At the same day, after Kotaru, Saten, and Uiharu got out from the school, they met Misaka along the way to the seventh mist. When all of them has gathered together, Kotaru asked the girls what's the plan to to The Seven Mist because Saten haven't told him what's their plan to go there when Saten invited Kotaru when both of them had lunch together on the roof when they have a lunch break. The girls told him that they were planning to buy some clothes for them which made Kotaru want to go somewhere because he didn't want to be called a pervert on his class so he tried to make an excuse to go have something important to do on his dad's lab but Saten is holding his hand make sure he didn't go anywhere especially he had agreed to go with them. All Kotaru could do is to give up let the fate decide.
After they get inside the mall, they take the escalator to the next floor with Saten already go ahead of them leading to the underwear section. Seeing this, Kotaru looked away try not to witness anything. He heard Saten showed one of the underwear she picked for Uiharu then he heards that Uiharu denies it so hard which Kotaru knew it's something that Uiharu doesn't like to wear.
"You could show them off to people when I lift your skirt" Saten smirked "Right?"
Uiharu Shook her head while replied, "Absolutely not! And please don't lift my skirt again."
"I can't believe that she says it like it's normal to her." Misaka muttered.
"Oh you don't know half of it Misaka" Kotaru shrugged turn around and start walking towards them.
"Well that's too bad." Saten put the underwear to it's original place again with Misaka and Kotaru approach them. Saten then look at Misaka and asked "Hey Misaka-san, is there something you would like to look for?"
Misaka then put her finger on the chin saying "Hmm what do I need…" Then she remembered "Ah, I would like to get some pajamas."
"Ah! They're this way!" Uiharu exclaimed, eager to show them the way gesturing to the west section of the clothing department. Kotaru, Saten, and Misaka followed Uiharu that was ahead of them with Kotaru and Saten walk side by side and Misaka behind them.
"You know, I've been looking around in this area before, but I didn't find anything that catches my eyes." After she says that, she saw a light pink shade pajamas with a colorful flower design in it. "It's soo cuute." She called out her friends excitedly and then saying "Check this out! Isn't this really cute –" Misaka paused mid-sentence by Saten's word saying to Uiharu and Kotaru how childish that pajama really is with Uiharu agreed as well saying that she wear something like that when she was in elementary school, but she thinks it would be embarrassing to wear something like that when she was in a middle school.
Misaka then interrupted them nervously to make sure not to embarrassed herself saying, "You're right, this kind of pajamas isn't suitable for middle Schoolers isn't it?" she faked a cough and continued "yep, definitely not!"
Kotaru knew that by her reaction, Misaka want to get this pajama, but with the other 2 girls say this pajama is childish, she can't bring herself to get it. There is a moment of an awkward silent, then Saten decide to break the silent saying "Ah that reminds me! I'm going to look for some swimsuits! My previous one is too small now!"
"The swimsuits are over there!" Uiharu gestured to the corner, "I'll come with you!"
"Misaka-san, Kotaru-kun, wanna come with us?" Saten asked.
"No, you two go ahead, I'll catch up with both of you later." Misaka said calmly
"What about you Kotaru-kun?" Saten asked her new crush.
"Absolutely not!" Kotaru denied hardly "I don't want anyone to see me there and think that I'm a pervert."
"Haha okay-okay, let's go Uiharu." After that, both Uiharu and saten moved off to the direction of swimsuit section.
After Uiharu and Saten is already out of Kotaru and Misaka hearing range, Kotaru look at Misaka while saying "I know you want to wear this pajama Misaka-san, you better hurry before both of them come back here!" Kotaru suggested.
Misaka can't deny it knowing Kotaru he could read people sometimes, so she replied "Alright then Hikari-san, I won't let the chance slide away!" With that, Misaka grabbed the pajamas, jumping in front of the mirror to see the view of it in front of her, but she heard a familiar voice from behind her.
"What are you doing Biri-Biri?" Misaka looked at the reflection and she saw that Touma was standing behind her.
Misaka become panicked and turn around looked at him stammered "W-Why in the world are you here?" She didn't expect that Touma is there.
"Am I not allowed to be here?" Touma fired back.
"Oni-chaan!" Touma looked to the right seeing a dark brown hair twintail little girl approach them.
The girl looked at Touma before she turned her head to the right look at Misaka and Misaka looked at her as well, when the girl realized who she was, the little girl exclaimed "Ah! Tokiwadai onee-chan is here too!"
Misaka then realised the girl as well. Then she said "Ah, you're the little girl from yesterday!" as soon as she said that, something snapped on her mind and look at Touma asking him "Onii-chan? You have a little sister?"
"You're wrong," Touma replied her, "She's looking for a clothes store so I'm taking her here."
"Helping people as usual eh senpai?" Kotaru said to Touma know how he is.
"Emm, Onii-chan take me here." The little girl exclaimed, "I want to wear a stylish clothes like the people in the television."
"Ah I see." Misaka said while patted the little girl's head and continued "Your clothes were already stylish and cute though."
"Unlike someone that wears shorts." Touma added slyly, which made Kotaru snorted and use his right hand to hold his laugh.
"Why you!" Misaka replied back angrily and continued, "Let's settle our business here once and for all!"
"Is your brain only thinking that?" Touma asked mockingly then sighed.
"Besides, this isn't a good place to be used as a battlefield with this many people around here." Kotaru added.
Then the little girl pull his shirt saying "Onii-chan, I wanna look around there!" she gesture her hand to the east.
Touma looked at her and said "Alright then." Touma started to walk away leaving Kotaru and Misaka.
The little girl walk backwards waving her hands to Kotaru and Misaka saying "Bye Onee-chan, and the other Onii-chan!"
Misaka and Kotaru happily waved her back. After a few moments, Kotaru saw Misaka formed her hands into a fists on her right hand and her left hand, then she realized the pajama she's holding on her right hand and put it back to the table where she picked it.
Saten and Uiharu started to walk towards them after they gone to the swimsuit section, then Saten asked Misaka "Is something wrong?"
Misaka shook her head and replied saying "It's nothing.."
Kotaru then added "Kamijou-senpai just got here meeting both of us for a moment." Kotaru informed his friends, "He's showing a little girl around, maybe he will meet us later."
After that, Misaka excused herself want to use the restroom for a while, leaving Kotaru, Saten, and Uiharu.
After Misaka went out of range, Uiharu use this oppoturnity to asked Kotaru and Saten, she asked both of them "Hey Hikari-san, Saten-san, are you both on a relationship already?"
After Uiharu finished the Question, Kotaru and Saten take an air spit and blushing at what Uiharu just said. Kotaru was the first one to talk "W-Why did you suddenly asked that out of nowhere?"
Uiharu gave them a wide grin, and she said to them "Well, I just thought that you two already have become a couple since you both went on a date yesterday." Kotaru and Saten face started to get redden. They forgot that her friends already find out about their date because Touma asked both Kotaru and Saten if he interrupted their date. And for make it worse, Uiharu added something to spice it up "Besides, Both of you enjoy each other's company with Hikari-san making Saten-san comfortable on the roof at the lunch break today."
Saten blushing really hard while stammered "Y-Y-You saw that too!?" Kotaru and Saten didn't have the idea that their friend spying on them.
Uiharu then told them "It's not just me Saten-san, Hikari san."
"W-Who else saw what we did?" Kotaru and Saten didn't expect that Uiharu wasn't the only one who has watch both of them together on the roof.
Uiharu using her fingers to counting while replied "Akemi-san, Muu-san, Makochin-san, and Daigo sensei as well."
After heard what Uiharu just said, they buried their face with both of their hands embarrassed knowing the fact that some of their friends in school and one of their teacher from their school has watched both of them enjoying their sweet times together which could result becoming a gossip on their school which is bad.
Uiharu Enjoy seeing how both of them reacted in front of her, but she decided to tell her friends that it would be okay because everyone decided to not tell the others about what happen on the rooftop which made Kotaru and Saten relieved about it. At this point Misaka just came back after using the restroom, she noticed that she must have missed something. When Misaka ask them what did she missed, all of them says nothing you missed which is a lie, but Misaka just throw it aside.
After they wandering in the mall for a while, Uiharu phone ringing loudly so she take out her phone from inside her pocket and take the call, "Hello?-"
"UIHARU!" Kuroko yelled from Uiharu phone which surprised her, then Kuroko continued "We have an update about the graviton case! Academy City surveillance satellite has detected an explosive graviton acceleration!"
"Where is the location?" Uiharu demanded.
"We're contacting Anti-skill for deployement now, you have to get out of there now!" Kuroko demand Uiharu to get out from the Seventh mist.
"Where is the location?" Uiharu asked again.
"It's in your location, Seventh Mist!" Kuroko answered.
"Did you say.. Seventh Mist?" She asked softly, "Ok it's a coincidence that I'm here now with Hikari-san as well! Both of us will evacuate immediately!" After that, Uiharu shut her phone immediately before Kuroko could say anything else.
After that, Uiharu turned to face her friends grimly, "Please be calm and listen to me. The graviton bombing has decided to strike again. And this time, we found out that the target is The Seventh Mist right where we are now!"
"W-What?" Misaka shocked "But there are so many people here! The bomber is going to hurt so many people!"
"There's no time to explain" Uiharu started to used her work mode "Saten-san, Misaka-san, Hikari san, could you three help me with the evacuation? I'll need to inform the staff, you three help me guide them out in an orderly manner!"
"You got it!" Misaka, Saten, and Kotaru nodded as they proceeded to help evacuate the premises.
"Looks like break is over for me!" Kotaru muttered while he slipped his judgement armband to his right arm.
Uiharu has informed the staff that there is a terrorist that will detonate a bomb inside the seventh mist. The staff immediately activate the speaker and told everyone inside the mall that there is a malfunction of the electronic equipment on their store, so they have to cease operation for today. The evacuation has begun, with various staff and security guards aiding Misaka, Saten, and Kotaru in their efforts with Uiharu quickly began to ushering the nonbelievers towards the entrance.
As the last of the customer left out, Kotaru guarding in front of the mall's entrance. He looked to the front and he noticed that Misaka and Touma run towards him. When both of them get closed to him, he asked "What's wrong Misaka, Kamijou-senpai?"
Touma immediately respond "The little girl is still inside, we need to get her now!" Then Touma and Misaka enter the mall.
"You got to be kidding me!" Kotaru muttered followed both of them and tried to catching up with them trying to find the kid that is still inside the building.
After they search to the 4th floor, they saw Uiharu in the distance just throw a green doll that was shrinking and immediately hugged the little girl after she throw the bomb behind her.
Misaka then immediately get in front of them taking her coin inside her skirt pocket "I'll blow it away with my railgun!" However, the nervousness had caused her hands to become sweaty and accidentally slipped the coin from her hand "Shi-"
At the same time, Kotaru panicked get beside her, throw a ball of electro, but it only knock the bomb 2 meters in front of Misaka and Kotaru, "OH CRAP!" Was all Kotaru able to say, then the particle in front of them exploded and they saw a sea of fire.
At the perfect timing, Touma manage to get in front of them and blocked the explosion with his right hand raised in front of him and a familiar glass shattering is heard.
Outside the building, everyone shocked in horror when the explosion has happened on the 4th floor of the 7th mist. Saten eyes widened by the scene in front of her, she can only hope that her friends that was inside the building is safe especially for Kotaru.
After the bomb has finish exploded in front of them, Touma turned to his friends asked in worried "Hey, is everyone okay?"
Misaka and Kotaru could only nodded, but Misaka immediately run to the entrance of the building tried to find the culprit because she saw the culprit when she went to use the restroom before the incident happened.
Uiharu still closed her eyes looking away from the bomb that was behind her, but she opened her eyes when someone called her "Hey are you two okay?" Uiharu turned around and saw Kotaru is sitting on the ground and Touma is standing in front of him.
"Kamijou san?" Uiharu noticed the ground behind him has damaged by the bomb but the area where he's standing isn't. Uiharu let go of the little kid, pick herself up from kneeling and asked Touma "D-Did you stop the bomb that just exploded?"
Touma put his hand to the back of his neck scratching them and replied "Yeah, I am the one who stopped it."
Kotaru who have calmed down after the explosion slowly pick himself up as well, then he look at Touma saying "Man, If you didn't jumped in front of us, four of us might have injured from the bomb. Thanks as always Kamijou-senpai" Kotaru raised his right hand, tried to shake hand with Touma as a gratitude towards him. Touma immediately nodded and raised his right hand as well, shaking Kotaru's hand.
After they stop hand shaking, Uiharu walked closer to Touma with the little girl beside her. Uiharu then said "Thank you for saving us, Kamijou-senpai." Uiharu started to call him just like Kotaru did which surprised Touma and Kotaru by what she just called Touma.
"You don't need to call me that too! Just call me Kamijou-san." Touma doesn't really like to be called senpai. Then Touma continued talking "Besides, I do what I have to do."
"You're right about that, thanks again." Kotaru replied, then they heard anti skill member coming up to the explosion site and they saw 4 people standing on the area that isn't damaged which is blocked by Touma when the explosion happened.
After the anti-skill got near them, Kotaru and Uiharu Immediately reported to the anti-skill what happened when the bomb goes off which include about Touma stopped the explosion in front of Kotaru, Uiharu, and the little girl as well.
When the sun is setting, Kotaru walked on the pedestrian along with Misaka and Touma right beside him, after everything that happened, the atmosphere feels nice and felt relaxing after everything that just happened that day.
Misaka rubbed her sore knuckles gently as she stared up at the setting sun while saying "That guy really pissed me off." Misaka has punch the culprit after she confront him tried to open the culprit eyes about what he did.
"You okay Misaka?" Touma asked his friend right beside him on the left side.
"More or less," Misaka muttered "Even though I don't like to say it, thank you for saved me from that bomb, if you didn't get in front of me and Hikari-san, both of us would have died."
"No problem, I just do what I did. Speaking of which," Touma then looked at Kotaru "Why did you tell the anti-skill about the one who did stop the bomb?"
"Simple, you have to get the credit after everything that you did today." Kotaru simply answered and continued "You won't get away Kamijou-senpai!"
Touma only sighed and give up because he know Kotaru won't let him get away this time.
"Oneee-samaaaaa!" Kuroko called Misaka while she running towards them and Hug Misaka from behind saying "Thank god you're okay!"
"Y-yeah," Misaka began to talk "If this idiot didn't jump in front of the bomb, Uiharu-san, Hikari-san, that little girl, and myself would be died by the bomb." Misaka gestured her hand to Touma.
Kuroko looked at Touma while hugging Misaka, then she said to him "Thank you for helping Onee-sama and my friend Kamijou-san! I appreciate your help." Kuroko was glad that Touma manage to save them safe and sound.
"No problem Shirai-san, I just do what I could do at that time." Touma replied.
"Kotaru-kun!" They heard a voice from behind them, they turned around this time and saw that Uiharu and Saten running towards them. When they get close, Saten immediately threw her hands wrapping them behind Kotaru's back and start to hugging him. Kotaru immediately wrap his arms around her waist, then he heard saten exclaimed "You jumped in front of the bomb again didn't you?"
Kotaru knew from her voice and the way she talked that she's worried for him, so Kotaru admit "Yeah I did, but this time I was reckless and panic at the same time. At that moment, I only manage to throw an electro ball which only knocked the bomb a few meters that isn't helping at all." He remembered that he only throw an electro ball to the bomb which didn't gave it so much effect. Eventually, Kotaru continued "I'm sorry to make you worry, Ruiko-chan!"
Saten shook her head while still hugging him, she replied him "It's okay! You gotta do what you have to do after all. Besides, Kamijou-san saved you right? It's all that matter right now."
Kotaru nodded "Yeah you're right." As soon as he said that, they heard Misaka and Touma stomach grumbled loudly. Kotaru and Saten then stopped hugging each other, then Kotaru face his friends and said "So, wanna go grab a dinner at Joshep's?"
Everyone looking at each other for a moment, then they nodded at the same time which confirms that they agreed. After that, the group started to walk to the Joshep's. Kotaru think what happened today, so many feelings ran towards his mind.
