Everything was going according to plan. The Fullbring power of his new body had reached its limit. Thanks to Kisuke Urahara, the evolution of his Fullbring had reached its last stage ahead of time, and brought forward thanks to his new item. According to the research on the first Shinigami substitute, Kujo Ginjo, by developing an affinity for a particular object, a Fullbringer can alter its form, granting powers that vary between individuals. In his case, thinking of Ichigo's body as that object to which he developed an affinity would be useful for the future when he needs to summon that power. But in order to achieve the pinnacle of power, Aizen needed to grow all the powers inside of this Ryoka's body. However, Aizen had other plans in mind at the moment.
Chapter Three
The Collector
"So that's the entire story," said Shiba Isshin with his arms folded standing next to Kisuke Urahara.
Aizen sitting in Ichigo's body was sitting cross-legged on the basement floor under Kisuke Urahara's tent. Making them believe he was paying attention to Isshin's story, but Aizen was present during those events and already knew. In the meantime, he was planning his next move. Last night, after the event with the hollow, Tessai, Ururu, and Jinta appeared to take Isshin, Yuzu, Karin, Rukia, and Urahara to the shop to be healed, and Ichigo went along with them. Isshin had made himself clear and told Ichigo everything while his sisters were upstairs being attended to. Rukia was also being treated for her injuries from the explosion caused because of Ichigo's Fullbring completion.
Ichigo nodded and stood up.
"Who will be my first sparing partner?"
"Ichigo?" said Isshin, his eyes widening in surprise.
"You're not even going to question your old man?" asked Urahara, hiding his face under his fan.
"He had his reasons for not sharing his story, but now that he did, my job is clear. I've to become stronger to defeat the… hollows." Aizen was about to mention his target, the Soul King, before his time. Lucky he didn't. He gave a suspicious glance towards Urahara who was giving him this chill of not being able to know what this man was thinking right now.
Aizen concentrated on Ichigo's body, and summoned out a solid suit. Over him appeared a white suit of armor covering his chest, arms, shoulders and feet, with a stripe across his face. Beneath this, he wore an all-black body suit. The more interesting Hollow affiliation of his power appeared on the white gloves at the end of his fingers. He had Hollow claws on top of his fingers instead of his normal fingers. However, he had no sword. The Shinigami power had not yet manifested itself. His hollow and fullbring power had manifested in a suit of armor.
"It will have to do," said Ichigo.
In front of him, Kisuke Urahara removed his Zanpakutō from his cane and took a sinister stance, his eyes no longer visible under his hat. And he said not a word. Shiba Isshin had gone up to check on Ichigo's sisters, and there was only Kisuke Urahara, his little experiments, and himself in the desolated area. At that moment, Aizen had figured out that in order to get his Shinigami powers without having to leave Ichigo's body, he would have to do the same thing that the Shinigami substitute Kujo Ginjo did and merge his Shinigami powers with his mortal body.
But that would have to wait. For now he had to concentrate on... At that instant Kisuke Urahara had lunged in front of him with his sword. Ichigo had quickly blocked with his forearm armor.
"What the hell!" said Ichigo.
"If you really want to train, I'm not going easy on you." His eyes brightened with killing intent.
Each swing of his sword came faster and faster, and he found it difficult to dodge. Slowly, in the palm of his hand, a black and red energy appeared. Then it reminded him of the night before where he had awakened the powers, and he remembered the same reiatsu. He used a little concentration and created a little ball of black and red energy between his palm and contacted Kisuke Urahara's sword, causing an explosion of reiatsu energy that sent them both flying away from each other.
"Good trick. But it won't work again," said Kisuke Urahara, wiping the dust off his clothes.
Aizen was looking at his hand. That energy right now felt familiar. It was like Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Tensho, a technique from his inner Hollow, White. An attack that was like the Cero Oscuras of the Espadas that once served under him in Hueco Mundo. By the time Kisuke lunged at him again, Aizen had used Ichigo's powers to create a red-black energy sword that resembled the true long Zangetsu sword with a hole in the middle, blocking Urahara's sword on impact.
"Not bad. But now I will kill you." Urahara stepped back, "Wake up, Benehime."
He had released his sword, which pushed Ichigo further back, and brought him to his knee. At that instant he used his other hand and summoned another red-black energy short sword which he swung to attack Kisuke Urahara's face. In the wind only Urahara's hat flew, cut off a little, while Aizen had stopped in front of Urahara's face. His whole soul told him he should have struck the blow, that he should have tried to kill him, but his body refused to deliver the final blow.
"Hey, Ichigo, Yuzu and Karin are awake, you can come up now to see them," said Isshin from the stairs leading up the shop above.
Kisuke Urahara and Ichigo looked toward him and stopped fighting.
"Well, I guess the training is over, Mr. Kurosaki," Kisuke Urahara withdrawed his sword first, and continued, "See you upstairs."
Kisuke Urahara had followed after Shiba Isshin to the shop above and now Aizen remained alone with Ichigo's body in the training grounds. He pressed his claws into the palm of his hand in humiliation, but nevertheless, he was both scared and excited to fight people of his present level. Looking towards the top of the stairs, he frowned. Blue-green sparks came from his hand and he used his fullbring power over matter to create a cross that resembles the Quincy cross. Now that he had developed his Fullbring power to the limit he had to remove the Hōgyoku from the gigai that Urahara must have given Rukia by now, but he also had to begin his training on his Quincy powers.
His eyes expanded for a moment, recalling something, "Orihime Inoue," he smiled. "Why don't I start by developing your powers first." Aizen remembered that Shinigami and Fullbringers could transfer their powers. But in this case, he would take hers for himself, a power that transcended even the powers of the Gods themselves.
