Chapter II: Departure
Skeletor
"This better be not be another false alarm or you and Tri-Klops will be cleaning Panthor's litter box" I yelled as we sped across the Dark Hemisphere. He tells me it will be worth it when we get there. "It better be or I will turn you into a can opener," I threaten pointing my Havok Staff at him.
According to the fool, they saw something crash into the planet. "Tri-Klops says it has great power," This better not be one of his failed inventions. "I think you...," a laser beam hit the Land Shark out of the blue. I look up and see that flying fool Stratos. I order Trap-Jaw to take care of him. "Yes, Skeletor," he aims one of the laser cannons at him and fires.
"Is that the best you got?" he taunts as Trap-Jaw fires again hitting him in his shoulder. He cries out and almost falls out of the sky but quickly recovers. I order him to attack now.
"He's no match for my net launcher," he replaces his claw attachment with his net cannon. "I just need to..., he tries to hook it up but Stratos plucks him out of the Land Shark and throws him to the ground.
"Useless fools! Must I do everything myself," I take control of the Shark's laser cannons and aim at do-gooder. "Now to...," he blasts it with a a laser pistol. "Curse you!" I take out my Havok Staff but he is already gone. I race to the controls. Trap-Jaw asks what I am doing. "I am going to see what you found and it would be easier without you bungling everything."
"But..."
Antoine Depardieu
"I think you will like the improvements Rotor and I made," Tails said walking over to his plane. "we were able to salvage the motor from one Robotnik's craft and adapt it for the Tornado." He says that no one will be able to hear them coming. Sonic gives a whistle admiring the craft.
"While Tails and I go deal with tubby. You and Bunnie will sneak into his fortress and rescue Sally," he says as I go pale at those words. "Don't worry Ant, Robotnik will be too busy playing with us to notice you," even so sneaking into Robotnik's lair will be all but impossible.
"Come on Antoine, we better get a plan in place," Bunnie says taking my hand and leading me to the strategy room. "According to the layout, there is a hidden entrance in this alley," she says bringing up a map of the lair on Nicole. "Doesn't look like it's under surveillance."
Dieu merci pour ça," I say giving a sigh of relief. She tells me we can enter there and make our way to the prison cells. "How do we know this isn't a trap?" I ask trying to calm my nerves. "He may leave it unguarded so someone can be caught."
"No it's a service entrance and only a handful of people know about it," Bunnie assures as as swallow hard. "We can pretend to be service workers. Rotor has a couple of disguises we can use." she says dragging away to the shop were notre ami is waiting.
Prince Adam
"I thought you said today was an easy day?" Cringer asked as we ducked into a glen to transform. I tell him Skeletor never takes a holiday. "Maybe she only needs you and...," I pet his head before pulling out my sword.
"By the Power of Grayskull!" I shout as lightning strikes the blade. The wisdom of ancients and the power of the castle filled every inch of my being transforming me into He-Man. "I have the Power!" I point the weapon at my friend transforming him into Battle Cat. "Come on Cat, the Sorceress needs us," I tell him mounting the saddle as we take for the castle.
"He-Man. Thank goodness I found you," a voice says Stratos descends from the skies. "I just saw Skeletor and Trap-Jaw head out to the desert around Snake Mountain." He says holding his left shoulder in his hand. I ask him what happened. "I got hit by a laser blast from the Land Shark. I'll be fine."
"Go back to Eternos. Tell Man-At-Arms what you saw," I tell him as he nods and takes off towards the palace.
"You seem worried?" Battle Cat asked looking up at me. I tell him I feel that whatever Skeletor and his goons are up to will affect more than just Eternia. "Don't worry the Sorceress will know what to do," he says as Castle Grayskull appears in front of us.
The jawbridge lowers and we race inside. "You have received my summons," the Sorceress says as she changes into her human form. I ask her what's wrong? "An item of great power has landed on Eternia." I ask if this item is more powerful than Grayskull?" "Nothing is more powerful than energies of the castle, but if Skeletor claims it, all will be in peril." She waves her hand causing an image of the desert around Snake Mountain appears. "Skeletor must be stopped at all cost," I tell that I'll make sure that he doesn't get it. "You must go time is of the essence," she says before disappearing.
"Come on, let's go pay Skeletor a visit."
Dr. Robotnik
"The hedgehog and his friend are coming," Snively says pointing out that infernal plane of theirs. I order him to power the laser cannon. "As you wish uncle," he charges up the right cannon and aims it at them. He waits until they are in sight and fires.
"Is that best you got Ro-butt-nik?" the voice of my enemy asks as Snively fires again only to miss. "Got to be faster than that!" Sonic taunts as I take control of the cannon. "Come on tubby, try your luck. Hit the plane and win a prize."
"I've got you now hedgehog," I blast him but he's too fast. "Hold still you blue pest!" something hits the side of the craft. "What was that?" I ask my infernal nephew as we're hit again. He says it's that pesky fox he hit us with some kind of bomb. "Two can play at that game. Release the escape pod,"
"What do you mean?" Snively asks confused. I tell him he will keep the hedgehog busy while I go get the emerald. "But uncle, I'm not picking it up. I don't think it's...," I grab him by the neck and tell him that they have it. "Yes, uncle," he says as the escape pod takes off while Snively keeps them busy.
Once I get my hand on that emerald no one will able to stop me. Not even that miserable hedgehog and his friends.
Skeletor
"Over here!" I hear Tri-Klops shout as we arrive at the location. I tell this better not be a wild goose chase. "I think you'll like it," I walk over the a crater on the ground. Inside is a sparkling blue gem. "Told you," he says as I pick it up. I could feel the power pulsate in it. "We got company!" Tri-Klops says as He-Man rides toward us. This will be the perfect chance to use my new discovery.
"That doesn't belong to you Skeletor!" he says leaping through the air and landing in front of me. I tell him that everything here is mine." I aim the gem at him firing an energy blast but he deflects with his sword. I swing at him with my Havok Staff but he counters it. "You don't know what that gem can do," I tell I know exactly what can do- destroy you. I fire again but he deflects with his bracer.
"Tri-Klops take care of him!" I order my minion as he looked around nervously. "Now you lame-brain," he steps forward and charges at him with his sword. While he is busy, I remove the ram skull from my staff and replace it with the gem. "Now He-Man Grayskull shall at last be...," the gem begins to glow energized by my magic. A beam of power hits me in the chest sending me flying.
"Skeletor!" was the last thing I heard as was bathed in blue light.
Tails
"He's getting away!" I shout seeing Robotnik take off in an escape pod. Sonic says he'll deal with him while I disable his mech. "Switching to X-Ray vision," I flip a switch and examine the mech. It seems it has a weak spot on the left knee.
The giant robot raises his hand charging up the laser but I am faster than his weapon. "Hold still you two tailed rat!" Snively's voice says trying to swat me away. It will take more than that to get rid of me. A net launches from the right wrist.
"Eject!" I hit the ejection seat as net ensnares the plane. It crashes to the ground. "I just got it fixed from the last battle. At least it will give me...," a bright light flashes in the sky. "What was that?" I take out the walkie-talkie. "Hey Rotor?"
"I'm here Tails, what's up?" I ask him if he saw that flash in the sky. "I did it seems to come from Robotropolis." So this was a distraction. He tells me he's alert Ant and Bunnie about it. I hope it's not a trap. I tell him to alert me if he finds anything new. "Will do."
"Time to try out my new toy," I say taking a remote control and activating the drone. "Now to take him out." I fire at the knee causing the giant mech to topple over. The laser cannon is aimed at the me but I fly away faster then it can fire. "I better see if Ant and Bunnie need help." I take off in the direction of the city.
