LEGENDS OF THE SAMURAI
PART IV

Endgame

EDO ISLAND
7AM

Ruby Rose groaned as her eyes open slowly after peacefully sleeping with her three fellow teammates and four of their friends.

Waking up and stretching, Ruby looks over to Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee, Athena Cykes, Cameron MacCloud, Baiken and Yume who all changed sleeping positions. Yang had drooled in her sleep, Blake and Weiss cuddled together as lovers, Athena was laying on her arm that may temporarily turn numb once waking up, Yume held onto a pillow as her hair got a bit messy, and one of Baiken's bare feet was accidentally burying Cameron's face whilst she was sleeping as the female samurai had changed positions during their sleep.

"C'mon, guys. Wake up.", nicely said Ruby, which causes the seven of them to gradually wake from their slumber.

Yang moaned, "What time is it?"

"Is it morning already?", Blake and Weis said when they came to from their rest.

Athena groans, "Dang it... My arm feels numb."

"My hair's a bit messy while we slept... I'll brush it.", Yume dismissed as she looks over to Cameron who had one of Baiken's bare feet burying her face, "Uh, Cammie?"

As the gen:LOCk recruit woke up, she moves Baiken's foot as she sputtered and simply assumed to her samurai friend who was also waking up, "I take it that you moved sleeping positions?"

"Yes, Cameron. Sorry.", sternly apologized Baiken and then sighs, "Today's the day.", sitting up as she stretched.

Athena relieves after her arm gets back to normal from the numbness, "Part of me thinks we should eat breakfast soon, but maybe we should go put on our sets of armor so we can show them to the rest of the group."

"I think that sounds interesting, Athena. The rest of our friends are gonna be so surprised when they see us in full samurai armor!", Ruby anticipated moments before the eight dress up (with Yume brushing her slightly-messy hair from her sleep before braiding it again) and left Baiken's bedroom.

Once approaching the second floor and walking across the hallway, the eight of them reached the training room, opening the shoji doors again to see the various colorful sets of samurai armor complete with kabuto helmets and menpo masks still present in front of them.

Ruby quietly said encouragingly, "Suit up.", as she, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken all came closer, where they take a look at their respective sets of samurai armor.

Their biggest quest thus far was about to begin.

Meanwhile, in the center tatami room on the same floor where Ruby and the other seven were putting on their samurai armor at the training room...

"Alright, guys.", Miria Harvent to her friends Celty Sturluson, Eureka, Ibuki, Ann Takamaki, Maki Oze and Natsume, "We make wonderful heroes as well as friends, but before we head off to The Black Cocoon soon, which that rhymed just now, we must be prepared in the arts of combat and the elements of surprise."

Ibuki notified, "I am a skilled kunoichi, so I do come in handy since I'm also a ninja-in-service to my dear friend Baiken."

"Glad to hear, Ibuki.", the immortal blonde girl delighted.

Maka Albarn and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa then came beside Miria, the former saying, "So, Miria. I assume our friends Ruby and the others will be coming very shortly for our next step?"

"Likely any minute.", conversated Miria to the two-star meister.

In the meantime, Alice Zuberg and Saika Magoichi have a conversation together during this, while they stood with Rachel and Anri Sonohara.

"Within the island where The Black Cocoon is, or Kuroi Mayu if you like to call it differently... It has to be there, right?", Alice bravely questioned.

Saika answered, "We're very sure the path that leads to rescuing our friends will not fail."

"Yeah, but I doubtingly feel like we might get lost on the way there, or if there's a maze of chambers."

"Well, we should stick together at all times for sure. Even a few people who ventured there never returned. That is, because they don't have any weapons brought with them."

"I see, Saika. We have protection, and plus I wield a sword and wear this suit of golden armor. But with no helmet, which is perfectly fine.", Alice said.

Saika told, "Totally, Alice. Even for me, I am an expert gunslinger."

Everyone else in the room then turn to the shoji door opening, where they were stunned to see team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken at that moment.

"Well, how do we look?", asked Ruby.

The eight of them were now wearing the sets of samurai armor, complete with kabuto helmets and menpo masks in their respective colors. Ruby wore the red armor, Yang wore the yellow armor, Blake wore the purple armor, Weiss wore the blue armor, Athena wore the orange armor, Cameron wore the green armor, Yume wore the burgundy armor and Baiken wore the pink armor.

"My god, girls. You look fucking badass!", Maka verdicted, "Might be a tiny bit flashy with the colors of the rainbow, but overall, you guys look FREAKIN' AWESOME!"

Ruby smiled as she and the other seven took off their kabuto helmets (fashioned with the menpo masks), "Worth a shot. We're planning to wear this armor when we go save our friends and stop Justice."

"And while we're at it, even review Avengers: Endgame during that.", Yang notified, "It's a hobby."

Natsume said, "So we're going to eat breakfast right now before we go?"

"Of course.", team RWBY said in unison.

The ginger-haired Australian cheers, "Yay!", going over to fondingly hug Ruby wearing the red samurai armor, "I'm so glad to be one of your pals."

"Yes, Natsume.", giggled Ruby, "We are indeed pals. The eight of us even established our codename although Samurai is still a good codename, and that's called Criticals, or alternatively, Critiques. But it's definitely not a knockoff name but rather an inspiration of the Avengers."

Maki Oze responded, "Whatever you guys say, since we tend to review stuff every now and then."

"That's a great name.", Natsume said, with the others but her, team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken agreeing.

Athena said, "Let's go get some breakfast then head out."

"And then again, me, Yang, Blake and Weiss will start off the other but even biggest Avengers movie to date that is the continuation of Infinity War, the monumental Endgame.", commenced the leader of team RWBY.

Team RWBY's Commentary of Avengers: Endgame (Part 1)

Ruby began, "Released a year after the predecessor Avengers: Infinity War on April 2019, and being the continuation or rather the second part of the film, Avengers: Endgame, as the title was mystified for a while as fans had surmised the title name by Doctor Strange himself already after various denies, resumes where we left off as it ties up the events of Infinity War in a powerful, bolding way. Only this time this film has a bigger ensemble, callbacks to all the other previous MCU films, an emotionally astonishing story, and outrageously even earning almost $2,800,000,000 in the box office alone, surpassing Infinity War's box office performance by almost $650,000,000. By. The. Gods!"

"The film shattered box office records and even reached over one billion dollars in only five days. Five days. It's barely even a week seeing how Endgame also has the biggest opening weekend in the box office, beating its other film Infinity War! It even crossed the two-billion dollar mark in only eleven days, less than two weeks! There's so many box office records to count!", amazed Yang, "And with that, it broke other blockbuster box office records and even beat James Cameron's Avatar by only $8,000,000, much to the acclaim of MCU fans around the world."

Blake then continued, "And if you thought Infinity War was amazing, Endgame is a lot better from audiences and critics. Although not nominated for Best Picture, but it's a lot better than the last.", explaining, "Even by the film's marketing standards, they hid as much footage as possible to conceal any major elements in hopes of bringing as much people as they can to watch what happens. And it's very interestingly ingenious of how Marvel Studios treats its films with hiding spoilers!"

"That's well said, since the film has a three-hour runtime, making this the longest MCU or superhero movie ever made. That is, until the Snyder Cut comes out.", mentions Weiss, "So again for Endgame, like with Infinity War, it had been highly anticipated and also shot entirely in IMAX, so what's not to love about it? We can't wait to see how The Infinity Saga ends, so let's find out!"

The leader of team RWBY then said to their friends, "Everyone, let's go eat before we departure on our journey!", as they all left the room to go get breakfast.

Avengers: Endgame

"The film opens with Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner, spending time with his family as the events of The Snap take place.", Ruby starts off the story as she, Yang, Blake and Weiss watch Clint see that his wife and children had disappeared as he calls out and tries searching for them, with the leader of team RWBY mimicking Barton, "Who's gonna eat all those hot dogs when you're gone?!", also saying, "After the events of Infinity War, Tony Stark and Nebula now drift through space inside the Guardians' ship in hopes of returning home.", watching another excerpt of Tony recording his message on his Iron Man helmet to Pepper Potts as he requested not to post it on social media as it would be a tearjerker, "Ever since the Snap happened, we all know it's a big tearjerker already.", with Ruby also saying when then saw Stark going to sleep and resting on the deck of the ship, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is the accurate dramatization of airline passengers' struggle to sleep during a long flight."

Seeing the part with Stark waking up to see a bright light outside the ship, Yang guessed in astonishment, "Goku?", correcting, "No, that person is none other than Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson, who had been aware of the situation ever since she was summoned in the post-credits scene of the Captain Marvel movie as she then brings them and the ship back to the Avengers base in New York. We also see Steve Rogers, who had shaved his beard and had already returned to the Avengers' base of operations after the battle in Wakanda, where he, Bruce, Natasha, Rhodes and Pepper witness the arrival.", witnessing Rogers helping Stark off the ship as they told each other that they couldn't stop Thanos after what happened, also with the latter telling the former that he lost the kid (referring to Peter Parker/Spider-Man), "The franchise is in danger... We must save him and his series if we're going to get a live-action MCU Spider-Verse film in the future!", the four watching Rocket sit with Nebula as they held hands.

"Aww, that's sweet.", delightfully stated Blake, "The only two remaining Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket and Nebula holding hands in comfort after the Snap just feels wholesome to us. They have gotten the screentime they deserved.", abstracting, "Rogers and the others remind Stark of what happened while he and the others ventured to Titan, as we all see Thor sitting in a room reflecting on his failure to kill Thanos.", with a snippet showing Rocket notifying Tony about Thor's despondency after unsuccessful attempt to kill the Mad Titan before Stark said to Rocket that he thought he looked like a Build-A-Bear with the latter acknowledging it, "You know, since they had the Detective Pikachu and Psyduck Build-A-Bear plushies and if there are Rocket Raccoon plushies available, we'd really love to have one right about now!", outlining, "Stark however is aggravated towards Rogers after what happened in the events of Captain America: Civil War, which all started because of those ridiculous Sokovia Accords the government created to split the team apart."

Weiss grunted in annoyance, "Are they...really bringing this up again? All because the government monitors the Avengers' actions doesn't mean they should act freely about it. Hell, I bet the Snap broke the accords or erased those who enacted the Accords act- No, wait, they did. Well, good thing the Accords aren't brought up again in this movie considering of what Thanos did to half of the universe.", saying as Tony angrily said to Steve about their loss and their team name being Avengers and not Prevengers, "Thor and Hulk already took the team name Revengers, thank you very much.", also reacting when Tony confronts Steve in between Carol who was listening to their conversation with the former calling Rogers a liar, "Um, we feel like Carol should've done something to break this argument up. Maybe make a conclusion to their quarrel, maybe shove them, I don't know, but she just stands there without answering. It's like if she said, 'Okay, you really need to chill out, Stark, or else I'll break this argument up. Or I might as well just stand here...so you take a breather, alright?'"

"But Stark is rendered too weak... Seriously, was it that or is it because he didn't get enough sleep from the whole trip? ...while the rest of the Avengers continue their plan without him.", the leader of team RWBY summarized as the film had Tony fainting after his fit of anger and giving Steve his arc reactor with the other Avengers continuing their plan, with another excerpt having Nebula explain Thanos' plan after causing the Snap where he retreats to a planet known as the Garden; "Of course, The Garden of Eden! We all know that's a mystical religious place of rebirth, harmony and blessing- The Garden is a planet!", the leader of team RWBY said when pretending to make the reference before correcting, saddeningly saying, "I was really hoping something religious would be on there like how Zack Snyder does it...", with a following part showing Thor coming face-to-face with Carol Danvers, summoning his Stormbreaker axe and being impressed by her whilst Captain America said 'Let's go get this son of a bitch.', "Aw, yeah! They're going to get Thanos already? That's more like it!"

When that part in the film came, team RWBY and the others had already gotten their breakfast during the review, consisting of lots of onigiri (rice with a spicy mayo filling and covered in seaweed) that they've prepared for the trip. It was also around 8 to 8:30 AM in the morning by the time they left.

The group (including team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken in their samurai armor) were already leaving the castle as they we're about to head off to the Pirate Coastline where they would take a ship en route to The Black Cocoon.

"Forgot to mention that these onigiri are so fucking good.", said Cameron as she ate one of her onigiri.

Yume smiled and giggled, "They are!"

"One of the best foods to eat at any time of the day.", savoured Eureka.

Ruby said to her sister, "Weapons?"

"Check. Goes for our huntress weapons. Semblances don't work here unlike in Remnant. The others have gotten some samurai swords, archery bow and arrows, guns, and some explosives, all thanks to Ibuki for helping us out.", Yang answered.

The leader of team RWBY asked Blake, "Food?"

"Check. We have some onigiri just in case we get hungry on the voyage. We already had our breakfast, so we should be good.", said Blake.

The red-black-haired huntress questioned Weiss, "Samurai armor sets complete with helmets and masks?"

Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken all put on their kabuto samurai helmets with menpo masks equipped while still wearing their selected colorful sets of samurai armor.

"Check. Though the others do not have any armor, we'll surely protect them as we go. Other than that, we're all good to go.", simply told Weiss, while wearing her blue samurai helmet and mask.

Ruby answered, "Okay. Before we head off, we better go get Jack-O' so she can guide and help us save our friends. Where is she at?", as she wore her red samurai helmet and mask.

Before anyone can answer, they saw a heavily-armored female guard coming over with Jack-O' in tow, her wrists tied up before she was thrown to the ground.

"I already requested prisoner parole for Jack-O', only on the conditions of helping us on our journey to stop Justice, destroy the Black Cocoon and rescue our friends.", organized Baiken.

Jack-O' said, "Honest."

"Better be.", Athena told as she wore her orange samurai helmet and mask.

The white-haired assassin with red highlights says, "Look, I really want to help you. Although after what I did may be unforgivable, I'm ready to make up for my mistake. I've told you guys this already... That's why I am going to assist you inside The Black Cocoon."

"Okay. Glad we gotten it straightened out.", Yang said whilst wearing her yellow samurai helmet and mask as she grabbed Jack-O' by her wrists that were tied up in rope, "Come over here. Just making sure you don't fight back."

Jack-O' replied, "I won't.", shaking her head with honesty.

"Anyways, now that we have Jack-O' to come with us, now we must make haste to the Pirate Coastline.", planned Ruby.

Athena wonders, "So, where's our ride?"

"We're walking on foot.", Baiken said, wearing her pink samurai helmet and mask.

Yang bedazzled, "What? I thought you guys travel on horseback or something."

"The trip down to the Pirate Coastline isn't very far. We're going down the northern path that leads to Kaizoku no Kaigansen, like how the Glade of Ninjas, or also known as the Kunoichi no Sato, has the southern path leading to there.", the pink-haired samurai said as the group starting walking across the kingdom to reach the entrance.

Cameron asked while wearing her green samurai helmet and mask, "And how long would that take?"

"Only 15 to 20 minutes from here, although the trip to the Glade of Ninjas through the jungle was a bit longer to walk.", answered Baiken.

Ibuki told, "Hey, at least the three districts are all on the same island. The Glade's my home, but we don't have time to go back seeing the situation we're at now."

"I bet there should be at least a fast boat to get to that Black Cocoon.", Athena said.

Blake said while wearing her purple samurai helmet and mask, "We'll see when we get there, Athena."

"Whatever we take, it should do the trick.", Weiss also told.

Natsume excited a bit, "I can't get over how awesome the eight of you look when wearing those helmets and masks with your suits of samurai armor. But as soon as we confront that robotic Justice, she's going to pay. Ohana needs me."

"And Ohana means family. Which in fact, no one will get left behind.", says Maki Oze, "Yes, I recognized that our friend is named after a Hawaiian word. And I got that reference from Lilo & Stitch."

Maka and Tsubaki look at each other and nod to their friend Maki, "We noticed."

By the time the group reached the entrance, the two heavily-armored female samurai guards looked at team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume and Baiken wearing the eight colorful sets of samurai armor, the latter excusing to them, "We're off to go to the Black Cocoon. We have Jack-O' on tow, since she's on a parole so she can help us take care of the situation. We entrust you to keep this place guarded just in case something else happens.", the two guards simply nodding in acknowledgement in all seriousness and respect towards their leader.

And thus, the group goes to the northern path leading to the Pirate Coastline district.

During this, team RWBY continued the Endgame review.

"The Avengers head off into space to head to the planet known as The Garden, where they prepare for their attack.", the leader of team RWBY said as they saw a snippet of Steve looking at his locket with a picture of Peggy Carter as Natasha ensures that their plan may work with the former saying he doesn't know what he'll do if it doesn't; Ruby mimicked, "I've lived through World War II, so I might as well be a war veteran.", continuing, "The Avengers successfully ambush Thanos while Thor chops his arm off with the Gauntlet. Hell, alien dismemberment is pretty gruesome in both of these PG-13 films. Unfortunately for them, the Infinity Stones were missing, as Thanos reveals that he snapped his fingers again to make sure the Stones are destroyed, giving them little to no means of bringing back the other half of the universe's population.", reacting as the Mad Titan told them the work is done and that he is inevitable, "Hey, there's another one to add to the Internet meme count! Infinity War still counts, so it keeps just adding on beneficially! Thank goodness these viral moments have come up with great ways to entertain people! Oh, movie! Keep up the good work-"

All of a sudden, the girls then saw Thor enragingly decapitating Thanos with his Stormbreaker axe, causing the four members of team RWBY to yell, "-HOLY SHIT!"

"WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA, THOR!", freaked out Ruby in shock and horror while putting her hands on her red samurai helmet for a moment, "I didn't expect this to be R-rated, what did you do that for?!"

As Thor answered in the movie "I went for the head.", Ruby figured, "That's right! What Thanos said to him in the last 20 minutes of Infinity War were actually fulfilled in the first 20 minutes.", as she and her teammates said in unison, "Oh. My. GOD.", feeling flabbergasted by this as they watch this part with the next moment showing Thor storming out of the hut Thanos was residing in after the Snap, "Well, I guess that's it for the movie-", before saying, "Nah, we wouldn't do that to you. There's still 2 hours and 30 minutes left to cover. How's this film going to cover that up?"

Yang synopsized, "Well, to this movie's credit, what follows is pretty deep and gloomy in a bold way. We find out there's a timeskip of five years, whereas the events of the Snap were still unsolved up until then. Half of the universe being snapped from existence can feel like a post-apocalyptic movie as much as a pandemic, but there were global repercussions that followed. Governments had been broken, the survivors were having difficulty coping with their losses, and there were even memorial sites that honored the Snapped victims as the Vanished. We all felt it. What was also interesting is that the franchise from this point onward now moves on from most of its movies taking place the subsequent year the movies came out since 2008, and now take place in the future in 2023. Seems fitting enough seeing how the Marvel comics feel futuristic, and it has a really great ring to it. DC should take some notes from this."

"So we cut to San Francisco, where, Ant-Man and the Wasp post-credits scene required, Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, escapes the Quantum Realm after being trapped and is unaware of the events that happened.", the Faunus girl outlined, "He soon searches for his young daughter Cassie, who was now a teenager since he last saw her.", soon watching the part with Lang reuniting and hugging the now-teenage Cassie, saying that she's so big, "Trust us, we may have a feeling she could be replaced in the next Ant-Man movie.", also saying, "Back in the Avengers headquarters, Natasha has a meeting with the other Avengers-", then noticing, "Look, Captain Marvel has her traditional haircut!", resuming, "And Romanoff has recieved intel from Rhodes about Barton.", imitating Natasha when she asked James in the film for Clint's next location as she tearfully eats her peanut butter sandwich, "Please give me an answer. I've been moping and eating peanut butter sandwiches when everyone's not here."

The Schnee heiress recapped, "As Rogers pays a visit with Romanoff, they meet with Lang, who had told him of his experiences in the Quantum Realm.", with the scene showcasing Romanoff apologizing to Lang that it had been five years yet the latter says that he had only been in the Quantum Realm for five hours, "Wow, I never knew the Interstellar time dilation could be reversed in some medium.", saying, "Now knowing that time works differently in the Quantum Realm which may be key to bringing everyone back, they plan to meet up with Stark, who is now married to Pepper and lives in a eco-compound with a daughter named Morgan. And honestly, it's actually a cute scene.", explaining, "Seeing Stark being a father is not only cute and wholesome, but also very heartfelt and emotional for the sweet father-daughter relationship they're having, though he has a married family life. While what lies ahead for Stark may impact what happens in this scene now is indeed emotional."

"Tony on the other hand has a talk with Steve, Natasha and Scott about their newly-discovered idea to revive everyone from the snap.", Ruby said with Scott saying that he lost someone like with everyone else and tells him they have a chance to bring everyone back, with the leader of team RWBY mimicking, "Maybe even bring back Stan Lee- Oh, wait. I feel sorry about what happened to him. I don't even know that guy. May he rest in peace.", also saying, "After Tony refuses to help them due to his family matters, Rogers then has an idea on meeting Banner again. And let's just say that if you thought Hulk wasn't in Infinity War often, just wait until you see what Endgame has in store!", feeling excited with her friends as the next snippet has Bruce now talking to Steve, Natasha and Scott at a diner, with Banner now in his Hulk persona with both his intelligence and voice now merged; "Yes, everyone. You indeed saw that coming!"

Yang reacts, "Yep! Banner had merged his intelligence with the Hulk's strength and appearance, and...it's awesome to see him like this, considering the fact that he's like this for the rest of the movie!", justifying, "And admittingly the visual effects help the Hulk, or should we say, Hulk Banner, escalate to become one of the greatest CGI characters once again...but it wasn't nearly as groundbreaking compared to Thanos.", explaining, "His motion-capture performance is honestly great, but while Thanos was still lauded the same as it was for Infinity War, the Hulk just doesn't have the exact same praise as Thanos by critics, probably due to have seen the angry CGI Hulk in many previous Marvel films before. Even in 2019, critics chose Alita to be the best motion-capture movie character the same year. Well...almost. But despite this, it is still a gamechanger to see Hulk Banner on-screen for the first time. Thank you, Marvel."

"They discuss the time heist they've been planning in order to collect the Infinity Stones to bring everyone back, while Stark constructs the perfect GPS model made from an inverted Mobius strip.", describes Blake with her, Ruby, Yang and Weiss watching the moment where Stark says the s-word with Morgan overhearing and repeating the swear word with the father calmly scolding her that his wife Pepper can only say that word, "What did I tell you about eavesdropping on swear words?", synopsizing also, "The next day, they attempt to use the van that Scott Lang brought to test time travel with the Quantum Tunnel, as we get a popular quote from Hulk that became another famous meme.", showing the short part with Hulk Banner saying their test was an absolute win, "And Stark arrives to resolve differences with Rogers, even giving him his shield back.", observing said scene while they said this.

Weiss admitted, "I do love this one moment where Hulk Banner comes and gives Lang some tacos. Just thinking about tacos makes some people crave Old El Paso or Taco Bell.", continuing the story, "Banner and Rocket travel to Norway where the Asgardians take refuge after their homeworld Asgard was destroyed earlier in a land called New Asgard, where they meet Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson, and they head over to see Thor's place where he and Korg, played by now-Academy-Award-winning writer-director Taika Waititi from Thor: Ragnarok, were living in.", teasing, "And...would you like to see what he looks like?", saying this as the following excerpt showed Thor with his traditional long hairstyle and beard, but now gained a potbelly, causing the girls to be stunned with the heiress asking, "Where have the good days gone?"

"Big surprise, Thor had became so depressed and guiltridden after killing Thanos and the events of the Snap that he had turned from the powerful God of Thunder to a Big Lebowski impression. No offense, it was actually brought up twice later on.", the red-black-haired huntress said as she and her three teammates looked at the part with Thor threatening noobmaster69 through the gaming headphones while Korg was playing Fortnite that he would rip off his arms and shove them up his butt; Ruby then imitates Thor, "This happens in Fortnite a lot, just so you know! Me and the Avengers have our slate of exclusive MCU skins!", also watching the moment where Hulk Banner talks to Thor about the time travel plan and reminded him of Thanos, which the God of Thunder tells him not to say the name as it gave him traumatic stress, causing her to also mimic, "No saying Thanos in this house, Banner."

The blonde-haired huntress mentioned, "There's another thing why we liked this scene. Thor was the only non-CGI character in this scene besides Hulk Banner, Korg, Miek and Rocket, so it's actually impressive to see this kind of feat ever since 2016 Jungle Book live-action Disney remake with Mowgli interacting with the CG characters and the visual environments, which we will get to that someday. Isn't there anything else in this scene that is visually amazing?"

The four then heard their friend Athena tell them, "We're here.", as they get their attention while the group (excluding Baiken, Ibuki and Saika) were astonished by the view of the shore district.

Not only does the coastline have several kinds of boats docked near a long, tall wooden pier, but there were several buildings and machiya townhouses once again, and a long sandy beach with a great view of the ocean and the horizon, while it didn't look almost as big as the Samurai Kingdom district, but a bit expansive than the Glade of Ninjas district. The buildings seen there were consisted of either residences, restaurants or stores, with many of the district's inhabitants working busily with bringing fishery and trading goods.

"Whoa! It looks incredible! We never been to this part of the island before! I can see why this place is called the Pirate Coastline, since I can notice a few ships with flags, masts and such.", Cameron said, pointing over to the Japanese ships that look familiar to pirate ships.

Baiken smiled as they go ahead and went closer to the seaside district, "Glad you love it. While it is a place for docking many boats conveniently, this is a place where the people here bring seafood in and trade in goods and supplies. It's also where the sushi is its freshest."

"Yes, that's good. So which ship will we use to travel to The Black Cocoon?", Blake wondered.

Weiss ponders, "Any of us could pick, but I'm gonna let Ruby pick which one."

"Are you sure? I thought you were choosing.", the leader of team RWBY presumed.

The heiress smiled, "I'm letting you do the honors."

Ruby then looks at the selection of ships whilst wearing her red samurai armor, helmet and mask, as she has a hard decision on which ship to choose between the many small longboats and the regular cargo ships.

"Which one is the fastest? And how much distance is it from here to the Black Cocoon?", asked Ruby.

Cameron told, "By my calculations, it's 40 kilometers from here. So a regular ship can take about probably around two hours tops."

"If anything speaking of which ship you're wondering is the fastest, may I recommend this ship?", Ibuki said, pointing over to which Ruby and the others turn.

The ship the black-haired kunoichi showed was a moderate-sized ship fit for all of them, also having big masts and a steam-powered engine with a paddle wheel as its propellers.

Yang amazed with the others, "Whoa... That looks like it was from the 19th century!"

"It may look technologically advanced, but this ship is more faster than all the other ships here.", told Baiken.

Natsume questioned in her Australian accent, "So it'll take us to the Black Cocoon in a jiffy, right?"

"Of course.", confirmed the pink-haired samurai.

Ruby planned, "Now is better than never."

"Are we sailing shortly?", Celty said.

Yang confirms, "We are, Celty."

"Good.", the immortal motorcycle helmet-wearing girl nodded.

Ruby came over to her as she said, "You know, Celty, this is the time where we save all of our friends from danger. Especially your friend Mika. We all have one chance. Just this one chance to make things go back to normal."

"Normal? This is not normal... I don't know what normal is right now...", angstly said Celty, "Ever since this event happened, I can feel and hear Mika calling me for us to save her and the others from certain doom!"

The red-black-haired huntress consulted, "Yes, and all we need to do is get there as soon as possible. We have to try-"

"Try? This isn't about trying..."

"We gotta do this. For Mika, for all of us, for our worlds! And for me and my teammates!"

"I'm not going to lose Mika and the others, make no mistake. Darkness will never prevail...", despondently told Celty.

Ruby sighed, "We shall get the ship running as soon as possible.", as everyone then all went to get their vessel going.

In the meantime, team RWBY continued the Endgame review.

"While Hulk and Rocket manage to recruit Thor for the time heist, Natasha goes to Tokyo to meet up with Clint, who now took the mantle as Ronin to get revenge for his family's disappearance.", described Ruby's elder sister Yang, with the same scene showing Natasha tell Clint that they've found something that can help bring his family and the rest of the Snap victims back, the latter who then says to her to not give her hope, "That's one of the lines that everyone has been trending on ever since this movie was released."

The black-haired huntress continues, "Clint agrees to join as well, volunteering to test the new time machine the Avengers constructed for the heist.", while she and her teammates saw Rhodes suggest to Banner that they could kill Thanos as a baby, "Don't go that R-rated route, movie. Don't go that route.", also saying when Scott prefers they steal the Infinity Stones so Thanos wouldn't have them in the future, as Nebula rejects the assumption while Rhodes and Lang tell them what movies they got the idea from, including Star Trek, Terminator, Timecop, Time After Time, Quantum Leap, A Wrinkle in Time, Somewhere in Time, Hot Tub Time Machine and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, "Hey! We all know those movies! Maybe you should add more movies to that list, like Edge of Tomorrow, Source Code, Looper, The Time Traveller's Wife, Men In Black 3, Click, Black Knight, and Christopher Nolan's recently confusing film Tenet! It's only a matter of time with these kinds of timeless movies, aren't they?"

"Barton tests the quantum time machine and it proves to be a success. This leads to the Avengers learning more about the Infinity Stones as they figure out the correct timelines for all six of them. But what we also love from this scene is that this scene has become so wholesome since the original six Avengers finally reunited after Age of Ultron. Them talking about the Infinity Stones, eating lunch together, spending time together, sharing comedic moments- It's like they secretly had a sleepover in the Avengers facility. That must be tons of fun.", interested the white-haired huntress.

Ruby outlooked, "And with that, our heroes begin their mission to obtain the stones in the past. You know, again, seeing minimal footage in its marketing to hide major spoilers is very ingenious.", watching Rogers makes his big speech as Stark smiles at him happily, with Rocket and Lang commenting that Cap makes good speeches, "You know how he is. He's the captain of the entire team.", nodding, "And so, their time travel journey had just begun.", as it showed the Avengers activating the time machine as it sends them back in time.

After this, Yang asked her younger sister, "Are you ready?"

"Yes, sis.", Ruby smiled, calling out to everyone, "Engines ready?"

Athena thumbs-upped, "Check."

"Everybody here?", the leader of team RWBY organized.

Yume said, "Present!"

"Any directions?", the red-black-haired huntress said, asking about the island's location.

The black-haired kunoichi Ibuki then swiftly climbed up to the top of the mast barefoot, pulling out a spyglass as she looked at the horizon. She saw The Black Cocoon's island 30 kilometers away from the Pirate Coastline through a closer view on the spyglass, putting the object away as she shouted, "Straight ahead!", before dropping back down to the deck without injury.

"Good! Then it's settled! Sail ahead!", ordered team RWBY.

The ship's steam-powered engine then activates, with the ship's propellers speeding the boat up to roughly 20 kilometers per hour, and leaves the dock afterwards.

Eureka said, "At this rate, we'll be going to save our friends in no time!"

"And speaking of going straight ahead, we might've found another song to lighten the mood before the main event.", Ruby suggested, putting on yet another song from Kool and the Gang.

As team RWBY, Athena, Cameron, Yume, Baiken and the others listen to this, the former eight then began to sing while the others watch and smile.

All 8: Straight ahead... Moving straight ahead... Straight ahead... (Ruby: Straight ahead...)

Ruby: So you started from the bottom, but you always saw the light...
Yang: And now we're ready for your journey, one direction reaching high...
Blake: Keep the feeling of the spirit always present as you climb...
Weiss: One direction, one vibration, that's the message, let us try...

All 8: Straight ahead... (Ruby: Keep moving, yeah...) Moving straight ahead... Straight ahead... (Straight ahead...)

During the song, some of the group members, including Ann, Natsume, Rachel, Anri, Alice and Saika couldn't help but follow along to the beat, either dancing or tapping their fingers or feet to the tempo.

The eight girls wearing the sets of samurai armor then danced to the front of the boat during the song, looking onward to the horizon of the island straight ahead...

After all, they were finally coming to the rescue.

To be continued...
