Author's note: This time, it didn't take that much to write this chapter. You might imagine that it's going to be boring, because it's based on an episode, but there is a lot of original things.

A Summer Full of Spells

Arc 1: Chapter 3: The Inconveniencing

Since the last adventure the three kids had, sometime had passed. Everyone had already get used to the wizard boy. Some even already considered him part of the family.

It was another ordinary day at the Mystery Shack. Wendy was reading a magazine; Mabel was spinning on top of a globe and Dipper was reading the diary sitting on a barrel.

"Mabel, do you believe in ghosts?" the boy in the cap asked his sister.

"I believe you're a big dork! Ha ha ha!" replied the girl, starting to laugh. Dipper, wanting revenge, took a pencil to break the globe, causing his sister to fall to the floor.

"Soos! Wendy!" said Mr. Pines, entering the store.

"What's up, Mr. Pines" asked Soos, running from the back of the store, since he was refueling the snack machine.

"I'm headin' out. You two are gonna wash the bathrooms, right?" said the owner of the establishment, giving an order to the employees.

"Yes, sir" answered the handyman.

"Absolutely not" replied the red-haired girl.

"Ha Ha! You stay outta trouble" said Mr. Pines, leaving the shack again. However, he quickly returned.

"Hey, have any of you seen the little magician" said Stan, only receiving shrugs as an answer.

"Fine… just pay attention to see if he explodes something, okay?" said Mr. Pines, receiving an excited nod from Soos, and a shook of head from Wendy. After this, he officially left the place.

Soon after the owner left, the five at the store heard a loud explosion, and felt startled by it. They were sure that there was only one explanation.

"We should check what it is" said Wendy, planning to go outside.

"Wait, I need my tools first!" said Soos, starting to search for his tools to fix whatever the wizard boy could have broken.

Wendy, Mabel and Dipper have quickly run outside to see what it was, not even giving time to the handyman to find his tools. When they arrived, they saw a pile of cans, with a little bit of fire on one of the sides.

"Aqua" said Finn creating a small amount of water to extinguish the fire. His cat meowed, showing his owner that his friends have arrived.

"Oh, hello, everyone" said the wizard boy.

"Finn, is everything fine?" asked the boy with a cap.

"Yeah, it is, don't worry. I was just trying to use this combo of explosive firefly and aim spells to hit these cans, but it's not working properly," said the young sorcerer.

"Ignis insectum" said Finn, creating a magical firefly, leaving the other surprised. "Scopum perfectus" said the wizard boy, trying to aim the spell at the pile of cans.

When he threw the firefly at his target, it seemed it was going to work, and his friends smiled at the young sorcerer's success. However, when it was about to hit it, the spell deviated from it, and started to go to the side.

In the end, the spell hit an area close to the goat that used to go to the Mystery Shack, scaring the animal, and making him run away in fear.

"Yeah… it still needs more practices" said the young sorcerer embarrassed at his failure. Seeing the situation, Wendy had an idea about something.

"What if I show you some stuff about aim" said the red-haired teen, making the three children feel confused.

The red-haired girl brought the three kids, plus the cat, to a spot in the roof of the Mystery Shack.

"All right, check it out" said Wendy, showing the children a spot where she hid at work. There, there was an umbrella, a cooler, a pool chair, and a bucket with pinecones.

"Did you put all this stuff up here" asked the boy in the cap, impressed by the location.

"I may or may not sneak up here during work, all the time, every day" said the red-haired girl, picking up a pinecone and throwing it on a target at a statue located outside the shack, hitting the center. "Yes!" she said, celebrating.

"See, Finn, you should just relax more" said Wendy, trying to comfort the wizard boy.

The young sorcerer took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, while he grabbed a pinecone and started to focus magic.

"Scopum perfectus" said Finn, opening his eyes, and throwing the object. This time, it almost hit the target… almost. On the exact moment, it went to the side.

"See, this time was closer" said the red-haired girl, trying to help the boy.

"Our turn!" said Mabel, also grabbing pinecones and trying to hit the target, been followed by her brother. However, no matter how hard they tried, they only missed.

After many tries, Dipper accidentally hit a light blue car that was on the ground, causing it to start beeping, making the boy in the cap very embarrassed.

"Jackpot! High five" said Wendy, offering his hand to a Play here with him. Dipper, however, stood still, admiring her.

"Don't leave me hanging" said the red-haired woman, in a playful tone. The boy in the cap then accepted the invitation. At that moment, they saw the sound of a car approaching.

"Hey, it's my friends" said Wendy, seeing one of his friends put his arm out of the vehicle window. "Uh, you guys aren't gonna tell Stan about this, are you?" asked the red-haired woman the children.

Dipper responded by making a gesture of closing his mouth with a zipper, a gesture that she also did.

"Later, dorks" said Wendy, using some trees to get down to the ground, getting in the car when he reached his destination.

"Later, Wendy. Ah, good times" said the boy in the cap, making a passionate silly laugh.

"Uh-oh" he said to Mabel in a playful tone.

"What?" Asked Dipper.

"Somebody's in love" replied the girl in the sweater, poking his arm.

"Yeah, right. I just think Wendy's cool, okay? It's not like I lay awake at night thinking about her" said the boy in the cap.

'Cool' Finn thought, noticing how much the other two thought she was cool.

It was late at night, and everyone else was already in bed sleeping. The wizard boy, however, was still awake, trying to get the spell right.

"Ignis insectum" said the young sorcerer, creating a firefly once more. "Scopum perfectus" he said, trying to hit the cans once more. This time, it hit just a few inches close to the cans.

"Okay, just one more try," said Finn. "Ignis insectum" he said, creating a firefly for the last time. "Scopum perfectus" he said.

Finally, it seemed he was going to succeed, since the spell has never got that close to the cans. However, at the end, it ended up dodging the cans and set part of the Shack in fire.

"Oh, come on! Aqua" said Finn creating a small amount of water to extinguish the fire.

"Meow" said Mr. Starry Night, attracting the wizard boy's attention. The young sorcerer approached his feline companion and set close to him.

"Yes, I know that practicing spells at night is not that good for my health, but I just wanted to get this right," said Finn.

"Meow" said the cat.

"Sorry, you know how I can be persistent when I am training" said the wizard boy. Soon after, he sighed.

"I just wanted to finish this spell to prove I am as cool as Wendy," said the young sorcerer.

"Meow!" said Mr. Starry Night, on a reprimanding tone.

"I know they think I am cool, but look at how they think Wendy is awesome," said Finn. The cat just stood silent, since he knew there was nothing else to do to try to convince his owner.

The next day, Mabel and Wendy were doing a dance party for no reason, which was common for both of them, Dipper was pretending to be taking notes and Finn was playing with Mr. Starry Night, since his cat convinced him to take a break of training to play with him.

"Dipper! Aren't you gonna get in on this?" asked the red-haired girl, making the boy in the cap very embarrassed.

"I, uh, don't really dance" said Dipper, a little embarrassed.

"Yeah, you do. Mom used to dress him in a lamb costume and make him do the lamby dance" said the girl, wearing a cyan sweater with a big musical note in the center.

"Now is not the time to talk about the lamby dance," said the boy in the cap, with an irritated expression.

"Lamb costume? Whoa! Is there, like, little ears and a tail, or…?" asked Wendy, in a playful tone.

"Well, uh... uh…" said the boy in the cap, embarrassed, being interrupted by his sister.

"Dipper would prance around and sing a song about grazing" said Mabel, taking a photo out of her pocket of the costume. Dipper motioned for her to stop talking, closing his mouth with an imaginary zipper.

"Don't worry, Dipper, is not that bad. I had an owl costume when I was little and used to make noises like 'hoot' all the time" said the wizard boy.

"That must have been adorable!" said Mabel.

"Thanks" said the young sorcerer, blushing a little at the compliment.

At that moment, the cuckoo clock chimed, indicating the end of the red-haired girl's shift.

"Hey, look at that. Quitting time. The gang's waiting for me," said Wendy.

"Hey, wait, uh, maybe I could… Or we could come with you" said the boy in the cap.

"Ooh, I don't know. My friends are pretty intense. How old you guys say you are?" asked the red-haired girl.

"We're 13, so, technically a teen," said the Dipper.

"And I'm 13 in a few weeks" said the wizard bot.

"All right. I like your moxie, kids. Let me get my stuff," said Wendy.

"Since when are we 13? Is this a leap year?" asked Mabel.

"Wait, so you're not 13?" asked the young wizard.

"No, we're 13 on August 28, at the end of the summer" replied the girl in the sweater.

"So, you lied?" asked Finn.

"Come on, guys. This is our chance to hang go out with, you know, the cool kids… And Wendy and whatever" said the boy in the cap.

"I knew it! You love her! Love, love, love, love, love!" said Mabel, shouting with enthusiasm.

"Oh, hey, what's that?" asked Dipper, trying to trick his sister. She turned her back on him, trying to see what was going on. The boy in the cap took his chance and pushed his hair to the front of her body, causing her mouth to be full of hair.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Dipper?" asked the wizard boy.

"Finn, come on. This is a chance for us to be part of a cool gang. Don't you think this is awesome?" asked Dipper. The young sorcerer sighed, seeing that his friend was really desperate to go.

"Okay, but we have to be very careful" said the young sorcerer, afraid to disappoint his friend.

Outside the Shack, Wendy's friends were having fun, trying to hit jellybeans on one of them.

"Wendy!" said the 5 friends, excited to see their friend, who had hit the candy right in the navel of the boy they were targeting.

"Hey, guys, these are my pals from work, Mabel, Dipper, Finn, and his cat, Mr. Starry Night," said the red-haired girl.

"I chewed my gum so it looks like a brain" said the girl in the sweater, sticking out her tongue, showing the gum.

"She's not much for first impressions, unlike this guy!" said the boy in the cap, trying to impress the teenagers, however, they kept looking with neutral faces, not even caring much.

"And I'm Finn. It's a pleasure to meet you all" said Finn, nervous, extending his hand for a handshake. Once again, the teenagers stood silent.

"Oh, you guys don't like handshakes. Okay" said the wizard boy, lowering his hand, feeling embarrassed.

"So, are you, like, babysitting or..." said one of the teenagers, in a very offensive tone.

"Come on, Robbie. Guys, this is Lee, Nate, Tambry, Thompson, who once ate a run-over waffle for fifty cents and Robbie. You can probably figure him out" said Wendy, introducing her friends.

"Yeah, I'm the guy who spray-painted the water tower," said Robbie. He had very dark hair, piercings, wore a sweatshirt full of patches and had a rebel aura.

"Oh, you mean the big muffin" said Dipper cheerfully.

"Um, it's a giant explosion" Robbie said, very annoyed. When everyone turned to the water tank, they saw that it really looked like a giant muffin.

"Kind of does look like a muffin" said one of the teenagers, causing the others to laugh, making Robbie very angry with the boy in the cap.

"Let's hurry it up, guys. I got big plans for tonight, huh?" said the red-haired girl, calling everyone to get in the car. Finn, Mabel, and Dipper had to stay in the back seat because they were children. Mr. Starry stood on the owner's lap.

In the car, the driver had an important message to say.

"Okay, just, before we go, my mom said you guys aren't allowed to punch the roof anymore, so…" said Thompson.

"Thompson! Thompson! Thompson!" said the teenagers, punching the ceiling as a joke, making the driver sad. Then the car started to move.

Dipper was biting one of his pens that he used to bite. When Mabel saw this, she took the pen and used it to cross out an old message that was written on the car door. She crossed out the phrase 'You stink!' and wrote 'You look nice today'.

"Ha ha! This is gonna blow someone's mind, isn't it, Finn?" said the girl in the sweater to the boy wizard, who was beside her.

"Yes, it is, I think" said the young sorcerer, not paying much attention to his friend. He seemed a little bit worried.

"Finn, are you okay? You seem to be a little bit… stressed" said Mabel, seeing her friend's face.

"It's just that I am not exactly sure if we should really be here. I mean, we are not even sure where we are going" Finn whispered.

"Chill, Finn. They have done things like this before. It's just teen stuff" said Dipper, trying to calm his friend down.

"Guess you are right…" said the young sorcerer, with not that much confidence.

The wizard boy tried to relax, and believe on what his friend was saying, but a part of him still felt unsure about this all. When he looked to see what his cat had to say, he noticed he was not the only one to feel like this.

He just stayed there, silent, as he tilted his head in a more comfortable position to see if he could get at least a little less stressed.

Arriving at the place, Finn got even more worried when he found out what the plan was. The fact that it was already dark also contributed.

"Wait, so we're going to break into an abandoned convenience store?!" asked the wizard boy, nervous.

"It's not just a regular abandoned convenience store. It the condemned dusk-to-dawn. They closed it when the owners died. It's been haunted ever since," said Wendy.

"This town has such a colorful history!" said the girl in the sweater.

"What? Are… Are you guys serious?" asked the boy in the cap, starting to worry.

"Yeah. We're gonna die" said the red-haired girl, feigning terror. "Chill out, man. It's not as bad as it looks," said the red-haired girl. The sign saying that whoever trespassed the fence, however, said the opposite.

After everyone had crossed, only the young wizard was missing.

"Finn, aren't you coming?" asked Wendy.

"I'm on my way, I just need a stone," said Finn. After searching a little more, he found the stone he needed. The wizard boy climbed on top of the rock, holding his cat, levitated it and crossed it to the other side of the fence, like a kind of elevator, leaving the teenagers very impressed, except Robbie, who was angry with the wizard boy for attracting more attention than him.

"Ho ho ho! This place is amazing" said the red-haired girl, looking out the window.

"I think it's… It's stuck" said Robbie, trying to open the door.

"Let me and Finn take a crack at it," said Dipper.

"Oh, yeah. I can't get in, but I'm sure the juniors here are gonna break it down like Hercules" Robbie said, in a mocking tone.

"Come on, leave them alone. They're just two little kids" said Wendy, making the boy in the cap a little sad.

"Finn, you can use that spell you used on that temple's door here, right?" asked Dipper, in a determined tone.

"Yes, I can, but, Dipper, isn't that an invasion? Maybe it would be better if we go back and have a quiet night with your grunkle?" asked the wizard boy.

"Finn, please. If you don't, we will be seen as kids. Don't you want to be cool" asked the boy in the cap.

"All right. I think that one night won't hurt" said the wizard boy, after a long sigh. "Clavis leporem" he said, causing the door to magically open. The group, once again, was amazed. Everyone started to enter the store.

"Nice work" said the red-haired girl, as she entered.

"See, Finn. They are starting to like us. Isn't that amazing?!" asked Dipper.

"If you and Mabel are happy, that's enough for me" replied the young wizard. Then, the two entered the store. Before, however, the sign that said 'Open', magically turned to the side that said 'Closed'.

Inside the store, the group had split up, and they were taking about the opportunity to explore the place. Finn, however, was feeling a weird aura in the place.

"Get out of here... You are not welcome... You will pay... intruders" said a low voice that only the wizard boy heard.

"Guys, did you hear anything?" asked the young wizard.

"I didn't hear anything. Your probably just imagining things," said Wendy. "Guys, check it out! You think they still work?" she asked when she found several switches. Pressing them, she turned on the lights and the security cameras.

"So, what are we gonna do now?" asked the boy in the cap.

"Anything we want" replied the red-haired girl.

Even though the twins quickly joined the teens to do whatever they wanted, the young sorcerer stood there, still feeling that something was weird in the place. His cat felt the same.

"Okay, I know this might sound strange, but I think we should see if there is anything wrong with this place" said Finn, whispering to his cat, that quickly nodded back.

While the other teens were throwing all the kind of foods at each other, like a snowball war, the wizard boy grabbed a cereal box, detecting a weird aura coming from the object.

When he opened it, he saw just cereal inside of it, but, soon after, they became creepy spiders with glowing green wyes. The young sorcerer immediately dropped it into the floor. However, as soon as he did it, all of the spiders disappeared. The young sorcerer and his cat exchanged worried glances.

Soon after, the group grabbed a bottle of soda to do that experiment involving mints that ended up in an explosion. While they were doing it, Finn grabbed another bottle that he also felt a weird aura.

At first, the bottle seemed to be normal, but he noticed that the bubbles on the soda, he noticed they were getting bigger and bigger, until one of them became a skull. Soon after, it dissipated into smaller bubbles.

The wizard boy only needed one more proof to be sure that there were ghosts on the store. He felt the same weird aura coming from an ice storage. When he opened it, he saw the most evident proof that he could have. He saw a floating brain with eyes looking directly at him.

The young sorcerer quickly threw a magic ray at it, and the brain disappeared. He knew exactly what to do now. He needed to tell the twins.

The rest of the group had completely messed the store while Finn was searching for ghost signs. The guys were pranking each other with ice, Tambry was on her cellphone, Mabel had eaten a little too much smile dip and Dipper and Wendy were eating popsicles.

"Dipper, I need to talk to you!" said the wizard boy.

"Are you sure Finn? What is this…" said Dipper, been interrupted.

"No time!" said the young sorcerer, dragging his friend to the corner Mabel was eating her candies.

"Finn, what was that? Why you seem to be so worried?" asked the boy with a cap, confused by his friend's actions.

"Okay, this might sound strange, but I need to tell you two. Mabel, Dipper, I am sure that this store is haunted," said Finn.

"Why do you think that there would be ghosts here?" asked Dipper, confused by his friend's assumptions.

"Well, us wizards have the ability of detecting aura. Aura is something that all creatures, magical or not, have, like animals, humans and so on. Using my magic, I can detect auras" said the wizard boy, creating magical projections of some random animals and humans.

"And, just like all the rest, I can detect ghost auras. And, from the moment we stepped here, I felt ghosts. After searching for more signs, I am sure to say that there are ghosts here, and we need to get out as soon as possible!" said the young sorcerer, finishing the projection. The boy with cap, however, didn't seem to believe in anything that his friend said.

"Finn are you sure that there are really ghosts here? I mean, it's not like you haven't made a mistake before," said Dipper.

"Look, I know my powers can sometimes fail, but this time, I am sure" said Finn. The boy with cap still didn't seem that much convinced.

"Come on, Finn, everyone's fine. Just relax" said the boy with cap, walking away. Mr. Starry Night glared at him.

The wizard boy, however, was still determined to convince at least one of his friends that there were ghosts on the place.

"Mabel, you trust in me and my powers, right?" asked the young sorcerer. However, he didn't receive an answer.

"Mabel? Are you okay?" asked Finn, turning around to see his friend's state. When he saw her, he was surprised to see she didn't seem that awake, a result of the smile dip.

"A fairytale prince has come to rescue me!" said the girl with a sweater, looking at Finn, who blushed a little at what the girl said.

"It seems that we are alone in this one. We need to make a plan to take everyone out of this store before the situation get worse" said the wizard boy. However, he suddenly noticed that he needed to do something really important for humans. He needed to pee.

"First, I think I need to go to the bathroom" said the young sorcerer, running to go to the bathroom, being followed by his cat.

After Finn finished what he needed to do in the stall, he went to the sink so that he could wash his hands. The bathroom of the place was just like any other public bathroom you can think about.

As he washed his hands in the sink, he started to talk to his cat, trying to make a plan.

"Okay, we need to get everyone out of this place. But none of them believes in us, and Mabel is a little bit delusional with that whole smile dip thing. How can we prove that there are ghosts here to them?" said the wizard boy. Meanwhile, even though he didn't notice, his reflection in the mirror started to change. His years were pointy and his teeth sharp. Mr. Starry Night noticed.

"Maybe we could scary them pretending to be ghosts. No, it doesn't seem something that nice to do. Maybe we could tease the ghosts so they could something scary. Forget it, that would probably make things worse" said the young sorcerer, still not seeing what was happening with the mirror.

"Meow!" said Mr. Starry Night, biting Finn's pants, trying to make him see what was happening in the mirror.

"Mr. Starry Night, what's the problem?" asked the wizard boy, looking at his pat. Mr. Starry Night answered by glancing at the mirror. When the young sorcerer looked at the mirror, he understood why the cat was so scared. His reflection was looking at them like a beast, with completely point years, teeth as sharp as the ones of a beast, a tail coming from the reflections back, and blue flames behind him.

"No. No! NO!" said the young sorcerer, walking away from the mirror, moving backwards, still looking at his reflection, been full of horror at what he was looking at.

"This is not possible. Not possible!" said Finn, still looking at the reflection. He stopped walking away and grabbed his spell book.

"This is just an illusion! Sana impetum!" screamed the wizard boy, throwing a sound spell at the mirror, shattering it in a lot of pieces.

The young sorcerer felt to his knees, since he felt tired by the whole intensity of the moment. He checked to make sure his ears weren't like the ones in the mirror and that he didn't have a tail, and, fortunately for him, it was truly just part of the illusion.

"Thanks, Lunario, it's still the same" said Finn, feeling relief. However, before he could do anything else, the shards of the mirror started to float and approach each other.

Mr. Starry Night and the wizard boy just stood there, trying to understand what was going to happen. They wanted to run away from the bathroom, but the shards were joining each other right in front of the door.

When the transformation ended, the shards have become a giant monster, entirely made of the glass from the mirror. His face was similar to the one of lizards, his eyes were completely empty, and his mouth was full of sharp teeth made from the shards.

"Vandal!" screamed the monster, running to attack the young sorcerer. Finn quickly used magic to make bigger arms, so that he could stop the monster. The cat quickly grew and pushed the creature away from his owner.

"Stop this! We can talk. Solve this peacefully" said the wizard boy, trying to calm the monster. His opponent, however, didn't want to listen, and once more, tried to attack the young sorcerer, this time, however, throwing shards at him.

Finn created a magical shield to protect him and his cat from this shard, while he tried to think about something he could do to stop him. He believed he probably had no chances of defeating this creature, so, running away was his best option.

"It's time to stick him in one of the walls" said the wizard boy, grabbing his spell book, while trying his best to keep the shield. "Mega gum bulla" said the young sorcerer, sticking the monster to the wall, using a magical glue.

"We need to go now! I don't know how much this spell can handle it" said Finn, trying to leave the place. However, in the exact moment he would leave, the place literally turned upside-down, making the monster free himself from the glue.

The mirror monster was even more enraged than before and went back to attacking the wizard boy. The young sorcerer quickly created another force field to protect the two.

"Okay, I to destroy this monster once and for all. But for this, I will need to use that combo" said Finn, closing his eyes and breathing to relax. He focused some magic and opened his eyes.

"Ignis insectum" said the wizard boy, creating a magical firefly. "Scopum perfectus!" the young sorcerer screamed, quickly dissipating the force field to throw the firefly at the monster.

The firefly approached the monster, and this time, it finally seemed to hit the right spot, and Finn remade the force field to protect him and his cat.

When the spell hit, a large explosion happened, and the monster exploded in even more shards than before. This time, the wizard boy was sure that there was no one of the opponent regenerating.

"Time to leave this bathroom and save my friends!" said the young sorcerer, leaving the bathroom in a hurry.

When Finn and Mr. Starry Night arrived at the store, they were surprised by what they saw, Mabel was floating with glowing eyes, and the entire place was a mess of objects that were floating in the air.

As he walked a little a bit more, searching for any sign of the rest of the group, the two, were grabbed by a pair of hands, and dragged to a hiding place.

"Finn, you are okay!" said Dipper surprised that his friend was fine.

"Finn, you are not going to believe this, but, this place is haunted!" said Wendy.

"Yeah, I know. If someone had listened to me, this wouldn't have happened" said the wizard boy, glaring at the boy with a cap.

"Okay, I am sorry, but now, we need to defeat this ghosts" said Dipper. The young sorcerer sighed.

"Well, ghosts always have a reason. We can start finding out a pattern," said Finn.

"I know, and I already tried, but I haven't seen pattern. Tambry was texting, Thompson was playing a video game, Lee was being sarcastic; it doesn't make any sense!" said the boy with a cap.

"Yeah! I mean, those are all just normal teenage things," said the red-haired girl. This moment, something clicked for the two boys.

"Wendy, say that last part again" asked Dipper.

"Normal teenage things?" said Wendy, with a little bit of hesitance in her voice.

"Of course! Stay here until I get back!" said the boy with a cap, crawling out of the freezer.

"Dude, what are you doing?!" asked the red-haired girl, worried about the boy.

"Hey ghost!" said Dipper, already out of the freezer, and dragging the attention of the ghost, who started to levitate him.

"I've got something to tell you! I'm not a teenager!" said the boy with a cap. At hearing this, all of the objects fell, Dipper was put down and the ghosts freed Mabel from their control. The ghosts were an elderly couple, with name tags written 'Pa' and 'Ma'.

"Well why didn't you say so?" said Pa, releasing Mabel's hair, which made her fall.

"How old did you say you were?" asked Pa. Dipper hesitated for a few minutes, looking at Wendy for a few seconds.

"I'm twelve, technically not a teen" said the boy with a cap.

"When we were alive, teenagers were a scourge on our store!" said Ma, starting to explain their past.

"Always sassafrassin' costumers with their boomy boxes and disrespectful short pants! So we decided to up and ban them! But they retaliated with this new fangled rap music" said the other ghost.

"The lyrics, they were so, hateful! It was so shocking, we were stricken down with double heart attacks!" said the female ghost, finishing the story.

"That's why we hate teenagers so much! Don't we, honey?" said Ma, nuzzling with her husband.

"But they're my friends, isn't there anything I can do to, help them?" asked Dipper.

"There is one thing. Do you know any funny little dances?" asked Pa. Dipper knew about a dance, but he would prefer doing anything else to this song.

"Uh... is there anything else I can do?" asked the boy with a cap.

"NOOOO!" said Pa, turning red and lighting himself on fire.

"OKAY OKAY OKAY! Um... Well, I do know... the Lamby Lamby Dance. Bu-but I can't really do it, without a lamb costume!" said Dipper, thinking about an excuse to not dance. Pa, just by snapping her singers, gave him his costume.

"Oh, well... there it is. Wellll..." said the boy with a cap, being interrupted by his friend.

"Dipper, wait!" said Finn, leaving their hiding place, leaving his friend surprised. He snapped his finger and brought his owl costume.

"I am not gonna let you do this alone. If you are going to do something embarrassing, so am I" said the wizard boy.

"Finn, you don't have to. This is my fault" said Dipper.

"Dipper, you are my friend. And friends are always there to help. So, I am going to help, like you or not," said the young sorcerer. After a while, the boy with a cap nodded.

"Who wants a Lamby lamby lamby? I do! I do! So go up and greet your Mammy mammy mammy! Hi there! Hi there! So march march march around the daisies..." said the boy with a cap, singing the song, while dancing.

Meanwhile, Finn was walking around, saying 'Hoot', pretending to be an owl.

"Yes, Yes! More! MORE!" said Pa, enjoying the show.

"Don't don't don't you forget about the babies!" said Dipper, finishing the song. At the same time, the wizard boy stopped to pretend to be an owl.

"That was so fine, girly dancin' boy and bird boy! Your friends are free" said Pa.

"Well I don't think you have to worry about us coming back, so..." said Dipper, on his normal, clothes, being interrupted by the sudden disappearance of the ghost couple.

With the couple disappearing, everything went back to normal, and everyone fell back to the floor.

"Ugghh... I'm never gonna eat or do anything ever again" said Mabel, finally regaining conscience.

"Hey! There's still some left!" said the boy with cap, picking up a package of Smile Dip.

"EVIL!" said the girl with a sweater.

"What-what happened after everything went crazy?" asked Lee, to Wendy.

"You are not going to believe it! The ghosts appeared, and Dipper had to..." said the red-haired girl, stopping when she noticed that Dipper was pleading silently for her to stop.

"Uh, and uh, Dipper just grabbed a bat, and just started beating ghosts down, left and right, and the ghost got all scared, and ran away like a couple of little girls, it was insane! And that's not even the best part, Finn used some pretty scary spells and threatened them to never return!" said Wendy, lying about the rest of the story to not embarrass the boy with a cap, leaving the other teens surprised.

"Alright! Dr. Funtimes!" said Nate. At this moment, the red-haired girl turned to her friend and zipped her lips. Dipper did the same.

Meanwhile, the wizard boy was taking care of his friend.

"Mabel are you okay now?" asked the young sorcerer.

"Kind of, but my head is killing me" answered the girl with a sweater, using her friend as support to walk.

"I have a potion that can heal headaches on my shelf" said Finn.

"Thanks, Finn. You are the best," said Mabel, still a little bit tired.

As soon as they left the store, the whole group entered the van, and started to sleep. Finn, Mabel and Mr. Starry Night were in the back. At this moment, Dipper finally arrived.

"Hey, Finn, I wanted to say that I am sorry. I should have listened to you" said the boy with a cap.

"It's okay, it's not the first time someone underestimate me" said the wizard boy.

"Still, you are now part of the team. I should listen to you more. You are really talented, and clearly can do more than me in some things. Reason why, I want to ask you a favor," said Dipper.

"A favor? Which kind?" asked the young sorcerer.

"Have you ever noticed that I always carry this journal with me? Well, he is not technically mine. A mysterious author has written it, and there is no signs of who could be. This is why I need someone to help me track him. And you said you have tracking powers using your aura" answered the boy with a cap.

"And you want me to use my aura tracking ability to find him, right?" asked Finn, receiving a nod as answer.

"And can we keep this between the three of us? Besides Mabel, no one else really knows that much about the journal," said Dipper.

"Do you really think I am that trust-worthy?" asked the wizard boy.

"Finn, you basically became my brother now. And, after today, I am sure that I can trust you" answered the boy with a cap.

"Don't worry. You can count on me. I am going to find at least something about this author," said the young sorcerer.

Author's note: This was the chapter. I know you guys might think it's a little bit rushed to say that Dipper sees Finn as a brother, but, come on, the boy has been leaving with him and his sister for a long time, and they already passed through some stuff.

Next Chapter will be "Mystery Bros", where our nerd duo will try to find more about the author of the journal.
