Undercover Operations
Chapter 71th
"Look, Elle, Gibbs is not henpecked! He's concerned that he might be killed and he doesn't wish to have Loreile to be alone with his death. So this way he will stay home instead, even though a lot of people for NCIS is going to be upset at him for backing out on the OFF THE BOOKS operation." Nick needed to have said...
"Nick, please don't defend Gibbs for his reasons. I just thought that he would do something like this in the first place." Bishop moved in closer to him.
Nick was going to be changing the subject. "What about you keeping the secrets in regard to your involvement with Odette and the rebels?" he said with sympathy in his tone of voice and demeanor.
Bishop had gotten quiet before she was able to say to him. "That was another matter altogether Nick." she cried out.
"Was it Eleanor?" Nick alluded to asking the question.
"Fine, I will not say anymore on the subject for when it comes to Leroy Jethro Gibbs," she said firmly with her response.
"Look I understand your comment about Gibbs. But what I don't understand is the fact that you were like a daughter to him and you left?" Nick said with anger in his demeanor.
"Excuse me so did Gibbs leave NCIS to become a god damn instructor?" she prompted with her anger getting in the way.
"Or did you forget that Gibbs was way past the mandatory age to stay as a field agent being 70 years old?" Nick was being slightly defensive when it comes to Gibbs.
"I understand it, but I will never understand it that he will simply just give up on his life with NCIS in any shape or form?" Bishop had to say to her future husband. "I am sorry Nick for putting you into this position," she said with a kiss to his lips catching him off guard.
