The next morning, The alarm clock went off in Ash's room and Pikachu hit the button to turn it off. He looks over to Snowy who also woke up. 'Morning Pikachu" she said in their language.
"Morning Snowy" said Pikachi before the two pokemon looked down to see their sleeping trainers cuddled on the bed below. Snowy and Pikachu climbed down from the top bunk before gently shaking up their trainers. Lillie was the first to wake up before Ash woke up beside her.
"Morning" they both said to each other before sharing a small kiss. Lillie was first to get up before she went to get showered in the spare bathroom and Ash went into his. He and Lillie would be going to the lab since Professor Oak wanted to give them both something.
After getting all cleaned up. Ash and Lillie descended downstairs to see Delia and Mimey were almost finished with breakfast which was pancakes. "Morning Dear, how did you two sleep?" asked Delia.
"Just fine Miss Ketchum." said Lillie.
The three of them soon dug into their breakfast of pancakes while their pokemon ate pokemon food. Once they were done with breakfast. Ash, Lillie, Pikachu and Snowy left the Ketchum Residence to the lab. When they got to the lab, Ash and Lillie saw a minivan pull up to the lab. The door opened and out came a man with maroon hair and light green eyes. He was wearing a pair of glasses, a white lab coat, blue button up shirt, Blue jeans and grey sneakers.
The side doors opened to reveal a woman with long blue hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white lab coat, a green buttoned up shirt and a grey skirt.
The person behind her was a man with messy blonde hair and he too was wearing glasses. He was wearing a white lab coat, a yellow shirt with a magnemite on it, red khaki shorts and grey sneakers.
"Hello there, you must be Ash and Lillie, Samual spoke highly of you two." The man with the maroon hair greeted Ash and Lillie.
"Yeah, but pardon us but who may you be?" asked Lillie, holding Snowy.
"Vul?" asked Snowy, tilting her head.
The man with the yellow hair said. 'An Alolan Vulpix, i never thought i would ever see one this close." he leaned in closer to get a better look at Snowy and he gently petted Snowy earning a coo from her.
"We can tell you have been taking very good care of your Vulpix" said the woman with blue hair.
"Where are my manners, My name is Professor Cerise. It's very nice to meet you Ash and Lillie" said Professor Cerise before he gestured to his lab assistants. 'These two are my lab assistants Chrysa and Ren"
"Hello," they said with a bow to their heads.
"It's nice to meet you" said Ash. the two trainers and the three scientists went inside the lab where Professor Oak and Tracy were doing measurements on Melmetal. "Morning Professor Oak, Tracy" said ASh and Lillie.
'Ah good morning Ash and Lillie, I was just getting ready to record my data on Melmetal here." said Professor Oak.
"Oh my goodness, A real live Melmetal!" exclaimed Ren before he began to look frantically all over Melmetal who could only sweatdrop. "How did you ever find one, Melmetal was believed to be extinct for the last thousand years" Ren asked.
"That is where Ash and Lillie come in," said Professor Oak before he pulled out the data on Meltan and Melmetal thanks to Rotom Dex, many pictures of Meltan and all of its behavior.
"Ash and Lillie attended Pokemon school in the Alola region and their class had a brief encounter with a small group of Pokemon called Meltan which is Melmetals pre-evolved form" said professor oak.
"Amazing, after all this time, Melmetal has a pre-evolved form" said Professor Cerise.
'Yes, Meltan can only evolve into Melmetal with the help of it's fellow Meltan, they combined together to trigger the evolution, much like the legendary pokemon Zygarde for it to change into its forms with it's cells and cores" said Ash.
"Augustine wrote a book about the Kalo's crisis and he even wrote a book about Zygarde and its forms; it's one of his best sellers." said Professor Oak.
'Yeah i even got his book" said Lillie pulling out a dark green book with a Z on it. The title was called. "The Legend of Zygarde"
Tracy and Incineroar who was holding a large steel girder set it down in front of Melmetal. 'Here's your breakfast Melmetal, Enjoy" said Tracy.
Melmetal picked up the girder and absorbed the girder. Melmetal then followed Incineroar out to join the other pokemon.
"So professor, what was it that you wanted to give me and Lillie?" asked Ash.
"Ah yes," said Professor Oak before he pulled out two small silver boxes about the size of a backpack. 'This box is my newest invention, i call it the Pokemon Storage Box, what it's supposed to do is to allow transferring any new pokemon and old pokemon from just about anywhere you go without the need of going to a pokemon center. Also it will serve as storage for all your pokemon.'
"Amazing" said Lillie.
'And you want me and Lillie to test them out?" asked Ash.
"Precisely and i couldn;t trust anyone else to test them out than you my boy" said Professor Oak. Ash and Lillie took the items and Ash noticed that all of his pokeballs for his pokemon were already inside his. "Also I have these for you two" said Professor Oak handing Ash and Lillie two smartphones, Ash's was dark red while Lillie's was white.
"Smartphones?" asked Ash looking at his new item. Professor Cerise then released two Rotoms and they went into the phones much to the shock of the two, Before long. Their phones become Rotom Phones.
"They went inside the phones, just like Rotom dex" exclaimed Ash remembering Rotomdex who was now working with the Aether Paradise with Lusamine.
"Yes, your phones have every known pokemon in the world including the Galar Region." said Professor Cerise.
"The Galar Region?" asked Ash.
"Yes, they have recently been in contact with the other regions too and there are new species of pokemon that can be found over there" said Professor Oak.
"Really," said Ash and Lillie.
"Yep, also, your phones have a GPS System, provide information about locations and landmarks, and vital information such as height. Also it shows how many pokemon you have encountered and caught" said Professor Cerise.
Ash scrolled through his and he saw all of the pokemon he has encountered and the ones he owns. He owns a total of 90 different Pokémon species with thirty of them being Tauros. Lillie only saw that she has three pokemon but she was alright with that.
"Anyway professor, i need to go talk with my pokemon," said Ash. Ash and Lillie went back out into the back. Ash then brought his hands to his mouth and let out a whistle. Moments later all of his pokemon came running to him. Lillie decided to scan all of his pokemon with her phone to register them.
"Ivysaur, the Seed Pokémon. As Ivysaur takes in nutrients, a large flower blooms from the bulb on its back."
"Charizard, the Flame Pokémon. Charizard is a Flying and Fire type. When competing in intense battles, Charizard's flame becomes more intense as well.
"Kingler, The Pincer Pokemon and the evolved form of Krabby. Kinglers large pincers has immensely strong claws used to crush objects"
"Tauros, a Wild Bull Pokémon. When whipping itself with its three tails, its Tackle is a powerful destructive force"
"Snorlax, the Sleeping Pokémon. After eating its fill, Snorlax is too sleepy to move. Small children sometimes play on its belly."
"Heracross, the Single horn Pokemon, Using the sharp claws on its feet, it generates enough firepower to throw an opponent with amazing force."
Bayleaf, the Leaf Pokémon. The evolved form of Chikorita. Bayleaf emits a spicy aroma from the leaves around its neck and its Razor Leaf is extremely powerful."
"Quilava, the Volcano Pokémon, and the evolved form of Cyndaquil. Quilava intimidates foes with its flame's heat, and when ready to battle, the fire burns with more strength)
Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon. Its highly developed jaw is so powerful, it can crush practically anything. Trainers beware: this Pokémon loves to use its teeth."
'Noctowl, the Owl Pokémon, and the evolved form of Hoothoot. Noctowl's eyes have a special power that allows it to see in the faintest light, as if it was the middle of the day. Noctowl never fails at catching prey in darkness. This Pokémon owes its success to its superior vision that allows it to see in minimal light, and to its soft, supple wings that make no sound in flight.'
'Donphan, the Armor Pokémon. Donphan has razor sharp tusks, armor-like skin, and enormous power. Donphan's favorite attack is curling its body into a ball, then charging at its foe while rolling at high speed. Once it starts rolling, this Pokémon can't stop very easily.'
'Swellow, the Swallow Pokémon. Swellow uses its impressive divebomber speed and its large talons to capture its prey. Swellow flies high above our heads, making graceful arcs in the sky. This Pokémon dives at a steep angle as soon as it spots its prey. The hapless prey is tightly grasped by Swellow's clawed feet, preventing escape. Swellow is very conscientious about the upkeep of its glossy wings. Once two Swellow are gathered, they diligently take care of cleaning each other's wings.'
"Sceptile, the Forest Pokémon, and the evolved form of Grovyle. The seeds growing on Sceptile's back are brimming with vitamins that can revitalize trees."
Corphish, the Ruffian Pokemon. Corphish lives anywhere, adapting to its surroundings, its pincers hold on tightly when it catches prey. Corphish catches prey with its sharp claws. It has no likes or dislikes when it comes to food—it will eat anything. This Pokémon has no trouble living in filthy water.'
"Torkoal, the Coal Pokémon. Torkoal burns coal within its body to produce energy. As a defense, Torkoal is able to release smoke from its nostrils and its back to confuse enemies. Torkoal digs through mountains in search of coal. If it finds some, it fills hollow spaces on its shell with the coal and burns it. If it is attacked, this Pokémon spouts thick black smoke to beat a retreat.'
'Glalie, the Face Pokémon. Glalie has a tempered ice body that doesn't melt even under a direct flame. It can freeze vapors in the air instantly. Glalie has a body made of rock, which it hardens with an armor of ice. This Pokémon has the ability to freeze moisture in the atmosphere into any shape it desires.'
Staraptor, the Predator Pokémon. Staraptor has an aggressive temperament and will bravely attack enemies that are far bigger than itself. Staraptor's ferocious nature means that it has no problem challenging much larger opponents. The muscles in its wings and legs are strong. It can easily fly while gripping a small Pokémon.'
Torterra, the Continent Pokémon. Its large back and sanitary nature offer an ideal place for smaller Pokémon to build their nests.'
'Infernape, the Flame Pokémon and the evolved form of Monferno. Infernape's fiery crown reflects its fiery nature, and its speed is unmatched. Its crown of fire is indicative of its fiery nature. It is beaten by none in terms of quickness. It tosses its enemies around with agility. It uses all its limbs to fight in its own unique style.'
Buizel, the Sea Weasel Pokémon. It stores air in the sacs on its neck and uses them as flotation devices, and swims by spinning its two tails like a propeller. It inflates the flotation sac around its neck and pokes its head out of the water to see what is going on.'
.Gliscor, the Fang Scorp Pokémon, and the evolved form of Gligar. It watches its prey as it hangs from trees by its tail and attacks from above when it sees the chance.'
"Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon. Gible once lived in the tropics, and to avoid cold it lives in caves warmed by geothermal heat. It nests in small, horizontal holes in cave walls. It pounces to catch prey that stray too close.
'Unfezant, the Proud Pokémon and the evolved form of Tranquil. Female Unfezant's flying skills surpass that of male Unfezant.'
"Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokémon. Oshawott attacks and defends using the scalchop that can be removed from its stomach. It fights using the scalchop on its stomach. In response to an attack, it retaliates immediately by slashing.'
"Pignite, the Fire Pig Pokémon. Pignite moves faster when its internal flame becomes more intense. This also occurs when it gets angry. Pignite's food converts into fuel for the flame that burns in its stomach, and when fuel burns in its stomach, its speed increases. When its internal fire flares up, its movements grow sharper and faster. When in trouble, it emits smoke.'

'Leavanny, the Nurturing Pokémon and the evolved form of Swadloon. When Leavanny finds a small Pokémon it makes clothing for it with its arm cutters, using leaves and sticky silk. Using sticky threads that come from its mouth, it makes clothes for Sewaddle by sewing leaves together.'
Palpitoad, the Vibration Pokémon. Palpitoad can live both underwater and on dry land. It captures prey by using its long sticky tongue. When they vibrate the bumps on their heads, they can make waves in water or earthquake-like vibrations on land.'
'Boldore, the Ore Pokémon and the evolved form of Roggenrola. Because Boldore cannot contain its massive energy, orange crystals form on its body. They glow when Boldore's energy overflows.'
''Krookodile, the Intimidation Pokémon and the evolved form of Krokorok. Krookodile can see faraway objects as if through binoculars. Its jaws are strong enough to crush a car.'
Talonflame, the Scorching Pokémon and the evolved form of Fletchinder. During an intense battle, Talonflame expels embers from gaps between its feathers. It reaches speeds of more than three-hundred miles per hour chasing prey."
"Hawlucha, the Wrestling Pokémon. Possessing an artistic way of executing its moves, Hawlucha takes great pride in their elegance"
"Noivern, the Sound Wave Pokémon. The ultrasonic waves Noivern releases from its ears are powerful enough to crush a boulder."
"Greninja, the Ninja Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Froakie. Greninja can compress water into sharp-edged throwing stars. With the grace of a ninja, it slips in and out of sight to attack from the shadows."
Ash then said to his other pokemon beside his Alola pokemon. 'Everyone, i know that i wasn;t a good trainer and i always left you guys on reserve while me and Pikachu kept on traveling but now i want to bring you all with me on new adventures"
His pokemon were excited to hear that and that they would be joining Ash on his new adventure as a researcher.
"And I'm also going to get some of our old friends back that we miss" said Ash in reference to Pidgeot, Squirtle,Butterfree, Primeape, Lapras and Goodra. His kanot team knew that he was speaking about them too while his kalos team thought of Goodra.
"In fact, i'm actually going to go find an old friend who is waiting for me in the forest right now so Charizard, Ivysaur. Feeling up for searching for Pidgeot?" asked Ash.
Chariard and Ivysaur nodded wanting to find their friend too before coming over to him. Ash, Lillie, Pikachu, Snowy, Ivysaur and Charizard left the ranch towards the forest to find Pidgeot. "Is pidgeot one of your pokemon that you released Ash?" asked Lillie.
"Yeah, "It was after the Indigo League and we were on our way to the Orange Islands with Misty and Brock when we were attacked by a Fearow I made mad when I first became a trainer. Fearow and his flock were terrorizing the forest and a flock of Pidgey and Pidgeotto. Pidgeot when she was a Pidgeotto evolved and managed to defeat Fearow. Fearow fled and I knew that Fearow would keep on terrorizing the forest and so I left Pidgeot to be the flock leader since they needed her more than me. I promised her I would return but I didn't keep my word."
"You did what you thought was right Ash. That Fearow probably is still terrorizing the forest and those Pidgeys and Pidgeotto were defenseless against a full grown Fearow." said Lillie putting her hand on her boyfriend's , "Pidgeot will forgive you for not keeping your promise,"
Ash looked at her with a smile "Thanks Lillie."
Soon they arrived at the very same spot where Ash had released Pidgeot. "Pidgeot!, its me Ash, I'm sorry i didn't come back when i promised i did." shouted Ash in the distance. Lillie and Snowy else joined in calling out for Pidgeot. Pikachu, Charizard and Ivysaur also shouted out for Pidgeot. After several hours of searching and the sun getting close to setting, Ash sighed. "Maybe it's for the best, She must hate me for not coming back" He said with a sad face.
.Lillie nodded before planning to return to the ranch when the couple heard buzzing noise. The two and their pokemon looked to see one hundred angry Beedrill. "Beedrill!" shouted Ash and Lillie taking off running away from the Beedrill with their pokemon. "They must be angry that we woke them up with our shouting." said Lillie.
"Why does this happen to us!" screamed Ash until they were surrounded by a more Beedrill. Charizard and Ivysaur got ready for a fight. "Were sorry that we woke you up Beedrill, Please calm down" said Lillie. The Beedrill were still angry and one prepared to sting Ash until they heard. "GEOT!" A Large Pidgeot in its Mega Form tackled the Beedrill away and it fainted. . "A Mega Pidgeot!" said Lillie. Mega Pidgeot used a powerful Gust attack to scare off the Beedrill. Mega Pidgoet landed before looking at the two humans and pokemon. "Thank you so much for scaring off those Beedrill Pidgeot '' said Lillie thanking the bird before she noticed how big this one was. /Wow this is one of the biggest Pidgeots i've ever seen/ she thought before taking notes of the bird with her Rotom Phone.
Ash however noticed that this pidgeot was staring at him with teary eyes. "Pidgeot is that really you girl?" he asked.
"Geot!" said Pidgeot as she reverted back to her normal form. A Pidgeotite was in her claws. "No way, this is your Pidgeot Ash" said Lillie
"Wow being out here must have made you a lot bigger and Stronger huh girl" said Ash praising Pidgeot
Pidgeot hugged her trainer with her massive wings. How she missed him very much. Pikachu, Charizard and Ivysaur joined in happy to see their friend again. Pidgeot's flock landed before them. All of them looked at their leader hugging her trainer. Ash and his pokemon let go of the bird. Lilllie quickly scanned them with her phone.
Pidgey, The Tiny Bird Pokemon, It usually hides in tall grass, because it dislikes fighting, it protects itself by kicking up sand."
"Pidgeotto, The Bird Pokemon and the evolve form of Pidgey, It has outstanded vision however high it flies, it is able to distinguish the movement of its prey"
"Pidgeot, The Bird Pokemon, and the final form of Pidgey, It can fly at twice the speed of sound at an altitude of nearly one mile. By flapping its wings with its might, Pidgeot can make a gust of wind capable of bending trees"
"You gotten so much bigger girl, I'm sorry that i didn't come back for you when i promised i would. can you ever forgive me?"asked Ash. Pidgeot shook her head. She wasn't mad at him. She knew that Ash wanted her to stay to protect her fellow pidgeys and pidgeottos .Pidgeot looked at Ivysaur and she recognized him as Bulbasaur although he evolved and Charizard who was no longer being disobedient to Ash. but she was curious of Lillie and Snowy.
Lillie my girlfriend" said Ash introducing them to her.
Pidgeot beamed knowing her human found his mate. She bowed to Lillie with her wing on her chest.
"It's nice to meet you Pidgeot, Ash has told us a lot about you" said Lillie. Snowy greeted the bird with a smile. Ash pulled out up her old pokeball."Do you want to rejoin me Pidgeot? I know that Fearow is still causing trouble here in the forest." "Pidge, Pidgeot," said Pidgeot using her wings to point to a nearby spearow and his pokeball. "Really, The Fearow leader was caught by another trainer two years ago?" said Ash.
"Geot," nodded Pidgeot before she looked at her flock.

"My friends, the time has come for me to leave you," said Pidgeot looking at her flock. The other pidgeots looked at her and nodded. "We will miss you great leader." said the new flock leader.
"Keep my lessons close to you and watch each other," said Ash's Pidgeot.

The flock nodded and they all took off to the sky leaving her. She waved goodbye to her flock but she wanted to be back with her Trainer. Pidgeot looked at Ash and she smiled. Ash with a big smile said "Pidgeot Return!"
Pidgeot was recalled to her pokeball. Ash looked at the pokeball in his hand "Welcome back girl," he said tossing the pokeball into the air releasing Pidgeot. She had a smile on her face before she lowered herself to allow ash and Lillie on her back. They took the memo and got on and she took flight at once. Charizard followed with Ivysaur and Pikachu on his back. Moments later the ranch appeared and waiting for them was Professor Oak, Professor Cerise, Ren, Chrysa, and Delia.
Pidgeot and Charizard landed in front of them. "I see you found your pidgeot my boy, it's lovely to see you again Pidgeot" said Professor Oak putting his hand on the bird's face.
"Geot," said Pidgeot. She then saw the other pokemon who belonged to Ash to come greet her.
"'Everybody, this is Pidgeot, Pidgeot meet all the pokemon i caught during my journey" said Ash. Pidgeot waved to them with her wing and the pokemon exchange welcomes. Pidgeot got along with the flying types really quick and all of Ash's other pokemon. Ash and Lillie were back inside the lab again with the two professors.
"I forgot to mention to you two about Raid Battles." Professor Oak said looking at Ash and Lillie,
"Raid Battles?" asked the two.
"Yes, a Raid Battle is when a pokemon that is stronger than any other pokemon appears and trainers band together to try to defeat it. One trainer may try to capture the pokemon and some of them have been known to have Legendary Pokemon appear too." explained Professor Cerise.
"Legendary pokemon in raid battles?Awesome" said Ash who looked more than eager to have battles with Legendary Pokemon.
"Yes, and according to our data, we believe a Raid Battle will take place tomorrow in Vermillion City, what we don't know what it kind of pokemon it might be." said Renji,
Ash could be even more excited for the raid battle tomorrow and he looked at pikachu who was also determined to join in a raid battle. Ash and Lillie returned to the ketchum residence to get some much needed sleep for tomorrow.
