Chapter 27 Kadic Bombshell

A.N. – Another problematic chapter. Season 4 seems to have a lot of these. Time to see how the Lyoko Warriors settle the problems that arise throughout this chapter! P.S. – I'm sorry if William might seem like an A-Hole throughout this chapter. One of my reviewers suggested to make William not attracted to Sissi's pen pal. So, just know this is not how William will be in future chapters.

admiral809 – I agree that the mountain was underused, and the desert was overused. There was one sector 5 entrance in the mountain sector I believe in season 3. I don't want to change it too much as it will turn into an evolution scenario where it's only desert, mountain, and sector 5. For the kiss, many people will have different opinions on it. So, I just left it up to people to believe what they want and gave no definite answer.

Guest – Glad you liked this chapter! 1&2. I'm thinking for episode 86, William is gonna be there, but not practicing with Yumi. So, he will have the same fate as Ulrich. 3. I think that was more of a Xana power. Also, I said his super smoke wasn't gonna be overpowered and I think I'll be tipping the edge with that ability. 4. I completely forgot about that ability. I think I can use it in this episode and episode 87, but after that is unknown. 5. I'll have to investigate both of these cases, so I don't have a definite answer. 6. I think for everything to flow properly, William will have to take the fall. Can't change too much. 7. I thought it was right after the hug in episode 83.

"And at the end of the play, Juliet drinks a potion, which makes her appear to be dead," the teacher is summarizing Romeo and Juliet to the class. "Romeo, thinking he's lost his young bride, poisons himself. And when Juliet wakes up and sees the lifeless Romeo…she drives a dagger through her heart."

Sissi is crying at this. "That is so beautiful!"

"That is so idiotic!" Odd comments next.

The bell rings, ending the class. "Don't forget to read through the balcony scene for next week! See you on Monday!" The teacher calls out as they leave.

"What didn't you like about it Odd? It's a wonderful love story, isn't it?" Aelita asks curiously.

"That's just it Aelita. It's a story! Giving yourself for love, that's dumb" Odd replies back.

"That's because you haven't met a girl who loves you enough to die for you" Jeremy quips in amusement.

"Listen, if you ask me, nobody would die for love. Would you be ready to die for Yumi, William?" Odd asks as William shows up.

"I would die for any of you. We're a team! But I would have to choose my sister to die for first" William glances over to her. Aelita just smiles.

"Hi, what are you guys talking about?" Yumi asks arriving a little after William.

"Oh, about tragedy and true love-" Odd starts.

"And Odd thinks it's totally idiotic!" Aelita finishes for him.

"Hey Aelita, I think I figured out a way for improving source logarithms and I could use your help" Jeremy suggests to her.

"That's sounds great, but first, let's have lunch!" Aelita runs off and he chases after her.

"I think my sister and Jeremy would die for each other" William says as he stares after them.

"No doubt, unless the boredom does it first!" Odd replies.

"Hey, what's that all about?" Yumi looks to see a group of students, includes Sissi, surrounding someone.

"Hey, come on, what's the name?" Nicolas asks excitedly.

"How long you been for?" A student asks.

"Do you speak English?" Another student asks.

"Ha ha, I'd love to show you around!" A third student asks.

They're surrounding a blonde girl standing next to Sissi. The four walk up to the group. "Wow, give me a break," Yumi comments at her, turning to Milly and Tamiya. "Who is she?"

"Sissi's overseas pen pal. She's visiting for four days. Her name is Bringa Herad-uh…Herodel…uh, whatever!" Millya answers annoyed.

"Bringa Heringsdotir. And she's from Iceland" Tamiya corrects her friend.

"And Sissi's just eating it up! Thanks to Bringa, she's getting lots of attention."

"Yeah, only this time, the boys aren't interested in her" Yumi looks at Sissi as she shoos the boys away.

"Okay, the show's over. I'll take Bringa to her room," she walks towards the dorms, and the two leave. The crowd separates as Odd is smiling widely. William doesn't care.

"Time to wake up Odd" Yumi crosses her arms in annoyance.

"I'm alright" Odd replies.

"Are you saying that your program you modified gamma waves?" Aelita asks Jeremy, who eats a brussel sprout.

"Yeah, that's right. Which means we could have a much faster virtualization and more…wow…" He stops talking as soon as he sees Bringa in the lunchline.

"What now?" William asks as him and Odd look at her. Bringa smiles, taking her tray, Sissi looking smug. People even let her cut in line. But not for Sissi apparently.

"Hey, let me through, huh? Huh?!" Sissi demands.

Bringa gets her seat opened and pushed in, her food being earned for her. The two girls look in annoyance, the boys just smiling at her. She gets water poured for her.

"Thank you" Bringa says too Matthias.

"Oh, she said thank you to me!" Matthias leaves her table.

"I wonder what the boys see in that string bean" Yumi mutters to Aelita.

"Look at the girls," Aelita gestures to her. "They're all chasing after her to find out her beauty secrets."

"I'd like to sit down if you don't mind!" Sissi tries to push past everyone. "Let me through, will you?!" She grunts in defeat and leaves. Herb pushes in her chair.

"Sorry Sissi, this seat is taken. I'm holding onto it because Bringa promised that she would sit with me during dessert" Herb tells her.

"Huh?!" Sissi's confused as herb ALWAYS lets her sit next to him.

Odd opens the door once he's finished, sighing. "Well, this weekend is about R&R for me! Rest and recuperation, yes sir."

"You're not going to the pool tomorrow with Miss Iceland? Seems everyone's going" Yumi asks him.

"No, I've got better things to do like hours and hours of sleep," Odd walks backwards and bumps into someone. "Oh, sorry."

"Watch where you're going, huh creepo?!" Sissi yells at him.

"Oh Sissi, one of these days, someone is gonna…" He stops talking once he sees Bringa's eyes, smiling widely.

"Oh, it's alright" Bringa tells him.

"I tell you, she's something else!" Odd states as he's playing foosball with William in the rec room. "She's gorgeous and slim and her hairs like gold! And did you see those deep, clear green eyes? Absolutely incredible! Wow! And did you get a look at that beautiful, soft skin she has? Bringa's noy just beautiful, beautiful is not the word…she's I don't know she's…well, she's…"

"You mean ugly?" Aelita asks, everyone except Odd laughs.

"You talk about her as if she's the 8th wonder of the world" Yumi points out as Odd scores against William.

"That's right, those are the words I was looking for! Bringa is the 8th wonder of the world!"

"Odd, get real! You have a serious problem Mr. Smooth!" William tells him, trying to knock some sense into him.

"Yeah, like an overheated brain" Jeremy adds.

"I'm serious Jeremy. Odd the bachelor here is gonna do something really stupid one of these days because he's trying to impress a girl" William points out, knowing Odd could cross a line.

"It's not my fault I caught Bringa's eye, and you didn't!" Odd brags to him.

"I could care less! Do I need to remind you the fate if the world is on the line as well as Ulrich's?!"

"You know something? You're just jealous!" Odd defends.

"I'm not jealous! There's only one girl on my mind and that's my sister! Keeping her safe from Xana is my number one priority!"

The door opens. "Oh, there you are Odd," Bringa is standing in the doorway. "Are those your friends? I'd like to meet them."

"Why sure Bringa!" He steps forward. "Aelita, Yumi."

"Hello" Yumi starts.

"Bringa" Aelita finishes.

"William and Jeremy" Odd says.

"Are you the one whose name is Einstein?" Bringa smiles at Jeremy.

"You look very intelligent!"

"Yeah…" He smiles widely.

"William, I hear you're the fighter. Maybe you could teach me some self-defense."

"No, take a class. Not interested" William responds quickly. He is clearly not attracted to her. Odd glances at him. William ignores him.

"It was nice to get to know all of you. Shall we go for a walk, Elksan?" She pulls Odd to her.

"That means sweetheart!" Odd tells them, running off with her.

"Not impressed whatsoever!" William states.

"Yeah, you're right," Jeremy agrees with him. "Bringa needs somebody a little more intellectually developed!"

"Did you guys realize you're talking about your friend? Even you Jeremy, you got the fried brains!" Aelita scolds him. "At least my brother has enough common sense!"

"You're wrong Aelita. I was just working out the statistical probability of a girl as pretty and charming as Bringa falling in love with a guy like Odd!"

"I'm surprised William. You're the only guy not falling for that blonde ice cube" Yumi tells him.

"I chased a girl who rejected all of my advances, so I think I can play the rejection side just as well" William responded. Yumi knew who this girl was.

The two girls get up and leave.

"What's the deal with them?" Jeremy asks.

"It's called jealously Jeremy. But they do have a point."

"Yeah," Jeremy pushes up his glasses. "That Bringa has really started messing with our heads."

"Maybe yours and every other guy. Not me."

Later that night, Odd steps into his room…and gets confronted by his friends. "Huh?" Odd shuts his door. "Did I miss an episode?"

"Odd, we have to talk, seriously" Yumi starts off.

"We think for our best interest as a group, you should stop seeing Bringa" William adds.

"It's not very good for our missions," Jeremy states to him. "Bringa is coming between us, and…"

"And like my brother said you should stop hanging out with her now Romeo" Aelita crosses her arms.

"You actually want me to stop hanging out with Bringa just because you guys can't get along? It's not her fault or mine either! The problem is you and your jealously" Odd opens the door.

"Odd, wait, it's a big problem!" Yumi pleads to him.

"Maybe for you, but not for me! In fact, I have a date to go on with your problem, so ciao!"

Odd walks away and eventually runs into Bringa. "You look a little upset. If you don't want to go out-"

"Sure, I do, it's just that my friends are acting so lame. Come on, let's go." They walk down the stairs.

Aelita and Jeremy are in the computer lab. "The program will run all night. We'll have to wait till tomorrow" Jeremy explains to Aelita.

"Still thinking about Odd?" Aelita asks.

"I was wondering if our gang will survive this 8th wonder of the world…"

"Honestly, I wouldn't worry. This will last two days, just like his other past girlfriends."

"I don't know. I think that girl has turned our Casanova into a Romeo!

Odd and Bringa are walking back into Kadic around midnight. "You have such a sad face all night," Bringa points out. "You're not happy to be hanging out with me?"

"Sure I am. But I was thinking about the fight I had with my buddies" Odd replies softly.

"Don't worry. Sometimes you make friends, sometimes you lose them. You make new ones."

"Oh, they're not just any old pals," he stops, and she looks at him. "They're real friends, and real friends count a lot more for me Bringa."

"That is true, but your real friends have made you very sad. Now that we are together, you don't need them."

"No, no, it's really different with them. And we're just friends Bringa. You wouldn't understand?"

"Well then, explain it to me. What is the matter? Don't you trust me Odd?"

"Uhh…well, you see, we're…we're kind of like an army," he punches the air. "Of warriors."

"Warriors?" She asks in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Oh nothing, forget I ever said anything" Odd says, realizing he's about to give away the gang's secret.

"I thought you trusted me, but you don't."

"W-wait! Okay, let me show you something. Maybe you'll see why my friends are so special. But you've gotta swear to keep it a secret" Odd says, about to break rule #1.

He leads her to the factory, blindfolded, and removes the cloth. "Here we are. Tada!"

She gasps at the computer lab. "Oh, this is incredible! What is this place?"

"Uh, it's kind of complicated. I'm not sure I understand it all." Bringa walks up to the computer. "They're pretty top-secret scientific experiments." She taps a key activating the monitor. "Ultra-secret. Phenomena, digital kind of stuff."

Bringa starts to type, accidentally modifying the program. "Wow!"

Odd finally notices her. "No Bringa, don't touch anything!"

"Alright Odd, I'm not an idiot."

"But the supercomputer was doing something!" He looks just to catch a glimpse of the error message. "What did you do?"

"Me? Nothing at all. I hardly touched the keyboard."

"Okay, we better go now" Odd urges before she can break anything else.

"But I haven't seen anything yet."

"Let's go. Please Bringa."

She stares at him and finally decides to follow him.

The next morning, Jeremy's computer beeps. He sits up from his bed. "Huh? What's going…?" He rushes over to his computer.

William's phone rings and he answers it with his eyes closed. "What's the problem?"

"You gotta get up. Activated tower in sector…" However, the superscan deactivates showing all clear. "That's weird. There isn't any activated tower. Okay William, you can go back to sleep. False alarm. Jeremy hangs up, confused by what's happening. "I don't get it…"

William puts his phone down, looking towards Odd. Kiwi is on his back. He shakes his head and lays down.

Jeremy and Aelita enter the computer lab later that day. "You sure you heard the alarm?" Aelita asks as they rush in.

"Sure, I'm sure. And I don't think my computer's gone paranoid. So that's why we've gotta hurry and find out what's going on. Still no activated tower. Now let me check the log. Bingo! There's a system alert, alright, but not from this morning. It was at 12:36 last night. Interesting…" The superscan comes up again. "Huh?" In the desert sector, all that sits is a deactivated tower. "This is getting weirder every second. Look, the supercomputer says that there's an activated tower in the desert sector. But in terms of digital activity, nothing's going on."

"What's the cause of these false alarms? You think it's a virus?" Aelita turns to him curiously.

"It could have been a problem with the program that we launched last night…but I don't get it. I checked everything out. Here are my calculations. Oh no!"

"What's wrong?" She turns to the screen.

"The program has been modified! Some sort of parasitic foreign data was entered into the supercomputer. Someone came here last night for sure." He checks out the security camera footage and finds Odd bringing Bringa inside.

"Uh oh. Looks like Odd made a big fat mistake."

"No, I think his mistake is more like skinny and blond" Jeremy says fast forwarding. They watch Bringa sit in the chair and tap a key. Odd stops her.

"No Bringa, don't touch anything!" Odd exclaims.

"Only your too late Odd" Jeremy comments as they see his grin.

"Well, no need to look any further Jeremy. Odd gave away our secret" Aelita sighs a bit.

"It was Bringa. By touching the keyboard, she modified my program and that's what messed up the supercomputer,"

"Can you fix it Jeremy?"

"Yeah, but the problem is that it might take a little while. And of course, during that time, Xana could-" The superscan interrupts him. "Activated tower! Though it could be another false alarm…"

"Yes, but we can't be sure. Send me to Lyoko" Aelita tells him.

"Uh uh, too risky."

"But not knowing what Xana could be up to is even riskier. You need someone there like before we had the superscan."

"Yeah, you're probably right," he relents in defeat. "Get in. The activated tower should be in the northwest part of the forest sector."

"Gotcha!" She exclaims from inside a scanner.

"Transfer Aelita. Scanner Aelita. Virtualization."

She doesn't arrive in the forest sector, but in the ice sector. She lands and notices her surroundings. "Jeremy, you made a mistake. You sent me to the ice sector."

He pushes up his glasses. "No, I didn't make a mistake. I virtualized you in the forest sector. Oh, we really have a huge problem." He contacts William, who's at the vending machine with Yumi.

"New problems Jeremy. Probably with his Icelandic wonder. What? We'll be there," he hangs up to look at Yumi. "Odd just broke rule #1 and showed Bringa the supercomputer. She modified it and now it's malfunctioning! Sissi, is Odd with Bringa?"

"Yeah, they're in the park!" She frowns as Yumi and William rush to find him.

Aelita is meditating in the ice sector alone. "Where are you Aelita?" Jeremy asks her.

She opens her eyes, looking up. "I don't feel any pulsations. I don't think there's a problem" she gets onto her feet.

"Okay then. I'm gonna bring you back in right now. I don't like you being all alone in Lyoko. Materialization Aelita."

Instead of bringing her back to Earth, she ends up in the mountain sector… "Oh no Jeremy. Another major problem. Believe it or not, I'm in the mountain sector!" She looks up ahead. "And I'm not alone either…"

Approaching her direction are two bloks and two kankerlots.

"Okay Aelita, I'll warn the others" Jeremy says as she runs off.

Bringa is stroking Odd's hair as he's laying down on her lap.

"Odd!" William calls him out.

Odd is approached by Yumi and William.

"Oh, hi guys" Odd replies nervously.

"How was the movie? I hear it's called 'The One Who Betrays Us!'"

"No, Jurassic Experiment."

"Oh yeah? You sure it wasn't Two Rats in the Factory?" Yumi asks next.

"Uhh no, what makes you say that?" Odd asks.

"Because Jeremy's got the whole thing on film on video. The actors are the spitting image of you two! Anything to say for yourself?"

"Hey, listen, it's not what you think. I was gonna tell you about it!"

"What's in that head of yours, sawdust?! The supercomputer is on the blink. Odd, you have just betrayed your way out of our group."

"What is the problem? Yes, we visited Jeremy's mysterious laboratory. It's not the end of the world!" Bringa defends them both.

"For you information, it could be the end of the world!"

"You have no idea what dwells inside and what it can and will do if we fail!" William informs her of an apocalyptic future under Xana's control.

"I've had enough of these stories," Bringa stands up. "I'm going to the swimming pool. Well Odd, are you coming or not?"

He glares to her and then to Yumi and William. "I am. I'm really sorry." They both walk off.

William answers his phone. "Jeremy? Not bad but not good either. What? You sent my sister alone?! We'll be there!" He hangs up. "First Odd betrays us, the Jeremy sends Aelita to Lyoko alone. Just hope Xana doesn't know."

"Or hope Ulrich isn't there!" Yumi adds.

"Hang in there Aelita. William and Yumi are on their way. I'll be finished fixing the supercomputer really soon, just a couple of minutes" Jeremy informs her.

"A couple of minutes? Survival out here is a matter of a few microseconds!" Aelita says hiding behind a rock.

The monsters continue firing at Aelita and she comes out of hiding, firing an energy field. She misses and she finds another hiding spot.

"Energy field!" She throws another one and hits a blok, destroying it. She activates her wings and takes flight, only to be hit from behind…by Ulrich's saber. The sword returns to him (his saber was spinning so it did a full 360). The three monsters fire at her.

"Stop!" Ulrich commands. He jumps down and runs to her. "Aelita, finally. Now it really is just you and me."

"Aelita watch out!" Jeremy warns her.

She throws an energy field at him, but it flies right past him. He looks at it and Aelita escapes. She jumps across a platform, Ulrich and a kankerlot follow.

"We're here Jeremy" Yumi says as she and William arrive in the scanner room.

"Okay, you're going in right now. Aelita's in big trouble in the mountain sector" Jeremy informs them.

"Just a minute," William asks. "How are you sure you'll actually send us to the mountain sector?'

"No idea, I'm still fixing the supercomputer, but we have to risk it. If not, Aelita will be at the mercy of Ulrich!"

They both step inside. "I just hope we don't end up in the digital sea" William comments as the scanners close.

"Transfer William. Transfer Yumi. Scanner William. Scanner Yumi. Virtualization."

Jeremy taps enter and they virtualize to the desert sector.

"Jeremy, we ended up in the desert sector."

"Sorry guys."

"At least we didn't virtualize over the digital sea" Yumi says.

"I could always try to bring you back in and then send you to the right sector."

"No, we can't take the chance. We'll find our own way. Just point us in the right direction."

"Okay, the way tower is due south from your present position."

They take off in a run.

Aelita peeks from the rock she's hiding behind. The blok looks around for her and she runs, being stopped by Ulrich's saber. She fires an energy orb and hits him in the arm. She flies up and kicks him down, flying away.

William and Yumi reach the way tower. "Jeremy, we're at the tower" William says to him.

"Listen Aelita, I'm almost through fixing the supercomputer. You okay?" Jeremy asks her.

"No, I'm not okay at all!" She exclaims as she looks over her shoulder. A kankerlot knocks her onto the ground and she looks in horror to see Ulrich arriving. He throws smoke at her trapping her in place. He lifts her up in the air and throws her at a rock. She hits the ground, and he brings her to him.

"My master will finally have you forever!" Ulrich laughs evilly, staring at her in the eye. Fans are thrown at him, one of them knocking him away. Aelita is freed as Ulrich super sprints and Yumi catches her weapons.

"Hey Stern! A quick lesson, leave my sister alone!" William calls out to him. Ulrich super sprints to him. William tries to sword slash him. He jumps up and tries to take out both of them. They both dodge. Ulrich and William engage in a duel, while a kankerlot materializes in front of Yumi. She absorbs a laser with her fans., flipping to the side. Three more kankerlots and a blok arrive.

Odd is at the swimming pool with Bringa and a bunch of other guys. She does a swan dive, and the guy's cheer for her. She comes up to the surface smiling at them.

"What do you say we go for a swim together later?" Nicolas waves a towel.

"Are there beaches in Iceland?" A guy asks.

"Hey, would you like a fantastic breathtaking experience in the moonlight tonight?"

"Shut up Poliakoff!"

Bringa looks over to where Odd was, before turning back around. Odd has disappeared.

Jeremy notices that the two are losing life points on his screen. "Hey William, Yumi, go real easy, okay? If you guys get devirtualized before I can fix the program, I'm not sure that I can bring you back to Earth again."

Yumi tosses her fan at a kankerlot and destroys it. She catches it in her hand with an annoyed look on her face. "And you're telling us this now?!"

She absorbs some lasers with her fans. Ulrich jumps from William's swings.

"Anymore bad news?" William asks.

"This is perfect. My master is gonna have three threats become no more" Ulrich smirks at William.

"Try us" William glares at him as he backs away.

"I will!" Ulrich swings his sabers as William dodges. William tries to take him out, but Ulrich sweeps his feet and kicks him. Ulrich tries to take him out, but William uses his armor to stop him. William kicks him, Ulrich flips and lands on his feet.

The elevator door opens, and Jeremy looks to see Odd. He closes his eyes and turns away.

"Uh, could you use my help?" Odd asks nervously.

"Odd, you're not exactly welcome around here. I'm sorry, but I have no time to chat with you" Jeremy replies thinly.

"Well, that's great then, let's not waste any time and virtualize me right away! Our friends must need help."

Jeremy knows Odd is right. "Okay, but with the supercomputer down, you could be virtualized anywhere at all."

"That's my problem" he presses the button and heads down.

Yumi flips away from the two kankerlots and the blok. She throws her fans at them, and they jump over it like it's nothing. The blok prepares to fire its ice beam and she front flips, only for her arms to be encased in ice. She gasps in disbelief, putting her legs back down. The kankerlots fire and the ice dissolves. Aelita flies into view and destroys a kankerlot. The blok fires and she narrowly dodges it. She dodges again as Yumi tosses her weapons, the blok jumping over one, but the other one devirtualizes the pesky monster.

Ulrich locks swords with William, jumping over his weapon. Ulrich goes for a combo and William backs up, eventually to a rock. William looks behind and is quickly devirtualized by Ulrich.

"William, no!" Yumi exclaims, and then she's devirtualized herself. Aelita fires an energy field at the kankerlot that hit her, destroying it. Ulrich runs up to her, and she's unfortunately all alone…again.

"Your turn!" Ulrich declare to her.

Jeremy waves his finger over a key. "It's the moment of truth, I guess…" He presses it, and the supercomputer is now repaired. "Yeah!" He pumps his fists, pushing up his glasses. "Transfer Odd."

Ulrich continues to approach Aelita, who moves away from him.

William and Yumi come out of the scanners in relief.

Aelita is nearing the digital sea.

"Virtualization" Jeremy says.

Odd appears right behind Ulrich and Aelita looks up at him. "Odd!"

He lands in front of Ulrich. "You think I'm afraid of those popsicle sticks?" Odd comments.

"You should be. I'm surprised that you came. Betrayed the group and then you easily came back" Ulrich says to him.

"Yeah, we all make mistakes good buddy, it's what makes us human, unlike Xana."

"It's not like to actually admit to your mistakes. You should have never came back as easily as you did."

"You were kicked out to Ulrich, but you always came back because of the friendship we have. No matter what we protect each other. And we always learn from our mistakes, and that's the one thing that separates you from Xana, he doesn't."

Odd fires a laser arrow. Ulrich bloks with his saber, and one hits him in the shoulder. Odd hits him again.

"Not bad Odd. You're better…but not smarter" Ulrich says as he fires smoke at Aelita sending her to the digital sea as he devirtualizes.

"Aelita!" Odd rushes over to the edge, jumping off. He notices her bracelet and aims for it. Her wings are activated, and she looks up at her friend, flying towards him. She catches his arm, flying upwards as much as she can. She smiles in relief at him.

Odd and Aelita come out of the scanners, with everyone waiting for them.

"Well, I know what you're gonna say," Odd states once he steps out. "I betrayed you and I'm a total lame-o, and I should be kicked out of the group…" They just stare at him. "And you're right too, guys. I should never have shown the supercomputer to Bringa. It's unforgivable!"

"Well, no, you simply forget that inside that head of yours, there happens to be a brain!" Jeremy says to him.

"I think all of us are to blame. That girl messed with our heads, and almost teared us apart" William admits to him."

"Yeah," Yumi smiles a little. "We all went a little too far because of Bringa."

"Well, I forgive you Odd," Aelita smiles at him. "I mean you saved me from Ulrich!"

"Well…still friends?" Odd asks.

"Still friends…now and forever" William answers.

"There is still a way to fix the mess I made. A little return to the past, hm?"

"Oh, that won't be necessary, I don't think" Jeremy admits.

"Bye Bringa!" The students tell her as she's actually leaving Kadic. They all follow her.

"Can you believe that? She completely forgot to say goodbye to me!" Odd complains jokily.

"Well, now do you see why I'm not worried about the supercomputer Odd?" Jeremy asks him.

"Who cares about Bringa anyways? There's no shortage of girls around here."

"Hey Sissi," William calls out to her. "What happened to the four days?"

"Well, let's just say I convinced my father to send her out of town to my cousins place. She wanted to see the country, so I said why not?" Sissi replies.

"I guess for you, that's a relief, cuz now that Bringa's gone, she can't steal the show!" Odd comments to her.

"You may not believe it Odd, but it was really a pleasure. You know, I sometimes envy you two," she gives Yumi and Aelita a look. "Because being surrounded by guys all the time could never happen to you!"

"Aww, now, now, that's the Sissi we all love! How could I have flipped over Bringa?"

"Get away from me!" Sissi runs away from him.

"Sissi, Sissi, wait! Wherefore art thou, Juliet?"

"Look like Odd found love again!" William states as they all laugh.

Odd and William are in their room after dinner and discuss this last adventure.

"Do you think you'll ever find true love Odd? And not some meaningless three-day fling" William asks him.

"Maybe not now, but there is someone out there. I just have to find her" Odd replies.

"Juggling through girls doesn't help."

"Maybe I'm thinning the herd."

"I don't think your thinning, I think you're executing."

"That's because you thinned your herd to one girl. Yumi, and she's taken."

"And I've given up on that. Her and Ulrich will be happy. Right now, the only person who matters to me is my sister. Once she's safe and Xana is dead. I'll start my search again. Till then, not now."

Anyone would love to have a brother like William, but not everyone has a AI called Xana who wants to kill them every day.

A.N. – And this ends the problematic chapter. I know some things changed, but remember this whole entire season is custom and interactable. It just has to be close to the original without changing the plot too much. The only thing that will not be part of the original will be the bonus chapter which will come after Down to Earth.
