Season 0; Ep 1

Recap: Harry and Peter were on a tower within Gotham's Commercial district and saw the Bat Signal so they decided to go towards the signal.

Peter and Harry were jumping from rooftop to rooftop trying to see where the source of the Bat Signal was. The masked duo were on another rooftop that was close enough to see what the source of the Bat Signal was. From the bird's eye view of the rooftop Harry and Peter were, the source of the Bat Signal was on top of the Gotham City Police Department roof. Peter and Harry were watching as Peter's best friend's Dad, Commissioner James Gordon was talking to Batman and his two sidekicks, Batgirl and Robin.

They were kinda far so they couldn't hear what they were talking about but as soon as Batman shifted his attention towards Harry and Peter, Harry started to flinch in fear and fell forward and almost fell. Peter, out of Pure instinct, jumped off the roof and took out his web shooters and attached them to both wrists. It didn't take long for him to attach the devices and continued to free-fall for a quick half-second and caught Harry. He then shot a webline which caught the two.

Peter swung on the web and stopped at a wall that Peter stuck on with his powers.

"You okay?" Peter asked.

Harry took a moment to recollect himself. He soon saw the situation they were in and saw that Peter was sticking to a wall.

"You have powers?!" Harry asked.

"I'll explain later as we have other pressing matters," Peter said as he was making eye-contact with Batman, Robin, and Batgirl who were starting to walk towards them. Harry saw who Peter was looking at and nodded. It was a question to be answered later, he took out his grapple gun.

"Throw me up," Harry said. Peter did what Harry said and shot his grapple gun to get up on the ledge. Peter didn't take long to follow by web-zipping onto the ledge to meet Harry. They heard two grapple guns fire off and saw that Batgirl and Robin were going to chase them.

The two were now at a standoff against Robin and Batgirl.

"We're taking you in." Batgirl said.

"Fat chance," Peter said.

"Not a great choice of words," Robin said with a smirk.

He looked at Harry and nodded as if they were planning to split up and meet up later. Harry started to run off and Robin went to chase him which left Peter and Batgirl alone.

"Why do you want to take us in?" Peter asked, "we're helping you guys out."

"You're in the way," Batgirl said.

"Look who's talking," Peter said. He soon ran off and looked off to see Batgirl following him. He started to smirk as he was starting to enjoy this chase. He soon started to look forward and keep running. But it didn't take long for him as he felt his head buzz which made him instinctively pull off a raiz flip. As he did the flip, he had the split moment to see what he dodged; he managed to dodge two batarangs. He finished the trick by landing, facing towards Batgirl.

"You missed," Peter said.

"I wasn't trying to hit you," Batgirl said with a smirk.

Peter's Spider-Sense kicked in again which made him do a flip called, "kick the moon", dodging the two batarangs that he dodged initially. Batgirl was pretty shocked as he managed to dodge them without looking, but she covered it up with a smirk.

"Impressive," Batgirl said.

Peter smirked and shot something that made Barbara flinch and saw a small pellet which was on the floor in front of her.

"You missed," Batgirl said.

Peter smirked under his mask, "I wasn't trying to hit you."

Just then the pellet exploded webs that trapped Batgirl. She tried to struggle, but to no avail.

"What is this stuff?" she asked.

"Webbing I made myself," Peter said, "Well, gots to go. Catcha later, Batbabe."

Batgirl started to blush lightly as Peter winked; he shot a webline and did a short squat that led to him launching off the building and swinging as he jumped from the squat.

Barbara who was currently dressed as Batgirl was still encased in the webbing that the dark figure entrapped her with. She looked around to see who was walking towards her as she heard footsteps and saw that it was Dick Grayson, AKA Robin who stood over her with a smirk.

"Ha ha," Barbara said annoyed, "help me get out of this."

…

Harry and Peter were in his apartment as Peter was explaining how he got his powers.

Harry was amazed as most spider bites cause rashes and deaths. But Peter ended up with power which made Harry ecstatic that he knows someone with superpowers.

"That's really awesome!" Harry said.

"But it came with a cost," Peter said, Harry was able to tell that Peter has been alone for quite some time.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Harry said.

"Not your fault," Peter said. Harry looked around the apartment as he saw that Peter had a somewhat outdated computer.

"You know I can hook you up with a better computer," Harry said, "I'll just have Dad give you the parts and you can assemble and boot up the Operating System."

Peter was amazed at Harry's generosity, "Thanks."

"No problem," Harry said, he looked at his phone and saw what time it was, "Well I gotta go, I'll see you around."

Peter and Harry walked out of the apartment door as Peter opened it for Harry to leave. After Harry left, Peter jumped onto his bed and laid back, closing his eyes as he went to sleep.

…

Barbara and Dick were in the Batcave as they were giving the assessment of the two dark figures to Batman.

"The one I had to face was nothing I've encountered," Barbara said, "he was able to dodge my batarangs as they were coming at him and then back at me without looking. He also shot a pellet that led to it exploding a massive volume of some sticky substance."

"He has shown the abilities of a spider," Bruce said, showing a photo of one dark figure sticking to a wall while holding onto another man. He continued to observe the two and noticed that despite them wearing the masks, he was able to tell the two were teenagers when he was able to hear them.

Bruce sighed as he turned towards Barbara.

"Thank you for your help," Bruce said, "you can go home. Alfred, drive Barbara home please."

Alfred, the Wayne Manor butler nodded as he and Barbara started to walk out of the batcave. As the two were now gone, Bruce turned to Dick.

"Time to turn in for the night," Bruce said, "I'll see you in the morning."

"Aren't you coming along?" Dick asked.

Bruce shook his head, "I have something to do."

Dick shrugged as he listened to his mentor and turned in for the night.

Bruce was now by himself as he started to go into his secret files of potential members of the Justice League and pulled off a file that said, "Spider-Man."

Bruce was inspecting a file that he has been gathering, one this individual that he named Spider-Man:

School: Gotham Academy

Bruce soon scrolled down to show a video that dated back 6 months ago. The video showed a live surveillance of LexCorp in Gotham as it showed Peter and the Gotham Academy class taking a tour of their biology labs. The video also showed the iconic spider bite that we know gave Peter his powers. Another footage shows Peter's aunt and uncle getting gunned down in the midst of a turf war.

After he watched the footage, he then went to a later footage that dated yesterday, Friday night. It showed night vision footage of someone who was looking into a file that said, "Parker Richard." Bruce started to put the pieces together as he realized that Peter was trying to find out why LexCorp was using the spiders for weapons. But, it wasn't as sinister as what Richard Parker developed before the spiders. Bruce soon decided to move to a file that said, "Symbiosis."

The file contained something that Richard Parker has developed to help cure illnesses and diseases. But due to Luthor wanting to use it as a weapon, Richard Parker had to hide the symbiote before he was able to complete it and Luthor has still been searching for it for the past 12 years.

Bruce as the legend he was, managed to find that the symbiote was located in a hidden underground railway in Gotham. According to the schematics, the railway also had a car which contained an incubator that had the symbiote.

…

Batman was exploring the said underground railway and saw how ransacked it was. As he went into the said car it was a mess with drawers and doors opened incorrectly. He soon went into an incubator and saw that it was empty. He narrowed his eyes as he knows now that Luthor has probably taken the symbiote.

—Sunday—

Bruce Wayne was walking into the internship division of Oscorp and saw the amount of teenagers that were working on various projects. Norman permitted him to the lower grounds and started walking around the department where teenagers were shocked that Bruce Wayne was in here.

Though his intention was to see a certain individual who went by the name of Peter Parker. He started to walk towards the said teen who was wearing a green hoodie and black jeans.

…

Peter was working on improving a hardware part until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a man who was an inch taller than him. He wore a suit and had black hair with piercing blue eyes.

"Peter Parker," the man said, sticking his hand out, "I'm Bruce Wayne."

"How do you know me?" Peter asked.

"Mr. Osborn was talking about you," Bruce said, "says that you and Harry make quite the science duo, looking forward to your progress."

"Th-Thanks…" Peter said while rubbing the back of his head as he saw Bruce nod and walk away.

—Monday—

Peter was tired as he was doing a lot of patrolling and late night projects with Harry. He was now in the Gotham Academy afterschool and was informed through the PA system that the Homecoming Dance was going to take place as of Friday at 7. He was trying to do things to pass the time until a hand was put on his shoulder.

Peter looked at who was touching and was surprised to say the least.

Harry stood in front of Peter and was giving him a big smile.

"Look who's going to your school tomorrow~" Harry said.

Peter was surprised as he said, "No damn way."

"My Dad had me apply and I just got in," Harry said with a smirk, "Gives us more time to work on more of our personal projects."

Peter knew what Harry was talking about as Peter gave Harry a smirk, but he looked past Harry to see two teenagers whom he was familiar with.

Next to Barbara Gordon was a boy who had black slicked back hair and blue eyes. Dick Grayson was walking alongside Barbara Gordon.

"Barbara," Peter said, "and Dick?"

"Hey, Pete," Dick said with a smirk, "how are ya man?"

"Great."

As a moment of silence was about to cue, Harry tapped on Peter's shoulder.

"Oh right," Peter said, "Barb, Dick, this is Harry Osborn."

"Nice to meet you guys," Harry said with a wave.

Barbara and Dick waved back as she said, "Nice to meet you too, may I have a moment with Peter alone?"

Dick and Harry looked at each other and then kind of insinuated what was happening so they did a knowing nod and walked away to talk and get to know each other.

After Dick and Harry were away, Barbara looked up at Peter since he was a full head taller than her.

"I wanted to ask you something," Barbara asked.

"What's up?" Peter asked as he was putting his books in his locker.

Peter wasn't paying attention as Barbara started to look a bit flustered, color was rushing to her cheeks as she looked off to the side and bit the bottom of her lip. Peter soon shifted his attention towards Barbara and saw how flustered she was. Peter, based on what Harry had told Peter about women, figured out that Barbara wanted to ask him out to something which led to him having an idea. During this moment there was a slight stare and a moment of silence as Barbara was about to—

"Do you want to go to the Homecoming Dance with me?" Peter asked.

Barbara gasped in shock as Peter's sudden outburst surprised her. She didn't hide the giddy smile on her face as she started to nodded uncontrollably.

"I would love to go to the dance with you," Barbara said.

"Awesome," Peter said, "I'll pick you up around 4:30?"

Barbara smiled as she nodded as Peter sighed in relief. For some time now, Barbara has started to develop feelings for Peter and what's not to like about him. Despite the sudden body change, he is nice, smart, charming, and funny in a clumsy way.

Peter felt his phone ring and saw that it was Harry when he took it out.

"I have to go," Peter said, "I'll see you soon?"

"Yeah," Barbara said.

As Peter started to run off Barbara kept looking at Peter with a daze until Dick cleared his throat and gave her a knowing smirk. Barbara gave Dick an annoyed look and just humphed as she walked off.

"Don't you dare say a word, Grayson," Barbara said.

"You said it not me," Dick said as the two started walking.

…

As Peter and Harry were now in his apartment, Peter was wondering what Harry was texting him about. All he got was that Harry needed to talk to Peter about something in his apartment.

"What's up Harry," Peter asked.

Harry took out a journal from his backpack and opened it to show Peter a page which contained a suit design. It showed a red and blue suit with some black accents and a white spider insignia on the front and a red one on the back. Peter was confused about what this was.

"What is this?"

Harry said nothing as he flipped a page and showed Peter what seems like schematics to make the said red and blue suit.

"Wait, this is for me?" Peter asked.

"Yeah," Harry said, "I also have another suit idea for myself."

He soon showed another journal and showed Peter an orange and silver colored armor suit that contained a metallic mask and a glider on the next page with a glider.

"May I?" Peter asked, he wanted to see more of what Harry had in mind for Peter's suit. Harry nodded as Peter took the journal and continued to read the schematics of his suit.

"This can work if we have the right things," Peter said, "does your Dad have the supplies we need?"

Harry nodded, "It should take us a few days to finish these suits if we went to Dad's place right after school."

"Let's just hope that we can be done before the homecoming dance," Peter said.

"Same here," Harry said, "I got an invite from this girl from your school named Bette Kane."

"Oh her," Peter said with a smirk, "she's one looker."

"Oh I know," he said, "she invited me after she gave me a tour of the school."

"Well you sly dog," Peter said.,

"That I am," Harry said.

—Friday—

Things were quiet in Gotham and it can either mean two things: one, there is nothing for the criminals to do or two, they are together to plan something more sinister.

Either way, tonight was the Homecoming Dance at the Gotham Academy and Peter and Harry were in their tuxedos, getting ready for the dance. Peter was at Harry's house so the two could get ready for their dates.

Peter's and Harry's superhero suits were done. Harry couldn't really wear his suit under his tuxedo, but Peter could and did just in case anything happened.

"Can you help me tie this necktie?" Harry asked.

"Sure, give me a minute," Peter said.

After Peter did his necktie, he helped Harry's and after that, Norman went into Harry's bedroom.

"Are you boys ready?" Norman asked.

"Yeah," Harry said, "we are."

"Awesome, your limo is here," Norman said, "have fun you two and make sure you boys get your corsages for the girls."

"We will. Thanks Dad," Harry said.

"Thanks for having me, Mr. Osborn," Peter said.

"Of course, Peter," Norman said.

As the two got in the limousine, Harry and Peter had a corsage for their dates and were nervous to say the least as they went to get Barbara first.

Peter got out of the car and went up to the door and knocked on it. It didn't take long for the person to open the door and it was a man who had brown hair that was greying on the sideburns and the back. He wore glasses and had a full beard, Commissioner Jim Gordon was stunned to see the taller man in front of him.

"Peter?!" Jim said in shock.

"Hey, Mr. Gordon," Peter said, "It's been a while."

"Peter, it's just Jim," he said. He took a second to see how much Peter has grown within a short amount of time. From Jim's perspective, Peter had not only a growth spurt, but had put on a significant amount of pounds. He was built.

"Peter, my god you've gotten big," Jim said, "not only did you get more height, you put on a huge amount of pounds."

"Thanks," Peter said while rubbing the back of his head, "I finally got around to start working out."

"That's good," Jim said. He knew that Peter had been through a lot, he knew of the situation of his aunt and uncle getting shot in a shootout and couldn't really talk to Peter, guess this was the best time to tell him.

"Listen Peter," Jim started to say, "I know I haven't been checking in on you but from now on, if you need anything, just give me a call."

"Thanks," Peter gave Jim a genuine smile as he saw Barbara coming towards the door. Jim decided to look and saw Barbara coming towards them.

"Barbara," Jim said.

Barbara was wearing a black dress that was backless. She wore her hair in a braided ponytail and Peter was in awe at how beautiful she looked.

"Wow…" Peter said, "y-you look great."

Barbara gave Peter a smirk, she liked seeing him flustered. She finds him cute when he is embarrassed.

"Face it tiger," Barbara said, "you just hit the jackpot."

She saw the corsage Peter had on his hand. Peter didn't hesitate to take it out and put it on her wrist as Barbara smiled.

"Thanks for the corsage," Barbara said, "it looks awesome."

"Alright, you two," Jim said, "let me get a photo of this."

Barbara stood by Peter as he put his arm around and held onto her side as she leaned towards him with a hand with the corsage on his chest. After Jim took the photo he nodded for Peter and Barbara to go into the limousine.

After Harry picked up Bette, Peter and Barbara were in a part of the limo where Barbara took selfies with her phone and Peter didn't hesitate to pose for the selfie. As the two couples got out of the car, they got into the school. Barbara gave Peter her phone to put in his pocket as the two started into the gym and heard some dancing.

As Peter and Barbara were dancing a group of jealous teens were watching them.

"How did Puny Parker land a girl like Gordon?" Flash asked.

"Grr, geeks like Parker do not get girls that look like Gordon—," said a blond. She soon stopped to correct herself as she insinuated that Barbara was better looking than her and her group of female friends, "I-I mean like us."

The others looked off as Peter and Barbara were enjoying each other's company. It didn't take long for the slow dance music to kick in and that's when Barbara wrapped her arms around Peter's neck while he settled his on her waist. The moment was very intimate as Peter noticed how close Barbara was, they were two inches away from a kiss and Peter was very tempted to do so.

"B-Barbara?"

She hummed as Peter started to take a deep breath.

"You've been there for me since I was little and I've been very appreciative of that," Peter said, "But I have been thinking… I know this a lot to take in, but I have been feeling this way and I just wanted to tell you that I—"

Peter stopped as he felt her finger on his lips to stop him from talking.

"I had to stop you before you rambled on for too long," Barbara said, "and yes I like you too."

She pulled Peter slowly in for what seemed like a—

'Spider-Sense!'

Peter looked to where the Spider-Sense was strongest and saw the wall of the gym break down. As the dust began to clear out three people came into the school. Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and the Penguin were walking into the school with their goons coming in to take over the school. Their men also came in from the south hallway and the north was open.

"Gotham Academy," Two-Face said, "stay down and no one will get hurt."

Peter and Barbara were low as he grabbed her hand and started towards the north hallway. As Peter and Barbara were running to an empty classroom but the door was locked. Peter later ran to another classroom, but a henchman was in front of them and they had an assault rifle which made Peter react by running towards him and punching him in the face, knocking him out. He took the rifle and broke it with his strength by bending the barrel.

Barbara soon realized that Peter was this Spider-Man that Batman was interested in. But she soon swayed all thought as Peter opened the women's bathroom door and had Barbara go in.

"Go in," Peter said, "stay here and stay safe."

"What about you?" Barbara said.

Peter looked out and saw that the coast was clear as he got in the bathroom.

"I'll explain everything later," Peter said as he started to take off his tuxedo. Barbara's suspicions were correct as she saw the white spider insignia on his chest and the red and blue suit.

"What are you wearing?" Barbara asked.

"Like I said," Peter said before putting on his mask, "I'll explain later."

Before Peter left the bathroom, Barbara grabbed his hand. Peter was in shock as she removed the mask enough to expose his lips and gave him a quick peck.

When the two separated, Barbara gave him a smirk, "Go get 'em tiger," she said.

Peter nodded as he put on his mask properly and went out of the door. From his perspective, inside the lenses, there was a HUD that showed his vitals, web combinations, building schematics, and a sonar and thermal vision combined.

"Let's see what this suit can do," Peter said as he took care of the goons.

A/N: Thanks for reading, Peter's Spider-Man suit is the cover picture and he will have this suit until season 4. This short introduction arc takes place during October of 2009 which is almost a year before the first season of Young Justice as it takes place during the 4th of July on 2010.
