Satoru went with Yuri to meet up with their guests first, and regretted it. Immediately after getting a fair ways away from their hideout they were bombarded with holy and fire magic spells that soon killed Yuri.

So they brought a high level faith caster. Was it to protect against me or did they intentionally come to kill Yuri? And didn't we agree on no hostilities?!

Satoru was still using [Perfect Unknowable] and a few undead summons to scope out the area. He saw what looked like a young dark elf girl walking beside another young girl in a beautiful evening gown. Satoru was no appraisal specialist but he could tell that if this was Yggdrasil these two could be considered quite strong. He was well aware that these two were definitely level 100, nothing would convince him otherwise and if going by that same train of thought they were definitely from Yggdrasil. He doubted them being from Nazarick because killing one of their own was impossible. He may have not been playing the game for 200 years but friendly fire was a thing he hated about this world that would never occur in Yggdrasil.

[You cannot win against either one of them, there is another one not too far from them. You stay away from here and I'll deal with them.] He sent a message to Keno who was watching from a distance.

[What are you talking about? They just killed that maid who was one of them!]

[That was taken into consideration. I figured there might be a possibility they would want to undo the spell, I simply figured it would be with my assistance.]

Keno reluctantly cut the message. At this moment Satoru wore a ring that concealed his undead nature and a more useful ring that protected against temporal and movement impediment attacks. He also wore equipment that suppressed his presence. He was no divination specialist but he wanted to protect against being watched. The nine rings he wore were the basic essentials needed in a Yggdrasil fight.

Suddenly losing the connection with his eyeball corpse told him all he needed to know. This was definitely an ambush. Within a fifty metre distance he undid the [Perfect Unknowable]. He already had an escape route planned even if his enemy had anti-teleportation measures in place. Unfortunately his enemy was far too trigger happy to let him get a word in.

Now that he was very close he recognised the magic being utilized as higher tier spells and skills.

"[Purifying Javelin.]"

Tch. That's what you start with, even though you're not entirely sure I'm undead. Or are you?

"[Widen Magic. True Dark.]"

"Ahh! Mare!"

"Ei!" Satoru heard the child shout. He was weary of the dark elf from the beginning. Level 100's that tended to use staves were stronger and judging by the small distance between them she was an AOE specialist.

"[Fly].That's [Stream of Lava]. I knew it, they can use tenth tier spells. And they're definitely from Nazarick. I could never forget the NPC Perorocino-san was too proud to make. All your kinkiness and the outfits but most of all, your abilities. You are min-maxed to deal with people like me, and the two of you can especially damage small groups." but no one heard his self ramblings.

After a few more minutes of him seeing that he was going to die if he fought these two any longer even if he was prepared, the possibility of defeating the both of them was slimmer than slim. They may have clearly never worked together but the Dark Elf was clearly trying to co-ordinate himself with the vampire. He played his role perfectly, Satoru - as one who has had many years of training and experience - was proud, even if he? - Satoru kept wondering why he thought the child a boy - was his enemy. And then there was the third to think about. After confirming his suspicions that [Dimensional Lock] was in use he decided to use his escape plan, he had modified it a bit while he made a few realisations but it was still essentially the same thing.

Satoru had initially planned on bringing up Yggdrasil and their old world but if they were NPC's they wouldn't know that.

"Shalltear Bloodfallen. Standby."

"Huh! How dare you use the name granted to me by a Supreme Being so casually. Unforgivable!"

Oh shit! She can ignore orders?! What happened to the absolute loyalty of Nazarick? Think. Anything else, Satoru?

[Brilliant Radiance.]

"Ah! Peroroncino-san?" he unintentionally yelled out.

"Eh! What ... did you say?"

She stopped. Don't waste this chance.

"The one who created you ... was Peroroncino-san. He was one of my closest friends."

"You know of the Supreme Beings? Where have they gone?"

Yuri wasn't lying, they really are searching for the members of Ainz Ooal Gown.

Satoru lowered himself to the ground, the dark Elf seemingly had heard their brief exchange and undid ... his spell (Satoru was still debating the thought in his head).

"Of course I know them, we travelled and fought through many lands together back in Yggdrasil. I have photo's as proof."

"Are you a Supreme Being as well?"

"I wouldn't exactly refer to myself like that, no, but does the name ..."

Demiurge watched as the Deputy Leader of the Pleiades Battle Maids walked up to them. Mind controlled or not she was a disgrace and a stain on Nazaricks reputation. Ordering Shalltear to kill her was slightly redundant but he ordered it anyway. Because she was a dullahan one would be led to believe that she simply detached her head from her body, but that was not the case. Shalltear's holy magic was effective even against level 100 undead, so a level 51 wouldn't take it too well. Now all they had to do was wait for her master.

It didn't take too long, after all he must have seen his puppet get destroyed.

It wasn't so much the voice that spoke, nor what it said that shook Demiurge to the core, but the underwhelming presence that he felt when the being revealed himself close to them. He had to steel himself to remind himself that he wanted to cast [Dimensional Lock]. He was well aware of the fact that items and certain abilities allowed one to conceal their presence and existence, but to this degree? Demiurge had in no capacity intended on underestimating their enemy, even on the of chance that they were weaker than anticipated he wasn't going to go in uninformed and unprepared. That was the thing that only fools did and Demiurge – owing the pride to his creator – was no fool. The being revealed himself.

Shalltear was hasty but if she was effective he didn't mind, she was under instruction to take the body back – dead or alive – all she had to do was ensure he wasn't turned to dust.

They started speaking. This fellow was informed. It didn't seem like he was lying, but if this was a ruse to capture Shalltear he wouldn't allow it. Demiurge walked closer showing himself to the enemy, this was not his style but he had a plan.

"... does the name ... I would have liked to say that I wasn't expecting an ambush because we agreed that this would be a non-hostile hand over but demons aren't exactly known for upholding their end of deals are they?" The man turned and adressed him, he had already been spotted ages ago, the undead he got rid of earlier must have given him away.

"Do forgive me. It was simple protocol, a threat to our organisation cannot be allowed to exist. Sometimes certain things must be said and the opposite done in order to get what we desire. For when people believe they are at their safest they are indeed at their most vulnerable." Of course Demiurge wasn't being sincere.

"What a fiendish line of thought. Don't tell me that Ulbert-san is leading all of this?"

Satoru then started mumbling to himself. Demiurge now understood what had stopped those two. Intentional or not, this man knew something about their creators.

"Ano ... J-just who are you?" Mare stood not only behind Shalltear but also somehow behind his staff as if hiding away from everything in front of him.

"Forgive me." He removed his mask.

The presence and aura felt familiar, this couldn't be another trick. Everyone in Nazarick would recognise the aura of a Supreme Being.

"Momonga-sama? ... Momonga-sama?! Have you finally returned to us? Have you brought the other supreme beings or are they still upset with our incompetence? Ah, forgive me for speaking out of turn! Forgive me for attacking you, I was unaware, I know that isn't an excuse... " Due to his own shock Demiurge had to turn to the wailing Shalltear to see that she had already genuflected to the being before he had unequipped his guantlets.

It was true that he was overwhelming, he now held within his right hand the legendary staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, something only that Supreme Being could do.

"Momonga? I haven't been called that in a while ..."

Demiurge had to strain his ears a little to hear the response, he clearly wasn't addressing them at the moment.

On the outside things seemed to be going alright but behind his jealously mask, Satoru was sweating. He had hoped that he could demotivate them slightly by releasing his Despair Aura I which would be amplified by the staff as a sort of weak AOE spell. The reason simply being that the vampire started acting strange. "Supreme Being" he let slide, but "Sama"? Did they want him to be their superior, just like that? It wasn't the way he normally dealt with enemies but he knew it worked. He had figured this out accidently about a century ago and figured this was the right time to use it. He had also unequipped the item that concealed his presence, he didn't care about being located, if these three were on his side he was good. Of course side effects that weren't included were those of sudden prostration and declaration of allegiance.

They really can leave the tomb. They were programmed to be loyal so does that mean Yuri Alpha wouldn't have betrayed me? If they can't go against their orders why did they kill her then? I have so many questions but first a little test.

"Ahem! State your names."

Ahh! I didn't sound weird did I? Such thoughts plagued his mind. He was used to being held a certain degree higher amongst his comrades and acting accordingly when dealing with others but this was far too high.

"Forgive this incompetent one, I should not expect a Supreme Being to remember the name of something such as myself."

I'm sorry! That's not how I meant it. But I already said your name a minute ago, how forgetful do you think I am?

"Guardian of the first, second and third floors of the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick, Shalltear Bloodfallen."

So the hierarchy still exists? And the tomb? Wait ... what did she say? Others? Does that mean there is no one else in Nazarick?

The others did the same, reminding him of the demon's name. But he ignored that for now.

"Where is Nazarick now?"

"If it your wish we shall escort you now." This time the demon answered looking a lot less smug.

After spending a few days in Nazarick, having Mare, Shalltear and especially Demiurge beg for punishment for their behavior before all of Nazarick was doing the same, reclaiming his rings and the lives of his friends and visiting a certain someone in the treasury – simply ensuring that the treasury existed – Satoru remembered that he had left a certain vampire waiting for him somewhere. On the bright side he knew she didn't die of hunger.

For those that like Keno, I don't. I just really don't. Anyways ... better late than never. Also, Ainz can hide his presence even from the guardians, In the Men of the Kingdom ( V6 specifically) Arc Shalltear acknowledged this. (This is a weird place to answer a comment.) I may have played around with it a bit for story purposes but ... hey it's fan fic. I happily inform you dear reader that I will focus solely on Insurrection until it is finished. Considering beta-reading afterwards but these month to month updates shouldn't be!
