Chapter 18 The Lake

A.N. – Okay, so the clone of Ulrich appears in this episode. Also, the conflict between Yumi and William also arises as William tries to figure out why Yumi hid the fact she would get with Ulrich after his rescue. Also, a few scenes edited as well as Yumi's duel with Ulrich and Ulrich revealed. Finding the scenes for Ulrich was tough, but I think I got proper ones, mostly from season one. There is one from season two. This episode was one that I was waiting for. Let's begin! P.S. – I know they change their outfits; you can choose how to imagine what they're wearing.

Guest – I know, but like I said, not enough info to build on. 1. I was thinking the same. I was planning this before I wrote the season three finale. I was thinking it was going to be a major twist. 2. This episode. 3. Sure, I could add that in. 4. I believe Xana doesn't know that William is even related to Aelita, till now. He wasn't around when Franz and Aelita disappeared. Even though Franz would save him as much as Aelita, I believe that Xana thinks Aelita is more of a vulnerable target (kind of like how William was in Episode 65).

"Did we just hear you right?" Odd asks Yumi.

"Yes. I was being stupid before thinking that breaking up was the best idea for us. But once Ulrich fell to Xana, I can't stop thinking about him," Yumi responds. "I just need to talk to him."

Everyone was in shock, except for William, who left. He knew Yumi was grieving Ulrich's loss, but she was secretly planning to get with him. He knew Ulrich had the best chance with Yumi, but Yumi was actually planning to be with him. "Maybe that's why she's this way. She feels like he's slipping away," William says. "She can have him, but I need more answers."

A few days later, the 9th grade class are loading a bus for a two-day trip to the lake, Jim and Ms. Hertz chaperoning.

"You can take your hand luggage on the bus with you. And the rest of your stuff goes down here" Jim tells them all.

"What if Xana attacks while we're away?" Jeremy asks Aelita in concern.

"After a week of working day and night on the program, I think we deserve this weekend, don't you?" Aelita smiles softly. "It'll be the first time we go camping together too!"

"What program Einstein?" Odd asks.

"Aelita thought we should shore up the protection shields on the skid. We haven't tested it yet, though" Jeremy explains as Odd is walking in front of them. He is carrying one large bag. Jim looks over his shoulder.

"You two are incredible, really. I mean as if we didn't have enough homework from-" Odd bumps into Jim.

"Della Robbia, weren't you listening? You got to store the suitcase!" Jim tells him.

"You said that carry-on was okay. Look I'm carrying it Jim" Odd smiles nervously.

Jim then looks to Sissi, Herb, and Nicolas. Sissi is on her bike while the boys are carrying a lot of luggage.

"Sissi, what are you doing with all that stuff?"

"It's my baggage Jim" she explains to him.

"You were told to only take what was strictly necessary! Now get a move on and take all that junk back to your room!"

"But Jim, my party dresses, my shoes, and all my make-up. I can't possibly go without them, and my hairdryer too."

"Now listen Elizabeth," Ms. Hertz walks up to her. "This is a camping trip, and it's only two days. Your bicycle too should be left at home!"

She gives them a snidely look. "Do you want me to tell the principal, my father, that sports activities are being discouraged on school trips?"

"Uh…well, all right, but make it snappy" Ms. Hertz says nervously.

Everyone boarded the bus, including the clone of Ulrich.

"Hopefully he doesn't cause trouble" Aelita says, worried about the clone.

"Just got to keep an eye on him" Jeremy responds.

Odd breaks a cookie in half, feeding the other half to Kiwi.

"Hey, who's dog is that?" the clone asks Odd.

"He's mine and be quiet!" Odd responds.

"Odd, do you know what you're risking here?" Aelita asks.

"What's wrong? How could I leave Kiwi in his room while we're getting fresh air?" Odd asks defensively.

"Speaking of leaving, we had to leave Yumi behind because she has a few tests to do, along with William" Jeremy adds.

"Yeah, two tests today!" she smiles in amusement. "You lucky dogs! I wish I were on that bus with you."

"Sorry, but we already have a dog, and we're also babysitting Ulrich #2" Aelita responds.

"Good luck dealing with him. Speak to you later" she hangs up and heads for class.

Herb is sleeping next to Sissi, who pulls out a compact mirror to look at herself, smiling. She moves a bit to stare at Ulrich #2.

"Elizabeth! Put that strap higher up. Seatbelts weren't meant for puppy dogs" Jim instructs her.

Kiwi suddenly barks, getting Jim's attention. "Shh! Quiet Kiwi. Don't let them know you're here!" Odd orders him.

"Well, well. Somebody looks very guilty," Jim stares at him. "What do you got inside there?"

"In there? Um, some things that came with me on the trip like-" Kiwi suddenly jumps out of the bag and land sin Odd's arms. "Oh, imagine that. It must be that stray dog that everybody saw running around near the campus. He sneaked on the bus, I guess."

"You went and bought him a collar marked Della Robbia" Jim points out, pointing to it.

"No, it's us…it's just a coincidence! See, he must belong to a distant cousin. There are plenty of Della Robbias! It's a common name like Morales or-"

"Knock it off. All animals are forbidden anywhere and everywhere on school grounds!"

"That's great because we're not at school now, are we Jim?" Odd smiles anxiously.

"Don't try to be a wise guy with me Della Robbia. You've been caught red-handed! As soon as we get back, you have an appointment with the principal."

Ulrich #2 looms at Odd's hands. "Your hands aren't red though. What's he talking about."

"Please, for this exam, all you need is a sharpened pencil and your logic and concentration" Ms. Meyer hands out the tests.

"You ready William?" Yumi asks.

"Yeah, and I got some questions for you later" William responds.

"About what?"

"About why you withheld that info from us."

"I wanted to surprise you all, but you got too suspicious."

"Not good enough. We'll talk about this later."

Yumi is more confused on why William is this way.

The class has finally reached the lake. Jim and Kiwi come running out.

"Hold it! Slow down!" Jim orders as Kiwi sniffs a flower.

"I told you not to keep him on a leash…" Odd frowns a little.

"Oh yeah? What if he bit one of the other kids? What then? Hm?" Jim replies as Kiwi has peed on his leg to his dismay.

"Here we are," Ms. Hertz smiles at the sight of the lake. "This will be our home and laboratory for the weekend. An unspoiled haven for all lovers of flora! A field trip to a true garden of Eden. In short, an ecosystem unequaled in the region." Aelita looks to Jeremy as she continues speaking. "And you are looking right at it.'

"What, that microscopic island is where we're gonna camo?!" Sissi screech sin shock.

"If you think that's small, wait until you see the rubber dinghies" Ms. Hertz smirks at her.

The class are now on rafts, paddling along. "I was afraid of this," Jeremy states while Odd is rowing, and Ulrich #2 lets his hand glide across the water. "I can't et a signal here. I won't be able to access the supercomputer!"

"Don't worry, for the time being, I can still call out. "I'll tell Yumi" Aelita pulls out her phone and puts it to her ear.

"Rats, the factor of minus x was the right answer. Looks like I'm in for another lousy grade," Yumi mutters as she's sitting outside. Her phone rings, and she answers it. "Inferno here, everything okay in paradise?"

"Not really, Jeremy can't seem to get online. You're gonna have to check regularly to see what's happening on Lyoko" Aelita explains to her.

"You've gotta be kidding. I've gotta a huge French test in 5 minutes and – hello? Hello?" Aelita cuts out.

"That's it, I've been cut off," Aelita looks up to Jeremy. "But I think she got my meaning."

"Are you sure?" Jeremy wonders. The class reaches its destination.

"Hurry up Yumi" someone walks past her.

"Be right there, I've gotta, uh…go to the bathroom!" she runs to the passage in the park. William also notices her.

"I'm getting my answers" William says, following her.

"Remember to pitch your tents very carefully, because if you don't, the smallest gust of wind and poof! Done in a cup. Actually, that reminds me of when I was living in a teepee in the desert near New Mexico…" Jim tells the class.

"Jim, this might not be the best time" Ms. Hertz warns him.

"You don't know what you're missing Suzanne," he smirks a little. "Anyway, I want you all to read the instructions for the setting up of your tents before you start. If you don't wanna find yourselves up the creek without a paddle…now get going!"

Everyone takes a tent. "Hey, how do I se this up?" Ulrich 2 asks Odd.

"Follow the instructions, good buddy" Odd replies.

"Instructions, which way did they go?"

"Ulrich honey, I though maybe we could put our tents side-by-side so we can talk to each other tonight!" Sissi suggests.

"Sorry, but I go to try to find which way the instructions went. Maybe that weird blonde knows" Ulrich 2 heads back to Odd.

"Hey Sissi, well I would be glad to set up my tent next to yours for tonight" Herb offers excitedly.

"Sure Herb" Sissi responds.

"Really?! Oh, that's fabulous! Fantastic, I…uh, by the way, where's your tent?"

"Right there," she drops it in front of his feet. "Let me know when you've set it up" she walks away from him.

"There's nothing we can do. Without a connection, it's totally useless!" Jeremy leans against a tree while Aelita is pitching the tent. "I just hope that Xana doesn't take advantage of it…"

"Relax Jeremy," Aelita sits up. "Yumi is watching the store at home."

The elevator doors open and Yumi runs inside the lab. "Okay now, let's see…" she turns on the screens. William is takin the longer route to the lab.

"The flower called the campanula and Solaris can only survive on small islands such as this one. Since it's protected from ruminants by a barrier of water. So, in your opinion, what would happen if the lake dried up?" Ms. Hertz turns to the class with a smile.

"Uh, we would be able to walk home?" Nicolas raises a finger, Ms. Hertz annoyed by the laughter that follows.

In the ice sector, a tower is activated.

A power line flickers, electricity coming from it. It travels down the pole and to the lake. Something arrives underneath, looking like black goop.

"Well, everything seems okay. An open window, no activated tower. I might even get higher than an F on my French test" Yumi smiles and is about to leave when she hears a voice.

"I don't think everything's okay Yumi" William says arriving.

"William, what are you doing here?!"

"Followed you, because I need some answers for closure."

"Not the best time," the superscan activates and shows an activated tower. "Okay, definitely not the best time!" she tries calling Aelita. "Still no connection. Are they on a desert island or what?"

The water bubbles behind Ms. Hertz. "The preserve of so much campanula contributes to the proliferation of a rare species of water fly, as we will see here in the woods." They start to leave, Nicolas lingering behind.

"I don't see what was so funny. I mean, what's the use of a boat if there isn't any more water?" Nicolas asks curiously, noticing the black substance arriving. "Hey, there's a lot of pollution in this lake."

Heidi gasps at the water, Nicolas poking it with a stick. He's electrocuted soon after. "Help, hurry up! Come quickly, Jim! Ms. Hertz!" Heidi screeches as she runs off.

In the celestial dome, the scyphozoa is flying towards the top. It flies inside the skid hanger.

Ms. Hertz checks over Nicolas, surrounded by Jim, Jeremy, Ulrich 2, Sissi, Herb, and Heidi. "He's in a state of shock, but he's breathing" Ms. Hertz informs everyone.

"There was this thing in the lake. It was black, it shot a lightning bolt at Nicolas and then it was gone!" Heidi explains to the teachers.

"Must have been an electric eel," Jim closes his eyes. "I've seen them before. When I was a forest ranger in Quebec-"

"Jim," Ms. Hertz interrupts sharply with a deep frown on her face. "Enough chatter. Make yourself useful and go get the first-aid kit."

"Right away Suzanne!" he runs off in the other direction.

"It wasn't an eel! It was much bigger, it was huge!" Heidi insists to Ms. Hertz.

"Ma'am, I…" Jeremy speaks up, fearing Xana is back. "I really think we're in great danger here."

"Now now, don't worry Jeremy. These things happen. Nicolas will be just fine.

However, the black entity reappears, lightning coming from the water. Everyone around screams, half of them running off. The other students see the lightning from their camp spots, Kiwi barking at it.

"What's going on Jim? We're scared!" a student cries.

"Stay where you are," Jim warns the students. "Let me go check it out. Ah, the ambulance." He reaches the lake and sees Heidi, Ms. Hertz, Herb, and Sissi passed out. "Suzanne? Whoa…" He drops the first-aid kit out of shock and confusion. "What is happening here?"

The scyphozoa floats above the skid and connects its tentacles to it. The scyphozoa starts to drain the protection shields.

"What is the problem, William?! You mad that I choose Ulrich and not you?" Yumi asks him.

"No, I'm mad because you hid it. Listen, we are all suffering, and I think we need each other in these desperate times. And I want to know why?" William responds.

An alert comes on the screen. "Oh no! Xana's attacking the skid!" Yumi exclaims in worry. "I don't know what to do. Jeremy answer please!"

"We absolutely have to find a way to get back to the factory" Jeremy states once they've met up.

"One step towards the lake and zap!" Odd points out. "But if we create a diversion, maybe one of us could get away!"

"Okay, you do that while we try to get in touch with Yumi," Jeremy tells Odd. "If we only had an antenna…"

"Okay, how big an antenna?" Aelita looks to her left. Jeremy smiles too once he looks.

The students all frightened as they speak to Jim.

"Calm down now. I don't know what that thing in the lake is, but I can tell you that it better watch it, cuz he's gonna have to deal with me, and sparks will start flying and…that is…well, there already are sparks. Well, you know what I mean," Jim hugs the students. "Now to begin with, we got to help Ms. Hertz." He sits her up, shaking her. "Suzanne. Suzanne! Say something Suzanne." He slaps her across the face, shocking the students.

Ulrich steps up to the edge of the activated tower, surrounded by two krabs. He looks at the tower a few feet away.

"Oh no, that's all we need! A good frenemy!" She now has to deal with William, the skid, Ulrich and the tower. What else could go wrong? To her relief, Jeremy calls her. "Jeremy! About time."

"Hey listen, we're here playing survivor with an aquatic monster that likes to electrocute anyone who comes close to the shore!" Jeremy informs her. "Anything on your side?"

"I'm totally helpless. The activated tower is really well protected, and the skid is in the process of losing most of its energy!"

"Does it have many life points left?"

"At the rate things are going with the ship, it's gonna be over in no time!"

"Listen, there's no other choice. Ready or not, we have to test the program. Yumi, is William with you?"

"Yeah, he is."

"Put him on. I'll dictate what to do and you enter exactly what he says, okay?"

Yumi hands the mic to William. "Jeremy, it's me. Go on."

"That's the first time I slugged someone without getting a reaction…" Jim looks at the hand that slapped the science teacher.

"You have to give her mouth-to-mouth!" a student calls out.

"Yeah…mouth-to-mouth, of course" Jim responds.

The students giggle as he leans down towards her, but she jolts awake. "Jim. You come even a hair closer and it's the last thing you'll ever do on this earth! Understand?"

"Hey, I cured her!"

"Okay shift the energy of the lateral shields to the side under attack" William tells her, but she messes up.

"What kind of program is this?!" Yumi says frustrated.

"Hey Jeremy, what kind of complicated program did you and my sister write?"

"They'll never make it on their own Aelita" Jeremy outs a hand to his phone.

"Jeremy, all is ready!" Odd reports. "But we need princess."

"We?"

"Yeah, the clone will take Aelita to shore."

"Okay. William, tell Yumi that your sister is gonna try to get to the factory. Until then, you and her better get things prepared for going to Lyoko."

"Okay" William responds.

Heidi, Nicolas, and Herb wake up. "Feeling better? Yeah, obviously. Well, you've been through an awful shock" Jim says.

"JIM!" Odd shouts.

"Alright. What's the matter now?"

"Help me, Jim! It's my dog!" Odd gets to his knees. "He's in terrible danger!" Jim raises a brow, and Odd leads him to the lake. "Only you can help save this poor, defensive animal Jim!"

"Okay, I heard you. Don't overdo it now Della Robbia."

"Look, over there!" Odd points to thee right, where Kiwi is barking from a raft that is in the middle of the lake.

"Oh, holy moly. How did that hound ever get into a mess like that?"

"He was playing in the canoe, and…well, a wind came up and carried him away!" Odd looks up at him pleadingly. "Oh Jim, save my Kiwi!"

"Well, okay, but you stay right here, understand?" he gets onto a raft and paddles, Ulrich 2 emerges, with Aelita hiding under a blanket. Aelita sees the signal from Odd.

"Okay, go!" Aelita tells the clone, and he paddles.

Yumi and William step into the scanners, having done a delayed virtualization process for both. They both close their eyes and are both virtualized into the ice sector. They run to the tower.

Kiwi barks as Jim reaches the dog. "Alright doggie, come to Uncle Jim." He tries to grab the dog but jumps into the water. "Come here, I said! You hairy hound! Get over here!" Kiwi swims over to Ulrich 2. "That's…that's that sneaky Ulrich Stern!" Jim blinks in shock. "Come back immediately, will ya?!" His legs are in two rafts each, and they separate. "Stern, I'm responsible for-" he falls into the lake.

Yumi and William both stop as the two krabs are blocking the tower. "One for each?" Yumi asks.

"With pleasure" William responds.

The two both head towards their separate krabs. Yumi throws both of her fans and misses. She catches both. She jumps on the leg, and lands on top of it. She throws a fan and jumps off as the krab explodes.

William deflects the lasers from him. He super smokes behind it but is immediately hit. "I'm not in the mood today!" William says threateningly.

Jim crawls back into a raft, Ulrich 2 glancing behind him. "Stern! Come back here!" Jim calls out.

The black entity in the water appears, going after the boy. Ulrich 2 doesn't notice. The black smog eventually reaches his raft, shocking him. He reaches the other side unconscious and depixelized. It goes after Jim next.

"Come here, you slimeball! You don't scare me! I've got rubber-soled NASA-issued astronaut space shoes!" Jim threatens while holding his paddle. He gets shocked from the water, falling into the raft. "Smarted just a little…"

In the skid hanger, the scyphozoa continues to take shield energy.

Ulrich 2 stops flashing as Aelita sits up. She sees his state and smiles, looking towards Sissi's bike. "Let's see how fast I can pedal!"

Yumi comes to help William, but she is also shot too. She lands inside the tower. William goes under it and slices it. The explosion also puts him inside the tower as well.

"Now we wait for my sister" William says.

Ulrich steps up right behind them.

The black monster from the lake approaches the surface, crawling onto the land…

Jeremy is on his laptop, Odd walks up to him. "I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that Aelita got through."

"My good news is that I finally managed to get connected to the supercomputer!" he exclaims in relief.

"The bad news is that our black muddy sludge is on the prowl."

Yumi and William come flying out of the tower landing on their backs. They both look up as Ulrich steps out of the tower. He draws both his sabers. They both stand up. Yumi tosses a fan which he deflects. William tries a direct attack. Ulrich blocks it and kicks him, leaving him wide open. William super smokes before Ulrich can devirtualize him.

"You'll never win Xana! Not while you still have Ulrich!" Yumi declares.

Ulrich tosses a saber at her. William blocks it to protect her. William tries a sword swipe and Ulrich jumps to avoid it. He super sprints and grabs his saber and runs toward William. Him and William lock sabers. Yumi tries to counterattack, but Ulrich uses hi second saber to slash Yumi's wrist making her drop her fan and lose 40 life points.

"You think you can hurt Yumi and get way with it?" William says.

"Why not? No matter what, I'll always be her number one, and you'll be number two" Ulrich responds.

"I don't care. I always knew Yumi would choose you over me."

They broke each other apart. "I've known Yumi for a lot longer than you. I can connect with her on a deeper level than anyone else can."

Yumi suddenly got a n idea. She needed William gone, so she did the unthinkable. "Sorry William" she said as she threw her fans at him, devirtualizing him.

"What…was…that…for? She must really hate me" William concludes.

Yumi was still in disbelief in what she did, and Ulrich tackled her, smirking. He put a saber to her neck, and Yumi tried her idea.

"No Ulrich! We love each other, remember?" Yumi cries.

Ulrich freezes at that.

"I'm really glad that you came. Thanks Ulrich, you know how to cheer someone up." Yumi says smiling. Ulrich places his hand on hers and she looks up in surprise. He smiles back at her.

He drops both sabers, holding his head. Ulrich's darkness started to fade. Ulrich was fighting off Xana's virus.

Aelita pedals hard as she arrives back in the city.

Electricity strikes into the campsite, Odd guiding Ms. Hertz away from the chaos. Lightning strikes a tree, and it falls over him.

"Watch out!" Odd cries as he ducks to the side. Some students start crying out of fear, Kiwi barking.

"Now if Aelita can just get there in time, we can launch the program…" Jeremy murmurs in worry.

Aelita finally arrives at the factory, riding across the bridge. She grips the rope once she reaches it, soaring across the edge. The bike falls onto the main floor.

Ulrich's suit starts to change to yellow from black as Ulrich was starting to gain control.

Ulrich and Yumi start sweating, Yumi glances at Ulrich as he has his shirt off.

"Go ahead. I won't look" he tells her, his back turned to her.

Yumi slips her shirt off, pressing her back to him. They both blush, smiling slightly.

Xana and Ulrich continue a mental battle.

"Ulrich remember us, remember the kiss on Lyoko. Here's a reminder" Yumi says as she kisses Ulrich.

Ulrich falls backwards and lets out a scream before remembering.

Ulrich pulls Yumi up the side of the cliff.

"Ulrich you-" she's pulled up to his face as they look away shyly with also embarrassment.

Ulrich and Yumi look back at each other, still so close.

The two both close their eyes as their lips grow closer.

The electricity sparks near Jeremy, touching his laptop. He looks up at the antenna. "Why of course!" he hums with a smile.

Aelita arrives in the computer lab, running up to the chair.

"Sis, Yumi-" William starts.

"No time! The program is almost complete…is the skid beyond hope? No, not yet." She gets to work.

Ulrich's complete body suit has turned to yellow. He gets up.

"Yumi?" he says.

"Ulrich is it you?" she responds.

"Yes, but only for a short while. Listen, the virus is beatable. The secret to my freedom lie within the replicas themselves. Xana makes mistakes. When it happens, make the most of it, and maybe you'll find the keys to my freedom, as well as an anti-virus program. I believe in you guys."

Xana gains control over Ulrich again. He picks up his sabers and the darkness returns. He aims one at Yumi.

"Okay, it's launched," Aelita looks up at the screen, 4 towers appearing on it. From each sector, a way tower is activated. The scyphozoa continues taking energy until the shielding knocks it back. The scyphozoa is finally destroyed and the skid is saved. "Well," Aelita leans back, arms behind her head. "We should feel proud of ourselves." She smiles happily. "Our program is operational! Yumi, how are you doing?"

"Aelita! At last! Hurry up or I'll be going to join Ulrich in an anti-Lyoko Warrior crusade!" Yumi exclaims.

"Give me time to set up a delayed self-virtualization, and I'm there."

The electricity continues to strike. Jeremy waves everyone forward.

"Okay everybody, hurry it up! Run to the antenna over there, and it'll be our lightning rod!" Jeremy tells them.

They come out of hiding, staring at him.

Aelita is now in the scanner room, quickly heading over to the ice sector. Ulrich is about to push Yumi into the digital sea, when an energy field hits him. This sends him falling into the digital sea.

"Just in time," Aelita murmurs in relief. She notices Yumi's melancholy look. "Is something wrong Yumi?"

She closes her eyes, staying silent for a moment. "For a while, the real Ulrich came back, and spoke to me. He believes we can save him."

"We will, someday…"

Jeremy looks at all the lightning bolts. "The electrical discharges are getting more intense. Given the enormous rate of ionization, against the dispersion factor on the ground, they're going to reach a highly critical mass in, let's see, just about 7 minutes."

"Meaning?" Odd asks.

"In 7 minutes, everything on this island is gonna turn into one big barbecue."

Odd opens his mouth in shock.

Aelita devirtualizes Yumi and runs toward the tower.

The students recoil back in fear as the sky gets darker. The lightning starts to get stronger.

Aelita reaches the tower and steps inside. She lets herself fly to the top; eyes closed. She does a flip before she reaches the platform. She puts her hand on the interface.

"Tower deactivated."

The sky gets clearer, and the clouds move away, birds chirping. The students open their eyes.

"Hey Benjamin Franklin, you think Aelita will remember to program a return to the past?" Odd asks.

"Go on bro" Aelita tells William.

"Return to the past now" William says, as time is reversed.

It's the bus trip to the lake again. "So, I regenerated the shield by activating several towers for a few seconds at a time, that's what saved the skid" Aelita explains.

"Sounds like for Mr. and Mrs. Einstein. Say, how come your cool Einstein. Xana attacks don't scare you anymore?" Odd asks.

"They're still scary, but since he never makes the same mistake a second time, and since Aelita and I have been working non-stop for all of this week…we'd like a little, um…" Jeremy responds.

"Okay, we don't need details."

Jeremy blushes in embarrassment.

"What did you do with Kiwi?"

"Let's just say that I found him two somebody's who learned what a dog's life really means."

Kiwi is sniffing the tree, held by Yumi. "Come on Kiwi, hurry. We have to get to my exam!"

"Ah Yumi, about earlier, I'm sorry. I was just confused about the situation" William apologizes.

"Don't worry about it," Yumi responds. "If you must know, I didn't want you guys helping me more than you already are. This is something only I need to do."

"And I'll stay out of the way. You two were made for each other. What happened in Lyoko?"

"Let's just say, Ulrich ain't gone yet…and he will be back here with us" Yumi said blushing.
