Chapter 5
Tap tap tap tap tap tap, The sound of running and breathing filled the blood-stained room as the man's shiny black pointy shoes slammed off the blood covered the floor.
"Waaaaahhhh! Please, I'll give you anything you want, just let me live!" his running stopped as a figure appeared directly in front of him causing the man to fall over.
"Information. Who's at the top?" The hooded man with an almost robotic voice asked anger filling the room.
"Huh? At the top of what?" The man who was sitting in a pool of blood asked his aggressor.
The swish of a katana cutting through the air echoed through the room. "Don't play dumb! I can make this painful." He said as he dragged the blade down the man's leg cutting the pants fabric.
"Alright I'll tell you. Please don't hurt me." The man begged with the killer
"Well that depends on how good the info you give me is." The murderer said with pure hatred in his voice."
"Fuhai Shigoto. Shigoto is the one behind the corrupt shit. Please don't hurt me!" The man pleaded.
"Thank you. Now tell your friends hello in hell for me." The man said as he drew his blade up.
"Wait please stop-'' The sound of the blade falling cut him off, the blade passed through him like butter. As his blood poured out joining the others on the floor.
The man looked down at the bodies and blood on the room's floor. "I'm so close now. I swear I'll kill anyone involved in that project."
The heat of the soup filled Izuku's mouth as he drank it. "Thanks Toga."
"No problem. You just rest up for the day." Toga replied with a smile taking up most of her lower face.
As to how they got here it started this morning.
Toga and Izuku woke up and both got ready for their hard day of training. Just getting out of the shower, Toga called All Might to talk about what they are going to be doing today.
Only to be met by a coughing mess. All Might had gotten sick. So he couldn't train her today. And when she told Izuku he fainted, constantly muttering about how his idol can get common illnesses.
And then he himself fell sick and now Miruko was on her way over because Izuku hadn't turned up at her agency.
Toga had met Miruko a few times thanks to Izuku bringing her along to training sometimes.
It had been 3 months since Izuku had gained One for All and he was growing non stop so as sad as she was for her friend at the same time she was glad he could still get sick.
But now she had to deal with Miruko who was not likely to be in a good mood due to her student not appearing.
A ring from the door sent a shiver down Toga's back, the sound of footsteps inching closer to the door spurred Toga to move. "Wait, I'll get it." She yelled out toward Inko who was about to answer the door.
"Oh, okay thank you." Inko said walking away and toward Izuku's room.
Toga stepped toward the door fully expecting to be face to face with one of her favourite heroes.
As she opened it the first thing she saw was kind eyes and quickly realised it wasn't Miruko that was knocking.
"Hello Toga, is Midoriya in?" Yumi asked.
Toga had met Yumi a few times as well but wasn't expecting to see her right now.
"Yeah but he's sick at the moment."
Upon hearing that, the smile faded off Yumi's face. She then turned away.
"Well I said I'd bring the kid...That doesn't exactly mean Midoriya." Yumi muttered before turning back to Toga.
"Hey Toga, how would you feel about filling in for him today?"
"Yes, please!" Toga said her smile basically taking over her entire face.
"Well then, let's go!"
"Wait, right now?"
As they arrived at the Miruko agency, they were greeted by a loud Miruko yelling.
"What the hell, Yumi, I said bring the kid!"
"Well I brought A kid. But it's not the one you were hoping for." Yumi said while avoiding eye contact with a small laugh at the end.
Miruko groaned before turning to Toga.
"Sorry but you can head home." Toga was dejected but turned to face the exit.
"Wait, hold on." Yumi said grabbing ahold of Toga's wrist
"Since she's here we might as well help her."
Miruko groaned again, she knew her friend was right but still, It was a pain being a top 10 hero.
"Fine then, hey other kid what type of hero do you want to be?"
The light returned to Toga's face "I want to be a hero that can save anyone, like Izuku." Joy filled her voice while she spoke.
Miruko groaned for the third time, "Okay, what's your quirk?"
"Transform, my quirk allows me to take on the appearance of someone else but only after I drink the person's blood, the amount of blood plays a factor, the less blood the less I hold the transformation, one cup is about one day's worth, as soon as the blood is consumed the timer starts."
Yet another groan escaped the pro hero "Sounds like you'd be better at information gathering, and I know just the person to help you out with this." Miruko said before pulling out a flip phone and dialing a number that's seemingly in the phone.
"Hey, I need some help, got someone here that needs help with learning how to gather info, andddd I was thinking you could help her out, yeah I'm asking for help." Miruko said that last bit with a slight blush coming over her face.
As soon as the phone flipped closed a ring came from the intercom of the agency.
After a few seconds a woman with bright pink hair walked in.
"Helooooo Rumi. It's been too long." the woman said happiness leaking out through her words.
"It's about a month, anyway see blondie over there, yeah she needs help learning how to gather information more effectively and I was hoping you could help out."
The woman looked over to Toga. "Yeah I could do something with this, I'm Aphrodite, nice to meet you."
"Alright, good, leave now." Miruko said trying to get Aphrodite out as fast as possible.
"Tutut I don't think so, you two will be helping as well."
"Fuck off!" Miruko yelled at the laughing woman.
As Toga looked up and stared at the building in front of her.
"Anyway this is the place." Aphrodite said to Toga while parking the car around the corner in an alleyway.
"Well let's go over the plan once more. This is a big party that has a bunch of different companies CEOs attending. The Order have been hired to get some info on a few of the companies due to allegations, and a woman's husband being kidnapped by one of them. You and me are here to get to the bottom of this. Rumi and Yumi are already inside. And the way that you can get in is right here." Aphrodite said as he punched the trunk opening it and revealing a man tied up in the back.
"Fuhai Shigoto. One of the big wigs at a company in attendance, you'll be going in as him."
She handed Toga a syringe.
"This should be enough to last the whole night."
She stuck the man with the needle and began extracting what she needed, she downed it not giving herself the pleasure of tasting it, then sludge began appearing around her as she became the man known as Fuhai Shigoto. She had a suit on but had her knife (Quick note I changed it from a staff to a knife as I feel like that would be a better fit for her) onto a sheath on her hips.
"All right Fuhai. Let's go." Aphrodite said walking into the party Toga right behind her.
"Okay we'll split up, I'll try to get as much info out of the guys, I'll leave the girls to you." Toga nodded.
And off they go, the two breaking apart. Quickly Toga spotted Rumi and Yumi, a lot of the guys trying to shoot their shot with the two. Rumi looked disgusted while Yumi looked somewhat happy but anyone that knew her, knew she was pissed off at this.
Walking over to the bar Toga saw a girl sitting by herself, but before she could talk with the lady a voice came over the mic.
"Not her, she's by herself at a company party meaning she doesn't know anyone so she won't be involved." Rumi said over the comns.
Toga quickly turned away from the woman and began walking toward the centre of the room where there was a crowd gathering, two women were sitting having a drink. Toga took a step toward them only to be cut off by the mic again.
"Not them either, too much attention on them." Yumi said this time.
Walking away again only to be stopped by a bell ringing. "Hello everyone, I would like to thank you all for coming." A beautiful woman stood at the top of some stairs "And while I have your attention I would like to ask a special guest up here."
"Could Fuhai Shigoto come up here please?" Toga felt her heart drop. All eyes were on her now.
She was frozen until the mic cut in again. "Head on up, this might be a chance to get some info." She took a step forward and walked up the stairs. Clapping coming from behind her as she went.
"Now I would like to announce something." The woman kept talking. "Me and Fuhai are going to get married." Her heart stopped.
'Holy shit what do I do? No, I have to keep going. Become Fuhai Shigoto.'
She smiled and it didn't look forced at all. She was acting her part to the best of her ability.
"Now I hope you all have a good rest of the party, me and Fuhai are going to be on the 60th floor." The woman said walking away Toga following in tow.
"Unfortunately the earpiece won't reach that far. You're on your own kid. Good luck." All three women said.
Upon getting into the elevator the woman lost her smile. "God why did we have to hold such a big thing to announce our marriage. Yeah yeah I know it's because it's necessary but still."
They arrived on the 60th floor and instantly noticed something was off. "Where are the guards?" The woman said.
Toga had a bad feeling about this.
They walked out of the elevator and the doors closed behind them.
Toga shot to the right and pushed the woman to the left. "What the hell Fuhai. What're you doing?"
The doors to the elevator were sliced open. The woman began screaming and running for the door to the stairs.
"Oh well she's not the target." A robotic voice rang out from behind Toga.
Quickly she shot up and looked at her attacker. The man had his hood up but the rest of his body was black with red rings in certain spots.
"Hello Fuhai. Remember me?" The man was somewhat calm about this situation.
The man removed the hood only for Toga to see a half carbon fiber half human face. He was a cyborg.
"You don't remember me, do you? Oh well I'll kill you anyway but since we're here let's talk. Shall we? You made a project a few years back about creating the perfect bodyguard. I was a test subject in this project. You were offering a lot of money for people to test it for you. And I had a daughter to feed so I joined on. After the test was over it was a success but for some reason you're men thought I was too dangerous so they locked me up. And to get rid of any problems you had, you murdered my family you bastard. My daughter. My wife. You had no right taking them from me. So for that I'll be taking you from anyone you care about." The man explained.
Toga got to her feet and pulled out her knife, the sludge falling from her face.
"Sorry I'm not Fuhai Shigoto. I'm a hero. And as a hero I can't let you kill anyone."
"What the hell! After all this time I thought I fucking had him but it's just some fucking teenager!" The man was pissed off by this. He pointed his blade at Toga "Die, you bitch."
He began rushing her.
Quickly she pulled her knife out of its sheath, holding it in her right hand, the blade side pointing out of her pinky side of her hand.
She began pushing it toward her attacker, clashing the blades.
Toga took a step back to prepare for any more attacks that may come her way.
However no attacks came, the man simply stood there looking at her.
Then his eyes seemed to glow a bright red as he ran at her, once he had cut the distance he began swinging his blade toward her. Cutting downward in an attempt to cut into her head.
She saw this coming and met the side of his katana with the tip of her knife redirecting to her right making it miss her entirely. Taking a step toward the attacker while he was off balance.
She pushed her knife toward the chest of the man dragging the blade off his breastplate leaving it cut slightly open.
He jumped away pointing the sword at her again.
"Heh all that for a small cut. You can't beat me. Child."
He rushed her again this time much faster than before, her body moved almost on its own dodging the sword aiming for her neck.
She ducked her head to avoid it but he saw this coming and kicked her in the stomach sending her a few feet away.
"It's not about beating you. It's about buying time." Toga coughed out as a loud bang echoed from the elevator.
"For her." As that breath left Toga's mouth the cut door blasted outward.
Both fighters looked over to the smoke and dust. "Sorry I took too long, kid." Miruko said standing over by the doors.
Quickly fixing her attention to the cyborg man. Her aura filled the room causing the man to back a step.
'This is for my revenge, I must beat this foe' The man steeled himself as he gripped his katana. He went to take a step forward.
As he did, a loud Bang rang out from where Miruko was standing, leaving nothing but a small crater in the ground.
She was suddenly above him swinging her foot down toward the man. He managed to dodge her attack but not the follow up. Quickly landing she spun around kicking him with her heel and sending him flying toward one of the many windows.
But before he could go through it he managed to stop himself by stabbing his sword into the floor.
"You okay, kid?" Miruko asked, having landed from her kick.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Toga said, holding back the cough.
"Good. You did good, now rest I'll handle this." Miruko said rather softly.
Meanwhile the cyborg was recovering from the kick he had received, rage filled him.
'This hero scum, I hate pieces of shit like you. Get out of my way, get out of my way' "Get the hell out of my way!"
He began running toward Miruko, she simply turned her head to look at him.
He swung at her from the right but she leaped upward and dodged and then brought her foot back down and slammed him on the top of the head, he fell down and unconscious.
"Can't you see I was talking? Wait your damn turn!"
'S-she took him down in one hit, guess that's the power of a pro.' Toga stood completely dumbfounded by the hero's speed and power.
Miruko crouched over the body of the cyborg and took the weapons off him.
"Now we need something to tie him up with." Miruko said as the door to the stairs swung open.
Aphrodite and Yumi walked in and looked around, Aphrodite ran over to Toga and began checking her to make sure she was okay.
Yumi on the other hand walked over to Miruko and they began discussing what they were going to do.
"Wow, so cool!" Izuku was amazed by what happened these past few days.
"But wait there's more. Apparently the entire first floor got put into lockdown and almost everyone was arrested. Miruko handed Fuhai Shigoto to the police. And the best part of it remember the woman who hired us, yeah that's the cyborg wife. His family was fine; they lied to him."
"WHAT!" Izuku was shocked, it was like his friend just lived through a drama.
"Izuku! Someone's here for you!" Inko's voice rang through the walls.
Izuku and Toga ran over to the door of Izuku's room, peaking their heads through the door and faced toward the front door and saw Miruko and Aphrodite.
The two teens quickly made their way to the door, Inko stepped out of the way to let them past.
"Hey kid, glad to see you're feeling better." Miruko said while ruffling Izuku's hair.
"Aphrodite! What are you doing here?" Izuku questioned.
"Ah, I'm here to see you." She said while she began pointing at Toga.
"Me?" Toga pointed at herself in confusion.
"Yep." Aphrodite said while smiling. "I would like to ask if you would want to work with The Order as training?"
Toga was taken aback, was this real. Before she could answer she saw how happy Izuku looked as he looked at her.
This was it, her chance to grow. To not be left behind by him anymore.
"I'll take you up on that offer!" Toga said as tears began building in her eyes, but despite that she was smiling.
Some undisclosed location.
"Hey hey I wanna play already." A girl whined.
"Calm it, bitch. Don't forget you're only here because the Master thinks you're useful. If we had things my way you would be dead already." A raspy voice said.
"Yeah yeah we all know Tomura. Anyway, hey Giri, when can I have fun." The girl continued whining.
"Now Yahan calm down, How about we test your favourite toy?" A voice over the tv said.
"Wait, do you think he's ready now?" The girl now named Yahan seemingly got happier at hearing this.
"Yes, I believe he is ready now." The voice said.
"YEAH! Oh my god I can't wait, how can I do it, when can I do it. Please tell me." Yahan began bouncing up and down with joy written all over her face.
"I have a team ready. We will send them."
"I can't wait!" Yahan smiled.
