Last Time
"Thank you Manda-Sama. That's all I need so you're dismissed." Said Naruto in a grateful tone
"Um Kurenai-Chan and Anko-Chan, would you like to become my secretary?"
"Of course I would, Naruto-Kun. It's Sensei's job to help her student any way that she can." Said Kurenai with a smile on her face.
"Gaki of course I would besides someone needs to make sure that you have some fun."
So both Kurenai and Anko placed a drop of blood on the snake scroll then a bright light surrounded them and when it cleared Naruto saw both of them were asleep. He knew that he couldn't leave them out here by themselves so he started to work on his kenjutsu while they slept. He knew one thing for sure that today was going to be very interesting.
Now 2 days later
When Kurenai and Anko had woken up since their reserves were empty they would just observe him while he trained. He ended up signing all of the contracts but he had only summoned Manda because summoning a boss summon takes a toll on anybody including an Uzumaki. So he continued with Anko's chakra control exercise and his control has improved greatly. Now when he wanted to use a technique he didn't have to use so much chakra.
The chunin exams were coming up and Kurenai had elected him to take part in it! Him! Kurenai, wanting to make sure he had an ace in the hole for the chunin exams, taught him a genjutsu known as tsukuyomi. But she made him promise to only use it as a last resort which he agreed to. Anko had officially become his second sensei. So she, wanting to make sure that he had another Ace in the hole taught him a forbidden ninjutsu that when used can seriously injure or kill a person depending how much chakra one uses. He also learned some more Jutsu from Uzushio
Timeskip 2 days
Today is the day of the chunin exams and he was entering by himself. He could tell that the floor he was on was one of Genjutsu after all Kurenai-Sensei taught him how to spot one. But then he heard the voice of one Sasuke Uchiha that made him want to just slap some sense into him.
"Hmph this is obviously genjutsu. To think you could fool me! An Uchiha with a genjutsu is laughable. I mean really even Sakura could've gotten it." said the voice of Sasuke
"Yeah Sasuke-Kun is right! Hey Sasuke-Kun, can I go on a date with you when the exams are over?"
"No. Now be quiet, you're hurting my ears."
"I agree with dickless you should be quiet as you're being noisy ugly banshee."
Naruto sighed why did they have to enter the exams? Originally if they had kept their mouth shut then they wouldn't have been nearly as many competitors. As he continued to walk on, a blur of green passed him by and landed in front of him.
"Naruto Uzumaki yes?" said a goofy looking ninja
"I am why?"
"You see if it's alright with you I'd like to challenge you to a fight. I mean one does not get to face an Uzumaki everyday so I think you'd be a great challenge."
Naruto looked at the clock and saw that he had some time left so why not. Besides, it'd give him a chance to test out some of the jutsu that he learned as well as genjutsu.
"Alright I accept but if I may ask what's your name?"
"Names Rock Lee and prepare yourself."
Lee disappeared and aimed for him towards the shoulder and succeeded. But Naruto wasn't done so he created some shadow clones that charged Lee but he defeated every last one of them with ease. If Lee was being honest with himself he was disappointed. I mean he was going up against someone who was supposedly one of the strongest genin here yet he could only use shadow clones. Once the clones were gone he hit the original Naruto with yet another kick and a punch.
Then he saw Naruto smiling and his eyes widened like saucers. The real Naruto exploded causing him to be sent flying backwards towards a wall had his sensei Guy not been watching so he caught Lee. He was impressed. The real Naruto wasn't even on this floor.
"Guy-Sensei what happened?"
"I'll tell you Lee, you were fooled by the blonde. See he wasn't even there in the first place. The clone you fought when you landed some punches on him that only made it worse for you. When you delivered the final kick the clone exploded but in fact held back."
"Held back? But why would he do that? And how would you even know?"
"Well as you probably know I'm Kakashi's rival as well as a Jouin. So my eyes can see what most can't. See because Naruto has an insane amount of chakra he poured enough in to ensure that for a few hits that you made he wouldn't explode.
But after a few hits the clone made some clones of it's own to ensure that should it explode it wouldn't cause as much harm to you. Lucky for you I was there to ensure that you didn't seriously hurt yourself. Be more careful on who you challenge Lee as it might cost you."
"Alright, I will, Guy-Sensei!"
Meanwhile with Naruto
He had just gotten the memory of his clone. He saw Kurenai-Sensei there and when she saw him she had the biggest smile on her face. Why was she so happy? Now he knew that Kurenai-Sensei could sometimes be over the top when it involves her sensei duties but still it's like something interesting is going to happen.
"Hello Kurenai-Sensei!"
"Naruto-Kun, what did I say about you calling me sensei?"
"Sorry Kurenei-Chan. Was that better?"
"Yes it was anyway I'd like to let you know that this year the Hokage decided to change it up this year."
"I see well thanks for letting me know."
"Yeah one other thing no matter what happens in there you must try to remain calm."
"Alright I will! Don't worry I'll make you and Anko-Sensei proud!"
"Good luck Naruto-Kun. I wish you the best."
So Naruto opened the door and he saw that hardly anyone was there so he sat down and placed him down so that he didn't attract unwanted attention. Soon the other rookies entered and he saw that they were bringing attention to themselves. While used to wear orange it was only because he wanted attention. Then he saw someone get up and walk over to them.
"You really should keep your voice down."
"Oh and who are you?" asked Sakura the fan girl
"Names Kabuto and I'll help you guys as I have some information cards and I'd be willing to share. Just give me their name."
"Alright I want the names of Neji Hyuga, Gaara of the sand, and Naruto Uzumaki." said that of one Sasuke Uchiha
"You know their names, that's not very fun, oh well. Lets see first we have Neji Hyuga. His sensei is known as Maito Guy, his teammates are Rock Lee and Tenten. He has completed 300 D-Rank missions and 20 C-Rank missions. He is known as the rookie of the year of his class.
Now for Gaara of the sand his sensei is Baki and his teammates are Temari of the sand and Konkero of the sand. He has completed 50 D Rank, 25 C Rank, 10 B Rank, 5 A rank, and 7 S rank. It's said that he's never been injured on a mission ever! Not only that but it's rumored that he has manipulation of Sand.
Alright, finally Naruto."
As Kabuto was about to read, Naruto appeared and snatched the card out of his hand. He didn't need his competitors to see what he's got.
"Sorry but I don't need my information out to everyone Kabuto-San."
A man with a bandana with a large figure walked in with a frown on his face. He has Konoha forehead protector on his head. Two nameless chuin walked in with a mirror it seemed.
"Alright you maggots sit your asses down or else!"
Everyone of the rookies sat down and the man smirked.
"Alright so my name is Ibiki and today were going to start the first part of the chunin exams. So for this first part we have created a special genjutsu that everyone will be a part of. Now this genjutsu shall show you the thing you fear most. Now as chuin one must come to terms with their fears and face them head one. Should I deem that you've completed this mission then you'll pass."
"Now in order for this test to begin I first must bring in a guest. You can come in now."
Kurenai Yuhi walked in with a smile on her face. When she saw Naruto she waved at him and blew him a kiss. Why the hell was his sensei embarrassing him? He supposed that it shouldn't matter. But still though it was a little unnecessary.
"Alright, Kurenai-San, would you do the honors."
"Sure Owari naki akumu kanshō."
Every genin in the room was captured in this genjutsu. See this is one of Kurenei's forbidden genjutsu as she had based it on her own tsukuyomi but to make a more useful one. See this one is suly for the purpose of drowning her enemies in their own fear. See this genjutsu will activate the moment her victims hear the name being called out or their eyes. It does take a little bit less chakra to use than regular tsukuyomi.
The reason why this was forbidden was when Kurenai used it to kill 2000 jouin grass shinobi. But she only used that. No taijutsu, ninjutsu, fuinjutsu, or kenjutsu. Only that genjutsu. So the hokage banned the technique but for instances like this an exception to the rule was made.
So the horror begins…
Alright so I'm leaving this on a little cliffhanger. So I can already tell that some of you will be upset that Kurenai has tsukuyomi. Every Uchiha can have 2 special abilities that's just one of Kurenei's. Also since she is an Uchiha and considered the genjutsu mistress it only makes sense that she has a genjutsu sharingan ability.
