Folks...
First of all, hello. I'm still alive and doing well.
Secondly, if the people following this story still have the same e-mail, they'll probably be terribly confused for seeing an abandoned story from 2014 having an update. You might also be wondering what in the world this story was about lol.
So no, this story does not really have an 'update' so to speak. I was going through my old fanfiction stories, trying to see the differences of how I was writing back then and how I'm writing now and I came across this. I was very surprised to read it, I had entirely forgotten writing it; and apparently, I hadn't even published it!
So, I thought I should publish it now... it's a shame to let it be in the dark.
But no no no, the story is not going to continue. In fact, the following was a dream that Hibari had in chapter 22. I decided not to edit the text at all.
By the way, if you wish to keep following me for future writings, I don't write fanfiction stories anymore, but I occasionally write short stories with my OCs (or just short stories in general). I have a tumblr; if you'd like it please send me a PM and I'll respond back to you with it. Thanks for reading.
'Is this right?'
Even though the question passed through Hibari's mind, the answer didn't really matter.
Is this reality? Is it a dream? He couldn't care less...
The Cloud Guardian had let his hands fall freely on his left and right, as if a wide open embrace while lying supinely on the bed. In the end he didn't care... He really didn't.
The Italian boy landed his lips on the other's neck, slowly moving towards his torso. Their fully clothed bodies felt naked in front of these emotions. Their countless problems felt meaningless while encountering the power of love.
And all these rules this confused boy was so desperately trying to follow-
"Everything is empty."
He uttered dumbfounded, yet Gokudera didn't pause his kissing.
Hibari knew this was a dream. It was the sweet scent of serenity that gave it away; the overwhelming gap in his heart being filled with the other's soft touch completed his realization. It was a dream. Nothing more that that. Nothing less...
"I love you..."
The words echoed in his ears as he listened to Gokudera saying them. Or was it himself...? A fantasy he easily slipped in the bomber's mouth...
"I love you."
He repeated, hearing better the tone of his own voice.
...This dream was incomplete.
"Kiss me."
The raven haired boy didn't hesitate spelling and Gokudera, with not the slightest delay, gave a peck on the other's lips.
"Deeper..."
The Cloud Guardian continued, a smile drawn on the younger's face.
And a deep kiss he received. Candles burning, sweet essence in the air, the moon and the sun being absent from their moment, all sounds silent.
No, not all sounds. He could hear...
"Thump-thump-thump..."
It felt as if he was creating the sounds with his tongue, his chest being united with the other's, soft beats, soft sounds and an overpowering numbness...
Soft, gentle, quiet... As if he could smell the letters, Hibari was euphoric while love was whispered in the air. He didn't believe in God but blessing was all he could feel at that moment.
Bad emotions and dead regrets that couldn't manage to touch him; they all seemed so weak, so foolish, so useless... Everything was meaningless...
Everything was meaningless without him.
Emerald and blue orbs met and in a magical, wonderful, significant moment everything felt right. Everything was right. The ticks of the clock he couldn't hear felt right, his naked heart he couldn't see felt right, this bed, this room, hotel, this sky... Everything felt right.
The clouds were where they were supposed to be and even if there weren't any and the sky was bright blue, then it would be right once more.
Everything was right. This love... This oxygen... The way they had twisted their legs around each other. Everything was right.
"Haya! Haya!"
The bird's voice was piercing in his ears, but the bird didn't exist in his dream. He was going to wake up... He knew he was, yet...
'Everything feels right...'
He pondered, knowing that he was going to open his eyes and see his face.
'This love... This feeling is right...'
He deemed while smiling and as he opened his eyes he saw his surprised roommate, his unexpected love looking at him in a daze.
"You taught it my name..."
Gokudera murmured bewildered and the smile on his face caused Hibari's lips to move upwards as well.
"It's not completed yet..."
He responded and his chest felt relieved; as if his heart had escaped from his body, the Cloud Guardian felt free... He felt love... He felt alive.
Such magic... As if a witch had casted a godlike experience to his mind, the color of the Italian boy's voice painted his aura indigo and sky blue. The ugly characteristics of their room looked like sorcerous verdure in his eyes and this beautiful emerald color that was looking at him so surprised... This beautiful emerald element... His mind being enchanted.
Everything was right.
Everything was how it was supposed to be.
'Let me love you even more.'
The young enamored boy requested from the depths of his soul.
For this rightful, meaningful emptiness was all he wanted to feel.
It's all he ever needed.
