Morning came over Vermillion City and life continued on. Ash woke up to look at the sleeping form of Lillie who was sleeping on her side with her face near his. He gently stroked her face making her smile before she woke up. 'morning " she said with a yawn.
'Morning Lillie-Flower, did you have a good sleep?" asked Ash.
"I did" said Lillie before long. The two rose out of bed and after getting showered separately and dressed. Ash and Lillie were now feeding the pokemon their breakfast when Goh and Chloe came to them. 'Morning, did you guys sleep well?" asked Goh.
"Yeah, how about you two?" asked Ash, pouring pokemon food and star candy into Nebby's bowl.
"Just fine" they replied. Ash and Lillie then went back into their house after getting their Pokemon for breakfast with Goh and Chloe and the two had a quick breakfast of pancakes made by Lillie.
"So what's on the agenda today?" asked Ash after finishing his last pancake.
"We'll there's been rumors of Pokemon growing giant in the Galar Region and I want to investigate it" said Goh.
"Pokemon becoming giants?" exclaimed Ash and Lillie at the same time.
"Yeah and so i want to head to the Galar region as soon as possible" Goh said.
"Hold up Goh. I have someone bringing someone to me and I'm waiting for them to arrive" said Ash crossing his arms.
"Who?" asked Chloe now curious as was Goh.
A car horn was heard before Ash said with a smile. "He's here'
He stood up to head out to greet Anthony and Primeape and the three followed suitly. Ash going down the steps right outside the house saw Anthony and Rebecca out of a red sports car. "Thanks for bringing me Primeape Anthony and thanks for looking after him" Said Ash shaking Anthony's hand.
'My pleasure Ash, Here's primeapes pokeball" said Anthony handing Ash Primeape's Pokeball.
'Primeape?" asked Goh before he pulled out his phone to look it up. ""Primeape, The Pig Monkey Pokémon, Always furious and tenacious to boot. It will not abandon chasing its quarry until it is caught."
Ash then said "Come on out Primeape!"
In a flash did Primeape appeared with his G-1 belt on
"Good to see you Primeape" said Ash before he was given a tight hug from Primeape.
"Prime!' said Primeape. His eyes were full of happiness. Ash smiled returning the hug. He said. "hang on I got you a gift"
Primeape was curious and let him go. Ash reached into his backpack and pulled out his Kanto hat. He placed it on his head and primeape looked at the hat. He did like the hat. "I wore many other hats after this one and I thought you would want it" said Ash. Primeape was very happy to rejoin his trainer.
"Take good care of Primeape Ash, he's learned everything I taught him" said Anthony.
"Thanks Anthony and I will" said Ash. Anthony and Rebecca then got back in their car and drove off. Ash quickly brought Primeape into Cerise Park where he quickly called for his pokemon. All of them noticed Primeape with him. 'Everyone, this is Primeape, one of my oldest pokemon" said Ash.
Primeape soon found itself meeting all of ash's fighting type pokemon.. Scraggy headbutted Primeape which made all of Ash's pokemon tense up including his Kanto Pokemon remembering his temper. Primeape started to laugh at the young pokemon. He patted his head for he wouldn't hurt a young pokemon. He looked at Hawlucha. "Prime, Primeape"
"Haw, Hawlucha," said Hawlucha and the two began to talk about their past battles. Ash was happy they were becoming fast friends. Hawlucha and Primeape wished to test each other's strength out and fist bumped. For Ash's team for today, he chose his hoenn team which is Sceptile, Corphish, Swellow, Glalie and Aggron. The four of them went into the lab where Professor Cerise, Ren and Chrysa were at work.
'Professor, we've heard about pokemon growing bigger and turning into giants in the Galar region is this true?" asked Lillie.
'Oh yes, it's a phenomenon that happens in the Galar Region. Are you four going there to investigate?" asked Professor Cerise
"Aye" said the four.
"Then go forth and experience it for yourself" said Cerise. The four quickly then caught a ride to the airport before purchasing Tickets for the nearest Airport which is in Wyndon. The flight was about a good three hours before the Galar region came into View. Ash, Lillie, Goh, Chloe. Pikachu, Snowy and Eevee looked at the Galar region with interest. "I wonder what kind of pokemon we'll meet here?" asked Lillie.
"Who knows but I'm eager to see them," Said Ash. their plane landed in Wyndon Airport and the four of them quickly got off to head towards the Wild Area, The area known where they can find the giant pokemon.
They saw a Corviknight next to a basket before the four of them went over to the man. "Ah hello kids, need a lift with Corviknight Taxi?" asked the man.
'Yeah, we're heading for the Wild Area." said Ash. The four climbed in the basket and Corviknight took flight with them in tow.
Go then decided to ask the taxi driver about the rumor of pokemon becoming Giants. Is this true about pokemon becoming Giants here in the Galar Region?" asked Goh
The man said. "New around here huh kids? Yes it's actually called Dynamax"
"Dynamax?" asked the four.
"Yes, a strange phenomenon that has existed here in the Galar Region for a long time" said the man. Just then a strange mist came out of nowhere making Corviknight struggle a bit to keep moving through the mist since it couldn;t see.
"'This mist is picking up. I'll have to drop your kids off at Postwick. From there you will have an easier time to reach the Wild Area. " said the driver. Before long Postwick is visible to them. Postwick is a small town which had a few farms and tending the farms was some of the farmers.
They landed and gave the man some money for their taxi fare. 'Take care kids and oh here's some info. Postwick is actually the hometown of our champion. Leon, take a chance to tour it" said the man before he left on his Corviknight.
The four trainers looked around the small town noticing the new pokemon that they had never seen before. What caught their attention is a group of sheep-like Pokémon with a thick coat of white wool that makes it look spherical. Its small, black head pokes out of the front of the wool, along with two short horns. Its eyes have yellow sclerae, black irises, and white, horizontal pupils. Two large ears are visible behind gray strings of wool that resemble braided pigtails. Its hoofed legs are short and mostly hidden by the wool, along with a tail that is barely visible on its rear end.
"What pokemon are those?" asked Ash before he pulled out his rotom phone to scan the sheep.
"Wooloo, The Sheep Pokemon, A Normal Type, Its curly fleece is such an effective cushion that this Pokémon could fall off a cliff and stand right back up at the bottom, its fleece grows too long, Wooloo won't be able to move. Cloth made with the wool of this Pokémon are surprisingly strong."
"Oh my Arceus! They are just so cute!" exclaimed Lillie with hearts in her eyes before dashing over to the Wooloo. Ash could only shake his head with a smile seeing Lillie cuddling with one of the Wooloo with a smile. Pulling out his phone. He snapped a picture of Lillie with the Wooloo. Before long, Lillie regained her senses and left the Wooloo alone. 'I definitely want one...I'm catching A Wooloo before we leave Galar Ash" said Lillie.
"Sure thing Lillie-Flower" Ash said to his girlfriend as the four of them walked away. The Wooloo that Lillie cuddled with began to follow after them.
Eevee was in Chloe's arms taking in the sight of the Galar Region. Before too long, a trainer with short black hair noticed Ash and the group and he said. 'Hey, you're a pokemon trainer right?"
"Yeah," said Ash.
"I challenge you to a two on two battle." said the trainer.
Ash never backs down from a challenge before he says. 'Alright, i accept"
Lillie could only giggle with a smile. No matter where Ash does, he will never back down from a challenge. Go, Chloe and Lillie stood to the side as a crowd of people and pokemon gathered to watch the battle. In the crowd is a dark-skinned boy with purple hair and yellow eyes. He wears a blue fur-rimmed jacket with a black shirt and pants, the latter with two purple stripes on the sides, black, white and purple sneakers and carries a green duffel bag. Right beside him is a Wooloo..
'Look Wooloo, someone is challenging Kieth again." said the boy.
'Woo" bleated Wooloo.
"Alright for my first choice I'm choosing my Dubwool" said Kieth tossing a pokeball to release a sheep-like Pokémon, with most of its body covered by a round coat of white wool with some black patches around it. It has a gray woolly ring around its head from which two small curved horns extrude below its head. Its head is mostly black with a white patch surrounding its mouth and nose and extending to its forehead in three petal-like tips. It has two larger, longer, dark horns on top of its head which curve backwards. Its nose is pink and its eyes are yellow with black irises and white horizontal pupils with small gray eyebrows above them. Its legs are black with a visible ankle and with brown hooves. It also has a short, black, pointy tail.
Ash and Lillie quickly pull out their phones to scan the new pokemon. "Dubwool, The Sheep Pokemon and the evolved form of Wooloo, a Normal Type, Weave a carpet from its springy wool, and you end up with something closer to a trampoline. You'll start to bounce the moment you set foot on majestic horns are meant only to impress the opposite gender. They never see use in battle."
'The evolved form of Wooloo, ' said Goh.
"Wooloo is much cuter" muttered Lillie.
'Alright Pikachu, I'm sticking with you" said Ash before Pikachu went out on the battlefield. His cheeks sparked with electricity. The crowd had caught the attention of Leon and his Charizard who came over to see the battle about to begin.
'Battle starts!" said a bystander acting as Ref.
"Dubwool use Takedown on Pikachu!" said Keith.
"Wool!" said Dubwool before it's horns glowed as it ran towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu use Iron Tail" said Ash.
Pikachu jumped in the air and his tail glowed white as he clashed with Dubwool's take down attack. Dubwool took recoil damage from the attack before shaking it off. "Use Defense Curl" said Keith.
Dubwool curled up into a ball as it increased its defenses a bit before waiting for its next command. 'Now go in for Double Edge!" said Keith.
Dubwool then glowed with a white aura before running towards Pikachu again. The attack sent Pikachu flying but he did a quick recovery. "Pikachu! Are you alright?" asked Ash in concern for his partner.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu who was just getting started. Leon could feel the bond between them but who was he?
"You got this Ash, Pikachu!" exclaimed Lillie cheering for her boyfriend. Goh and Chloe were silently watching the battle. Leon's eyes widened before he looked at Ash and Pikachu, /so this is Ash, The champion of Alola. Let's see how strong you really are./
"Dubwool use Double Edge again!" said Keith.
Dubwool ran straight for Pikachu again with it's double edge attack. "Pikachu use Electro-Web" said Ash.
Pikachu formed an Electro Ball before firing it at Dubwool as it became an electric spider web. Dubwool was caught in the attack and Dubwool received a very good shock. "Alright buddy, wrap this up with Volt Tackle!
"Pika, Pika!' Pikachu said. Pikachu runs at Dubwool. his body then becomes surrounded by golden electricity, and he tackles the Dubwool really hard.. While covered in electricity, Pikachu's body looks black and white. When hit by recoil damage, its body becomes surrounded by yellow sparks of electricity. Dubwool crashed in the wall of a stone fence. 'Dubwool!" exclaimed Keith. Dubwool had swirls in its eyes meaning that it fainted.
"Dubwool is unable to battle. Pikachu is the victor" said the Ref.
"Great work buddy, come on back for a rest" Said ash. Pikachu ran back to Ash and he picked him up before hugging him.
Kieth recalled dubwool to its pokeball. "Thanks Dubwool. You earned a good rest"
Kieth then pulled out his second choice. 'Your pretty good but my next pokemon is my strongest. Go Coalossal!"
Coming out of the pokeball is a Pokemon that resembles a massive goliath with a body of coal atop of it. It has a large, coal-black body, with two legs and a pair of stubby arms, alongside two massive spikes for elbows. It bears a head consisting of a pair of eyes and a mouth, atop which it carries a large amount of heated coal.
"Coalossal!" roared Coalossal.
'What is that?" asked Ash before he pulled out his rotom phone to analyze the new pokemon. "Coalossal, The Coal Pokemon, A Rock and Fire Type, It's usually peaceful, but the vandalism of mines enrages it. Offenders will be incinerated with flames that reach 2,700 degrees it's engaged in battle, its mountain of coal will burn bright red, sending off sparks that scorch the surrounding area"
/Kiawe would love to have this pokemon since it's a fire type" Lillie thought.
"Aggron, I choose you!" said Ash, sending out Aggron. Aggron appeared in a flash as he roared ready for a battle. "Aggron, this will be our first battle together, are you ready?" Ash asked.
"Aggron!' said Aggron.
Goh pulled out his phone to scan Aggron. "Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. Aggron's steel horns can destroy the firmest of bedrock and it digs tunnels as it looks for iron to eat."
"Coalossal has the advantage since it's part fire type and Aggron is a steel type as well as a rock type." Goh muttered.
"Type advantage means nothing to Ash. just wait and see" said Lillie.
"Coalossal use Flamethrower!, this is going to be an easy win" said Kieth. Coalossal opened its mouth to fire a Flamethrower attack towards Aggron.
"Counter with Flash Cannon Aggron" said Ash.
Aggron fired his Flash Cannon to cancel out the Flamethrower attack. "Such power" muttered the boy who was identical to Leon.
"Woo" said Wooloo.
"Coalossal use mega punch!" said Kieth. Coalossal started to run towards Aggron with a mega Punch attack formed.
"Aggron, Brick Break" said Ash.
Aggron formed it's brick Break attack running towards Coalossal. Their attacks met in a clash of brute strength.
'Keep up the Mega Punch Coalossal," said Kieth.
"You as well Aggron with Focus Punch" said Ash. Aggron and Coalossal then began to furiously fight each other with Mega Punch and Focus Punch and both powerhouses were showing no signs of backing down any time soon. The crowd could only cheer to witness such a battle. Aggron and Coalossal both manage to land a hit on each other before skidding back after several minutes of exchanging punches.
"Coalossal use Tar Shot!" said Kieth. Coalossal fired a blob of sticky Tar towards Aggron who was covered in it. "Gron?" asked Aggron trying to shake the Tar off him.
"Tar Shot?" asked Goh.
"It's Coalossal's signature move" Leon said, making everyone notice his presence. "Tar Shot lowers the target's Speed stat by one stage. In addition, it doubles the effectiveness of Fire-type moves used on the target."
"Now use Flamethrower again Coalossal!" said Kieth. Coalossal then fired another Flamethrower at Aggron and this time. The attack hits and Aggron takes a lot of Damage from the super effective move. "Aggron!" Ash shouted.
"Pikapi" said Pikachu.
Aggron was on its knees hurt pretty bad from the fire type move. "Don't give up Aggron, i;m not leaving your side, show me that you can still battle!" Ash said trying to motivate Aggron. Aggron believing his new trainers words stood up with determination as he roared. "Aggron!"
"That's the spirit Aggron!" said Ash.
/He is able to motivate his pokemon with words, Remarkable, The other champions were telling the truth./ Leon thought.
'Alright Aggron, Follow my lead!" Ash said before he activated his Steelium-Z Crystal in his Z-Power Ring.
"Aggron!' said Aggron. Everyone minus Lillie and Snowy were confused about what Ash was doing. Ash and Aggron moved as one as they did the Steel Type z-pose. Aggron was full of z-power as the symbol appeared in front of him.
"Get ready! Use Corkscrew Crash!" Ash said. Aggron jumps into the air before It jumps into the air and spins around rapidly, turning into a Silver drill before going straight for Coalossal. 'Block it Coalossal!" said Keith.
Coalossal moved its arms to guard itself from the Z-move and held it back for a few seconds before it was overpowered and pushed Coalossal into a stone fence. Aggron stopped using the attack and stood over it. Coalossal had fainted from the Z-move.
"Coalossal is unable to battle. Therefore Ash wins this battle" said the Ref.
"Way to go Aggron!" Ash praised before long, Aggron came over and hugged him with a big smile. He patted his snout. The crowd could only clap after seeing such a good battle. Keith walked over to Coalossal and recalled it into its pokeball. 'Great work Coalossal, return" He said.
'Hey, thanks for a good battle, ' Ash said, walking over to Keith and offering his hand to Keith. Kieth shook it before a clap was heard.
"Well that's what i like to see, good sportsmanship when it comes to pokemon battles not to mention the thrill of watching other people right everyone" said Leon gesturing to the crowd.
Everyone cheered before some children came over to Leon asking for Autographs. "Mr. Leon, can we have an autograph?" asked a boy.
"You sure can" said Leon before he signed the boy's book.
"Your Leon, The Galar Champion?" asked Ash.
"And you must be Ash, The champion of Alola, Charles Goodshow and the other champions speak highly of you." said Leon.
When everyone heard the word champion. Everyone looked at Ash in surprise they were seeing the Champion of the Alola Region in their hometown.
"No way, this kid is a Champion?" asked Keith.
"Yep, he's the first ever champion of the Alola League, you know, that is the first time I have ever seen A Z-move in person before." said Leon.
"Thanks but with a great responsibility to respect the power of Z-moves" said Ash. Leon then gestured for Ash to follow him, Lillie, Goh and Chloe quickly caught up with them along with the boy identical with Wooloo. "Hey Lee!" said the boy.
Leon looked back to see the boy before he grinned. "Hop, you came to see your big brother"
"Big brother?" asked Lillie.
"Yeah, I'm Hop and this is my Wooloo. Leon's my big brother" said Hop introducing himself and his Wooloo.
"Names Goh" said Goh
"I'm Chloe, very nice to meet your acquaintance and my partner Eevee" said Chloe with a bow. Eevee hopped out of her arms and greeted Hops Wooloo and the sheep was very friendly.
'Nice to meet you, my Name is Lillie and this is Snowy" said Lillie introducing herself and Snowy.
"Vul?" asked Snowy.
"A white Vulpix, that's new" said Hop looking at Snowy.
'That's because little brother like in Galar, Alola has some pokemon with regional forms too. Vulpix in Alola are ice types and its evolved form Ninetails are ice and fairy types." said Leon.
"Galar has regional forms for some pokemon too?" asked Ash.
"Yep and some of them have evolved forms." said Leon before they reached the house that belongs to Hop and Leon. It is a two story house with a battlefield in front of it that was half blue and red. "Alright Hop, i did remember my promise to you and since it's your birthday, you can now choose one of the three Galar starter pokemon to be your partner" said Leon before tossing three pokeballs into the air to release three pokemon.
The first pokemon is a chimp-like Pokémon, with a green colored body, brown tail and ears, and orange limbs and snout. It has two large eyes with a beige-colored mask surrounding them. It has two leaf-shaped hair tufts that hold a stick on the top of its head.(Grookey)
The second pokemon is a rabbit-like Pokémon that has a predominantly white body with orange and yellow markings on its ears, toes, and neck. It has buckteeth, an orange nose and irises, as well as a yellow band shape across its nose, resembling a bandage. It has long legs with long feet and the same yellow band on its nose under each paw pad.(Scorbunny)
The third pokemon is a small Pokémon that has light blue skin with darker teal patches and a lighter blue belly and face. It has similar teal eyes with white pupils and scelerae. It also has a yellow fin-like protrusion from the top of its head bordered in dark blue, as well as a curled blue tail tipped in the same dark blue. It has thin limbs, each ending in two thin appendages, it can use these to stick to walls and easily climb them.(Sobble)
"Aww they're so cute!" exclaimed Lillie on seeing the three galar starters before the four researchers pull out their phones to scan them.
"Grookey, The Chimp Pokemon, A Grass Type, When it uses its special stick to strike up a beat, the sound waves produced carry revitalizing energy to the plants and flowers in the attacks with rapid beats of its stick. As it strikes with amazing speed, it gets more and more pumped"
"Scorbunny, The Rabbit Pokemon, A Fire Type, A warm-up of running around gets fire energy coursing through this Pokémon's body. Once that happens, it's ready to fight at full has special pads on the backs of its feet, and one on its nose. Once it's raring to fight, these pads radiate tremendous heat.
"Sobble, The Water Lizard Pokemon, A Water Type, When scared, this Pokémon cries. Its tears pack the chemical punch of 100 onions, and attackers won't be able to resist it gets wet, its skin changes color, and this Pokémon becomes invisible as if it were camouflaged"
"They all look like great choices to have as pokemon" ash said on seeing the Galar starters.
"So Hop, which one will you choose?" asked Leon. Hop studied the three pokemon before his sight was on Sobble. "Sobble, would you like to become my Partner?"
Sobble climbed up on his arm before Leon handed him Sobble's pokeball. He then noticed that Goh didn't have a pokemon, "How about you Goh, would you like to have Grookey or Scorbunny as your Starter?" asked Leon.
Scorbunny approached Goh and it studied him before it did a jump with its feet and Goh raised his hand to high five it. "Scorbunny, I can tell your a very interesting pokemon. Although I want Mew as my starter pokemon but i realized to get to Mew i will need to catch every pokemon i encounter. So Scorbunny, want to become my partner?" asked Goh.
"Bunny!" said Scorbunny with a nod. Goh then recieved Scorbunny's pokeball from Leon and five pokeballs. Grookey was sadden that it wasn't chosen by any trainers. Ash got down on his knees to look at Grookey. "don't feel bad Grookey. i'm sure someone will pick you. your one interesting pokemon"
"Grook!" Grookey replied before it smacked its branch on the ground. creating some sounds that spread to the flowers which made them bloom a bit more. Leon then replied."why don;t you take Grookey for yourself Ash...there won't be another trainer for another month and Grookey would be all alone"
"Really you wouldn't mind Leon?" asked Ash looking at the Galar Champion.
"not at all" said Leon. Ash looked down to Grookey who studied him with its curious eyes. "So Grookey want to come along with us?"
"Grook!" said Grookey before it climbed on his other shoulder with a smile. Leon handed Ash Grookey's pokeball to him. "My first Galar pokemon. isn't it great pikachu?" Ash asked Pikachu, "Pika!"
"I trust that you three will take good care of them" Leon said with a grin.
"We will Leon," said the three. Just then the Wooloo that was being snuggled by Lillie petted it's head against her hand. She looked down to see the Wooloo from earlier. "You're that wooloo from earlier."
Wooloo bleated before one of Lillie's pokeballs fell out of her pocket and it rolled right in front of it. The sheep pokemon tapped it with it's foot and was then caught. Lillie beamed that she got herself a Wooloo. 'Wooloo, I just caught myself a Wooloo" she said, holding the pokeball in front of her. (Very similar to Serena when she catches a pokemon) .
"Vul!" said Snowy.
"Congratulations Lillie" said Ash.
Just then a woman wearing a sundress came running towards them with her own Wooloo. "Leon!" she shouted frantically.
"What is it, Mrs Eckart?" asked Leon.
'Some of the children have wandered off into the Slumbering Weald after a Wooloo!" said Mrs. Eckart.
"The Slumbering Weald!" exclaimed Hop and Leon.
"What's the Slumbering Weald?" asked Lillie.
'Its a forest and it's forbidden to enter because a pokemon has made its home in the forest. Nobody has ever seen this mysterious pokemon and until we know for sure if it's dangerous. The Slumbering Weald has been declared as off limits." Leon said.
"We better go and get them before they get hurt," said Hop. The five trianers and their pokemon then headed to the Slumbering Weald which the entrance to the forest is not too far from town. When the five trainers entered the Slumbering Weald. The forest was very misty and so far, no signs of any pokemon were seen. Ash quickly sent out Sceptile and Swellow. The two Hoenn pokemon appeared with a flash and Sceptile put his signature twig in its mouth. 'Sceptile, Swellow, we need your help to locate some missing children, ' said Ash.
"Sceptile!, Swellow!" said his two pokemon.
"Your Sceptile and Swellow look well raised Ash" said Leon.
"Thanks, your charizard looks strong too" said Ash. The five trainers and their pokemon begin to travel through the misty forest until they come across a pokemon resembling a squirrel-like Pokémon. It is grayish-brown in color, with a large fluffy tail, which is dark-grayish-brown at the top. Skwovet has a light-grayish-brown underbelly, and the color extends to its mouth and parts of its cheeks. Its cheeks are normally stuffed with berries. It has two orange freckles underneath each eye and an orange nose. Its ears are similar in color with its tail, and they have orange insides.
"Skwovet, The Cheeky Pokemon, A normal Type, Found throughout the Galar region, this Pokémon becomes uneasy if its cheeks are ever completely empty of berries. It eats berries nonstop—a habit that has made it more resilient than it looks. It'll show up on farms, searching for yet more berries."
It was just eating an Oran Berry and Goh saw this as an opportunity to make his first capture. 'Go Pokeball!" said Goh tossing a Pokeball towards Skwovet who was distracted by eating and it was sucked into the pokeball. The pokeball moved a bit before a ding was heard meaning that the pokemon was caught. "Skwovets data will now be added to the pokedex '' Goh's phone went off.
'Excellent, the first of many captures" said Goh before he released Skwovet. It appeared in a flash before Goh handed it its unfinished berry and it ate it. "Skwovet, were looking for some missing children, can you help us find them?" asked Goh.
"Wovet!' saud Skwovet before it gestured for them to follow it. The group followed Goh's newly caught Skwovet before coming up on another new pokemon up on the tree. This pokemon is a bug type with five body segments, and is covered in sensitive setae that it uses to collect information about its environment. The dorsal half of its ovular head is a dark blue, and the ventral half is beige. Blipbug's large, reflective eyes resemble glasses. It has a small mouth and eyebrow-like markings that give it a perpetually surprised expression.
'Who's that pokemon?" asked Lillie before pulling out her phone to scan it. "Blipbug, The Larva Pokemon, A constant collector of information, this Pokémon is very smart. Very strong is what it isn' found in gardens, this Pokémon has hairs on its body that it uses to assess its surroundings"
"There normally found just about anywhere in the Galar Region" said Hop. Blipbug saw them and fired a string shot at the nearest person which was Chloe until Eevee used its Copycat to fire String shot at the wild Blipbug sending it down... "Quick Chloe, catch it while it's down" said Lillie.
"I don;t have any pokeballs!" exclaimed Chloe before Ash gave her one. "Here take this one" he said.
She nodded before tossing the pokeball at the downed Blipbug and it was a great catch. The pokeball wiggled on the ground before a ding was heard meaning that Blipbug was caught. Her pink rotom phone also went off. "Blipbug's data will be added to the Pokedex,"
Yamper grabbed the pokeball with her mouth and brought it back to Chloe who took the pokeball. 'You did a good job on catching that Blipbug, ' said Ash.
"Thanks and you too Grookey" She said before she sent out her new capture. Blipbug appeared right alongside Skwovet. 'Blipbug, were searching for some children in the forest, Have you seen them?" asked Chloe.
'Blip" nodded Blipbug before it pointed in the direction they were heading for."Great,Thanks Blipbug" said Chloe before her new bug type climbed up on Eevee's back. "Eevee" said Eevee, greeting the bug type.
"Lets keep going guys, those kids have to be somewhere in the forest." said Ash when he heard a pair of flapping wings. He and the others saw a small bird-like Pokémon that has is yellow, including its wings, tail, back and part of its head. The lower part of its body and chest is yellow and has a black part that begins from under its wings to its face, from which feathers protrude over its head, giving it a mask-like appearance. It has red eyes and small gray feet and bird pokemon then pecks the ground before pulling out a worm and eating it.
"Who's that pokemon?" asked Ash before scanning the bird.
"Rookidee, The Tiny Bird Pokemon, It will bravely challenge any opponent, no matter how powerful. This Pokémon benefits from every battle—even a defeat increases its strength a nimbly about, this small-bodied Pokémon takes advantage of even the slightest opportunity to disorient larger opponents."
"Rookidees are normally dark blue, not yellow" said Hop before stars swirled around the bird indicating that this Rookidee is a Shiny Pokemon. "A Shiny Rookidee, those are very rare." said Leon utter shock.
Ash on seeing the bird knew he just had to have that Rookidee, "Pikachu, let's battle that Rookidee."
"Pika!" said Pikachu before jumping off his shoulder and his cheeks sparked. Rookidee on seeing Pikachu flapped its wings before diving down with a Peck attack. "Dodge it quick Pikachu!" said Ash.
Pikachu dodged the attack from Rookidee but the bird's wings glow light blue. It fires multiple white glowing saw disc-like energy blades from its wings.
"It knows Air Slash, Now i want this Pokemon even more, Pikachu use Electro Ball!" said Ash.
Pikachu dodged the Air Slash attack before he formed his Electro Ball attack and fired it at Rookidee. Rookidee was hit by the super effective move but kept on flying. "Rookidee's are known to never give up in battle" Hop said.
"Just my kind of Pokemon, Pikachu get ready to use Thunderbolt." said Ash.
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu firing a Thunderbolt attack towards Rookidee, Rookidee received a full blast of the Thunderbolt before falling down defeated. "Go Pokeball!" said ash tossing a pokeball towards Rookidee. The tiny bird pokemon was sucked into the pokeball and it begin to move around a bit. Before long, Rookidee was caught by Ash and he approached the pokeball and held it. His Phone went off before he looked at his phone. "Rookidee's data will now be added to the pokedex, do you wish to send your rookidee to the storage unit or keep it in your party by exchanging a pokemon." Ash decided to send back Glalie to keep Rookidee with him. After sending Glalie back to Cerise park, Ash sent out his new pokemon. Stars swirled around it after being released. Rookidee landed on his other shoulder. "Rookidee, let's become great partners for now on." ash said.
"Rooki" said Rookidee with a chirp before flying over to Swellow and Sceptile, they too greeted their new teammate with a smile. "Rookidee, we're searching for some children that wandered off in here. Can you help us find them?" asked Ash.
"Dee!" said Rookidee before taking flight and Swellow followed suitly. Altaria followed right behind them and before too long, they saw several children holding onto a Wooloo on a broken tree barely dangling from a large cliif. The three flying types flew back to their trainers and they got their attention.
"I think they found them, Leon" said Hop before the five trainers ran and found the children who were holding onto Wooloo. "Kids, are you alright?" asked Leon.
"Help us Mr. Leon! We're scared" said a little girl holding onto the tree. The tree was about to give out any second.
"Sceptile, give me a boost up there," said Ash.
Sceptile grabbed ash before using it's jumping skills to land up on the branch where the scared children were. 'Hey kids, we're gonna get you down one at a time okay ' said Ash.
They nodded before Sceptile grabbed one of the children first before hopping down with the boy. Lillie with Goh and Chloe on Altaria flew over to help. Goh hopped off to help as did Leon while the girls stayed on Altaria. Charizard and Swellow made trips to get the children off safely. All that remained was a little girl with brown hair and Wooloo. "Alright, we're going to get you two now." said Ash. he picks up the little girl and Sceptile grabs Wooloo and they jump with Go off the tree as it finally gives up and falls down into the cliff below.
"You kids okay?" asked Leon.
The five children nodded.
"We're sorry Mr. Leon but Wooloo wandered off into here and we didn't want the Mysterious pokemon to hurt it," said a boy.
"All that matters is that you're all safe. Come on, let's go home." said Leon before the five trainers and their pokemon lead them away from the cliff. On their way the mist began to worsen again.
'Everyone sticks together" said Ash as the mist worsened. Everyone stayed together in a circle waiting for the mist to dispel. Chloe and Eevee soon noticed they were alone with Ash,Pikachu and Grookey. Ash then felt a presense in the mist before he shouted. "Whoever is out there! show yourself!"
"Ash i don't think anyone is there" Chloe said but she was wrong when something came out of the mist. a large cyan wolf with yellow eyes, an orange tail, and orange braids going down the side of its body. Two orange fringes of fur are present on its back. Battle scars are visible on its sides, and part of its left ear is missing. The mysterious pokemon stared at the two. Pikachu's cheeks sparked feeling tensed at the presense of the mysterious pokemon. Ash and Chloe pulled out their Rotom Phones and scanned it. "No Data."
"no Data then is it a new pokemon!" asked Ash. The wolf narrowed its eyes at them before lunging at them with a howl. "Loard!"
over to the rest of them. they had become separated from the others as well when Leon felt that something was in the mist watching them, "who's out there! show yourself."
after he said that a magenta wolf with yellow eyes, with a bulkier frame than Zacian's and a ponytail on its head. Its forelimbs, tail, and ponytail are all a deep blue. Its body is covered in battle scars and part of its right ear is missing (which is healed when it enters its Crowned Shield form). Its head and neck have thick fur resembling a shield. The pokemon's yellow eyes studied them.
"who's that pokemon Leon?" asked a child when Goh and Lillie pointed their phones at the mysterious wolf to take a picture to scan. "No Data"
"is it a new pokemon?" asked Hop. The magenta wolf narrowed its eyes before lunged at them with a howl. "Rieed!"
Ash. Chloe, Pikachu and Eevee jumped away from the Cyan Wolf who landed in the spot they were just at. "Chloe, i need you to help me battle this pokemon" said Ash.
"but i.." Chloe said but Eevee interupted her before she stood alongside pikachu. Eevee looked at her trainer before she grinned. "Eevee"
Chloe looked at her starter and then back to the Cyan Wolf who had not moved from its spot."ok. i'll give it a go Eevee."
"Thats the spirit...Pikachu use Iron Tail! Ash gave the first command.
"Eevee use Tackle!" Chloe said.
Pikachu's tail glowed white before he tried to strike the mysterious pokemon only for his attack to go though it. The same thing happened with Eevee's tackle. "What!" said Chloe shocked that their attacks didn't even phase it.
"is it an illusion?" asked Ash.
"Loard!" howled the Cyan Wolf as the mist got thicker and Ash quickly brought himself to shield Chloe. Pikachu shielded Grookey and Eevee from the strong mist.

Goh and hop avoid the magenta wolf as it stood in front of them. "Alright i gotta catch it...go Pokeball!" said Goh tossing a pokeball at the wolf only for it to go though it. "no way! it went though it."
"could it be an Illusion?" asked Leon. The magenta wolf eyed them waiting for them to attack. "Sobble use Water Gun" said Hop. Sobble let loose a water gun attack but like the pokeball. it went though the wolf. "not even attacks faze it" said Lillie.
"Rieeed" howled the Magenta Wolf. like with the cyan wolf. the mist began to get thicker and the group gathered up to not get lost in the mist. when the mist cleared up. everyone was close together and the two mysterious pokemon were gone.
"What were those pokemon?" asked Goh.
"No clue but at least we now know what they look like," Leon said before he leads them out of the forest. Ash however knew better. /They have to be Legendary Pokemon, i can feel just how powerful even though those are illusions. He thought before following behind the others. Watching them go was the two wolves from behind the mist.
"So that is the Chosen One Zacian?" asked the Magenta Wolf with a male's voice.
"Indeed it is Zamazenta, now come dear brother, let us return to sleep" said the blue wolf with a female voice. The two wolves were surrounded by mist before they were gone in an instant.
Outside the Slumbering Weald, the worried parents were relieved their children were okay and taken home after thanking the gang.
'Professor Cerise would definitely want to see those images of the two pokemon we saw. Perhaps we can solve the mystery of their connection to the Slumbering Weald." said Goh.
"If anyone can solve the mystery. It's you five" said Leon gesturing to the five of them. They nodded before too long, they made their way over to the pokemon center to get their pokemon looked after. While they waited for their pokemon to heal up. Leon sat in front of Ash before he said. "By the way Ash, I was told by Charles Goodshow to give you this" said Leon handing him a small envelope.
Taking the envelope he opened it to reveal a postcard and he opened it.
'Dear Ash Ketchum, it is my Distinct honor to say congratulations on becoming Alola's first champion, it is my honor to invite you to participate in next season's Pokemon World Championship tournament. To register for next season, please do so online.
"Sincerely, Charles Goodshow"
"Pokemon World Championship?" asked Ash.
."Trainers wishing to enter the competition must do so online,they must then participate in battles to ascend in its ranking system. Those ranked in 1,000th place or lower compete in the Normal Class, the ones from 999th place to the 100th place are in the Super Rank class, the ones in 99th to 9th places are in the Hyper Class, and the Top 8 is in the Master Class. At the end of each season, the competitors in the Top 8 face off in a final tournament, with the ultimate winner being crowned World Champion. I'm currently in a tournament in the Master Class along with seven other trainers" said Leon.
"Wow sounds like fun:" said Ash eager to tell his other pokemon about the World Championship.
"Yes but unfortunately you will have to wait to register until the current season is over with, which won't be until the final match." said Leon.
"Thanks for telling me about it Leon," said Ash.
"In fact Ash, I was actually wanting to challenge you to a battle, a one on one battle at Wyndon Stadium. Let's give the people a very exciting match" said Leon.
Ash grinned before he said. 'I accept your offer"
"Great, be in Wyndon by the end of tomorrow and we'll give everyone a battle between two champions." said Leon.
"I'm looking forward to it" Ash said. Their pokemon were all healed up and returned to them before Leon took off to head home. . Hop, Sobble and Wooloo we're preparing to head out on their journey. 'Best of luck to you Hop" said Ash.
'Thanks Ash, you too and i'm sure everyone is going to look forward between the match between you and my brother" said Hop before he, Sobble and Wooloo left Postwick to begin their journey. After saying goodbye to Hop, The four reseachers want to call Professor Cerise about their encounter in the Slumbering Weald. Professor Cerise was impressed his daughter got a Blipbug.
"A mystery indeed, i wonder what the connection those two pokemon have with the Slumbering Weald," he said.
"We'll be sure to solve it." said Goh.
"Ah yes, in fact, why don't you all make a stop at my colleague, Professor Magnolia. She lives in Wedgehurst which is actually on your way to Wyndon. She has been studying the Dynamax phenomenon for a long time." said Professor Cerise
"We'll do sir" said the four before the call ended. Ash then let out a yawn. "I don't know about your three but i'm tired, we got a lot of ground to cover tomorrow" said Ash.
The three nodded before they rented out a room in the pokemon center. In their sleep ware the four of them were each in their own beds,Chloe, Eevee and Blimbug on the lower bunk. Goh and Scorbunny were on the bunk above her, Ash and Pikachu on the bottom bunk with his pokemon out were spread all over the floor and Lillie was on the top bunk although she would rather be cuddled up next to Ash.
"Good night" they bid each other good night before sleep took them.
