Chapter 1: Prologue

"Hey dante! You in here!"

Yeah I'm here! What do you want, Morrison?"

"I got a new gig for you is what"

"Really now? Does it include demons?"

"Yes and a buttload of cash to boot right up alley if I do say myself"

Dante smirked and went to the office table and kicked up his office chair sat on it with his leg on top of the table

"Alright Morrison you caught my interest so where is our new client"

Just then the door to the white haired devil hunter business opened,and Dante saw a tall man with messy hair with dull brown eyes and wore the clothing of a catholic priest immediately causing dante to be uncomfortable although he didn't show it

"Dante meet our new client father Kotomine Kirei"

The priest approached the hunter before him, as he walked forward, he came to a stop and looked into the eyes of the blue eyed devil hunter. Dante simply nonchalantly glanced at him, his stupor amused at the priest in front of him.

"Greeting young ma-"

"Okay how about you get to the point already, what the hell do you want? there was no way Morrison would have bought you here unless you gave him a good load of cash" Dante replied in a serious tone as he looked at his broker who simply smirked at him

"Your deductive skills are quite impressive Dante very well the reason i am here is because In a few weeks from from now, an event shall take place in this city, this event is known as the holy grail war."

At this, Dante's ear perked up, his interest now slightly increased kotomine continue "The one who wins this war will end up gaining the chance to have anything they desire with a wish and I want you to join"

"Not interested" Dante immediately replied causing the priest to be surprised at how fast he rejected the offer but smirked

"I see well that a shame I'm sure your brother will be disappointed to hear that."

Dante's eyes widened at the sudden proclamation of his brother. Without a moment's notice, he grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him in the air

"Where is he"

"Calm down child afterall I am but the messenger."

"You gave your message,now tell me where he is'' Dante replied to the priest

"You will find him if you join this war so let ask you again son of sparda " Dante grip tightened as he heard that title "will you joined this war or not" Dante just stood there motionless before he let go of the priest and sat back on his chair "yeah you can count me in now that I know he is here"

"Excellent you will need this then"

Kotomine bought up a suit case and opened it up causing dante to look confused Kotomine began walking away from the confused demon hunter.

"Rejoice Boy your wish will at last come true"

And before Dante could retort, the man in front of him closed the door and left leaving Dante to drench himself in confused thoughts,"you sure bought in a wired one today Morrison"

"I'll say but the money is well worth it" Morrison replied causing dante to raise an eyebrow "and just how much did he pay you exactly"

Morrison raised 5 of his fingers at his friends "oh nothing much just over 50K" Dante whistle at the amount. That alot of cash "well now that this is over I'll be taking my leave" The devil hunter raised an eyebrow.

"And where are you going exactly?" Morrison got up and walked toward the door "well if what that priest said was true then this city will be turned into one giant battlefield and since I'm not much of a fighter I'll be taking a quick vacation for a while"

Dante nodded and bid his friend farewell as he closed the door he looked at the scabbard in front of him

"Just what the hell is this thing"

(2 weeks later)

Ring Ring

A phone call rings as Dante comes out of the bathroom, kicks the chair straight and takes the phone.

"Sorry, not open for business yet"

Dante throws the phone back to its resting place and takes a pizza. "I haven't even picked a name for this joint, and I'm already getting calls"

As he was eating the pizza a bald man opens the door and walks in causing dante to narrow his eyes at the man

"You're a customer too? Well, if you want to use the bathroom, help yourself. The toilet is at the back."

"Is your name Dante? Son of Sparda?"

"Where did you hear that?"

"From your brother. He sent this invitation to you. Please accept it."

The man flips the table over on Dante as he lands on top of it and grabs his handgun Ivory to shoot the man, but vanishes.

"Invitation huh?"

He catches his box of unfinished pizza as it, too, falls. He takes a slice and is about to take a bite, but several demons materialize and catch him in a surprise attack with their scythes. To their surprise, Dante is completely unfazed by their attack, and he strides confidently towards his jukebox, taking out several of the demons as they try to follow him

"This party is getting crazy, let's rock!"

He presses a button on the jukebox several times, but no music plays. He smashes a fist into it and instrumental rock music begins playing as he stylishly takes out more demons and partially wrecks his office in the process

As this was happening however a blue light emitted itself from behind him and with a small explosion that sent the hell prides flying out of his room, Dante turned around slowly, slightly surprised to see what awaited him.

It was a young woman in her late teens with blonde hair and green eyes and armor covering her whole body and beneath it was a blue gown

she locked eyes with the blue eyes of the young man before her. As dante just stood there confused as to what the hell is going on

"I ask of you...Are you my master?"
