*First off: I tried to add more spaces between stanzas, but FFN wouldn't let me! So sorry about that!*

A lot of Alberto's lines in the show broke me in a way that I did not expect! I just finished watching Luca again, and I thought of this 'poem' thing while focusing intently on Alberto. It's sort of like a POV while silently studying my beautiful boy, Alberto. (I love him so much T-T)

As I watched

tears fall from your eyes,

painting purple lines on your

cheeks,

I found myself thinking,

wondering:

how deep do your lilac rivers

go?

Just under the skin,

or all the way to the heart?

Carving through

feelings and thoughts until

there is nothing

left?

Or are your salty rivers like

gouges on a stone wall,

hidden by a poster of

fantasies?

Does your current pull you

to find things and fix things,

because they are physical to

hold?

Touching your trinkets and toys,

smearing them with purple

you take from your heart,

like your own blood.

You were so quick to leave

the ocean's silent embrace,

for the world above filled with

noise.

The noise hides out everything,

like a layer of cloth over your eyes,

and if you try hard enough,

it can wipe up the splashes of purple.

Is that why you like gravity,

my indigo friend?

Because it's only demand is that

you fall?

But you have already

fallen so far, so you

decide:

why stop now?

I watch you dry your eyes,

wiping away your masterpiece

of grief,

And I learn:

we all rivers of purple,

and canvases painted with

loss.

I was skeptical when I first watched this movie, but it completely shattered me! I was sobbing by the end of it, and I've now re-watched it so many times, I've lost count! This was such a beautiful film, with it's artwork, plot, relationships, and characters, this has (without a doubt) become one of my most favorite movies of all time!

Anyways, let me know what you thought! (I know it's not like a traditional poem standard; I was just playing around with words and writing styles)
