Izuku looked towards the starry night for a moment longer before he looked at the colorless hover board with a grin.
"Hey Omnitrix I don't suppose you would know how one would fly a hoverboard, would you?" the greenette asked as he looked down at the watch attached to his right wrist, it blinked green twice before answering.
/Simply jump on. Your feet will become magnetized to the appliance, you then use subtle foot movements to control the board; your dominant leg acts like a wheel, up, down, forwards, backwards, side to side while your non-dominant acts like an accelerate or decelerate based on the amount of pressure applied./ Izuku gave an absent nod and with only slight hesitation leaped onto the alien technology, his left leg taking the lead.
He pressed down with his right leg and immediately sped uncontrollable through the forest, with a terror filled scream he lifted the right lower appendage, stopping the board immediately but causing him to spin uncontrollably, a moment later he slammed into a tree.
With a groan he landed onto the forest ground the board still hover, causing his ankles to bend with some pain. " Best day, ever~" Izuku groaned with a half smile, grimace.
After an hour of practicing with his new mode of transportation he traveled back to his apartment high up in the sky, away from prying eyes and slept the night away.
Once he woke up early in the morning and got dressed in an orange shirt and green shorts with his favorite red shoes, he sat next to his sister while their mother prepared breakfast.
"Hey, Izu-Nii, did you see the news! A new Hero popped up! They look like some kind of lava monster and his fire power looks like it could give Endeavor a run for his money!" Kaida took out her phone and showed him a picture of his Pyronite form as he stood next to the man he saved. "Doesn't he look cool! He calls himself Pyromaniac." Izuku smiled at his younger sister.
"Remember sweetie, despite him helping he is still breaking the law, if he really wanted to use his Quirk to help then he should go through the proper channels, at the moment he's no better than whoever made those robots." Izuku winched but gave a hesitant nod.
"I did break the la..." the only male in the apartment paused in thought. "Except whenever I hear on the news about the Hero Constitution whenever a new Vigilante pops up it's always related to Quirks but I didn't use a Quirk." Kaida snapped her fingers in front of Izuku's face, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Come on Izu, stop mumbling!" the younger girl whined. "We need to get going." Izuku nodded and grabbed his bag, as his sister put her shoes on, a moment later the boy followed her lead before the Midoriya duo waved goodbye to their mother.
'I need to research more, find out if what I did was really illegal.' the freckled face boy thought as he brought his sister in a side hug.
Mina bounced along the way to school with a smile on her face. Sure, her first day was awful but she met a really nice boy. He kinda reminded her of Quartz with his green eyes, over exaggerated actions and when he stood up to that big bully Bakugo like it was nothing.
The smile on Mina's face lessened. 'Looks like I couldn't keep my promise to Quartz, someone got hurt because I couldn't protect myself.' As the pink skinned girl came closer to the school, her shoulder was grabbed roughly and yanked in a nearby alleyway.
"Ow!" she yelped in pain as she was pushed against a nearby wall and Katsuki leaned down towards her face with a snarl across his face.
"Did you fucking rat on me!" he punched the wall behind her, causing her to flinch. "My old hag grounded me for a month thanks to you!" Mina screamed in pain as she felt her shoulder burn. "Shut up!" a hand covered her mouth. "If you ever tell anyone what happened, if you ever tell on me again I'm going to do a lot more than burn you!" The ash blonde hissed before letting her go and punched her in the stomach causing the girl to fall on her knees, tears streaming down her eyes and holding her aching stomach. "And a suggestion-- stay away from Deku! I don't need him getting idea's he's actually worth something!"
Mina sobbed on the ground in pain as she watched the bully leave the alley and walk towards school.
Izuku wordlessly stared ahead of him mimicking writing movements against his desk and muttering quietly. The freckled-faced boy would usually write in his notebook but at the moment he was thinking about his aliens and the different ways to use their abilities, and didn't want anybody taking a peak at his hypothetical written thoughts. 'I can't wait to test them all out! I've only turned into half of the available aliens and barely used any of them!'
Izuku could feel Katsuki's glare but he knew there was nothing he could do, he could have been quiet as a mouse and transparent like a ghost and the ash blonde who still had a reason to find him annoying.
It wasn't long until the bell rang signaling the beginning of class that Mina rushed in with her head down. 'cutting it close.' Izuku thought before the teacher began class.
As recess began Izuku searched for his new friend, ignoring the pinch in his chest as the other kids gave him a wide berth. 'Come on, where are you?' the greenette thought with panic. 'Does... does she not want to be friends? Did I misunderstand?' the green eyed boy heard familiar laughter and sighed.
Turning towards the vicious laughter, he saw Katsuki smirking at him with his posse sharing his malevolent smile, his red eyes bright with sinister intent and the greenette sighed. 'I didn't misunderstand, she's just afraid of Kacchan.'
As Izuku began to walk back into school he looked around the playground again before sighing in familiar pain.
Hundreds of miles away in the middle of the blue sea a new Oil platform sat, it's workers going about their new schedule ready to drill into the seabed. "Let's get it done boy's!" the Offshore manager exclaimed and the process to gather oil from the very earth began.
It didn't take long from there for things to go wrong, as the drill broke through the seabed it disrupted a sleeping giant, the large machine massaging it's back before breaking like a twig. "RRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!" a body larger than the oil platform busted from the ground, tearing the structure down like it was tissue paper.
The large Loch Ness monster was dyed a slick black and was several hundred feet long, it's neck seemingly stretched for miles, the creatures face was elongated similar to most quadruped animals, four long whisker like tentacles stretched from either side of its face, its milky red eyes searched the area around its form before diving into the water, moving with terrifying speed.
Izuku plumped himself onto his desk, the greenette knew if he wanted to truly understand Quirk law, he needed a solid foundation just like with his Quirk analysis and Support Items. 'Of course even with all my studying on engineering and my favorite Hero support items, I can't make anything.' the freckled-faced boy pouted to himself.
Raising his right wrist parallel to his chest and pressing the activation button on the side, the face raising up and a hologram of Fighter Jet, turning the dial a few times passing Pyromaniac and Cryo Phantom until a Cerebrocrustacean showed.
"Hey there Lightning Matter." Izuku muttered with a smile and pressed down, his entire body encompassed in a bright green light and in the place of ten year old Midoriya Izuku was a five foot, forest green colored crab-like alien with matching eye, Lightning Matter had large pincers for hands and six pointed legs, three on each side, and the face of the Omnitrix embedded in the middle of his stomach.
"Oh my cranium!" Lightning Matter leaped off the seat throwing it to the ground, before excited circling his room feeling his brain power decuple. "I can see the equations that make up the universe! I remember every lesson I was ever taught, every memory I've ever experienced! This is spectacular!! I... I must use this to my advantage, I must learn everything! I... I must help the world!" The pseudo-alien exclaimed as he shook with excitement and looked at his computer and with a thought, his large head split open revealing a brain that sparked with green electricity which shot out towards the flipped over chair and righted it, as jumped on top, he guided himself to his computer and turned it on.
It didn't even take Lightning Matter a millisecond to disable the child lock on the electronic as he absorbed as much information his ginormous brain allowed.
"RAWGAH!!" Oil shot out of it's large mouth covering the enclosing land, a moment after it leaped in the air and slid across the oil increasing its momentum causing untold damage.
"MY KAMI! IT'S THE END!" Building fell, the ground shattered from it's sheer weight as the oil it produced drowned hundreds.
"HELP! ALL MIGHT HELP!" a thousand voices called out for help, praying that their Symbol of Peace, any Hero would save them.
"HELP!"
"ANYONE! PLEASE!"
"WHY KAMI! WHY?!"
"DADDY! I'M SCAR-"
Izuku spent his first ten minutes ravishing as much information as Cerebrocrustacean could before transforming back and started to feel all the information evaporate from his brain and felt shock run through him. "Oh come on!" the greenette shouted to the heavens.
He scrunched up his eyes and concentrated, trying to remember what he was teaching himself. 'I literally had the cure for cancer!' Izuku hit the side of his head several times. 'Next time write it down, you fucking idiot!' the freckled-faced boy thumped his head against the table in exhaustion.
He couldn't even remember the Quirk Laws he was interested in?! The whole reason he even turned into Lightning Matter was because he wanted to not only read about Laws related to heros but understand it to a degree where he knew for certain if he really committed a crime... and if he could do it again without worry.
Giving a second sigh, Izuku stood up and stretched before heading towards the living room, slumping on the couch he turned on the t.v and after taking a moment to absorb the information on the screen horror filled his face, as he watched a bird eye view of a several hundred foot creature tore apart a portion of Japan. "A National disaster has occurred as some sort of creature is tearing through Shizuoka Prefecture, several top ranking Hero's such as Endeavor, Ryukyu, Fat Gum, Crust and many others are trying to subdue and evacuate the city but the one thing on everyone's mind is; where is All Might?"
Izuku swallowed the bile climbing up his throat and looked at the red hourglass symbol on the Omnitrix before feeling something within himself harden.
Standing up, the bushy haired greenette rushed back to his room and grabbed the deactivated hoverboard, opening his window he sat on the window still and dropped the cylinder shaped block towards the concrete ground and jumped down, ignoring his rapid beating heart.
As the Hoverboard activated and his feet magnetized he maneuvered his feet upwards shooting towards the sky at high speeds. 'My abs!' Izuku struggled to keep his back straight.
As he reached the clouds he pushed his left foot down and balanced out his board before letting up and pushing down his right foot, accelerating the board to even greater speeds. "Omnitrix activate map! search area... um...um...um for extreme damage?!" he exclaimed as he brought his right wrist parallel to his chest.
The red hourglass symbol turned green and blinked twice, a moment later a map appeared in front of his face, looking it over Izuku directed himself over to the red blinking dot.
Kurasuto otherwise known as Crust, a well-built man with black hair combed backward, with a streak of grayish-white hair running down from the center of his hairline wearing a black mask over his eyes, and a costume similar to the armor Spartans would wear, including a green hooded cape, and a black shirt that appears to be stitched down the middle with a red pattern.
Crust created numerous shields of iron hard stone around civilian after civilian as the giant inky black creature roared through one of the many cities of Shizuoka Prefecture.
Todoroki Enji or Endeavor, standing at six foot five with a muscular build similar to a bodybuilder, the Hero had short crimson hair which he wore spiked up with contrasting, sharp turquoise eyes. The flame Hero wore a tight, navy turquoise bodysuit with lines of flames streaming across his chest, upper torso, arms, and most prominently his shoulders, using his flames as a makeshift mask around his eyes, and the tall boots he wears appears to be made of fire themselves, the soles and laces are the only thing visible around the flames.
Enji also wore white bracers on his lower arms, styled in a cage pattern along with a blue belt with a pouch attached on either side, the large man, realizing the muck the monster was releasing was extremely flammable, directed his agency in purely rescue.
Tatsuma Ryūko better known by her Hero name, Ryukyu, a five foot and five inch woman with chin-length blonde hair, which she wore swept back with a headband with a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye. She has thin, yellow eyes with slit pupils and notably sharp teeth, and wore a dark red, traditional qipao with a pale green scale trim around her shoulders, which seems to only be slit on the left side, with yellow claw patterns on the bottom and smaller ones around her neck as a costume along with knee-high boots and a strap around her exposed thigh, and long, almost sleeve-like white gloves that nearly reach her shoulders, with higher tabs on the outer sides, and they expose her hands from the wrist.
The female blonde Hero also wore a matching green headband with four large, pale purple claws attached, covering the right side of her face, and a set of small black dragon wings protrude from the back of her head, with a number of gold spiked cartilage piercings decorating her left ear.
She was currently in her Dragon form with an elongated face, large light grey, scaled wings coming from her back which matched her elongated arms and legs which looked reptilian in nature. Ryukyu wrapped her body around the creature's neck, trying to suffocate it but failing miserably.
The blonde dragon woman felt a tentacle wrapped around her body and flung her off it's person, "AHHHH!" she slammed through the building.
Hakamada Tsunagu or Best Jeanist is a tall, slim, six foot and three inch man with an unnaturally long and flexible neck and dark, heavily-lashed green eyes. He has rather long blonde hair which he combed drastically to the left, covering his left eye. Best Jeanist wore a pair of jeans, a denim waistcoat with two large breast pockets, and a denim dress shirt with a very high collar that covered his face up to just below his nose. He wears two belts, one around his collar and one around his waist, and short dark brown boots with thick gray shafts and soles.
The blonde hero swung around the neighborhood rescuing as many civilians as possible with his thread of clothing, clearing the area. "What's the percentage of the city's evacuation?" he asked over the radio.
"forty five percent, Jeanist-Sama ." one of his many sidekicks answered.
"Any word of All Might?"
"No, sorry. No word from the Supreme Pro-Hero Jeanist-Sama." The fabric controlling hero silently cursed as he watched several of his colleagues run around, saving as many people as humanly possible, not even trying to stop the ginormous monster.
Usagiyama Rumi known across Japan as Mirko, a woman with an athletic build and muscular arms and legs, who stood at five foot and two inches, she had light brown skin, red eyes, long eyelashes, and straight white hair reaching down past her waist. On her head, she has a pair of long white rabbit ears pointing upwards with a slight crook, along a white round tail above her butt.
Rumi wore a costume of a sleeveless white leotard with dark purple trim around her shoulders and waist, a wide, yellow crescent moon design over her chest, and two thick metal plates on her midriff. She wore purple thigh-high boots to compliment her leotard, with more plating around the heel and toe areas, making her feet look like those of a rabbit and a pair of thick white gloves on her hands with long cuffs.
Miruko had tried kicking the city destroying monster across its face with no effect, it barely even looked at her. She continued to try and attack the hundred foot creature at its extremities to no effect. "I'm just getting started you fucking monster!" she screamed with fury. "Where is All Might?!"
As she began kicking a nearby car in anger she and everyone else saw a green creature with moth-like wings flying downwards towards the creature. "Who is that?" someone asked near Miruko who stood still as the Hero? Vigilante? seemingly breathed a green fog over the several hundred foot long Loch Ness Monster that immediately covered it in dark green ice.
The moth humanoid flew around the creature several times encasing it with the ice, stopping the beast in its tracks.
"Yes!" Miruko threw her hands up along with several other Pro-Heroes before they fell in shock a moment later when it easily broke through the icy barrier and fired a gallon of oil towards the moth hero who turned intangible avoiding the hit. 'Multiple Quirks!?' The unknown Hero flew through the oil sludge before disappearing into Loch Ness.
"Did.. did he run away?!" someone screamed and Miruko shook her head with wide eyes and was proven right when ice started to appear over it body again and enclosing the giant monster in seconds, the green moth reappeared above it.
"Is... is that it?" Crust appeared before her, asking with barely consoled hope and astonishment which was dashed away as the leftover oil from the Loch Ness came together and transformed into another monster which attacked Cryo Phantom.
The moth alien turned intangible freezing the tentacles that tried to wrap around him, he tried to fly through the second Loch Ness but it recoiled, moving away faster than something it's size should before Cryo Phantom could freeze it.
The creature opened its mouth and shot a column of oil that morphed into a wave of spikes, and once again the Necrofriggian turned intangible but the Loch Ness body spilt around the green Pseudo-Alien before it's body could touch the Phantom.
As it reformed, its legs and arms receded into its body and it slid across the street like a slug drowning the city with its bodily fluid.
Cryo Phantom flew towards Loch Ness and aimed a column of ice breath towards the fleeing monster, as the icy fog touched the creature it simply left that piece of them and kept moving. "Ughh!!" the green Phantom groaned, simply hovering before diving towards the ground and kneeled, placing both his hands firmly against the concrete a wave of ice climbed across the floor, quickly reaching the Loch Ness.
The oil creature kept losing pieces of itself trying to escape but the ice kept following the monster, a moment later wings formed out of its back and took to the sky, the ice Cryo Phantom made followed upwards, trying to pierce the giant monster.
Loch Ness dodged the spike and flew away at greater speeds, Cryo Phantom groaned and punched the ground in frustration.
Endeavor seeing a safe opening let loose a stream of fire at the winged sea monster hoping to burn the oil based creature away but all it simply did was make it more dangerous as it caught on fire and nothing else.
The Loch Ness turned towards them and roared a column of fire, Cryo Phantom breathed a thick fog that stretched and formed a shield. As the two opposing forces hit, steam blanketed the city.
Both Cryo Phantom and Loch Ness continued their assault with no end in sight. 'How do I stop you?!' the pseudo-Alien thought. 'Can I use my vapor breath when intangible?' Cryo blinked in and out of existence, his ice breath never stopping. 'Okay... now or..' with a thought Cryo Phantom turned intangible, his vapor breath going strong and flew to and then through the fire.
As the beam of heat froze, the Loch Ness stopped it's assault and tried retreating but The green moth-like Alien drove through it, freezing it solid for a second time.
"Is it over now?!" a woman with fire for hair exclaimed in exhaustion only to feel a cool breeze across her skin along with the other heroes as the moth hero froze the excess oil that was left by the Loch Ness monster, as if his life depended on it before dropping to the ground and laying on its back in exhaustion.
"Hey ice moth?! Who the fuck are you?" Miruko leaned over the savior of the day.
"You're the Rabbit Hero; Miruko!" Cryo Phantom jumped to his feet, his wings folding themselves into something resembling a poncho, his voice while dry as if he never drank water in his life was full with excitement. "You're one of the few pro Heroes who never became a side-kick and created your own Hero agency right out of school! You're Quirk Rabbit, while simple is also extremely versatile; your strength, speed, jumping power and hearing are all incredible but what really makes you such a great Hero is your dedication to martial arts! Employing Judo, Wrestling, and Kick-boxing in your fighting style to maximize the advantages your Quirk gives you!" The red eyed bunny woman blinked at his rapid speech about her but what really threw her off was how he mentioned her martial arts.
"Yes! Someone who gets it!'' She jumped up and wrapped her arm around the taller man to bring him down to her level. "You have no idea how many top Hero wannabes only rely on the strength their Quirk natural gives them!" she laughed ignoring the glares thrown at her back. "So I'm guessing a new graduate huh? Didn't see you at U.A sports festival, so you probably went to Shiketsu or Ketsubutsu?" Miruko asked with curiosity.
Before he could say anything Endeavor walked up. "What's your name Boy?"
"Cryo Phantom." the Necrofriggian answered and the shorter man nodded and gave a hand for him to shake.
"Nice job, Cryo Phantom. Your help was invaluable." The green alien smiled, freaking out at meeting so many Pro Heroes, as he grabbed Endeavor's hand. "You should probably leave before the police show, otherwise we will be forced to arrest you." The green moth Hero paused as several Heroes looked on in confusion, a moment later the Necrofriggian unwrapped his wings and flew up.
"It was an honor to meet you all!" he waved excitedly at the group.
Miruko walked beside Endeavor with pursed lips. "He was a vigilante?" the red haired block of muscle nodded with crossed arms. "Well fuck, this is going to do serious damage to our image isn't it?" the flame hero gave another nod. "How did you know?" the dark skinned woman asked.
"I kept up to date with Japanese Hero licensing, in case some upstart vigilante pretends to be Hero to get away." Endeavor told the woman who hummed.
"Are... are we really just letting him go?" one of Endeavor sidekicks asked and he simply nodded.
"He did us a service and we all have plausible deniability at the moment, of course the next time he reveals himself so openly none of us will have a choice but to arrest him for the sake of our credibility. '' the large redhead began walking away.
Izuku laid in his bed with a happy but conflicted smile. He, the Quirkless wonder, helped stop a threat to an entire city, he met a whole bunch of Heroes and even talked to two of them!
He... saved the day!
He most likely broke the law again or at least the spirit of it.
Izuku sat up and looked at the Omnitrix, his saving grace, the watch that made his dreams possible, the watch that allowed him the choice to even follow them.
The greenette never imagined he was even capable of breaking the law, let alone on three separate occasions. The freckled-faced boy knew he still had a chance to go to U.A, he just had to stop, never use Quartz, Pyromaniac, and Cryo Phantom.
No one saw Quartz's symbol but Mina and her mother. He covered the Omnitrix symbol when his picture was taken as Pyromaniac and not many people even paid attention to it. Today, only two Heroes got close enough to even know what the symbol of his chest even looked like and more than likely would forget about it by the time he applied for U.A.
His dream was still very much alive, he just had to stop helping, keep the rest of his aliens out of vigilante work and boom!
He was golden!
But was that what he wanted? He wanted to be a Pro-Hero but that was because that was the only path.
Or at least what he thought was the only path.
Fighting those robots, and defeating the oil monster showed him a new one.
Sure there was no money in Vigilante work but he didn't want to be a Hero for the money. There was no real credit in Vigilante work but he wasn't looking for the credit.
He just wanted to make people safe, wanted them to smile and feel like nothing could hurt them when he was there.
Izuku didn't 'really' need U.A for that and frankly he didn't want to wait that long to help again now that he knew how 'good' it felt.
'And who knows how long I'll have the Omnitrix for? Sure Anatone said i could keep it but what if Azmuth wants it back one day? and well the Omnitrix says it can only be separated from him in death, that's not really true, Adatone seemed like he could take it without any problem, and even if he was bluffing and was going to kill me for it, it's creator definitely has a way to remove it since he used it and took it off.' Izuku caressed the advanced technology. 'Who knows who has the ability to separate me from the watch, and Adatone did say there were aliens who would come looking for the Omnitrix who probably won't mind killing me. So why should I wait to use it?' Izuku slowly nodded at his own thinking.
"No more hestainting." Izuku mumbled before hearing a door open and slammed close.
"Izu-Nii!! Katsuki-Kun was being mean! He told me that the new Hero; Cryo Phantom was a... well he called him a bad name!" Kaida shouted as her feet patted across the apartment towards his door. "And Suko-Chan agreed! Can you believe that?! He saved that entire city!" Izuku smiled widely and opened his door looking slightly down at his younger sister's warm brown eyes.
"Want to get some Ice cream?" Kaida blinked before nodding excitedly.
