Feelings of Pain.
At an area in the Galaxy a Star Destroyer, an incomplete one was being worked on. But this one is no normal
Onboard the said incomplete flagship, the Executor, and given the codename Starkiller a while back a few years Mikoto was now twelve she was trained harshly over the years the apprentice repressed all the memories of his previous life and spent the next years training as a weapon of the Darkside, all while slowly forgetting her previous life. But in her training Vader was not a kind guardian, he was very relentless in her training and some even involved life threatening methods to do so and the two were sparring right now.
And Right now she was forced to push then send her a few feet away and when she landed on the ground she rolled a few feet as well and stopped once she hit a metal wall with a thud, she pushed herself up and glared at her Mentor.
Vader just looks down on her, his Lightsaber activated as he looks at his student. "Now my apprentice tell me how do you think I defeated you so easy?" Vader asks as he looks at the girl who got up.
"you said you would not use the force, This was just to test my skills in a Duel." Mikoto says angrily while still glaring at her mentor. But she stopped when she was lifted in the air by the force and could not move as Vader pulled her towards him.
"Yes I Did.'' Vader began. "But in a duel you do whatever it takes to win never trust your enemy." Vader simply says as Mikoto was still in the air. " Remember in a battle with the likes of the Jedi you must be ruthless, Relentless you must use anything to defeat them whatever it takes." Vader says as he releases her and lets her fall to the ground. "If anything less you will die by their hands the Jedi won't show you mercy when you one day face them." Vader explained to the in training student. "Understand?" Vader asks.
"Yes…Master." Mikoto says angrily as Vader deactivated his Lightsaber then and so she did the same.
Over the years Mikoto began to call Vader Master or Lord Vader, Because Vader says while under his control she will refer to him as Master or Lord Vader and it took her awhile and some pain but she eventually began to call him that or lord whenever she addresses him.
"You may leave." Vader said dismissing her.
Mikoto glared but she bows and goes then to her quarters in the ship then leaving Vader alone. But someone coming out from an automatic door came and the said being spoke then. "So its time?" The person asks.
"Yes, if she lives then she's one step closer to completing her training." Vader says to the being.
"And if I kill her?" The being asked.
"Then all the training in the dark side I so far taught her would have been a waste of time." The Dark Lord said. "Now you know what to do."
The being did a bow then. "Yes sir." He then leaves. But the said being felt excited about this if he had organic lips he would be smiling very widely right now like a Hutt getting what it wants. It will finally do what his purpose is.
As for Mikoto stood in her shower after she took off her training clothing and they where some scars on her body in some of her mentor sparring and tests Vader teaches her by pain but right now she was taking a shower to wash of the sweat from her training with Lord Vader once that was finished she wrapped a towel around herself and turned off the water while being the student of Vader she had her own quarters had its own shower and food supplies when she needs them. She had anger to Vader yes and strong resentment towards him but she feels that she earning a Important roll with her Master and that she needs to keep training if she wishes to prove to her master that she is ready, Vader had told her that only when she's ready that they together will be able to kill the emperor and bring order to the galaxy. Vader had told the way the Galaxy is under the emperors rule and that motivated her to get stronger just to put a end to his rule she saw that the problem with the empire was Palpataine a selfish man who only cares about himself and what he wants and craves on the suffering of others and ending his life became Mikotos goal.
After her Shower and drying off Mikoto she got dressed and began to eat some rations she had. She did not care for how food tastes, she only cared for them being beneficial for her body's needs. But then a speaker in her Quarters went on and the voice of Vader was heard.
"Starkiller." The Voice of Vader went through. "Come to the bridge now." Vader Demanded as it cut off before she could say anything and Mikoto looked a little annoyed but finished swallowing the food in her mouth and headed out of her quarters then and headed to the bridge.
Mikoto walked to where her master had contacted her she wondered what did her master want this time was it another training lesson? No if so it would not be in the bridge so she kept going to find out as she got to the bridge the automatic doors opened she walked through, when she came in all she saw in the area she was called forth it was empty, and that confused Mikoto as she looks around.
"Master?" Mikoto calls out.
Right now the Apprentice of the Dark Lord had a hand on her lightsaber because she had a feeling that Vader might be planning something, maybe another training method, that if her guards go down or something that will end badly for her.
But after a while of looking, nothing attacked and nothing was heard, not even the Dark Lord's heavy breathing. Now the Young apprentice wondered why did Vader call her here if he was not showing up. There must be something.
But Mikoto had wide eyes as she heard the sound of something being activated, The sound of a lightsaber. Reacting fast Mikoto activates her own lightsaber and blocks a blue lightsaber that collided with her red one.
Who Mikoto saw was not Vader her mentor. It was someone else. The man was clearly not humam but this one had a Pointy dome like head and black facial facial hair and a Jedi robe as well with a hood. This must be a Cerean
The Attacker then knees her in the gut breaking Sword Lock and then does a spine kick fast sending Mikoto back making her hit the wall hard. Mikoto recovered and rolled out of the way of a lightsaber strike that was aimed for her heart but it missed and ended up hitting the wall instead of the heat of the saber from the attacker stabbing through the metal wall easily.
Mikoto used the force to jump back to get some distance and activated her lightsaber, she also gave the Being a glare that got in a stance. What Mikoto could tell was that this fighting style was offensive like her master made her study lightsaber forms. But other than that she wondered how a Jedi got onboard the ship? She decided to think later she had no time to think of that now and she had doubts that this Jedi would tell her.
"You will regret being here." Mikoto says glaring at her for getting into a stance of her own then. She was thinking if she killed this intruder
"I don't think so." The attacker said as he had his Lightsaber at the ready still and Mikoto attacked then.
The said attacker was blocking all of her strikes then when she dashed at him, all of her attempts to break his defense seemed to not be working at first as when he saw an opening Mikoto avoids when he strikes at her which Mikoto barely managed to avoid. But if that strike had hit her she would have been horribly injured.
But she soon was confronted by the being again who with impressive speed was right in front of her and began to hit her with his own barrages of strikes, she barely avoided the Jedi intruder's flawless technique So cleave, regained his footing and formed a defensive posture. As this was going on Vader was watching from a camera he had activated in the room so far this was disappointing as he had his arms crossed but he watched still to see if the work he put in his apprentice was not for nothing.
The fight seem to be one sided as the jedi seemed to be having the upper hand during the whole fight The Dark apprentice holding her lightsaber more tightly in her hands once they were in another Lightsaber lock and silently she obediently responded as the Jedi slammed his weapon onto hers in an attempt to break through her guard Mikoto refused to give in she still held her ground against the aggressive attacker still in defensive. But Mikoto thinking and had a idea used the force to pull some objects towards her attacker to hit him but the attacker quickly cuts them up then and Mikoto quickly dashes to attack but the attacker hits the saber out of her hands and he goes to cut her in half but she did a back flip back and he misses he runs to finish her.
But that's what she wanted him to do as Mikoto smirked then and did a movement with her hand and her lightsaber came towards the back of the jedi reactivating it and the red blade sliced through the jedi arm, cutting it off and Mikoto smirked. "Should have watched your back there." She then aims the Lightsaber at the Jedi neck then she did not want to cut the body in half she wanted to bring it one piece to her master to show what she did.
"Well." The attacker said in a now Robotic voice much to the Dark Apprentice Mikoto surprise and was not in pain after she sliced the jedi arm off. "you seem to have beaten one of my programs on recorded jedi files congratulations!." The attacker said as a light came up and what appeared was its true form a droid. "Hello I am Proxy and i'll be one of your instructors" it said friendly even if it did get damaged as it picks its severed arm up with its intact one.
"what?" Mikoto says with an eye raised.
"You did well." Vader says now right behind Mikoto.
Said Girl then jumps as she turns to see him, she hates it when Vader her master at times comes out of nowhere.
"Wait Master? You planned this?" Mikoto says almost shouting, she was not yelling out of surprise she was shouting since she was angry about this.
"indeed and you remember what I said to use anything it takes to win against a jedi." Vader said pleased. "As this Droid says it's the first of his kind and has downloaded files on Jedi over the years and there fighting styles and he will improve your fighting skills with a lightsaber." Vader says as he looks at her then. "And you completed one of the most important tests now I know that that when I picked you my time was not wasted that day." Vader says to her. "and your now closer to your goal and reaching your potential." Vader says to the twelve year old.
Mikoto felt pleased at that, this was the very first time that Vader said anything nice to her and as angry as she is for Vader for almost getting her killed by this droid she was pleased that she passed this teste of her master and she felt the more she survive the stronger she's becoming each time and when ready like she repeated to herself many times she will help her master Bring order to the galaxy.
"But as close as you are you still have much to learn." Vader said and Mikoto went back to feeling the cold from her master's presence. " and as Proxy will be your instructor he will be focused in killing you each time make one mistake and your life will end by his hands and as you did well in your deul with the droid do not rely on pure defense one must be acting instead of reacting Passively defending against an opponent for to long will only prolong the inevitable you are a warrior of the Dark side and must use it to its fullest." Vader said coldly to the child.
Mikoto looks down, fists clenched then. "I Understand Master…." Mikoto says feeling her anger build up, Vader brings up her hope that he was proud of her only for him to shatter it in the end and say really wanted to yell at Vader for what he said to her, on how she tried very hard and won the fight on the test like he said. But she knew better than to let her anger out on her master. She has made a mistake like that but that did not stop her from saying some stuff in anger in her voice.
"You may leave now, Droid with her." Vader orders as Both the droid and Mikoto nod and leave the door closing behind them leaving the Dark Lord alone. He felt the anger in Starkiller growing good. Her anger will be helpful to her in the future but useful to him.
As Proxy and Mikoto were walking together, Proxy was talking to Mikoto, he was mostly telling her about himself and details about himself and how his programming works. But she had said nothing as she just let him talk while she was keeping the anger she was feeling right now for Vader in. She survived so far one of her most dangerous tests yet Vader as he complimented her for surviving also shattered the confidence she had afterwards.
"So why not tell me about yourself?" The training Droid asks Mikoto.
Mikoto looks at the Droid then. "I'm sure My Master has explained to you about me." She says in an angry tone.
Not picking it up, Proxy spoke. "Ah no he didn't, he just told me that he needed me to test someone and then after our duel be your instructor which im looking forward to since I must kill you in training combat." Proxy explains.
And that made Mikoto roll her eyes as they talks still. " Of course, look , can you not talk?" Mikoto says. "Since you are just my training droid nothing else nothing more." Mikoto says.
That actually stung the droid a little. "Oh ok." Proxy says.
Feeling a little bad, Mikoto sighs. "Look sorry but I'm just angry right now so i'm not much in a mood to talk right at the moment." The young force user says. "I train very Hard with Vader and his tests for years but no matter how hard I try he shoots me down, No matter how hard I try…or if I do well in my tests he always finds fault…I…Just HATE IT WHEN HE DOES THAT!" She says finishing her rant as she punches a wall and breathes hard, the wall had a large dent in it and there's no harm on her fists when she punches the said Metal wall.
As she breathes hard Proxy puts a hand on her shoulder, Mikoto looks at him then while crying then a little as well. "Vader is not the nicest of beings." Proxy says.
Mikoto wipes her eyes then but tears still came as they got to her quarters. "Well obviously." She says to the droid.
"But he always does what he does for a reason, I am sure in time you will prove yourself to him that he will not see you as a lowly being as you think and besides he dose have plans for you as well as he said." Proxy says trying his best to comfort his new master.
He may be programmed to try to kill her to keep her senses up, but he was a friendly droid and he did want to be there for his master if she ever wanted someone to talk to he also wanted to be her friend. As well as try to kill her as well to assist in her training.
Mikoto then felt somewhat better, other then Vader she never had someone really to talk to or feel free to let her emotions out like this for years and someone cared. "Thanks Proxy…I needed that." Mikoto said gratefully as she felt really better after letting her emotions out like that.
"Well if you ever need someone to talk to I will be around when you need one." Proxy says.
Proxy may not know it but he had just become Mikoto first ever friend wile under Vaders teachings and He made Mikoto very happy as well. But Mikoto calmed herself as she decided to ask the droid something.
"Ok…alright Proxy How many programs you have inside you on on your records on jedi from the past?" Mikoto asks the Droid who looked excited.
"Hundreds really, do you want me to activate a program for you to train master?" Proxy asks Mikoto who nodded.
"Ok! Let's begin." With that the Droid turns into another Jedi from back then and this time had a green lightsaber. "Ready master?" Proxy asked.
Mikoto smirks and activates her Lightsaber. "Yes. Now let's begin." With that the two charged at each other. Mikoto still focused on becoming stronger so she can do what her master intends but she was now happy.
Proxy may be for Mikoto to train in her Lightsaber combat, but Proxy will be a major factor in the years to come that the young Dark sider in training will not go insane because of Vaders relentless training. All because she now has her first friend…
But there will be Dark times as well and after Mikoto training is complete she will face many things in her future.
Note: Well here's chapter 2 of the fic, well for this chap I wanted to do Mikoto childhood/Preteens as she was being trained by Vader then skip to when Vader sends her on her first Challenge against a Jedi. It will build up to that time eventually.
Now how Will Mikoto Marek's fate go when Vader sends her on her first mission? Well we will wait half to see.
