Nora James stood on the command deck of the Prydwen. She didn't know what in the Nuclear HELL was going on. The first thing was that she was NOT in the Commonwealth. The second was that She was currently parked directly above the Castle. However, again this WASN'T the Commonwealth. It was a fact made abundantly clear by the Giant Roulette spinner tower. That thing was NOT in the Commonwealth...Las Vegas maybe, but not what had once been Massachusetts. Another thing was what seemed to be a LARGE landing pad. So yes, she wasn't very happy with her current location. Another thing that she wasn't happy about was the state of Her soldiers. First there were only about twenty of her personal unit of Gunners reporting in. The Atom Cats were all reporting a HUGE infestation of FUCKING ghouls. And to top it off, there were a LARGE GROUP OF CHILDREN WITH TOO FEW PROTECTORS! She had all EIGHT of her Vertibirds running rescue ops. Every member of her crew was currently readying the defenses of the Castle. And then there was the other people running rescue ops as well. She had seen variant of the Vertibird, Spaceships, and an ANTI-GRAVITY MOTORCYCLE bussing children in. And Soldiers, Scientists, Mercenaries, PMCs. Yeah, safe to say that The Castle was more fortified than it had ever been.
But the strangest thing out of it all. Was her Formerly ten-year-old Synth son now being FOUR! So yes she was more than a little tense right now. It also didn't look like it was slowing down. There were what looked to be aliens mounting the walls of the Castle with Futuristic weapons. She decided she was going to ignore all of that and instead turned to Codsworth standing beside her in his Synth body.
"Codsworth, have the weapons set to kill any Ghouls and find a place in the Bunker for the children." She ordered while making sure her personal shotgun, a beautiful Gothic weapon she referred to as The Widow, was loaded. She holstered the weapon before unbuckling it and handing it to Codsworth. "I know you probably still have the Deliverer in the shoulder rig. But carry the Widow as well. And Protect Shaun."
"Oh course Mum." Codsworth said belting on the shotgun. "Not a single thing shall get to the children. Am I to assume you will be using your power armor?"
Nora smirked at her Butler/Bodyguard. "Of course. I think an overwhelming display of force is warranted, don't you?"
"As you say mum. Please bring it back in one piece." Codsworth said with a small smirk.
Nora glared off into the distance. "One time! It was one time, Codsworth! And there were four DEATHCLAWS!"
"And I told you going down in that cave was a bad idea, Blue." Came a snarky voice behind her. Nora fought to keep the smile off her face as she turned to face Piper Wright. "And, yet you still went down there with me Piper."
Piper grinned mischievously. "What can I say Blue? You're news."
"I'd say news." Spoke an unfamiliar voice walking up behind them. "Four Deathclaws at one time ain't no easy fight." It took all of Nora's self-control not to reach for a gun. The strangers, of whom there were four, seemed to notice her unease.
"Sorry Darlin'." The apparent leader said with upraised hands. "No Harm meant just wondering if this was your rodeo. The Vertibird pilot pointed you out as the leader of this here circus. I'm Josey Wales, but you can call me six. This is Boone, former NCR first recon sniper." He said Pointing to a Bald man wearing a red beret, combat armor over dirty fatigues, and large sunglasses. "Christine, Former Brotherhood of Steel Paladin." This time he pointed at a bald woman in an advanced combat suit of some kind. "And this little ray of Sunshine is Sunny Smiles." He said finally pointing at a Feminine figure in an old Chinese Stealth suit. The three behind him all had scoped bolt-action rifles. "These three I'm thinking should be up on the walls snipin' but I wanted to hold off on that till your turrets were calibrated right."
"And he's not the only one that brought back up." Said a strong female voice from the right. Nora was not exactly, upset to see a whole group of soldiers in advance armor, humans mixed in with what she supposed were aliens, arrive in her base. "Commander Shepard Council Spectre." The red-haired woman in the lead said, and oh didn't that have implications. Because you never give a random weak squad a name like SPECTRE. She was some kind of Black operative Nora would bet her life on it.
"The turrets have been calibrated to fight the ghouls only, Mum." Codsworth said, having returned from that self-same task.
"Well then I suppose now is the time to Kill these rotten bastards." Nora said with a devious smirk. "I'm going to get armored and armed. Then we will set up battle lines to clear out these damned ghouls and make a safe zone."

Gibraltar P.O.V.
Gibraltar was not happy. He had been on a date with a very handsome guy. Now here he was in the middle of nowhere with a large group of zombies around him. Lucky he was kitted out with a fully upgraded Spitfire, and a whole lot of incendiary grenades and ammo. So, he decided to let out his frustrations. With a wicked smile he roared out. "Looks like it's time to party!" and began firing into the incoming zombies. Even with the high rate of fire from the spitfire, Gibraltar was forced to back pedal away from the zombies. He was tossing the Incen grenades when Lifeline's message came through. And he was being backed into a building when the message from General James came through. He decided that the best thing to do was chance his ultimate. He quickly dropped his dome shield inside the building and rolled the beacon out the door. Then the sky began to crash down onto the entire area. The explosions rained down for about a minute and ten seconds. Which was good because his dome shield only lasted for a minute thirty. He picked up his dome shield projector and looked around at the destruction. All the zombies seemed to be destroyed and so were the buildings and vehicles that had been around the area. He was trying to figure out what to do next when he was brought out of his thought in the soundwaves of an approaching Helo. He looked at the approaching vehicle and frowned. That was a very odd vehicle. Firstly, because it was outdated tech, secondly because it was painted with green and blue tribal markings. It landed beside him and the cockpit opened.
"Need a ride?" The young Hispanic woman asked.
Gibraltar smirked as he looked around. "Well, I think I've taken out everything here. So yes, I would like a ride." He said changing out his empty magazine on the Spitfire. He got into the Helo and sat down. "I'm Gibraltar by the way."
"Name's Trudy currently running rescue ops for a group called the Minutemen of the commonwealth. Don't know who they are but rescue op's sounds like a good idea."
"That's my main job." Gibraltar said with a chuckle. "So why don't we do that?"
Gibraltar was grinning in expectation for a good fight, when he noticed a large explosion off to his right. "Looks like that area could uses some backup!" He told Trudy and pointed his weapon into the direction. Trudy nodded and swung her vehicle to the right. Gibraltar grabbed the weapon mounted on the Helo and checked its readiness. He was surprised to see the number of creatures moving towards the building in front of him. The next thing that caught his eyes was the number of children behind a very few adults. This wasn't something he was happy about. As Trudy buzzed the building Gibraltar began to fire the mounted machine gun. The heavy rounds began to cut a swath through the creatures. This brought the attention of the people to the sky. Gibraltar looked at Trudy. "Can you do strafe runs?"
"Yeah." she told him before firing missiles into the oncoming horde. Gibraltar nodded grimly before jumping out of the Helo. He aimed himself to land between the children and the incoming horde. "He comes Gibraltar!" He roared activating his jump jets to land easily. He turned to the incoming horde, popping the cap on his last Incen grenade he tossed it towards the middle of the horde and began firing his LMG. It didn't take long for him to figure out that this was a hopeless situation. There were just to damned many of these creatures. Thankfully just before he lost all hope, help arrived from two fronts. From the sky off to his right he heard the sound of a jet pack. He looked up to see Valkyrie dropping from the sky surrounded by about a dozen winged children. And coming in from the right was a large group of people that looked like they were cosplaying the old Star Wars vids... until the ignited real lightsabers. Then Valkyrie unleashed a volley of her mini rockets and started firing a HAVOC energy weapon. The people with lightsabers cut their way through the horde leaving cauterized body parts strewn all over the ground. The glowing swords were like neon buzzsaws cleaving through the zombie, and soon there was none left. Trudy landed her Helo and walked over. Gibraltar walked over to the adults guarding the children. He noticed the Jedi and Valkyrie joining him.
"Thank you for arriving when you did." A cultured voice said as a man in a business suit stepped forward. "We were running out of options."
"Indeed." came a highly amused voice. Gibraltar looked towards the voice to see a blue haired Androgynous teen holding up a bowling ball sized clear ball with a yellow face inside. "I must say, it certainly warms my heart to see such a skilled group of individuals show up to help my cute little students." The ball said. Gibraltar didn't know how to respond to this. It seemed that noone else knew what to say to this either.
"If I might make a suggestion." The ball offered still smiling. "If the young lady would be willing to move the students to a safe location we could keep the rest safe as she evacuated the others."
Gibraltar looked down at Trudy. "DO we actually have a safe place to land?"
"Well that General lady made it clear that she was offering a bunker for safety so yeah I think so." Trudy said with a thoughtful frown.
"Perhaps Mr. Kurosama can go with the first group?" The ball suggested. "This way they with have a trustworthy adult with them at all times."
Trudy looked at the suit clad man and nodded. "Sounds good to me." Gibraltar nodded before saying. "Well then I'm going to stay here. With the rest, more room in the Helo that way."
P.O.V. Nagisa Shiota
Nagisa was watching the adults decided how they were going to transport his class and the amazing winged-children and teens. He was trying to figure out how they had wings, when he heard Koro-sensei whisper to him.
"Nagisa," Koro-sensei said softly. "I would like you and Karma to be in the first wave of students to be transported."
"I get it teach." Came Karma's voice beside Nagisa's ear. "In case Mister K needs help fighting off whoever these people are right?"
"Indeed." Koro-Sensei said with a grim voice. "We have no way of knowing what's going on here and I want you to be safe as a top priority."
Kaede then walked up to the trio and whispered. "Koro-sensei. Ritsu met a space ship!"
This brought them all up short. "What do you mean Kaede?" Nagisa asked in confusion.
"She said that the ship had an A.I. like her," Kaede explained excitedly. "Her name is E.D.I. and she says that she can get us in touch with her commanding officer."
"And what claims has this commanding officer made?" Redeye asked coming up beside them.
"None at the moment." Ritsu said speaking through the phone in Kaede's hand. "However, E.D.I. says that Commander Shepard has her whole ground team at this 'Commonwealth' base and is willing to render assistance to anyone if they aren't on the level."
Redeye nodded slowly. "And if all else fails you will have Mr. K with you when you land."
"Hey Shiota." Irana spoke lowly as she sauntered over. "I want you to carry this in your pocket." She said handing him a loaded derringer. "Don't look at me like that." She scolded lightly. "If worse comes to worst, you make sure it's you that walks away you understand me kid?"
Nagisa looked her in the eye. He tried to hide his unease at the weapon, but nodded resolutely. He'd do what needed to be done to protect himself and his friends. He stealthily put the pistol in his pocket. He, Karma, Mr. Karasuma, and Kaede climbed into the Helo. The ride to this 'castle' was only about five minutes. And when they had all debarked the craft took off again to retrieve the others. It seemed that the woman with the jet pack and the winged children had decided to follow the jet, because they landed in the 'castle shortly after the Helo took off again. They were greeted by a group of people wearing futuristic armor and wielding weapons that seemed to fold up to be smaller. Koro-sensei was frantically giggling to himself at the sight of what was obviously alien species as they walked up.
"I'm Commander Shepard." Said a strong fierce looking red-haired woman in the center. "E.D.I. said you would be coming."
Mr. Karasuma stepped forward and began speaking to her. Nagisa started to zone out when a Helo brought in another group of kids. These weren't anyone Nagisa knew but they were armed to the teeth. Especially the rotund boy, who was carrying a rifle and a shotgun. They also seemed to have only two adults with them. A woman with long blonde hair and the mannerisms of a world class ditz. The other was a purple haired woman in JSDF fatigues and a sniper rifle. Nagisa's people watching was interrupted by a young man walking up and saying.
"If I may impose are there any people with medical expertise available?" He looked at the gather Humans and aliens. "I'm trying to set up an emergency hospital for the injured."
"Oh I'm a school nurse." The ditzy blonde said surprising Nagisa. "Would that be helpful?"
"Shizuka you should take the kids with you, especially little Alice. I'm going to take Kohta and help man the walls." The purple haired woman said with a military crispness.
The blonde was seemingly confused thinking about it, then nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, that's a good idea. Is that ok with you all?" She asked the teens. Nagisa watched the rotund boy look at the only other boy in the group, after he got what seemed to be a nod of accent he grinned evilly and cocked his rifle bringing it to the ready position. "Kohta Hirano at the ready, Ma'am!" he barked sharply before patting the head of the little girl and ushering her towards the nurse. Then Another Helo appeared. This one was carrying a black woman, a robot and a group of about a dozen kids, half of which seemed loaded for bear, or Zombies, Nagisa thought with a snicker.
Mr. Karasuma walked over and began to introduce Commander Shepard to his group. Nagisa was all smiles until he noticed the green skin humanoid gazing at him speculatively. Nagisa was momentarily side tracked by this man, because all he could think of when he saw him was, Shinigami. Nagisa felt himself going cold, then the being nodded genially. Nagisa nodded back steadily. It was an 'I know what you are' gesture, on both of their parts. Then the Helo returned with more kids from E-class as well as Redeye.
"Incoming Vehicles!" Roared Commander Shepard, and two very different Tanks rolled into view. One was a six wheeled vehicle the other seemed to be a hover car/tank hybrid. Nagisa was worried about this development until Shepard wave the vehicle to the side and they parked there. Nagisa grabbed Karma's sleeve and dragged him to a secluded corner.
"What the hell is going on?!" He whispered harshly. "Zombies, Aliens, and where the hell are we anyway?"
"You're askin' me?" Karma asked skeptically. Nagisa pouted at him. This was not his area of expertise. He had spent a year learning to be an assassin, he had KILLED Koro-sensei! He went to college and eventually become a teacher! But now here he was in the ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE as a TEENAGER! Oh, and Koro-sensei wasn't dead anymore. Mustn't forget that. Yeah, he was at his peak physical fitness but still he was trained to be an assassin and the only weapon he had was a derringer. What was he supposed to do in this situation? Granted the entirety of E-class had kept up there training. Everyone trained individually and together whenever they could but what was a group of twenty-five year olds in the bodies of fifteen-year olds supposed to do against a horde of Zombies. Especially with weapons designed to kill Koro-sensei, but NOTHING else!
"Look, Nagisa all we have to do right now is bunker down and prepare. We can figure out what to do from there." Karma said with exasperation. Nagisa nodded as another wave of people showed up. This group seemed t be a ragtag group of eight adults all seeming to be ready for war, and if Nagisa wasn't wrong one of them was carrying a 40mm grenade launcher. Honestly some of the people being brought in here astounded Nagisa but he wasn't the one in charge so not his place to criticize. Again, his thought processes were cut off when a man wearing what looked like a cross between riot armor and a cowboy outfit came over to Mr. Karasuma.
"Are your students trained in weapon handling?" He asked without preamble. This seemed to throw Mr. K for a loop but he nodded and said "They are."
"Then I have everything they could possibly need." The man said playing with a large wrist mounted computer. He walked over to a large table and Nagisa's eyes bulged when Weapons started to appear on it in what seemed like a data stream from his device. Nagisa vaguely heard Karma whistle in appreciation as he grabbed what looked to be an old American assault rifle. That's when another Helo load of E-class showed up. Chiba and Hayami made their way over and quickly loaded up on sniper rifles. Kaede was also here and had grabbed a 1911 model .45. Nagisa looked at the weapons on display and quickly grabbed a 9mm pistol with extended mags and a scope.
Nagisa was checking the sights on the weapon when heard a loud thumping sound growing closer. He discreetly thumbed off the safety and got ready. Only to realize that the pistol in his hand was completely useless against what was walking towards him. It was a seven feet tall armored person carrying the nastiest looking M-134 that Nagisa had ever even imagined seeing. The armored colossus walked right past E-class and up to Commander Shepard. Then the back of the armor opened outward and a woman climbed out. She looked to Shepard and spoke. "When you have a moment commander, I'd like to talk about clearing out a safe zone for the Castle."
Shepard nodded and turned to her group. "Miranda can set it up." She said pointing out a brunette in black armor. "She one of my chief lieutenants." The Brunette stood a little straighter at this. "Now I would like to have my other Lieutenant to take some of my men to the walls if that's alright?"
"Sounds like a good idea to me." The woman said. Then smiled. "Now before we go out to wage war on these damned ghouls, I'm going to kiss my son."
Nagisa watched this thoughtfully. He and Kaede had been dating whle he was a teacher and she pursued her acting career. But when he had woken up her he had been kissing Karma. He still didn't know why they had been kissing. Putting out of his mind for now he holstered the pistol on his right leg and grabbed a hand to hand combat knife that he attached to his left. He finally picket up an all wood stock combat rifle and nodded to the man who provided the weapons. He made his way over to a spot out of the way and began to watch the people coming and going. He needed time to think.
Shepard clone P.O.V.
Shepard had been running around through the streets of a very primitive city. She didn't know why she was here but she didn't like it. Maya brooks was with her of course but they were alone otherwise. Then the messages started coming through. She decided that the best course of action was to go toward where her 'original' was. Maya really hadn't wanted to do that, but when Shep threatened to blow her head off she complied. They made their way through the horde of Husks and just in time to see shepard's team being evaced by a few really old Helos. But she watched where they were headed. And that's the way they went. They made quick work of the Husks, between Shep's biotics and Maya's stealth they had no problem. Along the way they met up with a bald man named Kellogg. He was carrying an old black powder revolver and a black powder assault rifle. They agreed to head to the Castle together. The Castle apparently being the main base of an old friend of his. Shep wasn't fooled by the way he said 'old friend' but she'd let it ride for now. The fought their way through a small shopping center to find a man named Richard B. Riddick. He had introduced himself as a murderer. Shep's first thought was that she should kill him, then her next thought was that her 'original' had a bald murderer. So why shouldn't she? So, she had offered him a chance to join her merry band of misfits at least until they knew what was going on. They were coming up on the 'Castle' when they were hailed by a pair of young girls. One is a black trench coat with long dark purple hair and the other in a battle suit, carrying an old-fashioned Anti-Material rifle bigger than she was. Shep was honestly surprised by this beyond words. That gun looked like it weighed eighty pounds or more. Shep had to give the girls credit though they looked no worse for the wear of being in a full out Zombie Apocalypse. They pushed their way through the horde when Maya picked up a distress call from an Adam Jensen. Maya informed Shep that this man seemed to be bunkered down with a good handful of children, some seeming to be alien, {his words} none capable of fighting. Shep looked at her Improvised ground team and stated. "It looks like we have some kids to save. Any ideas on this?"
"No ideas needed." Kellog said checking his assault rifles ammo mag. "I'm a mercenary and an asshole when I need to be. But you said children, the only thing that needs to be said is 'Charge!'"
"I agree." The trench coat wearing girl said with a frown. She then pulled out what looked to be a weapon hilt of some kind. That was confirmed when she ignited a blade of purple plasma. This seemed to draw every eye. Shep nodded. "Alright. Let's move out!"
It took twenty minutes to get to the park, that Jensen mentioned in his message. From there it was easy to find the raised pavilion he had taken refuge in. What they saw when they arrived was a Cyborg in a trench coat using CQC to take out zombies.
"Thin the herd!" Shep roared before using a biotic charge to get into the middle of the Zombies and then using a nova to the right and another to the left to blast the Zombies away. She noticed that Kellog was charging in beside Riddick and the girl in her trench coat. Shep really needed to get the two girls' names. Her thought process was jarred to a halt by a thunderous sound as the other girl's Anti-material rifle barked wiping out a whole line of Zombies. With the combined might of the whole group, it didn't take long for the zombies to go down.
Shep walked up to Adam Jensen with her hand outstretched. "I'm Shepard, we got your distress call." She said without preamble. "How many kids do we have to Evac?"
The cyborg shook her hand and said grimly. "Twenty all under six."
This brought a sharp gasp from everyone. "How are we going to safely transport twenty kids?" Kellog asked gruffly.
Shep frowned thoughtfully. "I may have a way to get a ride but it depends on wether or not they listen." She walked a little way away from the others, before activating her Omni-tool. She called up the frequency for E.D.I. and hoped she would get an answer.
"How do you have this frequency?" Came an immediate synthetic voice. Shep let out a sigh.
"E.D.I. This is shepards clone I mean no harm, would you please patch me through to her?" Shep said through gritted teeth. There was a short pause, then.
"I am patching you through." Shep scowled off into the distance. She didn't want to let her origanal know she was alive over a fucking omni-tool call! But still. There were children in danger. Some of them human, and she needed help.
"You know. I am honestly surprised to be hearing from you." Shepard's voice said stoically. "And I would be trying to find out who you really were, were it not for the fact that I have seen five other dead people today."
"I know that I'm probably the last person you want anything to do with." Shep started. "But I have a group of twenty children under six years old. I was making my way towards you when you took off. I decided to try to follow you. I have a team of my own. We answered a distress call. And now I have twenty children in need of evac. Is it possible to get them a ride?"
"You realize that I'm going to want to be sure you aren't going to try to kill me correct?" Shepard asked skeptically.
"I kind of figured." Shep said with a frown. "But be aware I'm not ready to go up against your biotics again so soon after my death."
"What are you talking about?" Shepard as confused. "I'm not a biotic."
Shep could hear the confusion over the Omni-tool, but she knew that Shepard was a biotic. Hell, it had been a Biotic charge that had knocked both of them to the bottom of the cargo ramp right before she died. "You, what? No never mind." Shep said in confusion. "Can you get me some transport or not?"
"I'll send someone towards you." Shepard said with surety. Shep had to give the Commander credit. She had a good streak when it came to the impossible. Shep nodded, though she realized that Commander Shepard wouldn't see it. "I'll be waiting." She said and cut the comm.
