AN: Hey everyone, I have the next chapter here. Thank you for the overwhelming support of the latest chapter of Re: Mnant. With that, I decided to do one more chapter here a bit sooner than expected. This one is a few days later as the girls' approach were they believe they can cross over to the new world. However, who they find might be a little more than they can handle now. Hope you enjoy this chapter, leave a review with your comments and questions, and have a nice day.

A few days later.

It was nightfall over Remnant, but there was no noise for miles. At the bottom of a mountain near a bonfire were Ruby, Blake, and Yang. However, the red hooded girl was looking back at the parked airship. Inside, the sleeping white-haired girl was seen, "She still hasn't woken up yet?" Yang commented.

"No," Ruby commented, "But she's still alive, I know it." She said before looking to Blake, who broke eye contact. "You don't believe me?"

"I want to believe you," Blake said, "Just, how are we supposed to fix her?"

"W-we'll figure it out when passing this mountain range and make it to Sanctuary." Ruby responded, "Then you two will remember Weiss. I mean, she was the one who figured out this mountain range trick." She said before looking to her sister, "And Yang, she was your partner for the tag team battle in the tournament. How else do you think that went?"

"I mean, I remember beating the two opponents, but don't remember having any help in the fight." Yang responded, "As for the mountain thing, I thought it was you that figured it out."

"No, that's…no." Ruby said before looking down, "Why won't you two remember her?"

"I'm sorry, Ruby. We don't remember her." Blake responded, then saw a tear run down. The black cat faunus and blond brawler then looked at each other in sorrow before turning to the red hooded girl, "But, why don't you tell us how we all met." She said with a sincere smile.

"Yeah, I'm curious too if she was who I had as a partner in the Vytal Festival," Yang added on with a smile as well.

"Really?" Ruby said as she looked up, a smile on her face as her teammates nodded, "Okay, it all started when I ran into her in front of Beacon, then I exploded after a sneeze."

"What?" Yang responded.

"Uh, maybe slow down a bit," Blake added.

"Sorry," Ruby said with a giggle as she scratched the back of her head, then began to tell her tale.

The next morning.

The airship ascended with Yang in the pilot seat. Blake stood behind her with the map in hand, pointing forward once they reached above the mountain range. As they flew over, the black cat faunus looked down at the map, but slightly gritted her teeth, "Damnit, this doesn't line up at all." She said before looking back to Ruby, who was making sure the sleeping white-haired girl was safely bucked in, "We're just flying over ruins, not a forest in another world."

"Maybe there's something we need to have to pass over." Ruby offered.

"Like a relic or a secret password?" Yang added, "I bet one is going to a lot easier to find than the other."

"We don't have time for that," Blake said before tossing the map aside, then sitting on one of the benches.

"Blake…" Ruby said in worry, but the black cat faunus did not respond. Suddenly, an idea came to the red hooded girl's mind, "Let me try something." Ruby said before getting up walking to the front where her sister was. Blake had a look of confusion, then gasped as the eyes started to glow silver. Suddenly, the silver light expanded over the area, forcing the others to close their eyes.

"Ruby, you can't do that when I'm-" Yang responded as tried to regain control. However, after reopening her eyes, she gasped at what she saw.

Blake opened her eye and looked out as well. The old and destroyed ruins of Remnant were replaced with a lush green forest. She then picked up the map, comparing what she saw, and had a smile form on her face, "Ruby, you did it!" the back cat faunus said before turning back to her leader who was wobbling.

"Uh, yeah." Ruby responded as she held her head with her left hand, "I didn't know if that would work again."

"Hey, when in doubt, bust out the mystic eye powers." Yang said before reaching into her pocket, "Just let me put these on before you use them next time." She said before putting on her aviator glasses, a confident smile on her face while Ruby giggled, "So, where are we now?"

"We should be over Sanctuary right now," Blake said as she looked at the map of the forest, "We just need to keep an eye out for a village."

"Okay," Ruby said as she refocused, then began to search the forest. However, she noticed something else past the forest, "Wait, that white building over there. Is that a mansion?"

"Looks like one," Yang said as she squinted, then gasped, "Wait, I see a village nearby! That must be it." She said before changing acceleration and heading in that direction, "At this rate, we can land in no time, and you see your parents again. Right Blake…Blake?" Yang said before looking back to see the black cat faunus falling backward.

"Blake!" Ruby said as she barely caught the black cat faunus before she fell over, "What happened to you?" she said while her teammate was unresponsive, "I think she's unconscious."

"How? What happened to her?" Yang said as she looked back to Ruby, "I know she didn't stay up all night, she took the first rest shift."

"Maybe she's not used to the altitude?" Ruby commented, turning back to her sister, "We should land and-" she was saying until gasping.

"What?" Yang said before looking back out the piolet window, discovering a midair tree heading for them, "Crap!" the blond brawler said before trying to evade, but the tree already slammed into the airship. Sirens began to ring as the airship started to spiral, "Oh no, we're going down!"

"Yang!" Ruby panicked as she held Blake, "We can't jump out with these two in our hands."

"Damnit, I know!" Yang said as she tried to regain control, but felt the airship shake again as another tree hit them. "Just make sure you got them strapped in!" she said while the airship continued to descend, "And hold on!" the blond brawler said before Ruby nodded, then ran back to buckle in Blake's unconscious body. She then fastened herself in just before the airship crashed through the forest, bashing through multiple trees before coming to a sudden stop against a large rock.

Re: Mnant

"…. Uh," Blake said she started to regain consciousness, "What happened?" she said as her vision cleared, causing her to see the wreckage that was the airship, "What!?" the black cat faunus said before discovering she was buckled down in one the benches. After releasing herself, she looked over to see the sleeping white-haired girl was still here, but the rest of her team was not. "Where's Yang and Ruby?" she thought before her faunus ears flickered at the sound of gunfire, "There." She said before arming herself with her weapon. As she was about to rush off, she looked back to the sleeping white-haired girl, "We'll be right back." Blake spoke before dashing out the airship and towards the noise.

As she approached a clearing, she found her two teammates in a battle with a third individual. He was a blond boy of a couple of years younger than Ruby, wearing a black and red vest and pants. He had on a purple cape around his waist, as well as blue crystal on a neckless over his chest. As he dodged the sniper and shotgun blasts, a razor tooth smile was seen.

"Damnit, hold still!" Yang said before firing a barrage from her Ember Celica. However, the sharpened tooth boy dodged each shot as he moved closer. The blond brawler then gasped before she was punched in the face by her opponent, her body launched back and through a nearby tree,

"Yang!" Ruby screamed before refocusing on her opponent. She changed her Crescent Rose into its scythe form before rushing their opponent. She attempted a slash, but the blade was stopped by a bite. Ruby gasped as the sharped tooth boy flailed her off the weapon, then spat the scythe away. As Ruby full on her back, she looked up in a panic as her opponent reeled his right fist back for a knockout punch.

However, his wrist was soon bound by a black ribbon, "Huh?" he said before turning to the end of the ribbon, seeing it was Blake, "Oh, another one?" he said before grinning, then grabbing the ribbon, "Well, join the party!" with one pulled, Blake was rocketed towards him at high speed. Before she could dodge or activate her semblance, she was close-lined by the right arm of the sharped tooth boy.

Blake's body landed near Ruby with a loud thud, "Hey," the red hooded girl said in an uneased voice.

"Ruby, what happened?" Blake said with a groan.

"After you passed out, we crashed and were attacked by this guy." Ruby said as the sharped tooth boy finished pulled off the ribbon, "Now I think we're both about to be unconscious."

"Good guess." The sharped tooth boy said as he raised both his arms, causing Blake and Ruby to grit their teeth in panic. However, he felt a sudden heat approaching, "Huh-" Suddenly, he was punched in the face by the fiery fist of Yang.

Yang landed a couple of feet past Blake and Ruby, while the sharp tooth body skidded on his back for a few meters, "Those are my teammates," Yang said as her aviator's cracked, revealing her red eyes behind then, "And these were five-hundred lien sunglasses, asswipe."

"Tsk," the sharped tooth boy said as he stood up, a bit of blood dripping from his nose. He then looked over to see Ruby and Blake now standing, each with a weapon in hand. Yang's hair started to glow as she hit her fist together, "Oh, interesting." He said with a toothy grin, then wiped the blood off his nose, "Guess I don't need to hold back now." Suddenly, he started to glow with a red aura, his body starting to expand.

Suddenly, a new voice called out, "Garfiel, stand down!" with those words, all four looked over to see someone else approaching from the woods. She was a dark-skinned woman with black and white combat attire. She had short black disheveled hair and tiger faunus ears on her head. At her side was a rolled-up chain whip, while the other was a small ammo case, "I don't know who those two humans are," she spoke before crossing her arms, "But I know that one that hiding her cat ears." She said before looking towards the black cat faunus, "It's been a while, Blake Belladonna."

"You," Blake said in shock, "You're the leader of the White Fang, Sienna Khan."

"Eh, you two know each other?" Garfiel spoke towards Sienna.

"… I knew her parents." Sienna said her eyes closed, then opened them towards Blake, "We have a lot to talk about." She said before walking away, prompting Garfiel to follow with his body back to normal.

"Did she say, 'knew' her parents?" Ruby commented, then looked to Blake, "Does that mean-" she said, but the black cat faunus was already walking.

"Ruby, let's just follow them," Yang responded.

"Okay, but I need to get Weiss." Ruby said before holstering her weapon, "I'll catch up." She said with Yang nodded, causing the red hooded girl to rush off at high speed. However, she stopped upon seeing someone else carrying the sleeping white-haired girl. She was a younger girl with long pink hair, wearing a robe that also hid her mouth, "Hey!" Ruby said in slight rage, but then saw the little girl genteelly place the sleeping white-haired girl on the ground, "Oh, uh, thank you." Ruby said before the small girl nodded, then ran off into the forest. The red hooded girl waved goodbye before picking up the sleeping white-haired girl.

They then followed Sienna, leading them into a small village. Ruby, Blake, Yang all looked around seeing multiple faunus in the village. However, some looked back with slight indignation at the newcomers. They then made it to a small house, with the Leader of the White Fang looking to Garfiel, "But let Ryuzu know of these new visitors. Then meet me back here in a few minutes."

"Got it, Boss," Garfiel responded before walking away, causing Sienna to open the door.

Sienna then looked over to the four girls, "We'll talk in here." She said before entering, causing the girls to follow with Yang closing the door behind them. Ruby laid the sleeping white-haired girl on a nearby couch then made her way to a table. She, Yang, and Blake all sat on one end while Sienna sat on the other end, "So, this is your new team after leaving the White Fang?" Sienna said with the black cat faunus, but glanced over to the sleeping white-haired girl, "But your fourth member seems to be out of commission."

"You don't…know what family she's in?" Ruby asked.

"Why would I?" Sienna responded.

"N-no reason," Ruby said while looking away.

"Sienna, what happened to Menagerie?" Blake asked, regaining the Leader of the White Fang's attention, "What happened to my parents?"

"…Blake, I'm so sorry," Sienna responded, causing the black cat Faunus's eyes to fill with tears.

As Blake started to cry, Yang and Ruby tried to hug their friend. "Who?" Blake said as she looked back to Sienna, "Who did this!?"

"We talked with Adam," Ruby added, "He told us about the cult."

"So, that bastard is still alive." Sienna responded, then sighed, "They call themselves the Witch's Cult. A murderous organization bent on the destruction of the world." She said before crossing her arms, "Except, they are not from our world." She said before looking back at the three, "I'm sure you realized by now, but you're not Remnant in anymore."

"We got that, but how is this possible?" Yang asked.

"Magic gateways, rips in the time-space continuum, or some other mystic bullshit that I don't know." Sienna responded, "Either way, this Cult found a way into Remnant and planned a coordinated attack to take down the kingdoms there."

"Why would they do this!?" Blake asked again.

Suddenly, Ruby had a grim realization, "Practice." She said with Blake and Yang turning to their team leader, "This world has four Kingdoms too, right?" The red hooded girl said with a look of dread on her face, "They used Remnant to prepare for their attack here." She said with both gasping in horror.

"From the way you're talking, it looks like their test run worked." Sienna commented, "Remnant is no more."

"You knew this would happen?" Blake asked with rage filling in her eyes, "Why didn't you try to stop it!"

"By the time my informants had confirmed all the information, it was too late." Sienna responded, "I tried to warn Ghira, to help lead our people to Sanctuary for their safety." She said before looking down while clenching her right first, "But, on that same day."

"Menagerie was attacked." Blake finished, her hands trembling, "What happened to my dad?"

Sienna looked back to Blake, "When the fires started, your father and I rushed into battle against the enemy. They were cloaked in purple robes and hoods, armed with daggers. However, they shot balls of flames from their palms without the use of dust."

"That's a bit different than the one guy that fought Glynda." Yang said to Blake, "Maybe that guy was a higher up?"

"If he were, he would be called a Sin Archbishop of the Witch's Cult, representing a sin," Sienna responded, gaining the attention of all girls, "The one we fought, this one represented Sloth. His name, Betelgeuse Romanee-Conti. And to put it simply, he was insane."

"Is he the one?" Blake asked, causing Sienna to stop before continuing.

"When that man showed up, we attacked with everything we had." Sienna responded, "However, we were no match for what that man could do." She said before holding on to her ribs, slightly flinching in pain. "I was being tossed around like a ragdoll from something I could not see." She then looked back to Blake, "But, whatever it was, your father could see them."

"What?" Blake responded, "Then, what happened?"

"Your father knew he had to make sure this enemy could not hurt anyone else," Sienna responded, "Especially, you and your mother. So, he told me of a plan. Using himself as bait, while I landed the final blow." Sienna looked down in remorse, "It worked, but Ghira suffered a fatal wound." She spoke with her eyes flinching, "I had called him a coward for years, but was braver than I ever was as the Leader of the White Fang."

"I," Blake said before realizing something, "Wait, what about my mother? Did she make it out?"

"When the attack started, I ordered Ilia and a few more admins to protect Kali in the evacuation." Sienna responded, "But at the port, we were supposed to meet up at, all I found were mangled bodies." She said before putting her right hand on her forehead, tears forming in her eyes, "When I saw Ilia's face, the look of pain and agony she had endured before dying… I can never forget that."

"Ilia, not her too," Blake responded tears in her eyes as well. "And my mother was the same?"

"…We didn't find her body," Sienna responded.

"So, you're saying she-" Blake responded.

"Blake, don't." Sienna responded, "We did not have the time to search for her body before leaving. Even if she was captured, I doubt she would let herself befall that fate."

"But," Blake pleaded, "She could be alive!" the black cat faunus then stood up, running to the door, "I need to head back to Menagerie and look for clues. Then maybe-"

"You can't leave!" Sienna shouted, "None of us faunus can leave here."

"What do you mean?" Yang asked as Blake walked back over.

"This place, it's not a sanctuary." Sienna responded, "It's a prison. Any faunus, or demi-humans as they are called in this world, will have their soul bound this area. Getting outside of it would mean leaving your soul behind, which would make you a lifeless husk." She said before looking back to the sleeping white-haired girl, "Almost like that one over there."

Suddenly, Ruby remember what had happened in the airship, "Blake, when you passed out."

"Yeah, I know." Blake responded, then looked back to Sienna, "How do we break this curse."

"It's more of a barrier than a curse." Sienna responded, "I can tell you how, but I need a favor to from your friends." She said before looking over to Ruby and Yang, "Humans are not bound here like faunus are, you two can leave whenever you want." The leader of the White Fang said before focusing on them, "When arriving to this world, did you see a mansion nearby."

"Actually, yes," Ruby responded.

"Good, head there and find a woman named Frederica. She should be the head maid." Sienna asked, then sighed, "Tell her that I will join the faction as soon as the barrier is broken."

"Faction?" Yang asked, "What is this all about now?"

"She can explain more when you meet her." Sienna responded before standing up, "As she was the one who came to our world to warn us of the invasion." She then made her way to the door, "I'll give you some time to talk about it as a team. Do let me know of your answer soon." The Leader of the White Fang said before opening the door and exiting.

Yang, Blake, and Ruby sat in silence for a few seconds before the black cat faunus spoke up, "My mother is still alive." She said with the others looking to her in slight worry, "But, you don't believe me, do you?"

"Blake, you more than anyone would know if she's still alive," Ruby responded.

"Yeah, maybe she got away from the cult and is trying to find you right now." Yang added, "We just need to meet in middle to reunite you two."

"Right, that's it." Blake said with smiling forming, then had a look of focus, "But first, I need to break this barrier. Which means, I need two-"

"You don't even need to ask," Yang responded, "We'll deliver Sienna's message so she can spill the beans on how to break this barrier."

"Yeah, I can rush there and back in no time!" Ruby offered.

"I think the two of you should go together, just to be safe." Blake asked, "Plus…I kind of need some time alone." She said before looking back to the sleeping white-haired girl, "Don't worry, I'll look after her here and ask around about how she can be cured."

"Thank you," Ruby responded.

"Yeah, but remember." Yang added with a smile "We're a team, so you're never alone with friends nearby." Blake smiled back before all three girls stood up. The trio exited the house to see Sienna talking with Garfiel, "Okay, we're ready to go."

"Good," Sienna responded before turning to Garfiel, "Take them to the edge of the barrier."

"Sure, Boss," Garfiel said before walking away, causing Yang and Ruby to follow him.

The two girls waved goodbye to their third teammate, who waved back. Sienna walked over to Blake, "You seem to have made good friends in your time since leaving the White Fang." She said to the black cat faunus.

"Yeah," Blake responded, "Really good friends." She said before the two walked in the opposite direction.

Down a dirt road, Garfiel led Ruby and Yang, "So uh, my bad about trying to beat the crap out of you." He said while scratching the back of his head, "I thought you were an enemy."

"It's cool," Yang responded before whispering to her little sister, "I was going to win anyway." She said with Ruby giggling before talking normally, "So, why do you call Sienna your Boss?"

"If she is going to join our faction, she is going to be my boss." Garfiel said before looking back to the sisters with a smile, "Plus, it's nice to have another tiger demi-human around to protect Sanctuary. And she's cool, even helped me learn a few new fighting tricks."

"So, you're a tiger faunus." Ruby responded, "That explains the teeth."

"Yeah, Frederica has the same trait, that's also how you can tell it's her." Garfiel added, "She's my big sister."

"Neat." Yang responded, "Anything else about her that we could use to pick her out of a crowd?"

"Well, I haven't seen her in years," Garfiel said as he looked back to the blond brawler, "But I think she looks like you."

"Oh, also neat." Yang responded before he stopped, "So, this the end of the barrier?"

"Yeah," Garfiel said before taking off the neckless with the blue crystal, then tossed it to Yang, "Give this to her, that will earn her trust and get you into the mansion." He said before walking away, "See you around."

"Okay, bye," Yang responded as Ruby waved. She then put on the neckless before walking down the path with her little sister, "Well, looks like it's just the two of us again." The blond brawler said with a smile, but then noticed a look of sorrow on the red hooded girl's face, "Oh, yeah, you said there were more members of our family around." Yang said before smiling, "Well, it will take us a few hours to get to the mansion. How again some more storytime." She said with Ruby gaining a look of joy on her face.

A few hours later.

"So, he was on fire?" Yang asked, with Ruby nodding, "Wow, that's some corgi." She said before looking forward, seeing a mansion in the distance, "Looks like we made it."

"Yeah," Ruby said before her sister opened the gate. They walked past the water fountain before making it up the stairs. The red hooded girl knocked on the door, then waited.

"Just remember, we're still new to this place." Yang told her sister, then smirked, "It's like when you got to Beacon."

"I know," Ruby responded before sighed, "It would help if we saw a familiar face for once." She said before hearing footsteps on the other side of the door, "Here she is," the red hooded girl said before the doors opened.

On the other side was a girl that looked nothing like Yang and was much shorter. While she was a maid dressed in black and white, her hair was pink. Although this was only for half of her hair, the other half was brown. Her heterochromia matching her two hair colors, but they swapped as she blinked with a smile. However, as she looked at the guest, they had a look of shock on their faces.

"Neo!?" Ruby and Yang said at the same time, causing the mute maid to gasp.

Chapter 12 – The New Locations

AN: There you go, the girls are now in a new world. We get a mini battle with Garfiel before the best/most underused faunus in the series shows up, Sienna Khan. She tells what happened in more detail to the island of Menagerie, including the fate of a few more faunus. She, the rest of the faunus survivors, and now Blake is stuck in Sanctuary until the barrier breaks. Ruby and Yang head to the mansion to fulfill a favor so that Sienna can say the method of breaking the barrier, but they meet with a familiar face. Neo is back and is a maid? More of her story is yet to tell and will be elaborated on soon. That is all for now, thanks for reading, and hope to see you in the next chapter. (Also, I call him Betelgeuse, not Petelgeuse. It does not matter, but it is what I like more for writing).
