don't we continue with our Infinity War review?", asking this to Yang, Blake and Weiss.
"I think so, sis.", Yang nods.
Blake and Weiss agreed, "Let's pick up where we left off.", as Ruby turns on her Scroll to continue the movie.
"Rogers and the others arrive at Wakanda, where they meet up with King T'Challa, also known as the Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman.", Ruby continued before halting and saying, "But let us take a moment to say that we're aware of what happened to Boseman months ago. He had struggled with colon cancer and when we had the news of his passing, we were all sad to see him go."
"He has delivered fantastic performances not only from films in the MCU, but also movies that were actually spectacular, like Get on Up, 42, Marshall...and in 2020 this year, he has not only one but two awards-worthy performances that shines brightly, those films including Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Da 5 Bloods.", Yang respectfully acknowledges.
Blake also makes her response, "So I'm pretty sure they will honor his memory and legacy not only by possibly winning a ton of awards for the awards season, maybe even an Oscar, but by remembering him as one of the most famous African-American actors in history as well as the one and only Black Panther."
"And there's something we have to say to Boseman if he's watching over us.", tearfully told Weiss as she, Ruby, Yang and Blake rose their fists and crossed their arms by making the Black Panther gesture, "Wakanda...forever.", crying tears of joy by this remark.
Afterwards, the leader of team RWBY resumes the review, "So T'Challa...", breaking down in sadness a bit while trying to hold tears, "You will be missed...", continued, "...and Okoye, played by The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira, meet up with Steve, Natasha and the others before they also reunite with Bucky Barnes, played by Sebastian Stan, who has been given a new arm after losing it in Civil War.", before seeing the excerpt of Steve asking Bucky how is he feeling as the latter said it was not bad for the end of the world.
"I'm ready for this. Either by alien invasion or disastrous events like Greenland, we will survive!", imitated the elder sister of Ruby Rose with her Bucky impression, summarizing next, "The plans to extract the Mind Stone from Vision is being set in stone as T'Challa's sister Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, is preparing the procedure.", also seeing the snippet of the alien dropships landing outside of Wakanda, "Whoa, I guess they weren't kidding when it looked like the Greenland comet disaster movie."
The Faunus huntress synopsizes, "While the battle preparations in Wakanda are going on, Thor and Rocket in the meantime help fix Nidavellir in order to make his weapon.", as the four girls saw Bruce back in Wakanda use the Hulkbuster armor before the battle, "Oh my goodness, Bruce wearing the Hulkbuster is brilliant, but...wouldn't it have been fun to see the Hulk himself in that armor? That'd be totally badass! But alas, we won't see Hulk come anytime soon in this film, so that's unfortunate.", just when they saw another part of the film with T'Challa, who is with Steve and Natasha, telling Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian (who has a new arm after getting his chopped off earlier) that they're in Wakanda and Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood.
"Chadwick... You go, man. Again, Wakanda forever.", the Schnee heiress praised when the girls see this part, crossing their arms with the Black Panther gesture again with her three other teammates Ruby, Yang and Blake, abstracting thereafter, "Proxima unleashes...", reacting to the Outriders as they exit out of the dropships and into the battlefield, "...Xenomorph dogs with Goro arms...", then saying, "...the heroes prepare for battle.", while the next excerpt has T'Challa making his yibambe chant with the other Wakandans, causing team RWBY to praise again, "YOU GO!"
The red-black-haired huntress outlines, "Rogers, T'Challa and the others battle the aliens while Thor restarts Nidavellir's star to forge the weapon while Groot helps create a handle for it. Hell yeah, another weapon fit for a god!", before discussing, "And we must let you know, what comes is the most memorable scene in the movie!"
In the next scene, the Bifrost Bridge suddenly appeared in the battlefield as an axe swung across and killing some Outriders, making Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss amazed; as Thor, Groot and Rocket came into the scene, the four girls looked excited and cheerful when this happened, Thor yelled out in the movie "BRING ME THANOS!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!", shouted Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss in happiness and excitement as they saw Thor jump and smash his weapon onto the ground with a lightning-charged smash, killing many Outriders.
Ruby slams her hands on the tatami floor, "Fucking amazing. This is the highlight of the movie right here! Thor arriving to battle with Rocket and Groot, the Deus Ex Machina, the music by Alan Silvestri, the way Thor arrived in the nick of time, this setup ended up being perfect. People went crazy when this came onscreen, and even many claim this to be the best moment in the movie. This might as well be the best Thor scene in the entire franchise! Thank goodness it's about time the God of Thunder makes his greatest due and it striked like lightning!"
Suddenly, the shoji doors to the tatami room opened as Anri and Rachel arrived with several huge platters of sushi, getting team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume, Baiken and the others' attention. The sushi consisted of squid, maki, temaki, sashimi, nagiri, uramaki, salmon, eel, california rolls, tuna and others.
"Okay, guys. Dinner's here.", Anri and Rachel reminded.
Ruby and Athena impressed, "Wow! Already? It's about time!", also saying, "You did a great job making them, Anri and Rachel!"
"Not my first rodeo. Did it here and there, and that's about it.", answers Anri Sonohara, smiling happily.
Rachel also said, "I've practiced it many times throughout the years.", noting her past experience in preparing sushi occassionally as she had been an immortal.
"This is the first time I ate sushi in a while.", told Cameron to Yume, "It is honestly delicious."
Yume delighted, "I know, right? I love it!"
"The sushi here is fresh, neatly prepared and ultimately savoury. Either have it with spicy mayo, soy sauce, or either way on what side you have with it, it's tasty!", proved Yang.
Baiken simply nodded and respectfully said to everyone casually, "Let's dig in, everyone.", as she, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume and the rest begin to have dinner with the platters of sushi placed on the tables on the middle of the tatami floor for everyone to enjoy.
After dinner at 9:30 PM, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken all strolled together around the castle's second and third floors while the others went back to the hot springs for one more soak before they go rest for the night.
"Man, that was an amazing dinner. I almost got stuffed from eating so much savoury sushi! I love it when there's complimentary food!", Ruby praised.
Yang agreed, "Yes, sis. Really enjoyed it since we're going off on our quest tomorrow."
"So, what was it that ye wanted to show us, Baiken?", Cameron asked.
Baiken told her friends, "Since we're heading off into the uncharted island of Kuroi Mayu, also known as the Black Cocoon, I have some weapons and armor in the training room. Precious armory."
"Armory? Wait, are you telling us-", Athena and Yume question.
The pink-haired samurai said, "On this island of samurai and ninjas, and since team RWBY has their huntress weapons, it wouldn't be complete without sets of armor and weapons to go along with it.", before opening the shoji door to the training room.
The other seven were then surprised, as the training room not only had a lot of space in the center of the room for training, but also lies eight sets of samurai armor across the room from them, which had chest dou armor, kusazuri, sode, kote and haidate, complete with kabuto helmets and menpo (men-yoroi) facial armor.
The colors on the armor sets included red, yellow, purple, blue, orange, green, burgundy and pink.
"Nice rainbow colors. But AWESOME!", Ruby critiqued happily, "We would look so amazing wearing this in battle! Dibs on the red one!", as she and the other seven but Baiken go over to look and examine the samurai armor sets.
Baiken smiled and said, "I wore the pink one during my battles in the past, just to let you know. We will use them during our journey tomorrow."
"I bet we'd look freakin' amazing. Bet we can share this on social media like Twitter or something like a vlog, but it's best to not let it get to our heads.", Athena considers.
Cameron imagined, "I'm a gen:LOCK recruit from the Anvil known for piloting mechs with consciousnesses...and I'm grateful to meet a wonderful and powerful samurai lord who leads her own kingdom on a fantastic authentic island that looks like the Edo period.", looking over to Baiken and smiling, before rushing over to her and pulling her in a fondingly tight embrace, "Thank you, Baiken!"
Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena and Yume followed suit as Baiken smiled back, embracing them as well.
"The eight of us should have a team codename, since we've noticed recently that we've been spending time together. What do you guys think?", Ruby suggested.
Yang said, "Maybe our team name shouldn't be a lot of letters added together. I think RWBY is enough. But my best guess could be Huntresses?"
"Remnants?", Blake tried to think of a good name, "No, I don't think that'll work since that's the name of our world..."
Weiss corrected her girlfriend, "Maybe Snowflakes or Beacon Warriors? I'm trying as fast and simple as I can..."
The red-black-haired huntress wondered, "Any suggestions-
"Maybe Samurai, since the eight of us will be using the sets of armor and the fact that we're like a group of samurai with an unbreakable bond of honor and loyalty?", Baiken thought.
Ruby replied, "Maybe so, but-"
"I think Unstoppables could fit, I don't know.", Athena asked, trying to come up with a codename.
The leader of team RWBY tries to say, "Well-"
"Why can't Legends be a fitting name-", said Yume.
Ruby decided, "Alright!", causing the other seven to stop talking for a moment, "I think I came up with one.", before she queried the others, "How about...Critiques? Sure we can be huntresses, sure we can be unstoppables, sure we can be remnants, and sure we can be samurai... But despite reviewing being a subsidiary hobby outside of our huntress occupations for the four of us in Beacon, we have shared a common interest in it between the eight of us and everyone else who did it for free time and whenever they feel like it, but I feel we also share a strong connection for all of us, that we are warriors inside us all and proving that we will remain victorious, regardless of immortality or not. That is why we are stronger together...that is why we're critical together...and that is why together...we are Critiques!"
Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken happily cheer to Ruby's inspirational speech as the eight of them held hands.
Ruby's sister Yang said to her, "Critiques it is."
"But anyways, if we don't like it, then we choose Criticals as our group name. But it's definitely not meant to be a knock off! There's a difference! Immortality for one of our members being one of those reasons!", Ruby told.
Blake and Weiss understood, "We know. It's definitely just something inspired by the Avengers.", also saying, "Or now that you mention it, maybe Criticals can fit as our group name as well, either way."
"Oh! That reminds me! We better finish off Infinity War before doing Endgame during our adventure. I know it may not feel necessary to multitask during dangerous journeys, but we can do this! We'll do destroy that Black Cocoon, save our friends, bring justice to Justice, and seize the day once and for all!", realized the red-black-haired huntress, "Mind if we go to your woman cave where the games and movies are?"
Baiken nods, "Sure thing."
"Oh boy, we can't wait to see what this mancave will be like, or in this case, woman cave.", Cameron anticipates.
Reaching Baiken's bedroom once again by 9:40 PM, Cameron and Yume were surprised by the luxurious Alaskan King-sized bed and the authentic paintings of ancient Japanese samurai the room had.
The scottish gen:LOCK recruit gasps in amazement, "Oh my goodness, a large bed? Japanese samurai paintings? AND a flatscreen 4K TV?! How can you afford all this stuff?"
"I'm a samurai lord, and plus I have many riches for safekeeping. I already told this to team RWBY while you two and Eureka were over at Niagara a few days ago.", explained the Japanese female samurai, before she kicked her boot-like sandals off and reveals her large bare feet, "Feel free to take your shoes off."
Cameron complimented yet again as she, Yume, team RWBY and Athena proceeded to remove their shoes and socks, "I haven't noticed by now that your feet looks so big, Baiken. My own feet are smaller than yours, unfortunately. Appreciatively speaking, of course.", while Yume wiggled her toes happily after taking her shoes off.
"Thanks.", said Baiken.
Athena asked, "Anyways, let's have some fun."
"This is where things get better.", Ruby excites as she, Yang, Blake, Weiss and Athena enter the curtain on the right side of where the TV is, as Cameron, Yume and Baiken follow.
Once again, they're both astonished by the other room which was more longer and vaster than the bedroom, having the same various movie posters displayed throughout the room, with the same 4K/3D TV and 4K/3D player with consoles hooked up, along with the same sectional couch from last time they spent time in the room. Both MacCloud and Yume look over to the collection of movies, games and shows on the shelves with movies on Blu-Ray, 4K, 3D Blu-Ray, DVD and VHS, as well as games for the Nintendo systems from N64 to the Switch and the Sony systems from Playstation 1 through 4, and the old 50-inch TV used for playing the N64 and PS1 along with the VHS player. There were also books and manga collections as well, which all of this had amazed the two.
The pink-eyed samurai said, "Behold. My luxurious entertainment room."
"Whoa...", they said as they walked over to the anime collection, Cameron asking, "Baiken... You own...a copy of gen:LOCK's first season? On Blu-Ray?"
Yume amazed, "And you even have the complete series of Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash...on Blu-Ray AND as well as the manga series?"
"Yeah, this room even have Ace Attorney games here. We're all self-aware of our shows and games.", excuses Athena, "I'm an attorney and game reviewer, so I can also tell whether a game is good or bad."
Baiken satisfyingly said, "Glad you guys are enjoying this room very much. This is where me and my friends hang out. If only Inori would be here to see this."
"And we'll rescue her, for sure.", confided Cameron.
The red-black-haired huntress resumed, "So let's gather along as we cap off the rest of Infinity War.", as the other four gather on the sectional couch as the four members of team RWBY continued reviewing while setting the movie up on Disney+ instead of on their Scroll.
"Back on Titan, Thanos arrives as he has a conversation with Doctor Strange.", the blonde huntress then said the following scene of the film while Thanos presumes that Maw had died, causing Yang to mimick Strange, "Actually it was Iron Man and Spider-Man's doing since the kid saw James Cameron's Aliens.", just before they also saw Thanos use the Reality Stone on his Gauntlet to simulate what Titan looked like before it was destroyed and ravaged while the Mad Titan claimed the people of his homeworld called him a madman of his evil goals, "First off, the visual effects again really do shine here with the environment of the planet Titan. And secondly, when Thanos said his people called him a madman, that's another crossed off the meme list."
The black-haired huntress nods with a smile, "Good job, movie. Amazingly good job.", and then responds to the next part where Thanos tells him that once his plan is complete, he would finally rest and watch the sunrise on a grateful universe, "Okay, we know that sounds like a retirement goal, but... We want you to remember that he said this, because this statement is fulfillled later into the film. We'll get to that, but let's move on.", describing, "Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians ambush Thanos and they begin to fight him.", observing the snippet of Spider-Man battling Thanos with the help of Doctor Strange before he was grabbed and throttled to the ground as the Mad Titan said 'Insect!'.
"Tobey and Andrew won't save you now! Until the next Spider-Man movie, who knows?", mocked the white-haired huntress mimicking Thanos, resuming, "Nebula also arrives after escaping the Sanctuary II ship and joins the battle, resulting in the heroes successfully defeating Thanos. But this moment doesn't last long as Nebula spills the beans to Quill about Gamora's death, having killed her in exchange of the Soul Stone. This leads...to the most controversial part of the movie."
Ruby answered as Quill angrily asked Thanos if he killed Gamora as he confirmed, causing him to enragingly knock Thanos and breaking free of his trance by Mantis who had been stabilizing him, giving him a second wind in fighting the heroes, "Yep, this was the part that most people hated. Star-Lord ruining everything, as this was presumed to be the one of 14,000,605 futures where they were victorious. Look, I know it was due to the power of love, but...shouldn't you have taken a few more moments to allow the Avengers to remove the Gauntlet, or take the Infinity Stones? Just a little more time would've been nice!", while the following excerpt shows Thanos using the Power Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet to pull a moon, crashing it onto Titan.
"Okay, we have to admit, that part was awesome. The visual effects are so good- No wonder disaster movies like Armageddon are getting referenced.", confessed Yang, "The battle in Wakanda continues as we do get to see some great moments with the characters like Bucky teaming up with Rocket, Thor complimenting Cap's beard, and Scarlet Witch helping Black Widow and Okoye; but Vision is ambushed by Corvius Glaive while Scarlet is ambushed by Proxima Midnight.", said scene playing as Proxima then sees Natasha and Okoye confront her, ensuing in a three-against-one female battle, "Aw, yeah! Now that's the girl power fight scene we've been waiting for! Three female Avengers fighting the only female member of the Black Order, that's fucking badass!"
Blake cheered, "Even Wanda manages to finish Proxima off! Girls rule!", continuing, "Hulk fights and kills Cull Obsidian, while Cap fends off Corvius and allows Vision to kill him.", while she and the other three girls watch Cap tell Vision that he told him to go as the latter tells him that they doesn't trade lives, responding, "In terms of the Soul Stone, it's proven otherwise.", outlining again, "Back on Titan, Strange fights Thanos in the most badass Doctor Strange fight ever.", as they saw Strange use the Mirror Dimension to trap Thanos but shatters it and uses a black hole against Strange but uses a spell to turn it into butterflies before conjuring countless clones of himself to attack the Mad Titan, all the while as team RWBY were impressed by this while Blake reacted; "Sun would be so impressed by this!", referring about his Semblance.
"I mean, seriously. This is top-tier Doctor Strange right here. This shows why and how he is the Master of the Mystic Arts. I bet the Ancient One would be impressed by his skills right here!", praised Weiss as they saw Tony confront Thanos as the latter recognizes him and excuses that he isn't the only one cursed with knowledge, "I bet they'd be like, 'You saw me nuking the Chitauri ship, didn't you?' 'I've heard.' 'Alright, we're gonna do this or what?'"
The leader of team RWBY imitates as Thanos was hit in the face by Tony, causing a small bloody wound on his face in which he looks at his blood and asked 'All that for a drop of blood?', "I was expecting a pint of blood at this point.", as the next excerpt shows Thanos ripping Stark's Iron Man blade weapon and stabs him with it, "Thanos stabs Stark, as Strange makes a deal with the devil to spare Tony's life, sacrificing the Time Stone in the process.", acknowledging, "Yeah, I know people had been shocked seeing Tony get injured and all, maybe even confused on why Strange had to do this, but...why go all this way to sacrificing one of the key elements to prevent Thanos from succeeding and spare an important character to the story? Surely Stark's time to go isn't there yet, but hell, as long as you fucking explain the purpose of it, Strange!", just as the the following snippet has Thanos adding the Time Stone to his gauntlet before Star-Lord tries to get to him yet the Mad Titan escapes via Space Stone portal again, "They must be like, 'YOU KILLED GAMORAAAA!' 'Off to snap. Bye!'"
As Tony then asked Strange why he sacrificed the Time Stone, and when the latter said 'We're in the endgame now.', team RWBY imagined Peter Griffin from Family Guy saying, 'Ah! Ah, he said it! He said it!'.
"Thor drives Thanos' forces away back in the Wakandan battlefield, as Cap and the others see Thanos arrive at the scene. This is where they really show why Thanos is the biggest, baddest and most intimidating Marvel villain to date.", said the elder sister of Ruby Rose, "The way Thanos walks over to claim the Mind Stone from Vision, how Cap and the other Avengers do everything in their power to stop him, and how he easily takes them out with the five stones on his Infinity Gauntlet. You can feel the tension and intimidation with the feeling of how unbeatable Thanos was. And I've never seen how they've been taken down that easily. Holy fucking shit.", also synopsizing, "So as the Avengers hold him off, Wanda makes the ultimate sacrifice in destroying the Mind Stone, also killing Vision. Well, as long as WandaVision comes out on Disney+, we'll see them again. No worries?"
The Faunus girl then mimics as Thanos came over to Wanda Maximoff after she had sacrificed Vision saying he understands her grief while she beratingly replied that he could never understand, "You've forced me to kill Vision, so now I'm going to kill you!", summarizing, "Unfortunately, Thanos uses the Time Stone to bring Vision back, and succeeds in taking the Mind Stone, killing Vision yet again. Is this a repeat? I mean, we've already seen Wanda sacrifice Vision earlier, but killing him again for the sake of the Mind Stone? You're tearing me apart, Avengers!"
"After Thanos completes the Infinity Gauntlet, Thor strikes him with his newly-forged Stormbreaker axe, and tries to kill him.", the Schnee heiress said, "But what follows is the most tragic. The most devastating. The most shocking ending in any movie in recent years. Now, movie... What's your proof?"
The climactic scene then has Thanos tell Thor that 'he should've gone for the head', thus proceeding to snap his fingers much to Thor's horror as he shouted 'NO!' before everything is engulfed in a bright light for the moment.
Ruby said after they saw this part, "There. You just saw that. This is one of those few blockbuster movies where the villain ultimately wins. Not only he was the highlight of this movie, but unlike all other MCU movies that ended with a hopeful resolution or a happy ending, this was the first in the entire franchise where it ended in a bleak yet emotional way. For other films like The Empire Strikes Back or Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, there were other films that ended darkly instead of simply going for a lighter one. And with that, Thanos snaps his fingers and half of the entire universe's population is erased, after we see an emotional scene with him and a young Gamora before he teleports away."
"Audiences were devastated when they saw some of the most beloved heroes turn to dust, like the Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Mantis, Drax, Star-Lord, Doctor Strange and most importantly Spider-Man. Many including us, this left emotional scars, not to mention the fact that we're currently trying to save our friends from a similar doom, and in which we'll be going on a rescue mission tomorrow, so it's our own matters for the time being. This ending will forever be known as one of the most shocking endings in blockbuster history, not only for MCU fans, but for anyone else in cinema.", adds Yang.
Blake continued, "And what broke us emotionally is how Spider-Man turns to dust. Tom Holland nailed his performance in this one scene. The fear of dying, the doubt of vanishing into thin air, the apologetic look on Peter Parker's face moments before disappearing, that broke our hearts. Some of us even feared our vanished heroes may never return to the MCU again if there was still shreds of hope out there on whether or not if they will come back. And for that is why this was a crucial scene to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which also happened in Ant-Man and the Wasp as well!"
"But the way they executed it was a big buildup to the fourth Avengers movie, Endgame, as mentioned by Doctor Strange, which we'll get to that tomorrow.", Weiss said, before concluding the story, "As Tony and Nebula are the only ones on Titan after the Snap, while Steve, Bruce, Natasha, Thor, Rhodes, Okoye and Rocket were spared back in Wakanda, we cut to a planet where Thanos, who had said before, watches the sunrise on a grateful yet devastated universe.", the film's final scene showing Thanos smiling while watching the sunrise at his hut, cutting to black.
"And just as you thought the movie was finished, we get a post-credits scene where Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, and Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders, are also affected by the Snap as they disappear, but not before he casts a signal to a specific superhero...", teased the red-black-haired huntress as the pager shows the symbol for Captain Marvel, "There it is! Captain Marvel is coming! ...Although the film itself was surprisingly review bombed by audiences, but she's coming!"
Team RWBY makes their overall conclusion;
Ruby began, "So that was Avengers: Infinity War. And...my goodness, was that a wild ride? We can now see why this film has been seen by many as one of the biggest blockbusters ever made and as one of the deepest yet most action-packed Marvel movies ever made. The ensemble cast was incredibly interesting, the concurrent storylines were...okay, at the very least... The film's emotional depth showed its true form in many of its crucial scenes, and Josh Brolin's motion-capture performance as Thanos literally makes him one of the best visual effects performances, alongside Andy Serkis' Gollum from Lord of the Rings or Caesar from Planet of the Apes. His role shows the reason why he was the film's main character."
"The visual effects were phenomenal, the epic scale and the IMAX imagery is a sight to behold, and the action sequences were very well done. And let's not forget about the ending for the most part, as it was incredibly tragic but also set up greatly.", Yang verdicted.
Blake consummates, "And seeing how this nailed a two-billion-dollar box office smash, we'd give high kudos for the people who made this epic motion picture although we know Endgame did a lot better both in the box office and with critics, but once more we'll get to that."
"What's more greater is that the characters and cast members in this movie is just the appetizer for the buffet on what's to come in Endgame, and we hope highly that both that and Infinity War would forever be known as an unprecedented, unforgettable event.", concluded Weiss.
"Next up will be Endgame. I'm Ruby..."
"...I'm Yang..."
"...I'm Blake..."
"...and I'm Weiss."
"We remember it so you don't have to.", team RWBY finished.
Athena, Baiken, Cameron and Yume applauded softly after the girls concluded the Infinity War review.
"That was good, girls.", Baiken and Cameron impressed.
Athena and Yume showed their support, "Indeed!"
"Yeah, and so tomorrow, we shall venture into the unknown! We shall get ready for bed, maybe go to the observation deck for a few minutes, and then go to sleep.", planned Ruby.
Yang gave her younger sister thumbs up, "Good plan, sis."
"Your leadership skills are showing, Ruby. We're impressed.", Blake and Weiss satisfyingly impressed.
Ruby pouted playfully with a friendly reminder, "Let's go brush our teeth now."
The other seven nod as they all left the room at the moment.
10:45 PM
On the observation deck, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Baiken and Yume were looking at the view of the Samurai Kingdom as well as the big tree on the island horizon, after Baiken reminded Cameron and Yume about the tree's sap granting and gifting the inhabitants of the island with immortality. Their hair blew in the wind as they look on.
"Guys?", Yume asked.
The seven reply, "Yes?"
"Tomorrow and the day after will be the last days of our social event. Do you guys think this will be it?", wondered the red-haired girl.
Ruby answered, "This will not be the end for all of us. The eight of us from now on have not cemented our friendship, but established an everlasting bond that will not broken for years to come. And we'll do whatever it takes to protect our friends and our worlds no matter what."
"That's the way we say it, friend.", happily responded Athena, "I can see a bright future ahead of us. And we will win just like me winning a very difficult NES game."
Yang smiled, "The night is beautiful...", looking at the moon.
"Ah...", Blake and Weiss imagined, "If only a song can lighten the mood."
Hearing this, Ruby turns on her Scroll and plays a familiar tune by Kool and the Gang.
Cameron perked up, "Now there's your answer."
And thus, Ruby began singing.
Ruby: Let's take a walk together near the ocean shore, hand in hand, us and I,
Let's cherish every moment we have been given... For time is passing by...
Yang: We often pray before we lay down by our side... If we receive our calling before we awake, could we make it through the night?
All 8: Cherish the love we have, we should cherish the life we live... Cherish the love, cherish the life, cherish the love...
While they sang the song Cherish and began to feel sleepy, the eight of them then went back down to the castle's third floor and returned to Baiken's bedroom.
Only this time, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Baiken and Yume all decided to sleep together on Baiken's Alaskan King-sized bed.
As friends.

Meanwhile on the mysterious island lies a cave going into the darkened chasms leading to the designated destination where team RWBY and the others plan to rescue their friends.
But from the darkness of the cave, two golden-red slit reptilian eyes glowed in the darkness.
"Soon, they will come... Genocide is mine..."
