Hello everyone, this chapter will be the time where the group learns magic deeper with index, i hope all of you enjoy this chapter.

Johnnygat016: thanks for your compliment. Yeah i was planning to give Ruiko a time to shine as well. Hondo isn't only using geo power, he also used Hydro power and yep deffinitely Stiyl underestimated the students. Well even if Genshin is one universe with Toaru world, Misaka's group as well with Touma and Hondo can't ask Kotaru about it because he didn't know anything about tevyat at all and he only get a bit information about his power coming from tevyat and didn't really know about the gods in that place.

Chapter 19: learning magic deeper.

After their fight against innocentius, Uiharu and Kuroko decide to fill in reports about a fire incident that occured at Touma's dorm and also they need to make sure to hide about magic as well because getting that out to the public will be dangerous.

As for the remaining groups, they tried to discuss where they should keep index for the time being. Kotaru suggested to bring her to the hospital, but Touma denied that suggestion since index don't have an id card so her identity could be broken to public. As they keep discussing, index slowly open her eyes began to conscious, she called Touma with a weak tone, "Touma..."

Touma looked at index because he heard index called him, she was sitting in a bench on a certain park, she continue said in a weak tone, "What's wrong? You looked really pale and who are these people with you?"

"These people are my friends," Touma replied as he kneeled down look at index in the eye, "We can't worry about that now, your injuries is really important right now."

"If we could stop the bleeding, it would be fine." Index said weakly before she starting to fall over.

"Don't worry we got you." Touma said catching her and try to keep index awake, "Hikari could heal your injuries since he has a power to heal injuries."

"You could do that, Kotaru?" Hondo asked, he never expect that Kotaru could do that with his power.

"Yeah i could do that, but i suggest to find a safe place for her and i don't think it's a good idea to bring her to our dorms since that magician could call for help to find our dorm room." Kotaru pointed out.

"Hmmmm what if we asked one of the trustable adult to help?" Ruiko suggested.

"But who could we really asked for help?" Misaka asked, she didn't know any adult to help them.

After a bit of thinking, Touma snapped, he recalled, "Komoe-sensei could help!"

"Of course!" Kotaru agreed, "We could asked her for help."

"Do you know where is your teacher house?" Misaka asked.

"I do," Touma answered as he carried index in a piggy back mode, "Cmon, we got no time to waste."

The group follow Touma towards Komoe-sensei's apartment.

The group finally arrived in front of the room where Komoe-sensei live. It looks kinda old, but they curious if this is really the right place where Komoe-sensei was.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Kotaru asked.

"Only one way to find out." Touma replied, he touch the doorbell and it let out a *ping* sound. The first ring didn't have an answer, and touma began to touch the doorbell multiple times not having a patience. As he finally stopped, he asked to nobody, "Don't tell me you already sleep at this hour already?"

"Should we call using our phones?" Hondo suggested.

But they suddenly jumped when Misaka suddenly kicked the door because she isn't that patience.

"CHASER!"

*Bam*

Everyone silent as they saw Misaka kicked the door, and then, "OW, it hurts!" Misaka kneeled down as she hold her leg using both of her hands after she kicked the door. Touma laughing at Misska recklessness which msde Misaka glared at him in response with her face redden embarassed.

"Yes, Yes, Yes," Komoe-sensei's voice came from the large house, "I reinforced the door to stave off newspaper salesmen, so please don't kick it again."

"Should just have wait patiently Misaka-san hehe." Ruiko said as she giggled.

"That was a funny scene, thanks Misaka.." Kotaru replied amused.

When the door was opened, The sound of soft feet pattering across the marble floor reached their ears as the door gave off a 'click' sound as Komoe unlocked it. The door creaked open slightly and the students stared as a pink rabbit on two legs peered out at them curiously. No, wait, it was Komoe in a pair of pink bunny pyjamas. Wait, hold on a second, that's not right.

"Komoe-sensei?" Kotaru and Touma said dumbly.

"Wah! Kamijou-chan, Hikari-chan, what are you two doing here this late?" Komoe sensei asked in suprise.

"We'll tell you once we get inside, so please let us in." Kotaru said as everyone get inside Komoe-sensei room.

"Wai-wai-wai-wait.." Komoe sensei said.

What everyone see next wasn't what they expected, they look around the room blandly, Hondo was the first one to speak, "It's... What do i say, so messy."

Well it's true, Beer cans were littered all over the room haphazardly, books were strewn around the floor in every way possible and cigarette stubs were in every nook and cranny which had cigarette trays. The place looked like one that a chain smoker and alcoholic addict would be living in, not a respectable teacher. Messy indeed.

"I know it's a bit weird to say this now, but..." Komoe said as she cleaned the room, "Do you dislike the woman that smoke?"

The question never got answered as Komoe saw Touma put down index on the floor, Komoe-sensei was suprised by seeing index wound on her back, she asked Touma, "Kamijou-chan, what happened to her?"

"Well sensei, to be honest-" Kamijou began to explain, but was interrupted when index started to glow in a bluish color, The bluish glow illuminated the room and the occupants stared is fascination at the unearthly hue that it had cast upon them. Then, Index began to speak tonelessly.

"Warning," Index began to talk like a robot, Misaka and Ruiko notice this sound when they facing innocentius back in touma's dorm. "Chapter 2, Stanza 6. The loss of vital energy due to blood loss has surpassed the safety level, forcing reboot in John's Pen Mode. In the present state, according to the international standard time shown on the clock tower of London, body will lose the minimum votal power necessary to maintain life in fifteen minutes and perish."

"Everyone, stand back!" Kotaru suddenly yelled, "Let me do this now before it's too late."

Everyone nodded as they took a few step back, after they step back, Kotaru kneeled down as he put his right hand on top of index wound, as he began to focusing his wind healing power, the wind began to flowing on Kotaru right hand.

"REJUVENATE!" Kotaru yelled as he healed index wound, the wound on her back slowly closed in the process. Everyone looked at Kotaru amazed by how Kotaru manage to use his power to also heal someone and not only just for hurting his enemies.

After a few minutes, index wound has finally healed, the john pen immediately finished took control of index. Kotaru saw that index went into a deep sleep with a smile on her face. Seeing this, Kotaru stand up from his kneeling position, looked at everyone and exclaimed, "It's done, now index has come back to normal again."

"Thank godness." Ruiko said, everyone went calm as they heard the news from Kotaru.

While everyone is glad now index is ok, Komoe-sensei looked at Touma and remind him, "Since we know that girl is fine now, i wanna ask for confirmation what is going on."

"We liked to sensei, but i think it's best if we talked about it in the morning." Touma said.

"I agree, it would be better to explain everything tomorrow sensei." Misaka added.

Komoe know that it's also already late, so Komoe only could sighed and agree to let them explain everything tomorrow.

Touma also asked Komoe-sensei to let index stay at her place for now. After that, the group say goodbye to Komoe-sensei and leave her apartment.

After they already walked away from Komoe-sensei's apartment, the group meet Uiharu and Kuroko on the way.

"So i assume that all of you manage to find a place for her?" Kuroko guessed.

"That's right Shirai." Hondo confirmed, "She's at Komoe-sensei's house now, i just didn't expect that she would be that tiny."

"Kinda reminds me when i meet her for the first time." Kotaru pointed out as he chuckled.

"Anyway, it's already dark now," Uiharu reminded, "We better get some rest now and meet at Komoe-sensei apartment."

"You're right, i don't want Misaka-san and Shirai-san got killed by their dorm manager." Touma reminded.

"Please don't remind me." Kuroko muttered. Indeed, she got her neck snapped by her dorm manager multiple times.

"I agree, but what about you Kamijou-senpai? His dorm room got burned because of that magician we faced earlier." Kotaru pointed out.

"I could stay at aogami's place. He's been lodging at a café for a while now. Tsuchimokado should be there already, considering he's my next-door neighbor. That or he's staying with his stepsister, Tsuchimikado Maika," Touma explained, "We'll meet up at Komoe-sensei's apartment tomorrow to check on Index."

"Okay then, see you tomorrow all." Hondo said as he began to water skating, leaving the group.

After that, the group disband and went towards their own dorm. From a far away, a woman with a t-shirt only covered her top also tied to the bottom of her shirt along wtih her jean that missing a leg looked at the group that separated on their own way.

The next day, the group gather at Komoe-sensei's apartment. They were gathered there in the morning.

"So how is it possible that a big beer drinker and a smoker, the mature komoe-sensei bunny pajama clothes fit you perfectly?" Kotaru asked.

"Does how far the differenece between both of your age anyway?" Touma added.

The girls flinched for Touma's question.

"Do you really need to ask that, you idiot?" Misaka asked in annoyed tone.

"Don't try to snub me liked that," index said angrily, "Though this pajama does feel thight in the chest area."

Komoe looked at index in shock, "Y-You're insulting me right now."

"But.."

"But what?"

"It's nothing~"

"I am an adult!" Komoe exclaimed.

"Kinda hards to believe you're an adult with that kind of body, Komoe-sensei." Hondo retorted.

"All of us did when we met her for the first time." Everyone said in unison.

"Anyway Kamijou-chan, Ultimately, who is this girl to you?" Komoe asked.

"Emmmm..." Touma looked away before he answered, "My sister." Yep, Touma lied to his teacher.

As soon as he said this, Uiharu, Ruiko, Kotaru, Misaka, Kuroko, and Hondo facepalmed as Komoe pouted.

This continued with Touma beg for forgiveness all four on the floor as Komoe-sensei lecture him when there's time when he shouldn't be lying and also pointing out she's a foreigner with silver hair and green eyes. Everyone watch them awkwardly but still amusing at the same time.

"Uhh sorry to interupted, but... are you planing to tell the executive board?" Kotaru asked.

"That's right." Komoe answered instantly, "I don't really know what trouble all of you are in, but whatever your problem is since it took place in this city, it's the teacher's duty to take care of the problem also an adults duty as well."

Komoe then looked at everyone before she continued, "I know all of you get into some kind of trouble, so i can't allow it like a normal child."

"If sensei was a stranger, i won't hestitate to get you involved. But i owe you a favor sensei." Touma replied.

'say that when you didn't involved your friends." All girls excluding index thought to themselves.

Komoe cheeks redden at touma worries for her, she retorted, "Saying something like that and trying to cover things up won't make sensei forgive you." She began to walk to the door.

"Where are you going sensei?" Touma asked.

Komoe-sensei looked back and answered, "This is a suspended negotiation, i will go to the grocery shop to get breakfast ingredient, i will give all of you time to think what all of you have to say."

With that, Komoe-sensei left the group that's inside her apartment and continue to go to the grocery shops.

After all of that, the group sit down on the floor while Touma laying his back on the ground putting both of his hand behind his head.

"I guess everything is clear." Misaka commented.

"Thank god." Touma sighed in relieve.

"She's really a nice person." Index said.

"Are you talking about Komoe-sensei?" Touma asked.

"Yep." Index said as she nodded.

"We better stop get her involved further." Kuroko pointed out.

"Yes," Index agreed, "It's not really safe for her to use magic."

"Why's that index-san?" Uiharu asked.

"That's because grimoires are dangerous for normal humans." Index explained, "That's because they create a sort of second world within themselves through their contents and that second world is toxic, damaging the brains of those ill prepared to take on that knowledge."

"That's similar with personal reality itself don't you think?" Uiharu pointed out.

"Deffinitely." Kotaru and Ruiko agreed.

"Both of them does create a second reality that imprints itself on True Reality." Kotaru pointed out.

"But esper abilities rely on the personal beliefs of the individual while magic relied on the religious beliefs of a collective." Index pointed out before she continued, "I was belong to a branch of the English Puritan Church known as Necessarius, or the Church of Necessary Evil. It was designed to conduct Anti-Magic practices through the use of magic itself. They used the very magic they fight against in order to keep it in check, hence the name."

'this is similar to judgement but a magic vetsion of judgement.' Kuroko thought to herself taking notes of it.

"The reason why i memorized all 103,000 grimoires was so Necessarius could understand all magic, and thus potentially fight against all kind of magics." Index revealed.

"You should have destroyed those grimoires before you even read it firsthand." Touma suggested.

"It doesn't matter if the book was destroyed," Index replied, "The knowledge inside the book is the matter one, even if the original one was destroyed, it would be useless if the knowledge were passed down through the tradition. So the only option was to sealed away."

"So that means there's like a bomb inside your head and some bad people try to get their hands on them." Touma concluded as both of his fist shaking.

"With all 103.000 grimoires inside my head, someone could be able to distorted the entire world." Index whispered as she sunk deeper inside the blanket.

"Why you..." Touma asked in dangerous tone, "Why did you keep all of this to yourself in this whole time!?"

"Kamijou-senpai, please calm down." Uiharu said as she grabbing his arm.

"Please, you made her scared." Kotaru said as he grabbed his other arm with Ruiko along with hondo hold his shoulder.

"That's because i didn't think you would even believe me at all and i didn't want to scared you and i... didn't wanted you to hate me." Index whined under the blanket.

"Whatever!" Touma yelled as he stand up but slightly restrained by Uiharu, Kotaru, Hondo, and Ruiko. "Church of Necessary Evil, magic robes, a whole library of evil books! Your story is crazy that not every people could believe it at all! Is that it? No more suprise?"

Index sit up while still hiding inside the blanket. Seeing Touma calmed down, Kotaru, Ruiko, Uiharu, and Hondo let go of Touma.

"Don't underestimated me," Touma said looked away ad he crossed his arms, "Just because you memorised 103.000 grimoires, do you really think i will be disgusted at you? Have a faith at me! Don't judge someone else by yourself!"

After Touma said this, everyone saw that index was about to cry. Seeing this, Touma flicked her forehead. When index looked at Touma, she saw Touma's calmer face smiling at her and act confident he held out his right hand and said, "Look, i have this right hand so magicians won't be a match for me at all."

Misaka gave Touma a smile as he thought to herself, "There he goes again, this idiot acting all cool and heroic at the same time."

"Besides, all of us willing to help out you out too." Misaka added, "Anyway, ypu never know our names right? My name is Misaka Mikoto."

The inteoduction followed by Kotaru, Ruiko, Uiharu, Hondo, and Kuroko.

"It's nice to meet all of you, but..." Index looked at Touma and asked, "Didn't you say that ypu have to attend a remedial classes?"

"Did i really say that?" Touma asked back freezing a little.

'Uh oh' the girls thought.

'This might he bad.' Kotaru and hondo thought.

"F-forget about school for now." Touma said crossing his arm.

"So why did you say you have to go to school then?" Index asked, "Do you have plans? Did my presence made you felt uncomfortable?"

"Now you mention it," Kotaru realised, "Why does her clothes has a tear marks in it?"

Misaka eyes widened as she realised, "Did you accdientally stripped her?"

Touma refused to look at anyone's eyes, he won't let himself explained what happened to index clothes and the reason ehy he say to index he must go to school. Without Touma notice, index Index bare her canine teeth. The next one was Index biting Touma's head struggling on the floor. Almost everyone helped out removing index from Touma's head. As everyone struggling try to remove index, Kotaru realised that someone's missing, and it proved out when he turned arpund and saw that Misaka began to sparking really hard because she finally processed what happened to index clothes, and fired a electric spark towards Touma which is near everyone. Seeing this, Kotaru create a purple electro shield in front of him and blocked Misaka's attack.

Index suddenly stopped biting Touma as she sense something from Kotaru, she pointed her finger at Kotaru and asked, "How did you use magic just now?"

"Eh?" Everyone said while confused as they let go index.

"I aense magic coming from you just now, what was that?" Index said, she somehow felt a magic energy coming from Kotaru.

"Wait, are you saying that i used magic just now?" Kotaru asked.

"Yes you did." Index immediately answered.

"Is that so? I guess i better explain everything to you." Kotaru said as he pulled out a letter the day he got his seelie.

Kotaru explain everything including the vision, the power he got from a god from a place called tevyat, the world that was far away from this planet. He also mentioned that how the vision was obtained which required a strong ambition to get it. He didn't forget his seelie pet too, he introduced it to index and explained her about his seelie pet. Index was amased by such power even exist in the universe. The explanation went for several minutes.

Somewhere else, Stiyl magnus sitting using and his binoculars to looked at index with the group of students. Beside her was a tall woman with a tall katana on her hand named Kaori kanzaki.

"How's index?" Kanzaki asked.

"Still alive." Stiyl answered.

"I've gathered the information about the students that is with her." Kanzaki said.

"So what are their powers? Especially the one that has a strange right hand." Stiyl demand for answer.

"Okay as for the one with that strange right hand, it's not even a super power or magic power." Kanzaki confirmed.

"Are you saying that he's just a normal high school student?" Stiyl asked, "What a joke, to think a normal student could erase innocentius just like that."

"You're right." Kanzaki agreed, "Also that guy was only a troublesome student."

"Is there an intentional blackout on his information?" Stiyl asked after he smoked, "Index wounds even got healed by using a magic."

"There is a magic user among them," Kanzaki said, "But what suprise me was i didn't expect that one of them was using magic."

"What?" Stiyl said in shock.

"Apparently the one that wears a long blue sleeves shirt has used magic to heal index," Kanzaki explained, "But it suprised me the fact that kid didn't even get wounded because we know for a fact that magic could destroy esper bodies, but that kid didn't."

"Are you ssying that guy able to used magic with no problem at all?" Stiyl concluded.

"Yes." Kanzaki answered. "I think the source of his power was at the gadget that was located on his right hand glove he was wearing and he's not the only one who has it. The long black haired girl and the purple haired with red quils boy one also has it."

"Kanzaki, does those kids belong to the magic society?" Stiyl think those kids were a evil magicians that has motives.

"They're deffinitely not because they were espers." Kanzaki answered.

"Also what about the other people beside those students?" Stiyl asked.

"I also got the information about them," Kanzaki began to explain, "The brown haired girl one was indeed the third rank level 5, meanwhile the twintail girl one is a deadly level 4 teleporter which is dangerous and lastly the flower headband girl one was a level 1 esper which both of us don't need to worry about that one."

"Damn, if we have to face all of them, it will be troublesome." Stiyl huffed. "But still, she does seems happy." Stiyl said whoch made kanzaki caught her guard off. "She really does, she's been leading a happy life, but how long do we have to tear those apart?"

"Is it a perplexing emotion for you?" Kanzaki asked. "You, who have been in that place in the past."

"It's the same as always." Stiyl answered, "But when we have to face those kids, we have to be careful. Their power is litteraly no joke at all, maybe they even still hiding more power inside them, so it's the best if we don't let pur guard down."

"That's right, we better be." Kanzaki agreed.

The magician never know how powerfull these kids would, but they sure that they were deffinitely strong.
