"Haji, Mihawk is starting to wake up. " Law yells over the sound of Haji's cello.
"Good, I'm gonna go get Saya and inform her of the news." Haji replies as he puts the large instrument into its case. "I'll be back in few minutes"
As Haji leaves the room Mihawk opens his bright yellow eyes." How long was I out?"
"About 3 days."
"I see and where is Saya?"
"Hagi went to go get her! But anyway what's it feel like?"
"What do you mean?"
" Well you're not human anymore, at least from my understanding. You're a… what did Saya call herself again? A chiropteran?
"Ahh yes, I don't feel too much different, perhaps a little bit stronger. But I…"
"Dracule!" Saya's voice comes interrupting Mihawk mid-sentence." Glad to see you are okay!"
"Yes!" He replies as he sits up," I should be fine." He looks out the window of the dining hall, the night sky clearly visible through the glass window panes. He then turns to Law.
"Young man, it's clearly the middle of the night. I suggest you stay here till tomorrow morning and set sail then."
Law looks out the same window, " I suppose you are right." Law looks back to Mihawk." Is there any place where I can do some training before bed?"
"The castle courtyard should suffice, and you shouldn't have to worry about the humandills. Most of them are smart enough to stay away from the castle." Mihawk replies.
Law gives a slight bow, before saying, "Thank you. Oh, by the way do you mind if I take a sample of your blood before we leave?"
"And why might I ask?"
"Because I'm a doctor, and I want to know more about what a chiropteran is? The best way I know how is through medical science."
Mihawk nods," I suppose it wouldn't hurt."
Law thanks Mihawk again before walking off towards the door. Part of him wanted to observe the shichibukai swordsman, though he realized that he couldn't do much. As he leaves the room he asks," do you want to come spar with me, Saya?"
Saya turns to look at Law as he asks her the question."Sure, I guess I can," She says before quickly turning back to Mihawk." Dracule if you need any help adjusting to what you are now, Haji can help you."
Mihawk nods, as Saya turns and runs out of the room. She follows Law though the castle as he heads towards the courtyard. As she catches up to him he asks, "So Saya, how do you know Hawkeye Mihawk? I mean he's famous, he's known around the world as the greatest swordsman on the planet."
"Yea he has risen to gain that title in the last 30 years. I last saw him when he was 10 years old, after his father was killed by James."
"James?"
"James is one of Diva's oldest chevaliers, he has been by her side for at least the last 250 years . It's my fault that Dracule's father is dead, he was my Chevalier. Before he joined me, he was an agent of Red Shield.
"What is Red Shield?"
"A human agency that has been helping me fight against my sister, it is run by the ancestor of my father, Joel."
"How did Hawkeye's father become your chevalier and how did he die? "
"He became my chevalier after being killed and drained of his blood by Diva. He served faithfully as a chevalier for 3 years before he died fighting James. He was killed 31 years ago during one of my last run-ins with Diva and her chevalier.
"How many chevaliers does she have?"
" As far as I know 4, Amshel, James Solomon, and Nathan, although that doesn't mean she won't acquire more. I have killed a couple of her chevaliers in the past."
"And how many do you have?"
"2, just Haji and Dracule!"
"I see, why don't you have more?"
"Because unlike my sister I'm not trying to turn the whole world into chiropterans." Saya says as the 2 reach the courtyard.
"Fare enough! Wait Saya, where is your sword?" Law asks noticing the absence of the blade. Just as Law says that Haji comes into the Courtyard followed closely by Hawkeye.
"Saya, you forgot your sword." He says, tossing Saya her weapon. It spirals through the air, before being snatched out of it by the hilt.
"Thank you, Haji." Saya says, drawing the blade in one smooth movement, and casually tossing the sheath to the side. She turns to face Law, waiting for him to make the first move, but Law just stands there, sword held ready in both hands to block an incoming attack.
Saya waits a moment for the captain to make a move, but when he neglects to act takes initiative. With a whip-crack sound, her sword slices downward through the air, coming in on a diagonal angle to chop into Law's blade's handle and disarm him. The younger warrior's eyes widen as he darts backwards, tilting his sword just so.

The sound of clashing metal echoes off the walls of the courtyard, as the impact of blade on blade sends both swords flying back in their owner's hands. Saya takes the momentum and moves into a spin and another slash, taking advantage of massive speed to aim for the torso, but Law manages to halt his sword's momentum and bring it back in time to catch hers in a bladelock.
A moment later Law slides his sword up the length of his opponent's, sending off sparks, before whipping it back around for a lightning-fast lunge which Saya easily dodges, before parrying his blade back to the side.
Law steps forward again, determination in his eyes as he lunges in once more. Saya quickly side steps as Law quickly uses his devil fruit to switch places with Saya. She turns with almost lightning speed, catching Law in a sword lock.
"Nice move, Law! But using your devil fruit is technically cheating."
"Still though," comes Hawkeye's voice. " I must say that I'm impressed by your swordsmanship, you show great potential. It kind of reminds me of a young Swordsman I came across a few weeks or so ago in the East Blue. He had a very interesting sword style, he used Santoryu.
"Three swords? That seems a bit unpractical." Law says.
"Maybe so, only time will tell. Don't get me wrong though Roronoa Zoro definitely has potential. Who knows what the future holds, maybe one day he will even claim my title. Now it's getting late, you two should get some sleep."
Saya nods as Hagi tosses her the sheath of her blade. She lets out a small yawn as catches it. She puts the blade in as she walks through the door handing her sword to Haji.
"Good night everyone."
Pangaea castle , Amshel's private quarters
A loud singing voice suddenly echoes from a small vent in the wall, it was what Amshel and his brothers were waiting for. Amshel smiles as the melodious sounds of his love hits his ears.
"Diva, you have awakened!" Amshel reaches over to the table beside his armchair picking up the receiver from his den den Mushi. He uses the dial pad on the side of the shell, before saying" hello, " into the receiver.
"Big brother Amshel, so nice of you to call. How are you doing today?"
"I'm fine Solomon! I'm calling to let you know that our dear sweet mother has awoken."
"Diva has awoken! Thank you for letting me know, Big Brother. I will be over sometime in the next few days to see her."
"Right! I also want you to call you brothers and let them know that she has awoken.
"Right of course Big Brother I will see you soon!"
Just as Amshel hangs up the receiver of the snail phone, it rings. "Purururu! purururu! "
He picks it back, "hello!"
"Amshel!"
"Ahh James, what do you have to report!"
Saya has acquired a new Chevalier, one Dracule Mihawk of the Shichibukai."
"I predicted this, after all his father was also one of her Chevaliers. Don't worry for now we let him keep his title and keep a close eye on him. Make sure not to leak anything valuable, but make him think he's getting information. In the meantime I have good news!"
"And what may I pray tell is this news?"
"Our dear sweet mother has awakened!"
Mihawk's castle, the following morning
Law slowly sits up in bed, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. He hadn't really slept in a few days because he was too busy keeping an eye on Mihawk during his transformation. He turns to look out the window on his left side, and although it was brighter than when they had arrived a few days ago, the sky is still muggy and kind of dark. This place really did live up to its name as the Muggy Kingdom.
Law quickly throws his shirt on as gets out of bed and uses his devil fruit ability to make his sword appear in his hand. He slowly walks out of his room, past all of the weird paintings and tapestries on the wall. As he approaches the entryway to the castle he looks down the stairs to see his crew waiting for him.
Law smiles, as looks down at his crew, "okay ready Heart Pirates back to the sub."
Law follows behind his crew, as they all make their way towards the sub. Saya follows closely beside him. He looks over to her noticing her beautiful brown eyes, how her short black hair fell and framing her face perfectly. He notices the subtle yet beautiful curves of her beautiful well toned body.
The sensual… "Captain!" Comes the voice of Bepo, pulling Law from his thoughts.
He looks over to his navigator, "yes Bepo?"
Your orders, Captain?!"
"When we get on board, set a course for the direction that the log pose is pointing!"
Law turns to look at Mihawk, "thank you for your hospitality!"
"It was my pleasure Trafalgar Law. Now repay the kindness I showed you by protecting Saya for me."
"Of course I will do my best! But before I leave you did promise me a blood sample. "
" I suppose I did, you can take it whenever." He says as law uses to disappear. He reappears a moment later with a small needle, slowly walks up to mihawk and hesitates for a moment. Mihawk sticks his arms out as he says "Relax, I won't bite."
Law finds a bit of irony in that, considering the man was now something akin to a vampire. He slowly sticks the needle into the pit of his elbow. Slowly pulling the plunger of the needle as the barrel fills with blood. Law pulls the needle out, only to watch as the small puncture mark heal up in an instant, as if nothing had ever happened.
Law marvels for a minute at the site, before he uses his powers to teleport onto the deck of the Polar Tang. "Saya, meet me in my quarters. I'm going to take this blood sample to my medical lab, meet me in my quarters in about 10 minutes."
Law turns and walks into the sub without another word. He slowly drops the sample off for later study, before quietly making his way to his chambers, and after a few minutes Saya joins him.
"Saya what can you tell me about your sister, if I'm going to be helping you then I need to at least know who or what I'm fighting. If your sister and her Chevalier have the similar abilities to yours, then I can tell it won't be easy. So I want to know everything about chiropteran abilities, yours and your sister's."
