The conqueror of demons sighs and sets down his glass onto the table. He looks to his companion, a boy about sixteen years old. He clears his throat although it came out as more of a growl. "What do you want Aether?"

"Well," the blond boy responds. "I wanted to hear about what Teyvat was like during the Great Archon War. I can't find many historical records of it in the library, so I thought I'd come straight to a primary source." Xiao narrows his eyes in annoyance. "Why not just ask Rex Lapis? Or the bard? You seem to be on great terms with them."

Aether pouts a little. "Zhongli always says that he is unable to answer certain details, and Venti just always avoids my questions. That's why I came to you!"

Xiao looked as if he remained unconvinced. "If you stay around me too long, you'll start to have my karmic debt affect you. You should go."

Aether shook his head and smiled up at Xiao. "You've already directly infused me with your power in the battle against Osial, and I'm not hurt at all. See?" With that, Aether spins around, as if his athletic ability would be affected negatively by karma. Xiao looks at him dubiously. "Plus, I'll keep on bothering you if you don't tell me. So pleaseeeeee?" Aether says, practically begging while tugging on a tassel on Xiao's clothing. The Yaksha sighs. "Alright…" he concedes. Xiao attempts to brush Aether off for a few seconds, before caving in and sitting back down. Aether quickly squirms back to his position as well. "This might take a while…"
