Undercover Operation

Chapter 54th

She had continued on with her husband. Even though something just didn't feel right with her stomach and the baby. She had stopped a few times with Gibbs asking whether she was alright or not.

She had brought up her head for the moment to catch her breath. When all of a sudden standing her water broke.

"OMG, Jethro my water just broke!" she cries out with Gibbs ringing for a nurse.

Right away a young woman walked into seeing the scene before her with going into action with heading for the intercom on the wall. "This is room 1023, please be advised that Mrs. Gibbs water broke to send a wheelchair and to inform Doctor Angela Silvers that she has a patient that needs her.

"Jethro, I don't have anyone to coax me through the contractions?" she was concerned.

"Don't you worry ma'am we will be sure to find someone for you?" the young nurse had to say. "I can always help you since I had two boys of my own at an early age."

"That's very nice of you," she says to the nurse even though she had no idea what her name was for the moment. "By the way what is your name?" she had to ask with the question and with watching the wheelchair arrives.

"My name is Jeanne, Loreile. I will advise my supervisor that I will be helping you out. I know that your husband will be able to appreciate it greatly?"

"I do," he said with a smile while watching the technician having brought the wheelchair to place his wife inside it for now before reaching the birthing room on the sixth floor. "I love you, Loreile please be well with delivering our son?" he had to say with a deep breath before laying back down.

He needed to be calling Doctor Cyril Taft someone on the floor after finishing up a six-hour operation on a 72-year-old male. Dialing his pager number to have Taft call him back quickly since he had been walking out of the elevator when he heard the beeper in his coat pocket.

Taking a quick peek at the number on the screen. He headed for Gibbs's room to find out just what the hell was going on.

Knocking on the door before walking inside. He saw the look on his expression. "What's wrong Jethro?" Taft cried out seeing his patient in distress.

"Loreile's water broke while she was here visiting me. They had taken her to the maternity ward with a nurse that is going to be her coaxing buddy. Look, Cyril, I need to be there with her after all that has happened between the both of us?" he exclaimed with a deep breath.

"And what makes you think that Doctor Angela Silvers is going to allow it, Gibbs?" Doctor Taft had been serious for when it came to the question.

"Please try talking to her since this is extremely important to me to be there for my wife?" he noted with a half-crook smirk on his face.

"I will see what I can do Gibbs with talking to the doctor. I really don't know whether it's possible. Especially since you're still recovering from your by-pass surgery?" he had to say with a slight cough.

Doctor Angela Silvers standing outside of the prepping room with Loreile now in contractions with the team there to keep an eye out for her while they search for a coaxing buddy.

Doctor Cyril Taft had caught her before going back inside. "Angela, I have a request from a patient of mind wishing to help his wife with her contractions and watch his son being born?" he coughed slightly in order to get his point.

"Who are we talking about Cyril?" she had to say directly to his face.

"Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs wishing the desire to coax his wife during the labor of their son." he will have to say with the shake of her head.

"You, have got to be serious Cyril! Leroy Jethro Gibbs is recovering from by-pass surgery and he wants to help out when his own health issues need to be addressed?" she cried out ...

"It's important that he does Angela or else the both of them will be lost!" and for which she had no idea what he was talking about.

After thinking about it for a moment she had made her decision. "Okay Cyril, you win! I will allow it to have Gibbs stay with his wife. But I am telling you that I am not responsible if and when he gets sick further?"

"Understood. I will go get him ready for the event. Please do me a favor and don't tell her that it's a surprise? I have a feeling she going to appreciate it greatly with him there to help get her through the pain?" he commented with her watching him head for the elevator to the sixth floor and his patient.

SOMETIMES LATER...

Special Agent Gibbs thrilled as a lark that he was going to be with his wife for when it comes to the delivery f their third child. Doctor Cyril Taft had made the point it was a one-time thing to not ask him for any more favors.

Pushing the wheelchair out of the elevator heading for his wife's prepping room. Gibbs had been counting the minutes before he was able to reach the room and the excitement.

"Remember try and take it easy Jethro?" as Taft pushes the wheelchair through the double doors and a very surprised Loreile with the nurse holding her hand during one of the contractions.

"OMG! Jethro how in the world did you get the two doctors to agree to come here in the first place?" she cried out.

"Just lucky I guess!" he was pushed over to her side of the bed to take her hand. "Now try and take it easy with the contractions Loreile?" he noted with a deep breath.
