A/N: So after two more weeks of crazy work schedule and another two weeks of a nasty flu/sinus infection I finally managed to finish the last chapter. So sorry for the delay, the plan was to post sooner after chapter 17 but I was in no state to write with high fever… but we are finally here, the end of the journey has arrived… :-)

LAST CHAPTER

FRIDAY, TWO WEEKS LATER

Two weeks had passed and their days slowly started being filled with family routines. Arizona had finished her first week of working full shift again and was now enjoying warm water in the shower running over her tired body. It felt so good to be back to normal, she felt excited and great over all, but she was still a bit tired and looking forward to the quiet weekend with her girls. A smile spread all over her face the moment she thought of Callie and Sofia as she remembered the nice dinner they had that evening and Sofia's sleepy head resting on Callie's shoulder as she took her to bed. Callie was now tucking Sofia in after she convinced Arizona to go and take a shower and relax after the long working week.

Arizona let out a sigh of contentment and turned the shower off. She stepped out and wrapped the towel around her body as her eyes landed on the edge of the elegant dark grey sink and suddenly she saw her hands gripping the edge as Callie's body pushed her against it and soon she felt Callie's lips on her neck as she wrapped her left leg around Callie's hips and let out a satisfying moan. Arizona closed her eyes and let her senses revel in the memory but the scene was soon replaced by another one where Arizona was lying on top of Callie, on the bathroom floor, nibbling on Callie's left nipple as her fingers thrust deep inside Callie's core, enjoying the moans that were leaving Callie's throat and filling the room as Callie's back arched off of the floor while her hips moved in sync with Arizona's hand.

Arizona's mouth was agape as heat ran through her body causing a blush to appear on her cheeks as she felt tension rise in between her legs.

"Honey, I'm gonna get myself a glass of wine, would you like some too?" Callie's voice came from the bedroom but Arizona couldn't compose herself enough to answer.

"Hey, is everything okay?" the voice now echoed in the bathroom as Callie popped her head in.

"Hmm…" Arizona mumbled and then finally lifted her eyes. "Oh, yeah, yeah, everything is fine…" she said still distracted a bit.

"Sofia is fast asleep, I'm gonna get myself a glass of wine, want one?"

"Oh, umm, no thanks, still not one of my favorites…"

"Okay," Callie said with a smile and turned around.

"Callie…," Arizona called.

"Hmmm…" Callie hummed as she turned back around to face Arizona.

Arizona walked over, grabbed Callie's T-shirt and pulled her closer as her lips wrapped hungrily around Callie's lips. Callie moaned softly and placed her hands around Arizona's waist and was about to squeeze Arizona's buttocks when Arizona broke the kiss and before Callie could say anything she heard Arizona's sultry whisper,

"Our bathroom session was so hot, and I think we should do it again…"

"Our bathroom session?" Callie asked as a smile appeared on her face, "Which one, cause there were several?"

"Oh, well, against the sink and on the floor, that's what I had flashbacks of, but if there's more, I'll be happy to repeat those too," Arizona said as she started nibbling on Callie's earlobe.

Callie laughed, "How about we repeat them when you remember them," she said and gave Arizona a quick kiss before she distanced her body, "but it will have to wait until tomorrow because tonight you need to rest, doctor's orders!"

"You're not my doctor and I feel fine!" Arizona protested.

"True, I am not, but Amelia is, and she said you should take plenty of rest after your long full schedule week."

"Well we can leave the sink for tomorrow then, but the floor is relaxing…" Arizona tried as she pulled Callie back into her then slipped her hands underneath Callie's top and kissed her neck softly.

"Umm, as distracting as this is babe, I am pretty sure we've never done anything on the bathroom floor…" Callie mumbled as her head tilted backwards.

Arizona froze instantly and pulled back, "What!?" she asked, surprise evident on her face.

"Sink yes, shower yes, bathtub, washing machine, against the door, all yes, but we've never done it on the floor," Callie explained, "well, not the bathroom one at least…" she added with a giggle as she winked at Arizona.

Arizona stared at Callie in disbelief, "But I had vivid scenes in my mind…" Arizona said as the sound of Callie's phone filled the bedroom.

"Dammit!" Callie cursed in frustration. "I'll go get that, why don't you finish getting ready for bed and come to the bedroom and we'll talk some more about it, okay?" Callie said as she gently pulled Arizona close to her and kissed her lips softly.

Arizona nodded her head and sighed, "Okay, be there soon."

Ten minutes later Arizona was sitting in bed lost in thoughts when Callie came back holding a glass of wine.

"My parents said hi," she said before taking a sip.

"Thanks," Arizona said with an absentminded smile.

"Honey, it's fine, you don't have to remember everything all at once," Callie encouraged with a soothing voice.

"I'm just…, it's frustrating!"

"What is frustrating?"

"I just…, I don't know any more if I am remembering things, or fantasizing about you!"

Callie raised her eyebrows and chuckled.

"Oh wipe that smug look off of your face," Arizona said throwing a pillow at Callie making Callie laugh out loud as she blocked the pillow from hitting her.

"I'm sorry but it just feels so good that you are fantasizing about me," Callie said with a smile as she walked over to her side and placed the glass on the night stand.

"You are not helping!" Arizona protested with a pout.

"Well, then let me help…" Callie said as she placed her knees on the bed and moved closer to Arizona. "Whenever a thought comes to you, tell me about it and then I will tell you if it's a memory or a fantasy that we can still turn into reality," she said as she slipped next to Arizona and wrapped her arm around Arizona's waist as her lips brushed softly over Arizona's neck.

Arizona smiled and relaxed a bit, "Okay, I like that idea…"

"I knew you would…" Callie mumbled as her lips trailed lower at the same time as her right hand slipped underneath Arizona's top and slowly moved up, and soon Arizona felt Callie's fingers brushing over her left breast.

"Umm, I thought you said I had to rest tonight," Arizona teased.

"You are in bed, and you are relaxed, aren't you?" Callie asked as she pulled the top up a bit and let her tongue roll over Arizona's now exposed nipple.

"Mm-hmm, very… relaxed…" Arizona managed to answer as her back arched off the bed.

Callie pushed Arizona's top all the way up and took it off before she smiled at Arizona and kissed her lips softly but hungrily.

"You relax, and I'll do all the work," Callie whispered as she started trailing her lips along Arizona's neck and her chest, giving attention to both of her breasts before she continued lower, slowly, cherishing every corner of Arizona's skin.

"Ummm, yeah, that's not gonna work for long… ahhh… I want to do things to you too…" Arizona mumbled as she wrapped her fingers into Callie's hair.

"Ohhh God…." she whispered when Callie dragged her tongue over the sensitive area close to the top of her hip bone and she moved her hand to her mouth knowing that the next moan to leave her throat would be much louder and when she felt Callie's lips wrap around her swollen bundle of nerves and suck it in, a loud moan vibrated through the room. Arizona muffled the sound pressing her forearm against her mouth and then grabbed the pillow and moaned some more into it as Callie then rolled her tongue over her exposed nub.

Suddenly Arizona felt Callie's mouth separate from her pleasure spots and she removed the pillow from her face to be able to see Callie.

"I'm relaxed, don't stop…" Arizona mumbled as her misty eyes met the same glossiness of Callie's eyes.

"You don't have to muffle your moans…" Callie said.

"I just don't want Sofia to hear us…"

"I know, and I promise you, she can't, we tested it…" Callie informed and lowered her head again.

"We tested it? Ohhh…" Arizona mumbled as her back arched off the bed again.

"Mm-hmm…" Callie uttered as her attention went back to Arizona's body. "I really love hearing your moans Arizona…" Callie said as she slowly licked Arizona's clit, eager to continue what she had started and filled with desire to hear moans of pleasure leave her wife's mouth, but Arizona's hands stopped her and lifted her head up.

"Maybe we should soundproof the room…"

As soon as the words left Arizona's mouth Callie couldn't stop the burst of laughter that left her lips.

"What's so funny?" Arizona asked with a puzzled expression on her face.

"You said exactly the same sentence five months ago, and exactly that night when we tested if the sounds could be heard in Sofia's room."

"Oh really? Did I want to hear you scream my name?" Arizona asked smugly.

Callie chuckled, "Actually you were muffling your moans like now and more than I did, and one night I mentioned that I missed hearing your moans.

"So what did I say?"

"It's a memory, I'm not going to reveal what went on."

"Oh come on," Arizona pleaded, "there are so many things I still have to remember, you can share one with me for once..., I have remembered so many things…"

"Hmmm…" Callie hesitated.

"Please..."

"Okay..."

** FLASHBACK **

"God how I miss your moans..." Callie mumbled as she nibbled on Arizona's skin.

"Yeah, well I miss yours too but it is what it is," Arizona commented, without even a slightest sign of resignation audible in her voice.

"You know you could let go, just this once, come on, it's our first date anniversary."

"Calliope, Sofia is in the other room, what if she hears us?"

"Sofia sleeps like a log, come on, you know that, just this once, please, for me..."

"Well, let's see if you can make me be loud," Arizona teased.

"Oh really? Is that a challenge? Are you kidding me, I've made you scream so many times."

Arizona giggled, "Umm, babe, you scream, I make you scream... you make me moan loudly."

Callie lifted her left eyebrow and looked at Arizona, "Well aren't you smug about this, well tonight my dear, I'm gonna make you scream…"

** END OF FLASHBACK **

"So what happened?" Arizona asked looking intently at Callie, waiting for her to continue the story.

"Well use your imagination," Callie teased.

Arizona slapped Callie's shoulder, "You cannot stop here!? Who won? Did you make me scream? Besides you said we tested it, you cannot half explain what happened!"

Callie chuckled, "Okay, okay…" she agreed and continued to explain what happened.

** FLASHBACK CONTINUED **

"Oh, really, and how exactly do you plan to do that?" Arizona asked, a smirk adorning her face.

"How about I show you..." Callie said as she slid down Arizona's body, circled Arizona's clit with her tongue and pushed two fingers inside.

"Oh okay," Arizona mumbled and when Callie immediately went for her pea like bundle inside, Arizona moaned loudly.

"Ooooh fuuuck...mmmm... God, aaaahhh Calliope," she couldn't help but let out a loud groan of pleasure as Callie's fingers rubbed fast over the little nub sending her body quickly into a spin of pleasure.

A few seconds later after Callie speeded up her fingers just a bit more, Arizona's hips bolted off the bed as a strong orgasmic wave rushed through her body and she could not control the vigorous jerks that made her body tremble hard.

"Mmm... aaaah... aah Calliiopeee," she screamed and Callie smiled as she continued her movements even harder, making Arizona scream some more. A few minutes later, Callie slowed down her movements, only the tips of her fingers still lightly rubbing against Arizona's G-spot, letting Arizona ride every last bit of the strong orgasm.

When her body relaxed, Arizona sighed heavily as she lifted her head and met a satisfying smirk on Callie's face, she laughed softly and let her head drop on the pillow while her hands pulled Callie up.

"Mmm... how I've missed those moans," Callie whispered as she kissed Arizona hungrily.

"Jesus Calliope, you made me scream," Arizona whispered as her eyes went to the child monitor.

Callie chuckled, "Indeed I have and it was pure bliss," she said with a broad smile and kissed Arizona again.

She took the baby monitor and showed it to Arizona.

"She's sound asleep, see?" Callie said as she held it up for Arizona to see.

"Seriously, if our daughter ends up scarred for life it's gonna be your fault!" Arizona exclaimed making Callie laugh out loud.

"Unless you can make me scream too, then it's gonna be a tie," Callie teased as she felt Arizona's fingers travel down her body and when they went inside Callie's soft and slick folds Arizona gasped.

"Jesus Calliope you're completely soaked!"

"Have you forgotten how much your moans turn me on?" Callie said as Arizona's fingertips rolled over her clit.

"Mmm, I think you're gonna make me scream pretty fast," Callie teased as she spread her legs more to give Arizona more access.

Arizona gasped but visibly struggled with her desire to push her fingers inside the blissful warmth of Callie's walls. "I don't know Calliope, what if we wake Sofia up," she hesitated.

"Okay then I won," Callie said with a smirk and suddenly felt her body flip and her back land on the mattress.

"A tie seems much more fair," Arizona commented as she attacked Callie's lips.

"I thought so too," Callie mumbled and smiled.

Thirty minutes later they were lying in bed, their legs entangled with their bodies pressed against each other.

"See, she's still asleep…" Callie said as her fingers trailed softly over Arizona's shoulder.

"Hmm…" Arizona mumbled.

"You don't sound convinced," Callie said and turned her head to look at Arizona.

"Maybe we should soundproof the room…" Arizona said lost in thoughts, making Callie burst into laughter.

"Arizona, the walls are not made of paper," Callie said through a chuckle, "and Sofia's room is not even sharing any walls with this room…"

Arizona propped herself on her elbow "You know what, I'm gonna go to Sofia's room and you moan and scream my name, I want to see if it can be heard over there!"

Callie chuckled with amusement, "Are you serious?"

"Dead serious," Arizona said as she jumped out of bed and put on a T-shirt and shorts quickly.

Callie laughed out loud, "Seriously Arizona!?"

"Just moan, Calliope!" Arizona said in a loud whisper as she stepped out and headed towards Sofia's room.

Callie shook her head and sighed through laughter.

"Arizona!" she called and then saw Arizona get closer to the baby camera in Sofia's room.

"Are you moaning? I can't hear you," Arizona whispered. Callie laughed out loud but then decided to have some fun so she moved her hand inside her folds and started playing with her clit and soon she started moaning and calling Arizona.

"I can't hear anything, Calliope," Arizona whispered into the camera a minute later, "you are not taking this seriously..." she whispered sternly in protest and Callie sighed as her moment was now broken.

"Just when it was starting to get good," Callie mumbled to herself as she let her head slump onto the pillow.

A few moments later Arizona appeared at the bedroom door.

"Why didn't you moan?" Arizona asked as she stepped back into the room.

"I did, I told you nothing is heard over there," Callie explained with a sigh.

"Come on you didn't!"

"Oh I did, I even touched myself, imagined you on top of me and I was just getting to the good part when you started protesting over the camera and made me lose the tension that was building up."

"You're playing with me, you didn't!" Arizona exclaimed in disbelief.

"Oh I was playing, just not with you but with my clit, which by the way would appreciate some attention now."

Arizona smiled and quickly took off her clothes, "You're playing with me," she said as she got into bed and immediately slid her fingers into Callie's folds.

"Oh, you really did…," Arizona said with a smile.

"Yep," Callie nodded her head, "and I moaned and screamed your name…"

"So nothing is heard over there...," Arizona stated as desire started radiating from her eyes.

"I told you so…" Callie managed to say before Arizona's tongue slipped inside her mouth and prevented any more talking.

** END OF FLASHBACK **

"Okay, so we can be loud?" Arizona asked smiling broadly.

"Uh-huh," Callie said as she caught Arizona's lips.

"So I can now make you scream," Arizona mumbled as her teeth started nibbling on Callie's neck.

Callie laughed, "You can try…" she teased.

"Is that a challenge?" Arizona said with a broad smile as she lifted her head and her eyebrows shot up.

Callie's laughter revealed the happiness she felt that Arizona repeated the words she explained she herself had spoken months ago.

"I love you, you know that," Callie said as her hand reached up and her thumb caressed Arizona's left cheek.

Arizona smiled, "I love you too," she whispered and leaned forward to let their lips meet as their tongues quickly heated things up again.

SATURDAY

The next day, they spent a lazy morning at home, sipping coffee on the couch as they watched Sofia play with her toys on the floor, constantly coming over to them, bringing them toys to play with as well. They went for lunch outside and decided to go swimming in the afternoon which caused Sofia to fall asleep earlier than usual, so Callie and Arizona took advantage of the unplanned extra free time to reenact the bathroom scene from Arizona's memory. They were now lying in bed, their bodies entangled and Arizona's mind going a hundred miles an hour while Callie was already half asleep.

"So, you are sure we never had sex on the bathroom floor?" Arizona asked pensively.

"Mm-hmm," Callie mumbled.

"But the scene was so vivid in my mind…" Arizona commented.

"Mhm…" Callie mumbled indistinctly.

"Maybe it got mixed with a memory from another room," Arizona continued thinking out loud. "We did have sex on the floor here in the bedroom right? And in the kitchen?"

"Mm-hmm," Callie mumbled reluctantly.

Arizona looked at Callie and smiled.

"What about the living room?"

"Living room too," Callie mumbled and turned to her side away from Arizona.

"Hallway?" Arizona asked and made Callie let out an annoyed growl.

"Are you ever going to let me sleep," Callie protested refusing to open her eyes.

Arizona chuckled, "I can't help it! I told you I love the half asleep version of you."

"So this is all a game for you?" Callie mumbled.

Arizona smiled, "You don't even realize this but I am being quite seduced by the half-asleep Calliope Torres."

Callie turned around and opened her eyes.

Arizona laughed, "Oops I didn't mean to wake you."

"Is this some kind of a scheme to disturb my sleep?" Callie asked squinting her eyes.

"Now why would I do that when I just told you again I really like you when you are half asleep?"

"I am not so sure this is a good thing that you prefer me half asleep than awake…"

"Heey, I never said that! I just said that when you are half asleep you are quite seductive, so how about you go back to falling asleep," Arizona said as she caressed Callie's back in an attempt to get her to close her eyes again.

"Hmm, well maybe now I don't want to anymore…"

"My God, are you always this stubborn?" Arizona protested. "I am wondering how I ever fell in love with you before…"

"Really?" Callie asked with sadness in her voice as her face dropped.

"Oh, no! I didn't mean it like that, I was just kidding, I thought we were kidding, I'm sorry, actually I am not at all surprised I fell in love with you. You are so sweet and kind, and loving and so beautiful, and charming, and sexy, like really, really, sexy, and you have a beautiful smile, and oh my God your eyes, I so easily get lost in those gorgeous brown eyes…" Arizona spoke all in one breath.

"Wow, these are the easiest compliments I have ever managed to fish out," Callie said with a broad smile on her face.

Arizona opened her mouth in disbelief, "You tricked me!?"

Callie laughed, "This is even more fun now when you don't even realize that I'm playing with you."

Arizona moved the cover away and started to get out of bed.

"Arizona, where are you going?" Callie quickly spoke.

"I'm gonna sleep on the couch!" Arizona replied in protest.

"Oh come on! I was only joking, look I'll go back to falling asleep," Callie said as she got under the covers.

Arizona stood up and crossed her arms.

"Please," Callie smiled softly, "Arizona I really want to feel you next to me…"

"This was not nice," Arizona objected.

"I know, I'm sorry, but we need to lighten up the mood, joke about it a bit, otherwise we will just feel miserable half of the time. Look at you, you are stressing over some really hot scenes that never really happened, instead of entertaining those thoughts and enjoying the fact of having me right next to you to do those things and make them a new memory."

"I just… I want to remember…" Arizona whispered.

Callie sighed with compassion and stretched out her hand.

"I know honey, but you cannot force it… You have already remembered so many things, can we please just be happy for the small victories? Four days ago you remembered when Sofia first called you mama, that was huge."

Arizona smiled broadly and took Callie's hand, "She was so cute when she just so casually mumbled it, like it was no big deal."

Callie smiled, "Yeah, so let's be happy about that," she said softly as she pulled Arizona back to bed.

Arizona snuggled next to Callie and let out a long sigh.

"Small victories," she mumbled.

"Exactly," Callie said as her left hand caressed Arizona's hair. "Now can you please let me sleep?" Callie asked as she yawned.

Arizona chuckled and lifted her head to face Callie. "Of course," she said as she pressed her lips against Callie's mouth softly. "Sweet dreams," she said as she tucked her head back into Callie's shoulder.

"Sweet dreams…" Callie whispered back as her breathing started slowly evening out.

Arizona smiled and sighed happily as she tightened the grip around Callie's body and finally closed her eyes as well.

SEVERAL WEEKS LATER (FRIDAY)

Several weeks had passed and they lulled into their happy family life. Mark was also spending more time with Sofia as Lexie was on her second trip to recovery spa feeling well enough to do it alone this time. Life was getting back to normal and even though it had been two weeks since Arizona had any new memories, Callie was happy, but she still had moments when she would get melancholic remembering a different past with Arizona.

That evening Arizona noticed Callie lost in thoughts on the sofa, playing with a glass of wine.

She walked over and straddled her.

"Are you missing the other me again?" Arizona asked with a soft smile.

Callie smiled and nodded her head.

"Was I that different?" Arizona asked.

"No, not at all, it's just… I miss seeing our history in your eyes. We went through so much and it was comforting to look into your eyes. I felt like you were telling me, "It's fine, we went through all that crap but we are still here and I love you so much" Callie explained and shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, I'll do my best to remember all the crappy stuff we went through but in the meantime I will just distract you with my lips," Arizona teased as she pressed her lips against Callie's. "And my fingers," she added as her hand slipped under Callie's top.

Callie smiled, "Oh okay, that's a nice distraction," she said as she turned them around and pushed Arizona onto the sofa placing herself on top while her lips started nibbling on Arizona's neck.

THE NEXT DAY

It was a beautiful August Saturday and Callie and Arizona were in the park playing with Sofia on the playground. Sofia was running between her moms and each of them would lift her up and throw her into the air when she reached them. Arizona was going backwards putting more distance between herself and Sofia as she smiled listening to the happy giggles coming from Sofia's mouth trying to reach Arizona.

Callie laughed out loud and stooped down to pick up a toy Sofia had dropped in her hurry to get to Arizona and when she lifted her head her eyes went wide with fear.

"Arizona, stop!" she screamed in horror but it was too late as Arizona got too close to the swings and was already hit on the back of her head by the wooden part of a moving swing a child was using behind her.

Callie ran towards Arizona and picked up Sofia in one swift move while getting her phone with the other hand. She quickly called 911 and then got to Arizona who was lying on the ground motionlessly as Callie immediately dialed Amelia's number as well.

When they got to the hospital, Amelia was already waiting outside.

"Talk to me!" Amelia asked as Callie stepped out of the ambulance.

"She's unconscious, BP 90/60, heart rate 70," Callie informed fear audible in her voice.

"Any outside bleeding?" Amelia asked as she directed a pen light towards Arizona's pupils.

"No, nothing, is that good or bad?"

Amelia sighed, "Well let's hope there's no internal bleeding either, let's get her to CT!" Amelia instructed as they rushed inside.

A few minutes later Callie was in the hallway nervously waiting in front of the CT room, trying to calm down a crying Sofia.

Bailey rushed to her.

"Callie, I just heard, what happened, how is she?"

"I don't know, I'm waiting for Amelia, I can't go in with Sofia…"

"Give her to me, you're making her even more nervous… go inside I'll occupy her mind with something else."

"Thank you Bailey," Callie said as she watched Sofia calm down in Miranda's arms when she gave her the stethoscope to play with.

"Amelia…," Callie asked in a trembly voice when she entered the scan room.

"She's fine," Amelia immediately spoke, "no sign of any bleeding, she just lost her consciousness from the hit. We'll put her in a room and keep her overnight for observation. And we'll do the MRI tomorrow to make sure."

"I'm fine, will you get me out of here!" they heard Arizona speak from the scan.

Callie sighed with relief, "Oh thank God!"

"We are still admitting you," Amelia informed over the microphone.

"That's ridiculous! I feel fine!" Arizona protested as the bed rolled out of the scan. She dropped her legs to the side and got up.

"See I'm fi-ne," she spoke intermittently as she felt dizzy and took hold of the bed.

Callie and Amelia rushed to the room.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, just felt a bit dizzy because I got up too fast!"

"Let's just admit you and observe everything for today," Amelia stated with concern.

"Fine," Arizona unwillingly accepted.

"Any nausea?" Amelia asked.

"No, I feel fine, just in a haze a bit…"

"Okay, let's put you in a chair, and roll you into a room."

"Where is Sofia? She must have been scared..."

"She'll be fine, I think I was freaking her out more than I should have, Bailey took her and she calmed down when she gave her the stethoscope to play with."

"See, I told you that she will be a doctor too one day," Arizona said with a smile as she sat down in the chair.

Callie smiled even though for a second she felt a tad of weirdness hearing Arizona's words before Sofia appeared in front of them in the hallway and squeaked with happiness.

"Mama!"

Arizona took Sofia in her arms and smiled broadly, "Let's go for a ride, baby!"

When they settled in a room Callie took Sofia with her and went to take care of the paperwork while she told Arizona to rest.

Arizona rolled her eyes and yelled after Callie, "I'm fine!"

Callie laughed out loud and turned around, "Just rest, that's an order!"

"You are not my doctor, and as my wife you can't order me around!" Arizona teased making Callie laugh wholeheartedly.

When Callie and Sofia left, Arizona sighed heavily and looked around the room.

"This is ridiculous, I'm already bored!" she said to herself and then saw Alex appear next to her window.

"Karev get your butt in here!" she shouted.

Alex smiled and leaned onto the door, "Seriously Robbins, are you trying to get attention again!?"

"Don't be cocky, I'm still mad at you?"

"Mad at me, why?"

"Because you are a selfish ungrateful bastard! I taught you everything and then you decided to leave! I'm grateful you took care of the department so well, but it's only because I taught you so well! And I was so pissed at you that I got on that damn plane instead of you and then all hell happened and it was terrible and…. and I'm still pissed at you!" Arizona yelled and then suddenly started breathing heavily, trying to catch her breath.

"Oh my God the crash! Where is Mark!? Is he okay!? Did Lexie… Oh my God Alex! Did Lexie die!?" she spoke in panicky voice as she started to hyperventilate.

"Crap!" Alex exclaimed and pushed the emergency button.

"Okay, calm down," Alex soothed as he checked the monitors.

"The crash! Alex it was awful!" Arizona said grabbing Alex's hand and holding onto it tightly.

"I know, just calm down please, everything is okay."

Callie heard the alarm sound and she saw a nurse rush into Arizona's room. She dropped the papers she was filling in and rushed towards the room. Meredith had just rounded the corner and witnessed the commotion that had suddenly spread around Arizona's room so she stopped Callie.

"Give Sofia to me, Callie," she instructed.

"Thank you," Callie mumbled quickly and continued towards Arizona's room after she handed Sofia to Meredith.

"What happened!?" she screamed as she ran inside the room.

"I think she remembers…" Karev replied in panicky voice.

"Remembers what?" Callie asked as she rushed to Arizona's side.

"The crash for sure…"

"Callie," Arizona called, "Where is Mark, did he…?" she asked while hyperventilating.

"Mark is fine!"

"The crash! Callie, the plane crashed! It was terrible! I thought I was going to die! I thought I was never going to see you again! I thought I was never going to hold Sofia in my arms again! I thought Mark was going to die! And Lexie was really badly hurt! Is Lexie okay!?" Arizona said all in one breath as her chest kept on heaving, and her hyperventilation turned even worse while the machines around her started beeping with alarming sounds.

"Everyone is fine, Arizona, please calm down, give her a sedative Karev!"

"Okay," Alex said and gave Arizona something to calm her down and in a few seconds Arizona slumped into sleep.

At that moment Amelia appeared.

"What happened!?"

"I think she remembered, I think some of her memory is back! I sedated her." Alex explained.

"She remembered the crash and she started hyperventilating and panicking, she kept asking about Mark and Lexie and said how terrible it was and how she was afraid she was going to die," Callie explained trying desperately to calm herself down.

"And I think she remembers being pissed at me, I mean she told me, she called me a selfish, ungrateful bastard like she did that night and... and she said she was still pissed at me for getting on the plane instead of me…"

"Oh…" Callie let out a sigh and covered her mouth.

"What?" Amelia asked.

"When we got her into the chair she said something about Sofia playing with the stethoscope but I didn't have time to process it, she said I told you she will be a doctor too one day. She kept on saying this a few months before the crash when Sofia started playing with our stethoscopes all the time."

"Okay, well it's not uncommon for another trauma to trigger the memory back, it's rare but not improbable. We'll see more later," Amelia explained as she looked at the monitor and wrote data into the digital chart. "Page me when she wakes up," she instructed before she left the room.

Alex slumped down into the chair with a heavy sigh, "She'll be fine," he said in low voice as he looked worriedly at Arizona, "and she'll now be even more pissed that I sedated her!"

Callie forced a smile as she held Arizona's left hand and caressed it with her fingers. "Umm, I think she'll be angry at me about that one."

"Well as long as she's still pissed at me for wanting to go to Hopkins, I'll be happy," Alex said as he stood up. "Do you want me to take Sofia to daycare?"

"No thanks, I'll do it, she has had so many stressful situations today I want to spend at least half an hour with her," Callie replied as she looked at Arizona. "She'll be asleep for an hour, right?"

"At least, but I'll stay here just in case she wakes up so she's not alone, go and take care of Sofia."

"Thanks Karev," Callie said as she pressed her lips against the back of Arizona's left hand and stood up before she left the room to find Sofia.

She took Sofia outside and sat down on a bench breathing in the fresh air, she just sat there for some time caressing Sofia's back, letting her mind process everything that had happened while Sofia sat in her lap, playing with a toy. After some twenty minutes Callie looked at Sofia and sighed heavily.

"I'm sorry baby mommy scared you today, and mama too, she'll be fine," Callie soothed, "and soon we'll go to the park again and play with the ball."

"Play mommy," Sofia repeated.

"Yes, baby we will play, when mama gets better," Callie said with a sigh as she kissed Sofia's temple.

"Mama…" Sofia mumbled.

"Mama is sleeping baby, she needs to rest, do you want to go up into daycare and play with your friends?"

"Yes, play," Sofia exclaimed happily and clapped her hands.

Callie smiled and got up, "Okay baby let's go and find your friends."

Callie stayed in the daycare for a bit longer playing with Sofia, and then when she saw forty minutes had passed since she left Arizona's room she decided to go back to be there when Arizona woke up.

"Any change?" she asked as she entered the room and directed her eyes at Alex.

"No, she's still soundly asleep, all her vitals are stable, how's Sofia?"

"She's fine, happy to play with other kids, thank God," Callie explained while sitting down next to Arizona and taking her hand.

Alex got up, "I'll leave you two alone, let me know how she's doing when she wakes up."

Callie nodded her head and smiled. "Sure, thank you Alex."

Another thirty minutes had passed until Arizona slowly opened her eyes and was immediately met with the brown eyes smiling at her.

"Hey honey, how are you feeling?" Callie said as she moved her head closer to Arizona.

"So happy to see you," Arizona mumbled with a small smile as she placed a long kiss on Callie's lips. "But my head hurts like hell," she said as she moved her right hand to her head and touched the back of it.

"Do you remember what happened?" Callie asked softly.

"We were at the park, I was walking backwards while Sofia was coming towards me and then I felt something hit me and then all went black. I think you yelled Stop or something, but I don't remember clearly."

"You got too close to the swings and there was a child using one of them behind you so you got hit by the wooden part as the swing came backwards."

Arizona laughed, "And I always tell Sofia to watch where she's going."

"This is not funny Arizona, you scared the hell out of me!"

"I'm sorry I scared you honey!" Arizona said as she caressed Callie's jaw, "I'm fine now, where is Sofia? She must have been so scared!"

"She's upstairs in daycare, happy to play with the other kids."

"Oh good… she's been through so much today, did she cry a lot?" Arizona said as she closed her eyes and inhaled slowly.

"A bit, but she's fine now, so don't worry. I need to page Amel…" Callie stopped speaking when she felt a tight grip of Arizona's hand.

"What's wrong?" Callie asked worriedly.

"I remembered…" Arizona whispered and then looked at Callie as her eyes filled with tears, "I remembered everything Callie… I… I remember everything…" she said in low voice as she watched Callie's eyes fill with tears as well.

"Really?" Callie asked with shaky voice.

Arizona nodded her head and placed her hand on Callie's cheek pulling her head closer.

"I love you so much Calliope," she said and caused a broad smile to appear on Callie's face.

"Oh you have no idea how happy I am to hear you pronounce my name the way only you do," Callie said as she leaned forward and let their lips meet.

"Thank you for not giving up on me," Arizona whispered through tears.

"You are the love of my life, I could never give up on you," Callie whispered as she kissed Arizona again.

Arizona wrapped her arms around Callie and pulled her in, "You are the love of my life too, besides I fell in love with you twice. If that's not proof we are meant to be together, then I don't know what is," Arizona said smiling joyfully. "I'm so lucky to have you, will you marry me?"

Callie pulled back, "We are already married!"

"We are? Really?" Arizona said with surprise.

"Oh my God! You don't remember we are married? I need to call Amelia, something's wrong!"

Arizona let out a happy giggle, "I'm just teasing you, of course I remember we are married!"

"What! Arizona this is not funny!" Callie protested.

"It is a little bit," Arizona said with a chuckle, "and plus you deserve it for the other night when you tricked me into thinking I made you sad, now we are even, so come here and give me another kiss."

"You're lucky I love you," Callie said as she moved closer.

"Mm-hmm, so lucky," Arizona mumbled and captured Callie's lips again.

After Amelia checked up on Arizona, Callie went upstairs to get Sofia and then they spent some time together in Arizona's room before Callie took Sofia home. They decided that Callie would stay with Sofia and Arizona would get some rest and sleep. Since she was staying overnight in hospital it was important that at least one of them was with Sofia after the day she had had.

It was already evening when Alex popped his head into Arizona's room.

"Is it safe or will you throw something at me?" he asked.

"I'm still pissed at you!" Arizona replied in stern voice making Alex smile from ear to ear.

"Stop grinning, I said I'm still pissed at you!" Arizona voiced again.

Alex laughed happily, he came closer and gave Arizona a tight hug.

"Oh I'm so happy to hear you say that!" Alex exclaimed.

"You are weird!"

Alex laughed, "No you were weird not being pissed at me while your memory was all screwed up," he said as he hugged Arizona again.

Arizona finally smiled and hugged him back. "This doesn't mean I forgive you for wanting to abandon us," she said as she lightly pushed him back.

Alex let out a happy laugh, "Haven't I redeemed myself? I took great care of the department."

"Which wouldn't have even been necessary if you hadn't decided to leave in the first place, seriously WTF Alex, why would you want to leave? We gave you everything!"

Alex sat down into the chair next to Arizona's bed.

"I thought you of all people would understand. It's Johns Hopkins, it was a great opportunity for me to try and swim solo, in an unknown place, prove myself out of the comfort zone of this hospital."

"If you wanted me to be even tougher on you, you could have just said so!"

Alex laughed and shrugged his shoulders, "Well, after everything that happened I realized that it's better to stay home, and this hospital has become home, you are all my family, and I don't want to go anywhere else anymore."

"Well, maybe we don't want to keep you anymore now," Arizona teased.

"Oh come, on! After all the great work I've done! Keeping the babies alive, holding the department together…"

"You've really proven yourself Karev, I am proud of you," Arizona offered with a soft smile.

Alex smiled back, "Thank you."

"And thank you for being my friend when I needed you."

Alex nodded his head and then swallowed hard.

"I'm sorry I got you into that plane crash, you have no idea how many times I have wished you hadn't gone instead of me, I was supposed to be on that plane..."

"And you could have died! Everything turned out fine, everyone's alive and well and we are all going back to normal, so let's not dwell on the past."

"But you said you got on the plane because of me…"

"I was pissed because I remembered you wanted to leave, I'm still pissed about that! I will make you work double shifts and make your life miserable when I come back to work!"

Alex laughed, "No big deal, I've been working double shifts for weeks."

"Hmmm, true, maybe I should let you rest a bit and then I'll drill you."

"In a month's time you'll stop being pissed at me."

"Ha, you wish! And let's not forget you sedated me!"

"Hey! Callie told me to do it!"

"And you just did it so easily!"

"We were worried about you, you couldn't breathe, the machines were beeping, I was afraid you would get a heart attack!" Alex defended himself desperately.

Arizona laughed out loud, "Relax Karev, I'm just teasing you…"

Alex squinted his eyes not reassured, "I think I'll be watching my back for a while, just in case…"

Arizona laughed wholeheartedly, "Maybe you should," she said with a wink.

MONDAY

After spending the weekend in hospital and being cleared by Amelia to go home and take some rest, Arizona was happy to be back home and alone with her wife finally. Sofia was in bed and Arizona was standing by the kitchen counter opening a bottle of wine.

"Let's celebrate, the meds are out of my system so I can have a glass of wine," Arizona said as she turned to Callie.

Callie smiled broadly watching Arizona pour two glasses of wine.

"What?" Arizona looked at her questioningly.

"I'm just happy to see you pour a glass for yourself as well."

"Oh, right, I had stopped sipping wine during this period."

They went over to the couch and sat next to each other. Arizona caressed Callie's arm and leaned over placing her lips against Callie's and then rested her head on the sofa sideways, still looking at Callie.

"Do you really remember everything?" Callie whispered with misty eyes.

Arizona nodded her head, "Test me?" she teased as she took a sip of her wine.

Callie laughed softly.

"Come on, let's test it," Arizona said playfully as she placed her glass on the table.

"Umm, okay, let me see… what can I ask…?" Callie said as she took a sip and placed her glass on the table as well.

"Well, for example, test if I know what your favorite thing I do to you in bed is?"

Callie rolled her eyes, "You figured that one out during this amnesia period as well," Callie protested.

"Right…" Arizona chuckled… "Okay so do you want me to tell you your favorite thing about me in bed?"

"You really want to make this sexual," Callie said rolling her eyes again.

"Yeah, it's fun," Arizona said as she started nibbling on Callie's neck.

"Okay, what's my favorite thing about you in bed?" Callie asked.

Arizona smiled playfully, "Making me moan, it drives you insane and lights up all the fire in you."

"Mm-hmm," Callie mumbled as she felt desire rise inside her and she hungrily kissed Arizona.

Arizona pulled back and said "Okay, another question, outside of the bedroom."

Callie scoffed, "You just turned me on, and now you want to go outside of the bedroom," she protested.

Arizona laughed, "Come on, one question, Calliope."

Callie smiled broadly hearing Arizona say her full name. "What is it about you that I find absolutely irresistible?" she asked.

Arizona smiled, "You love everything about me!" she teased and Callie laughed out loud.

"Hmm, let me think, my sexy surgical brain, my irresistible blue eyes, my charm…"

Callie laughed and pulled Arizona on her lap, "Stop fooling around."

Arizona smiled broadly giving Callie a full display of her dimples and leaned forward, "My dimples," she whispered as she kissed Callie softly.

Callie smiled and wrapped her fingers into Arizona's hair.

"Now can we go back to playing with the bedroom topic," Callie asked.

"How about we go to the bedroom and just play," Arizona suggested as she nibbled on Callie's earlobe.

"Mmm…, good idea…" Callie mumbled as she pushed her body up making Arizona get off her lap and stand up. Arizona giggled and pulled Callie's hand leading them towards the bedroom. She swirled Callie around and pushed her onto bed as she closed the door with her foot making Callie laugh out loud as they both quickly got rid of the few items of clothing that were in their way. Arizona stood by the bed and placed both her hands on Callie's cheeks as she smiled and looked deep into Callie's eyes.

"I never thought I would be so happy to see all our painful history in your eyes," Callie said with a smile.

Arizona smiled back and kissed Callie softly, "I love you," she whispered and Callie's eyes got watery.

"I love you too," Callie whispered back as their lips met again and Arizona pushed Callie to lie on the bed as she let her fingers roam over Callie's body and to a familiar place close to Callie's hip bone making a grin appear on Callie's face.

"Now if you don't mind," Arizona spoke as she nibbled on Callie's lips, "there are some things I haven't done to you in a while…." she said as her fingers grazed over a few other special spots that only she knew Callie liked.

Callie moaned and smiled, "I have missed that touch," she whispered.

"I know what else you've probably missed," Arizona said as she moved her body lower and nibbled her way down Callie's abdomen and when she bit Callie's inner thigh, Callie's body arched off the bed.

"Ohhh my, you really are back…" Callie whispered with a smile as she wrapped her fingers into Arizona's hair and started getting lost in the pleasure that enveloped her body.

THE END

A/N - I kind of like this ending but if someone has a better idea let me know ;-).

I will be going back to Trust Your Heart next as I still need to write that Epilogue I promised, but I first have to reread the story to get into the groove of it. And once that is done… well I will probably turn back into a reader because I don't have any new ideas, and I have fixed everything I wanted to fix with Calzona :-)… unless in the meantime I come up with some AU story, the genre I have recently become a fan of…

Anyway, as always, thank you for all the support with comments, and thank you all for joining me on this ride, I hope you enjoyed it :-).
