I'm sorry i haven't update the story, i have a vacation with my family so i delayed the time making the chapter. Anyway hope you enjoy the story.
Vegitta: Yeah Touma's joining the trial just because his sensei find out his involvement eith the gaviton bombing incident because Kotaru told his involvement on his report. I'll have to think about how the interaction would be for the kamiyan disease. And yeah i'm planning when Touma fight against kanzaki, something will change.
Chapter 12: The Level upper arc begin.
Two days later, Kotaru has woken up in a hospital room. The first thing he saw after he wake up is a ceiling of the hostpital room, he saw the clock in front of him that was hanging on the wall, indicate it's 6 in the morning. He tried to remembered what happened last time before he fell unconscious for a moment and remembered his fights with Touma on the virtual chamber, he still remembered the punch that Touma land on his face which still stings. When Kotaru looked around, he saw his new seelie pet that is sleeping on the right side of the bed and saw Ruiko rest herself on the right side of his bed as well. Kotaru used his left hand to run his hand through her hair to see how cute she was when she was sleeping.
Ruiko stirred after a while, She opened her eyes and looked around. Then she saw that Kotaru staring at her with a smile on his face, she jumped out of her seat and looked back at Kotaru with her cheeks redden.
Kotaru chuckled at Ruiko, "Good morning, Ruiko-chan, did you have a good sleep?"
Ruiko is a bit flustered, but she answered "Yeah…..I really did."
"So how long have I fall unconscious?" Kotaru asked
"For 1 day and 2 nights." Ruiko count using her fingers while answered him.
"Man, for that long eh?" Kotaru mused, then he snapped remember that he fall unconscious after he got knocked to the wall. He asked her "What happened after I fall unconscious two days ago?"
"Everyone including myself and your parents hurried ourselves to get inside the chamber because we're worried," Ruiko explained "Your wound on the face really bad so Sogita-san decided to bring you to the hospital in an instant."
"I see." Kotaru replied "At least my injuries got healed right?"
"Yep, before we decide to go back to our dorms, Shirai-san finally understand why Kamijou-san is really strong." Saten explained "Kamijou-san beat your full power only with a single punch to your face, so Shirai-san decide to helped Kamijou-san to understand what he should do when doing the judgement works."
"Well, I guess everything turns out really good right?" Kotaru asked.
"Yeah, you're right!" Saten agree that everything turned out to be alright.
"Okay then." Kotaru then realised and asked Ruiko "Hey, you're not going to school now?"
"Don't worry, I already prepared before I visit you." Saten responded winking at Kotaru, she take her bag on the chair, giving Kotaru the seelie gadget back, and started to walked out of the room.
"Be careful on the way." Kotaru reminded gave her a warm smile.
"Sure I will, see you later." Ruiko open the door and left the room.
As soon as Ruiko left the room, the frog face doctor come inside the room.
"You feeling better boy?" The frog face doctor asked Kotaru.
"Yeah I feel really good I guess," Kotaru replied "Though my face still feel a bit of pain stinging on my left cheeks."
"I bet you want to leave the hospital this afternoon right?" The doctor knew in fact that Kotaru would use his power to heal himself to get out from the hospital faster.
"Yep, you're correct doc." Kotaru told the doctor.
"Anyway, you should thank your girlfriend for be on your side when you lost unconscious." The doctor told him.
"Me and Ruiko is still a close friend, but I will say thanks for her later." Kotaru guessed that Ruiko have visited him since yesterday after she got out from the school.
"No I mean, she's been here for 1 day and two nights," The doctor pointed out, "She never left the hospital from two days ago and didn't go to school at all."
"For real!?" Kotaru asked and the doctor gave him a nod, "Damn, she's worried about me that much huh? I should spent time with her later. Doctor, can you helped out to informed that I'm good to left the hospital this afternoon?"
"Sure I could help, I gotta check on the other patient now." After he says that, the doctor left the room.
After the doctor left, the seelie finally wake up from it's sleep. When the seelie looked at Kotaru that he's okay, the seelie fly closer and shook itself on Kotaru's cheeks.
"Hey-hey calm down little guy, I'm okay now." Kotaru petted the seelie that is worried of the owner safety "We will leave this hospital this afternoon, I gotta heal myself using my power now." Kotaru let go the seelie and the seelie flew backwards to make sure the healing is okay. Kotaru closed his eyes and focused himself to used his power, Kotaru body slowly began to be covered by a greenish aura and healed himself, after healing for a while, Kotaru's body become healty just like usual.
After he finished heal himself up, Kotaru opened his eyes and saw his seelie pet fly to the shopping bag beside the hospital bed, the seelie picked up a burger and a orange juice on top of its head and fly towards Kotaru.
"Thank you little guy," Kotaru grabbed the food and the orange juice from the seelie and start to take a big bite from the burger. Kotaru looked at the seelie for a moment while Kotaru still munching the food on his mouth thinking 'Hmm now you mention it, this guy didn't have a name ever since I got him as my pet… hmm what should I named him now….' Kotaru swallowed the food inside his mouth, take another bite, 'Ok let's see, from the body color of this little fella, it's like a streaming water that keeps flowing for a long time and looks like a manifestation of pure energy, if I remember correctly, there is a good name with a description like that on the internet." Kotaru swallowed the food, put down the food and used his virtual watch to search on the internet, the seelie looked at the hologram screen as well. Kotaru find the web page for the waters name and scrolled down for every water name in Japanese, most name is really good but there is one that catch his attention, 'There! This description fits this guy!'
Kotaru looked at the seelie again and asked "Hey little fella, if I were given you a name, would you like to be called Junto?" The seelie gave a happy nod to Kotaru, indicate that he likes the name for itself. Kotaru smirked and replied "All right Junto it is."
Kotaru turned off the virtual watch and continue to finished his meal, after he ate the burger, he took the orange juice and drink it until there is nothing left inside the bottle. After he finally finished his food, Kotaru told the seelie to help him put the empty bottle and an empty burger lids to the trash bin. After that, Kotaru lay his back to the bed again wait until the afternoon.
When it's already afternoon, Kotaru gave a message to Ruiko that he can go home from the hospital in the afternoon, Ruiko told him on the message that Uiharu is currently has a fever so she didn't come to school. After Ruiko pick Kotaru from the hospital, Both of them go to the pharmacy tried to get some medicines to heal Uiharu fevers. After they got the medicine they need, Kotaru and Ruiko walked to Uiharu's dorm, on their way, they saw Touma walking on their way.
"Hey Kamijou-san/Kamijou-senpai!" Kotaru and Saten yelled with a wave.
Touma turn towards the direction where the voice coming from, Touma waved back with a smile on his face.
"Hey Hikari, Saten-san," Touma replied, Touma looked at Kotaru and asked "So how's your injuries?"
"Eh no worries," Kotaru answered while spinning his left hand to the back, "I feel better physically, but for some reason I feel like my mental isn't recovered enough."
"Well maybe you should try to avoid fighting for now." Saten suggested.
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Kotaru agreed.
"Anyway, what are you two lovebirds doing now?" Touma said with a teasing tone while smirking at both of them and with a bit of stiff laugh.
Both Kotaru and Ruiko blushed instantly by what Touma just said, Kotaru respond instantly while a bit flustered, "We're taking some medicine for Uiharu since she's having a fever today," Ruiko presented the medicine on her hands after Kotaru says that.
"Want to come with us Kamijou-san?" Saten asked.
"Sure, why not?" Touma shrugged.
As three of them walked together to Uiharu's dorm room, They saw two familiar face in a certain park sitting on the bench that is covered by a shade of the trees. They noticed that Kuroko is shrieking with her hair twitching in pain after she took a bite of the ice.
"Misaka-san, Shirai-san, heeey!" Saten called out as she, Kotaru, and Touma walked over.
"Hi Saten-san, Hikari-san," She said cheerfully, but her tone changes when she's about to say hi to Touma "Hi idiot."
"Can't you at least call me by my name for once Misaka?" Touma replied with the same tone just like Misaka.
"I will if you stop called me using that biri-biri nickname."
"Oh c'mon, that is litteraly a cute nickname because you like cute things, or was that a lie?"
"So you want a death wish huh?" Misaka replied with an angry tone and began to sparking a bit.
"Hey that was a joke okay!" Touma said with him raised his right hand in front of him.
"There they go again." Kotaru and Kuroko lamented at the same time.
"Hey those ices looks delicious," Saten commented while ignoring the usual antics between Misaka and Touma.
"Oh it really is." Kotaru joining in then he asked Ruiko, "Want to buy some too Ruiko-chan?"
"I would love to." Saten replied back.
After a few minutes later, Kotaru and Ruiko buy their own shaved ice and sat down together on a bench while Touma just standing on the ground beside the right side of the bench where Kotaru and Ruiko is sitting right now.
"HNNNNNNNNNN" Kotaru and Ruiko wiggling on their seat because of the brain freeze they received after take a spoonful of shaved ice.
"Yeah, we feel both of your pain, it happened to both of us just now." Misaka joked.
"You know it's gonna happen, but we just can't stop eating them." Saten replied, she noticed the flavor on Misaka's shaved ice "Hey is that a lemon flavor?"
"Yeah it is, want to try some?" Misaka offered, much to Kuroko horror.
"That's really nice of you Misaka-san, don't mind if I do." Saten replied. After take a bite of Misaka's shaved ice, she said "MMMMM yummy, here you can taste the lemon one as a payback." Saten scooped some ice.
"Cool, thank you." Misaka replied as she took a bite of a spoonful shaved melon ice and causing Kuroko to scream in terror.
Everyone looked in her direction at this because they know the reason why she screamed liked that.
"Wh-what do you think you're doing?" Kuroko stuttered
"uhhh…Try each other's flavors?" Saten answered obviously.
After that, Kuroko stand up for a few second and it came to her mind to give Misaka a spoonful as well. When Kuroko offered to Misaka, Misaka says that they have the same flavor, Kuroko banged her head to the ground while saying "I'm an idiot, idiot, idiot."
"There she goes again." Touma and Kotaru Lamented at the same time with Kotaru sighed and facepalmed also Touma shooked his head as soon as he finished his sentence.
Kotaru looked at Ruiko, scooped his shaved ice and offer her "Hey Ruiko-chan, want to try the blueberry one as well?"
Ruiko looked at Kotaru, she answered him "Ah sure, i never know how blueberry taste like before." Ruiko taste the blueberry from the spoon, she's commented "Yummy! I didn't know that blueberry would taste this good!" Indeed, she never know how a blueberry tastes like.
Kotaru chuckling by her reaction and replied "Glad you like it." Kotaru and Ruiko continued to eat their shaved ice.
Kotaru looked at Touma, he realised that Touma didn't buy a iced shave, so Kotaru put his shaved ice to his seat, stand up and started walking towards the shaved ice stand.
Ruiko is confused by the sudden acrion, so Ruiko asked "Koraru-kun, where are you going?"
Kotaru stopped walking, looked back and simply answered "I want to buy a shaved ice for Kamijou-senpai, i bet he has a tight budget right now so he didn't buy a shaved ice."
Touma sighed and replied him "You don't need to Hikari. With my luck, something bad might happened to me."
"Sorry but it ain't gonna stopped me." Kotaru denied and walked to the iced shave stand buy a blueberry shaved ice. When Kotaru walked back to Touma, suddenly Kotaru accidentally kick the damaged brick onnthe ground that made him accidentally stumbled to the ground and accidentally throw the shaved ice and it landed on Touma's shirt.
"GAAAAAH!" Touma screamed in pain and fall to the ground before he used his usual line "SUCH MISFORTUUUUNE!"
"Sorry!" Kotaru pick himself up immediately and use his cirtual watch to create a towel, he used it to wiped out the shaved ice that was clinging on Touma's shirt.
"Are you okay?" Misaka asked panickly because of the little incident, she used her hands to help Touma stand up.
"Yeah i'm ok," Touma answered, he grab Misaka's hand and stand up before looked at Kotaru "You okay Hikari? You got stumbled yo the ground when you walk to me."
Kotaru who finally sit down back to the chair, answered him "I'm okay, it seems that i'm not fully recovered yet, still can't focused."
"It looks like you really need some break," Ruiko pick up Kotaru shaved ice,, she scooped the shaved ice and try to fed Kotaru, "Here, let me helped you out."
"Don't worry Ruiko-chan, i could still eat them in my own" Kotaru try to resist her offer.
"I insist" Ruiko denied "You might accidentally dropped the ice when you carry it, here eat it."
Kotaru can't do anything except for accepting her offer, so Kotaru took a bite of the shaved ice on The scoop with Ruiko feed it to him.
Misaka and Kuroko looked in awe because their friends fed Kotaru like a friend that was sick laying on the bed, Touma also looked in awe for his junior and his new friend.
After everyone finished their iced shaved, Misaka realised that someone isn't presented, so Misaka asked "Ah Saten-san, Hikari-san, Uiharu-san isn't with both of you today?"
"Today she's absent because she has a fever." Ruiko answered before she raise the medicine that Kotaru bought, "So both me and Kotaru-kun buy some medicine for her."
"Is it that bad?" Misaka asked in concern.
"Not really, both me and Kotaru-kun knows how annoying cold really was." Ruiko responded "You know, you can come along with us, even Kamijou-san agreed to come as well."
After a few minutes, the group finally arrived at Uiharu's dorm. With her friends presented, Uiharu thanked them for visited her today because the concern of her having a fever laying down on the bed.
Ruiko took the thermometer to Uiharu left ears, after the thermometer indicate how high her fever she has, Ruiko said to her "it says 37,3 degrees, it's not really that high, but it's the best for you to keep stay in the bed, and make sure to cover up so you don't catch a cold."
"You know Saten-san, it would helped if you stop flipping my skirt so i won't have a chill." Uiharu suggested.
"Don't give them the idea," Saten defended while she got down from the bunk bed's ladder "As your best friend, i have to make sure you wear your panties everyday. It's my duty after all."
"Of course i wear panties everyday!" Uiharu yelled in outrage get up from her bed "Besides, i don't need you to check i wear panties or not!"
"Yes, of course we know you do," Misaka tried to reassure her friend, "Now lie down before it get any worse."
"Hey Hikari, did she always do that everyday when she meet Uiharu-san?" Touma asked the Elemental Burst since he know them the most.
"Yeah she does," Kotaru confirmed "Man i kinda remembered the first time Ruiko-chan flipped her skirt in front of me when i tried to take a photo of her." When Kotaru tried to take a photo of her, Ruiko flipped Uiharu skirt from behind and the photo was taken when her panties shows up.
Uiharu hide herself behind the blanket remember how embarrasing that moment for her.
"Oh yeah thanks for let me used your washing machine to wash my shirt." Touma thanked Uiharu.
"No problem at all Kamijous-senpai." Uiharu responded.
"Hey Uiharu-san," Misaka began to ask her friend "When did you call this idiot Kamijou-senpai?"
Before Uiharu could respond, Kotaru responded first "She started to call Kamijou-senpai after she got saved by him on the graviton bombing a few days ago."
"Yeah that's true, i'm really grateful for him to save me so i really want to call him just like Hikari-san." Uiharu added.
"Anyway, i will prepare a cool towel for you." Saten said as she went to prepare the towel.
"Oh yeah Shirai-san," Uiharu called her from her bed, "Is there any news regarding on the graviton bombing attackers?"
"I could say there is and there isn't," Shirai answered, "We've found out that The culprit is only a level 2."
"But the damage he did is classified as a level 4." Misaka added.
"Not to mention i only knocked the bomb a few meters away since i've panicked at that time." Kotaru recalled his effort try to destroy the bomb.
"So, the only development so far is that there's even more we don't understand about it?" Uiharu summarized.
"Hey Saten-san, didn't you mention something about a level upper?" Misaka asked Saten on the kitchen.
"Level upper? What's that?" Touma asked, he didn't know the rumor about this.
"Oh yeah, Kamijou-san isn't with us yet when we talked about it," Saten realized "It's a rumor about a machine that can increase your ability level."
"It raises people ability's level?" Shirai asked for confirmation.
"Yeah, but like i said, it's just a rumor. There still isn't any proof that it existed." Saten explained.
"But i think it really does exist." Touma replied simply.
"Why's that?" The girls and Touma asked.
"When Hikari and myself fight one of the culprit one time, i noticed that the culprit mental isn't stable like he has eaten some drugs." Touma explained
"I noticed that too," Kotaru confirmed, "The next day, i asked Tsuchimikado about it in order to get some information and he even says that it might have something to do with the level upper."
"Why did you ask him for information?" Touma asked with suprised expression, he didn't expect that Kotaru would asked his friend about it.
"Tsuchimikado is the one that i could trust on getting some important information regarding to rumors, so i always call him when i needed some information." Kotaru explained
"Wait did you say Tsuchimikado?" Misaka realised, "I feel like i 've heard that name before."
"I think you know his stepsister, tsuchimikado maika," Touma revealed "Maybe that's why you,'re familiar with that name."
"Okay back to the point." Kotaru said to everyone moving past the last topic, "I believe that level upper is real, besides this isn't the first time a person's level as shown in the data bank doesn't match what they've actually done. The girl that made Ruiko-chan has wide eyebrows, the pyrokineticist bank robber, and of course our own Kamijou-senpai though he is the spevial case."
"Is there anything else you know?" Touma asked, looking at Ruiko since she is the one that familiar with the rumor around the city.
"If i recall correctly, There is something, but it could be another rumor," Saten mused, "I hear people who used the level upper post something like a message board on the net."
"Do you know which message board is it?" Misaka asked.
"Could it be this one, Saten-san?" Uiharu showed the laptop she's holding with a screen show the message board Saten was talking about.
"Yep it is." Saten confirmed.
"Good job partner." Kotaru praised his judgement friend.
"Nicely done, Uiharu!" Kuroko complimented
"That's our favorite hacker." Touma said with proud tone.
"Let's see if we could determine their identities and where they hang out." Kuroko added.
"I can't really tell for their identities, but as for their hangouts, look! They seem to get together at Jona's garden very frequenyly.," Uiharu said, pointing at a message mentioning the restaurant Jona-G
"Thanks a lot, Uiharu. I'm gonna look into it," Mikoto yelled as she ran out the dorm, "Oh, and get well soon!"
After that, Kuroko teleported herself outside the dorm, they heard Kuroko yelled at Misaka saying this kind of job supposed to be judgement affairs.
Touma open the door and yelled at Kuroko and Misaka "I'll catch up with both of you when i got my clothes dried out." After he says that, Touma get back inside the room and sit down in front of the table.
"Do you think they'll be alright." Uiharu asked feeling worried.
"They would be fine," Touma tried to reassure his new friend, "I just hope that biri-biri don't overload the powerplant beside the Jona garden."
"You know, i think you're gonna jinxed it." Kotaru felt that it would happen sooner or later.
Touma felt a bit scared of what Kotaru just said, he replied to Kotaru saying, "God, i just hope i don't."
"Say, Uiharu, Kotaru-kun, Kamijou-san, if we could get a hold of the level upper, do you really think it will increase our level?"
"Who knows, but cheating is totally wrong." Using the level upper would not be fair at all.
"I agree with Uiharu," Kotaru agreed, "It would disrespect everyone who worked hard for raising their level."
"Yeah, I know, just hypothetically. I would never actually do it of course," Saten said quickly.
"Well, it doesn't matter for me anyway," Touma pointed out, he raised his right hand and continued, "Since i could negate any esper abilities, i might considered myself to be equal as level 5 or above it."
"Considered your name is the one who's above god and the one who exorcise the devil." Kotaru pointed out.
"Well i don't think i could really surpass god." Touma scoffed with a smile.
"Ah that reminds me." Ruiko quickly grab the book inside her bags and put it on the table. "I got confused from the work the teacher gave to me at school, could you help me out?"
"Don't ask help from the people who's sick." Uiharu point her finger to Kotaru while looking at Saten asked, "Why don't you asked Hikari-san to help you out? He is in good condition than me now."
"Indeed, he is your boyfriend after all Saten-san." Touma pointed out.
Kotaru and Ruiko instantly blushed from the implication of them being a couple, Kotaru and Ruiko shook their head at the same time and responded with a flustered face "We're not a couple!" They know they went on a date, but they still haven't confessed yet.
Touma and Uiharu gave a teasing smirk towards Kotaru and Ruiko as the going to be a couple soon.
Kotaru suddenly remembered the conversation he had with the frog face doctor saying that Ruiko has skipped school for one day taking care of him for 2 nights and one day.
After a bit of thought, Kotaru get himself closer to The right side of Ruiko, after he get closer to her, he replied with a warm smile, "I guess i could help, think this as paying back for taking care of me when i'm still unconscious at the hospital."
Ruiko was suprised by what Kotaru just said, so she asked him, "How did you know about that?" She didn't expect for Kotaru to find out.
Kotaru used his right hand softly stroked Ruiko's hair and answered her, "The doctor told me that you've been staying with me at the hospital for 2 nights and one day, even you skipped school for one day, so let me pay back what you did okay?" He then used his free hand to brushed the hair and kiss her forehead.
Ruiko instantly flustered at the sudden action, but she's happy that Kotaru did that to her, she silently lean her head on his shoulders enjoy herself being with him.
Kotaru smiled when Ruiko's resting her head on his shoulders, he removed his right hand from her hair and use both of his hands wrapped them around her waist and pulling her into a full hug and closed his eyes. Ruiko also used both of her hands and wrapped them aroun Kotaru's back with her eyes closed as well.
Uiharu whispered to Touma saying "Those two looks cute together right?"
"Yeah, you're right. They should have become a couple in the future." Touma then thought the day when he find Kotaru is eating with Ruiko a few days ago, he whispered to Uiharu, "I shouldn't have interrupted their date a few days ago, they could become a couple."
"Well it can't be helped, you didn't know they were on a date until later so don't worry about it Kamijou-senpai." Uiharu tried to make Touma not worry too much about it.
"Well i guess you're right Uiharu-san." Touma still think that it's his fault that he interrupted their date, but when he think about it again, it's the bomber's fault so Touma try not to worried too much.
Suddenly Uiharu stomach growled loudly, Kotaru and Ruiko opened their eyes, looked at where the sound came from, both of them look at each other before they burst into a laugh.
"Well, looks like somebody's hungry," Touma said amused, Touma stand up and started walk to the kitchen. After he got into the kitchen, Touma looked at Uiharu and asked "So, what would you like to eat, Uiharu-san?"
"Ummmm can i have a delicious miso soup please?" Uiharu requested
"Okay, one miso soup coming right up!" Touma began to prepare the ingredient..
Kotaru and Ruiko separate from each other, he looked at Ruiko saying "Before we start, could you help Kamijou-senpai prepared the soup? His bad luck might be strike again."
"Sure!" Ruiko replied fastly, Ruiko stand up and walk to the kitchen and asked, "Kamijou-san, do you mind if i helped you out?"
Touma nodded, "No problem at all."
Touma and Ruiko began to prepared the miso soup in no time, especially this miso soup was made with Touma's recipe so the food was made in no time.
"Mmmmmm, Kamijou-senpai's cooking is soo delicious." Uiharu complimented when she taste the soup.
"Never underestimate his cooking skills," Kotaru pointed out, "Because the food he makes always taste amazing."
"Hey Kotaru-kun, can we continue where we left off?" Ruiko pointed out
"Ah thanks for reminding me." Kotaru responded, "So, what do you want to ask me again?"
"Okay, the teacher told me to brush up on the personal reality, but i can't understand it's concept at all."
"From what i know, personal reality is like something that come from your thoughts," Kotaru explained, "It's like you made your own reality inside your mind with your own thoughts."
"A reality on your own huh?" Saten repeated, "What do you think these realities are anyway? Some kind of delusion?"
"Instead of delusion, i think it's more like an illusion." Touma suddenly interrupted.
"What do you mean by that Kamijou-san/Kamijou-senpai?" The middle schoolers asked.
"Well, to be precise, Personal Reality it's like something that we see about the world." Touma began to explain, "That world itself came from what you believe is real on your thoughts even without any proof, with what you believe itself, esper could manifest their abilities to the next level, that's how i really think about it."
"Is that the reason you and Kotaru-kun tell the esper both of you gonna shatter their illusion before both of you knocked them out?" Ruiko joked.
"Part of it, yes." Both Kotaru and Touma said in unison.
"The power of our beliefs huh?" Saten mused, "If i believe for some more, i might be able to increased my levels."
"I believe you could do it Ruiko chan," Kotaru couraged her, "Only time could tell when."
Suddenly they heard a *ding* sound from the washing machine
"Looks like my shirt just got washed, now time to dry them." Touma stand up from his spot and walk to the bathroom, when Touma tried to start the dryer, The dryer seems didn't respond at all.
"Hey Hikari, could you help me out here?" Touma called him from the bathroom, "I think the dryer is broken, can you fixed it?"
"Ok i'm coming." Kotaru walk to the bathroom.
It takes several hours for Kotaru to fixed the dryer, apparently some cables were already broken inside the dryer which made the dryer isn't functioning at all so Kotaru had to go to the electric shop to buy some cables. After the dryer is fixed, Kotaru and Touma have to stay inside the bathroom because by that time, Ruiko is currently wash up Uiharu so both boys have to stay inside the bathroom to make sure they didn't see Uiharu's half naked body.
"Cmon guys admit it, you guys want to have a higher levels too." Saten said while wiping Uiharu's back.
"Having a higher ability would be nice actually, it could help with academic advancement." Uiharu mused
"Gotta say, i've been kinda upset after i did the system scan," Kotaru admitted, "I just can't believe that the power i wield now can't be detected by the academic city's machine just because my power was given by a god."
"What do you mean your power was given by a god?" Touma asked.
Kotaru immediately spawned the seelie that was inside his seelie gadget, he saw that the seelie is already sleeping, so Kotaru put the seelie on top of his head.
Kotaru petted the seelie and explain, "When i got a package from the other world a few days ago, i see a note inside the box that explain the gadget on my right hand gloves. The gadget is called a vision, a gadget that was achieved by people that was recognized by a god. Originally, vision only contain one element, but my vision is a special case. The note says that i'm the chosen one to control three elements in this worlds."
"So what you're saying is that your power is guven by a god from another world!?" Touma asked suprisingly.
"From what the note said, i guess that's true." Kotaru answered. "Anyway back to the topic, i'm just hoping that those machines could detected my powers." Kotaru sighed after he says that.
"You're right Hikari, but even though you're a level 0, you have a good friends to be with right?" Touma tried to reassure his friend.
Kotaru smiled at Touma after what he just said, he replied, "True, just look how many friends i have including you Kamijou-senpai."
"You're right Hikari-san," Uiharu admitted, "Even someone like me who is a level 1 become friends with all of you, you are so wonderful that i can't trade all of you with the world."
"Uiharu…" Saten whispered as she wrapped her arm around Uiharu's shoulder.
"You're so adorable!" Saten yelled as she began to violently cuddle the poor, sick girl, "As a reward, I'll sponge bathe your entire body as a gift for you!"
"N-No need Saten-san!" Uiharu try to resist. "I could clean the body that i could touch on my own!"
Kotaru and Touma try to resist the outburst that happened between the two girls outside the bathroom. Kotaru tried to think what Touma said before, he remembers the time he only have one friends outdide the city, but when he is in this city, there was so many people he could associate with especially Touma, Ruiko, and Uiharu.
Kotaru thoughts got interrupted when the power suddenly went off and the electricity have stopped working.
"A blackout?" Uiharu asked.
"I wonder what's the cause?" Saten mused
"Damn it Biri-Biri!" Touma suddenly yelled in rage, "She just overload the power plant near the Jona garden and i still have my shirt not dried yet. I'm going to teach her some lesson!" He stand up from his spot where he leaning against the door and barged out of the bathroom
Kotaru stand up from the toilet seat and said "Wait Kamijou-senpai, You can't... Go yet..."
Kotaru facepalmed and said "Oh god dammit." The seelie also wake up from Touma's outburst.
A few seconds later, he heard Uihsru yelled at Touma "Don't look!" After that, he heard a loud thud and some water drops. He guessed that Uiharu throw a washtub that Saten was using to wash Uiharu's body and knocked him to the ground.
"Such Misfortune." Kotaru heard Touma usual line before Touma fall unconscious.
Kotaru and his seelie sighed in unison before Kotaru says "Unlucky as usual."
