Undercover Operations

Chapter 68th

Director Anthony Lowry took over for Leon Vance after being killed by a sniper with only a few knowing the right truth of the matter.

Anthony had been sitting in the library while his wife Catherine had gone out shopping with her friends from the Alexandria golf course. He had been reading a file while waiting for SECNAV James Elliott to call him back after leaving a voicemail about the OFF THE BOOKS operation.

He had been drinking a scotch then all of a sudden his cell phone was vibrating sitting on the black table next to the recliner. He jumped slightly when he heard the vibration with looking at the screen with the name.

"James, how are you this evening? I am glad you were able to get my voicemail with my request?" He alluded to the question.

"Oh, boy! did I get it. I need to know before I tell you whether or not this OFF THE BOOKS operation will do any good Anthony?" he hesitated for the moment with taking a sip of his bottle of Budweiser beer sitting next to him at home Reston, Virginia.

"Yes, it is James leading to the ECOSYSTEM to be destroyed in Montana as well as Alaska. However, I must tell you those involved with wanting to go are very anxious to find the truth and this included Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs." he will say explicitly with his response.

"But he's in the hospital Anthony?" James will say to him over the phone.

"Not anymore! I understand that Doctor Cyril Taft will be releasing him tonight knowing about the OFF THE BOOKS operation." he exhales sitting in the recliner.

"Okay, this is what I am going to be saying to you. Please be sure that these agents are very careful when it comes to Sonata Industries once they reach Montana. I am going to give complete approval along with six debit cards to help pay for the charges for the entire operation. Understand? I need a report every other day, plus I had received a report today from Montana from a local NCIS undercover agent working with the group. I am supposed to be getting another report tomorrow." he said with sympathy in his demeanor.

"Understood! I will call those involved that they will be leaving tomorrow once they know when their flight will be James," he said strongly to his long-time friend.

"Excellent. Good luck and I hope no one lands in the hospital because of this dangerous operation?" he instructed with his comment before hanging upon him.
