It was the same day when Kotaru's dad requested Kotaru to helped him out to test his Virtual Chamber, Kotaru's keep fighting out every enemy that appeared virtually in the chamber, the enemies has so many lines in their bodies and that's because they were spawned virtually by the chamber itself. He uses his racket in his hand and use them like a sword to slash through them one by one, not only that he even tried to use his power too but he keep it minimum because he can't always rely on his power too since he need to charge up his energy to it's max to release a way more powerful attack from his artifact on the glove of his right hand.

"Man this training chamber really make me sweating so hard." Kotaru amazed, then asked his dad "Hey dad, how long should I keep fighting these things anyway?"

"If I count correctly, you should continue for 15 minutes and you can stop there and that should give us enough time to give us a good amount of data." His dad answer while try to predict the amount of time for gathering the data.

"Allright then, let's finish this faster than" Kotaru jumped to continue fighting the enemies again.

While all of this happened, his friends and His mom watching on the spectator room to make sure that his dad didn't get disturbed while controlling the chamber amazed at how Kotaru's fighting the virtual creatures that summoned there.

"Wow Hikari-san sure fighting those guys back to back." Uiharu amazed by how many enemies that Kotaru have beaten.

"True, I feel like he enjoy it too." Saten mused

"Of course he enjoys it, he rarely haven't fight so sometimes he's bored especially he doesn't always fight someone stronger or even match with him because there is the time he scared that his power could kill someone." Kotaru's mom giggled.

"Hmm I've been thinking that maybe Hikari-san should fight Misaka-san sometimes." Uiharu saying while thinking about it "Or he might could have a match with Shirai-san here considering that this chamber apparently has a regenerative function to fix everything that got destroyed inside the chamber."

"Ah so he become friends with the third ranked level 5 too. Well I'm proud that he has some friends." Her mother is happy that he has made some friends especially one of them is the strongest esper. "Both of you must be happy to have Misaka-san and Kotaru as your friend and would like to protect you."

"Yeah we do." Saten and uiharu replied.

"But," Saten continued looking down with a bit of sad smile "Sometimes I feel like I'm so useless to helped both of them. Hikari-san has a power to use 3 elements, Misaka-san is the strongest electro master in this city, Shirai san is the level 4 teleporter and Uiharu is the greatest hacker in judgement and meanwhile me, I don't have an ability or anything to be proud of."

"Don't be like that sweetie," Kotaru's mom reach her head using her right hand and pat her "Everyone will have their time to have something to be proud of. It's only a matter of time that will come to you. Nobody in this world were strong, power isn't the only one that matters. What would you do if you have a power but you weren't able to use it to protect anyone that you love?"

"That's…" Saten was speechless unable to answered that.

"Yep, you will be hurt by it not physically but emotionally because you can't protect them." Kotaru's mom answered the long hair girl beside her and continued, "Everyone can protect each other, even though there is the time something so sudden happen and the one that you need to protect got hurt, you just don't can't find the right time to do it."

"I see…" Saten then smiled because she feel cheered up a little bit "Thanks Hisumi-san, I need that."

"Good!" Hisumi give her a smile too. After all of that both of them focused to see how Kotaru's doing in the chamber fighting against the enemy that appears. While the girls and her mother watch the scene in the spectator room, Saten still thinking what his mom said and remembers about when she got kicked by the robber and Kotaru catch her before her back touch the ground, after that she still remember the worried face that Kotaru show to her. Remembering what happened makes Saten started to have a warm feeling inside her and make her blushed.

For some reason, Uiharu suddenly look at her best friend see that her best friend has her cheeks redden. Uiharu investigate what happened to her friend as soon as she finally understand what happen, she saw an opportunity to tease her friend, but she take that aside for now and try to keep watching Kotaru fighting.

After a few moments, the test finally ended. Kokoro call out his son from the control room saying "Allright son that's enough for today, we got a good amount of data now. After this your mom and dad will go investigate the data that we finally got from you, so you can go now son, you don't want to miss your curfew."

"Allright then dad, call me again when you need my help." Kotaru say while he approaching the exit door.

After that, Kotaru greeted by his friend that's watching him from the spectator room with an amazed face show to him. They immediately take their bag, say goodbye to Kotaru's parents and started to leave the lab.

After a few minutes walking on the street, Kotaru split up with the girls because he wanted to buy some groceries and start fly to the grocery shop. After they split up, Uiharu finally see a chance to finally talked to her friend beside her and with a teasing tone and a wide smile she teased her "Hey Saten-san, do you have a crush on Hikari-san?"

Saten that still drinking her juice on her bag spit her drink because of her question "Don't asked me that question out of blue and why did you think I have a crush on him?"

"Well, when I looked at you when we watching Kotaru inside the chamber, your cheeks start redden and you feel something warm inside you so I really think that you started thinking about Hikari-san right?" Uiharu asked her friend.

"…" Saten face started to become crimson red.

Uiharu chuckled seeing her best friend like this, she never see her friend expression like this but she gave her an advice "You should be honest with your feeling Saten-san, when at a certain moment you start to feel brave, confess to him at one time okay?"

Saten looked at her, thinking about what happen to her feelings. She started to figured it out and finally learned that it make sense to her, She looked at Uiharu with a warm smile and replied "Yeah, maybe I will." Then all of a sudden, she flipped Uiharu skirt "Ahhh so you wear pink stripes today."

"SATEN-SAN!" Uiharu screamed to her friend.

I gotta say making original chapter is quite hard especially when I make this chapter I have to remake the story because I feel like the story didn't do good. Well, see you in the next chapter.
