Chapter 28
Luffy rushed into the weird chair room, and grinned in relief when he saw Traffy in the cage. He wasn't dead then, that was good. He had been worried when Traffy never replied to his shouting earlier. Doflamingo was staring down the hole, a heavy frown on his face, and that made Luffy pause.
Jaggy came to a stop at his side, his scent finally settling when he saw Law. Luffy could see the burns on his back, and he felt Traffy's irritation and frustration when his eyes landed on Jaggy. His Omega reeling. Before either of them could speak though, Mingo spoke first.
"You brats have really been getting in my way. I just got the phone call. First you shits took out my Omega Factory, and now the SMILE factory-"
"No!" Luffy spat. "You've been getting in my way. You've kidnapped my friends, held them hostage. You tried to take away their freedom, and made them all mad! Now I'm going to beat the crap out of you for getting in our way!"
"Fuck off, monkey! I'm killing him," Jaggy growled.
"Just fight him together, idiots!" Traffy snapped.
"I told you to be silent, Law," Doflamingo said.
He turned, aiming his gun at a dark haired woman who paled. Luffy raced in, attacking, while Jaggy began shooting. Mingo dodged the bullets, grinning widely while Luffy kicked and punched, dodging the metal wires he could see glinting in the light.
He saw them bind Sanji before, and knew if they were fastened around his neck, or arms, it was going to hurt. Luffy could feel his Alpha stirring. They perked up, howling at the prospect of a strong fight.
Luffy grinned along with his Alpha, baring his teeth.
Mingo was tough, so Luffy needed to be even tougher.

Kidd scowled, firing off another bullet. It scratched Doflamingo's cheek, who scowled while Kidd grinned. Finally, some blood.
"If you untie me I can free Law!" the woman said, struggling on the floor.
Her wrists were bound with the damn metal wire Kidd knew that Doflamingo liked to use. He had actually paid attention when Law had mentioned that they were Doflamingo's main weapon. That those things could be lethal.
"I've already got to put up with a damn monkey! I don't need Law involved either," Kidd spat.
"Fuck off, Eustass-ya!"
"Comfy in your cage?" Kidd couldn't help but mock him.
He did see the bandaged shoulder though, and that made him grimace. That had been the gunshot then. The pink bastard must have shot Law's shoulder to try keep him somewhat docile. It would made him harder for Law to use his sword, that was for sure. Even if he was out of the cage. The small cage which Law looked extremely uncomfortable in.
His Omega's discomfort and frustration was agitating his Alpha a lot. The blood on their hands though had a thrill running through Kidd, made him feel proud that he could tear down his enemies with his own claws.
That had been satisfying, once he had gotten through the bloody rage. He had been going feral at the thought that Law might have been dead. But he wasn't. Law was fine. Just locked up for now.
An onslaught of meat slammed into his noise. Kidd choked, clutching his nose as Straw Hat slammed into the pink bastard, punching his stomach, over and over again. Lobster and wine flared in response, and the pair began trading kicks and punches, the monkey brat dodging the metal wires as best as he could. Kidd could see the cuts forming on the kid's arms and legs and cursed.
"What the hell is he doing with his Alpha?" Kidd scowled. "Is he trying to go feral?"
The woman shivered on the floor, desperate whines escaping her. Kidd growled, and dragged her back out the way, tossing her through the doorway. He glanced over at Law, who looked stunned.
"Fuck, he's really overloading us with his scent," Kidd cursed, rushing towards the cage.
He realised his mistake. He was too fucking short to reach the damn cage in the first place. Law snorted down at him, then pointed at the chain holding the cage up.
"I think you'll have to shoot it down," Law said. "Unless you can find a ladder."
"I think if I let you fall that far down you might break your neck," Kidd grimaced.
"Kidd, look out!" Law yelled.
Kidd saw the string latch around his metal arm, yanking him down. He was thrown at the monkey who dodged, lunging back into the fight. Kidd cursed, and fired off his guns again, because like hell he was just sitting on the side lines doing nothing.
The wires yanked at his arm again, throwing his aim off. Kidd cursed, because he had shot his own leg before his arm yanked up, nearly causing him to shoot Luffy. He used his free arm to press the emergency port on his arm, shutting it down. It dropped his gun in the process, and hung at his side.
"Fufufufu, down an arm?" Doflamingo mocked, charging at him. "Allow me to help with that!"
Kidd got sliced across his side, but was rewarded when he finally managed to shoot the pink bastard with his free hand. The bullet caught Doflamingo's shoulder just as the wires cut into Kidd, digging in deep. It sliced his chest and Kidd snarled in pain. Law yelled, but the monkey was there, booting Doflamingo back, nearly launching him into the hole in the floor.
That was when Killer, Zoro and Nami ran into the room, a one legged guy on their heels. Doflamingo growled lowly, because some Revolutionaries followed the Straw Hats in as well. The Beta girl who that Sabo bastard liked was leading them in.
Guess whatever plan they had was in full swing now.
.::.
"Fufufufu, looks like you have me backed into a corner."
Law nearly sighed in relief.
"Just surrender, Doflamingo. There's no point in fighting us," Koala said. "We have too much blackmail on you now."
"Oh? And what is it you want from me exactly?" Father grinned.
"You help us Revolutionaries, or everything we've learned about you will go public. All your underground connections will be revealed to the world."
"Was this your plan all along, Law?" Doflamingo asked, glancing up at the cage. "To blackmail me?"
"Possibly," Law replied coldly.
Luffy was climbing up the nearby statue, and leapt to Law's side. Law yelped when the cage began swinging wildly. His shoulder slammed off the bars, and he grunted at the pain, while Luffy laughed. His eyes had a feral look to them, and while it made him feel a bit weary, his Omega wasn't distressed by it.
Luffy yanked the cage's door off, much to Law's shock. Nobody was meant to be that strong, and yet here Luffy was. Tearing metal. Whatever Luffy was doing with his Alpha, it was working. It seemed to make him stronger and faster. Luffy swung himself off the cage, while Law carefully tried to jump down. Killer surprisingly decided to catch him, lowering him to the floor.
"Are you alright?" Killer asked.
"I'm okay. I'm glad to see you back up on your feet," Law murmured back.
"Fufufufufu, you really have no idea what you're doing, Law."
Law frowned, glancing back up at his father. "And how is that?"
"You don't know about our family history. The real connections I have. Fufufufufu, a shame too, it's something I should probably have told you about years ago!" Doflamingo laughed.
Koala threw him a confused look, but Law only shook his head.
That was when the police sirens started going off. They were close, very close, and his father threw them all a dark grin.
"I suggest you brats start running."
Koala stood her ground. "And what about our blackmail?"
"Go ahead." Doflamingo grinned. "Try to use it."
Law barely held back a shiver when his father's gaze landed on him.
"Oh, and Law. When I get you back, you and I are going to have a long discussion about your behaviour."
With that, Doflamingo jumped down the hole in the floor. Luffy and Kidd both snarled, but Zoro dragged Luffy back so he didn't follow after Doflamingo. Koala's mobile rang, and she answered it, her face and voice carefully blank.
"We've been ordered to run," Koala said to them after a moment of silence. "Help the injured out. Lets go people!"
"I'm not that injured!" Kidd snarled, even as Killer went to his side.
.::.
Sabo had met the others back at the vans, and they had sped away just as the police arrived. He had taken Burgess down, and he was so broken that he'd probably be in hospital for months.
"So blackmailing him won't work?" Sabo frowned.
"He seemed adamant that it won't," Koala said. "I'm not sure if he's bluffing-"
"He wasn't." Law grimaced. "I don't understand why is isn't more concerned... This has been his life's work, and now it's at risk. He should be going insane right now."
"He said something about your family history." Koala frowned. "But he also said he hasn't told you anything about that."
"No. The most he's ever said is that he killed his father at a young age, while his mother died due to some kind of sickness," Law murmured. "I don't understand what he means at all. Just that he's not concerned about us trying to blackmail him."
"We'll check and see if it's a bluff, just in case," Sabo said. "Reveal some small things, and leave the the rest for later on."
"It's a better plan than nothing," Law admitted.
"I can't believe Mingo got away," Luffy huffed.
"You did well considering, Lu." Sabo grinned.
"Shishishishishi, I heard you bet up one of Blackbeard's men."
Sabo nodded, his Beta purring in content. They had beaten him so bloody and it was brilliant. Burgess had deserved every hit they had given him. Every bruise, every broken bone, had been done by Sabo in revenge for his family. The only problem was that he had left Burgess alive. He hadn't had the time to kill him off, but hopefully with his beaten, broken body, he wouldn't be able to go anywhere.
"I did indeed. It was rather satisfying, especially because it the was one who always insulted Ace."
"Speaking of Ace-ya, do you know how is he?" Law asked.
"We actually got him out of Teach's club," Sabo grinned. "He's having his heat safely away from Teach."
Law startled. "You actually managed to get him away from Blackbeard-ya?"
"We kidnapped him," Luffy laughed.
"He actually escaped from Teach's club, when we were in the process of attempted kidnapping," Sabo admitted.
"Still kidnapped him though. We got him in our car," Luffy protested.
"You don't have a car," Law reminded.
"We got him in someone's car," Luffy corrected.
"That makes in sound like you stole someone's car," Koala pointed out.
"Nah, we wouldn't steal," Sabo grinned.
"Well that's a lie," Law smirked.
"Okay, yes, sure, but still-"
"I'll take your word for it, Sabo-ya," Law teased, before sighing. "What are we going to do if blackmailing my father doesn't work?"
"I guess we'll have to try find out about your family history," Sabo said. "And there might be someone who can help us with that."
Law frowned. "Who?"
Did they capture one of the executives at Dressrosa? Because they were the only people Law could think of who might know anything about his father. Although he doubted very much that they would be willing to talk.
"We found someone going through a secret project at the Omega Factory," Sabo revealed. "It was experimentations. The doctors there were trying to see if they could change the secondary gender safely to another."
"The person obviously being an Omega," Law growled.
"That's not all," Sabo said. "The person's name is Rosinante Donquixote."
Law blanked.
"Uncle Cora?"
"Yes. Doflamingo was experimenting on his own brother."
Law's heart sank.
