Undercover Operation

Chapter 50th

The flight so far had been calm and steady for Loreile. Even though she had tried to get some shuteye. While her escort Janey Winters was on her laptop scanning the Internet.

She decided to start up a conversation with the woman. Even though they had much in common when it comes to reading fanfiction on the Internet as she does. "Sergeant Winters did you find anything of interest on the Internet?" she will have to say.

"Actually I am reading fanfiction by my favorite author having been writing for a number of years." she cried out.

"Which author are you talking about Sergeant?" she really needed to know.

"Do you read Fanfiction? I love the stories that Theresa Delicot writes under different names on,
AO3, Wattpad, Reddit, and Fictionpress. In her latest stories, she has been writing a Voyage to the bottom of the sea that is outstanding involving the alien Darien. Her Scarecrow and Mrs. King are wonderful as well." she will say to her client needing to be protected once she gets to the hospital.

"I will have to agree with you. Since I write to her personally every couple of weeks when she has the time. Do you know that she writes from inside a nursing home the past year as a patient?"

"No, I didn't know that Loreile. Why?" she will ask her with shifting in her seat with the flight long.

"She had no choice with no place to go once her roommate had gotten sick and enter another nursing home after going into the hospital with diabetes and losing most of his foot. She had to give up her place with her own health problems mostly getting dizzy all of the time." Loreile said.

"Wow! That's amazing. Maybe we can stay in contact and talk about the different Fan Fiction stories and besides Theresa's works?" Janey commented.

"Sure. Before we land we need to exchange cell phone numbers? I think it's best that we do it now and place the numbers into the phones?" she exclaimed with pulling out her cell phone.

Special Agent Gibbs had been drifting in and out before he was able to finally wake from his surgery and his injuries.

Doctor Cyril Taft had been sitting down when his patient was waking finally after they had placed him in a coma for a few days with the amount of damage that was done to his body.

Watching Gibbs opened those crystal blue eyes. There was a moan escaping from his mouth before he was able to say something with his eyes now open.

"Welcome back, Jethro! Hopefully this time you will be able to take it easy and retire to the Academy?" he said cryptically with his words.

"Water, please!" he croaked out to his doctor. While Taft had gotten up to pour a small amount of the cold water into the plastic cup.

"Drink it slow Leroy Jethro Gibbs?" he said with placing it up against his lips with needing to raise his bed with the remote.

Watching him drink slowly without any issues with his breathing and seeing that his oxygen levels were back to normal since the change with the heart valve. "Where is Loreile?" he had to ask the one question that was on his mind.

"On her way with an escort from the safe house Jethro. So you will be needing to be patient?" Doc said to see the disappointment on his face. "You should be glad you're alive after having that cardiac arrest before taking you into the surgery?"

"What I can say Doc Loreile is important to me?" he cried out with the response making his friend feel bad in a big way.

"Why don't I call the airport to find out whether the flight from Arizona has or will be arriving Jethro?" Taft pulled out his cell phone to make the call to the airport.

Dulles International airport

American Airlines flight 456 from Arizona had been landing on the runway after three hours in the air making it feel like it was forever.

Loriele and Janey couldn't wait to get off the plane as it was being taxied into the terminal. Finally getting the announcement to have all of the passengers debark. Both ladies moved out of the terminal to go and grabbed their baggage claim picking up their personal belongings.

Janey showing her I.D. badge with the Avis employee checking on the computer for confirmation with the rested vehicle made by the safe house.

"Yes, it's here ma'am." she had to say to Janey and Loreile anxiously waiting.

Walking over to the blue Chevy vehicle. Janey helped Loreile to get into the front seat by pushing back the seat some in order for the pregnant woman to have room.

"Thanks, Janey." she will say. "Can we drop off my things at the house along with changing before heading on over to the hospital?"

"Sure we can Loreile. You can direct me on how to get to your house in Alexandria? I have never been here before." she will have to say on the subject.

Taking her time driving on the major highway before reaching the circle that was going to lead to the main road heading for Loreile's house.

"I must say that there is a great deal of traffic Loreile. I am not used to this having to be living in Arizona?" she commented with turning onto the street that was leading to the house. Loreile had pulled out the key from her purse since it's been a while that she was able to use it.

They had reached the house to have Janey park in front. She was enjoying the view of the old fashion home no doubt filled with all kinds of surprises.

Removing Loriele's belongings to be placed onto the front porch with Loreile to opened the front door to be quite strange after three months. She had turned on the lights for Janey to be dropping off her things on the side of the couch.

"I like this fireplace?" Janey had to say before sitting down on the couch.
