P.O.V. John Preston

John Preston was confused. He still hadn't mastered the use of his emotions. He had woken up in this town that looked pre-world War three. Beside him were his son and daughter, as well as a dozen other children around their approximate age. He didn't like what he was seeing either. All around them off in the distance they heard the sounds of fighting. So far he had yet to see any proof of what was being fought but he had seen the air transports flying around. He hadn't known what to do until he got these children somewhere safe. This was turning out harder than he had thought. He was trying to get one of those Helos down so that he could get something done with these kids when he heard gunfire coming from the left and getting closer. He quickly brought the children into a house and had his son bar the door. Then he drew his pistols and got ready. He was no longer a cleric. But he was still the best that ever came out of that system. The first thing he saw coming towards him was another group of children, being led by a young red-haired woman, wearing a white skin tight suit. He pointed them toward the build with his son looking out the window and dropped into the starting stance of the Gun Kata. The last of the children, a small dark-skinned girl came rushing past looking back worriedly towards the slowly retreating rear guard. There were three of them. A tall reptilian biped in armor like he'd never seen. A small blue furred, four-armed creature in a jump-suit. And finally, was a man dressed in jeans and a leather jacket who seemed to be in his element killing what appeared to be zombies.

John Preston watched as the young Woman rushed her gaggle of children inside. He breathed in deeply allowing his emotions to bleed away as the three warriors that had been defending the children drew closer to him as they retreated from the advancing horde. As the last emotions of John Preston disappeared into the empty pit that was Cleric Preston both Pride and Bane of the Tetragrammaton. As the last warrior, the man in the leather coat, past him; Cleric Preston moved. His guns fired as he moved through the forward kata. Each bullet was a debilitating wound. Or they would have been if the enemy was purely human. The worst thing about fighting zombies had always been the fact that they can take killing blows and keep moving forward. This has always been the thing that brought down those who didn't know how to deal with this. The pure terror of fighting something that just won't die has left men stunned with fear. Then dead before they can recover. This was not a technique that would work on someone who had shut their emotions OFF however. And instead of being overwhelmed, he merely noted what was and wasn't working. Then he adjusted his attacks accordingly. The first two fifteen round clips were spent discarded and replaced. Then he began to kill a zombie with every shot. With perfect accuracy developed from years of strenuous practice he emptied the next round of magazines as efficiently as the last. Soon he was down to his last two clips and no more foes to speak of.

When the last of the Zombies was dispatched Cleric Preston allowed his emotions to flow back into him. His body broke out into a cold sweat and his breathing became erratic, this was noticed by the alien and the human man walking towards him.

"You, ok?" The man asked with a frown. John was slowly calming down from the rush of emotions. He nodded reassuringly. "It's nothing." He said calming enough to speak. "I'm just getting the feedback of all my emotions at once."

The man gave a look of surprise. "That seems dangerous." He said uncertainly.

"It could be if I took them all back into myself while in a dangerous situation." John admitted easily, "But so is fighting, whatever these things are."

"That's true." The man acknowledged. "Fighting B.O.W.s is always dangerous. I'm Leon Kennidy by the way."

"And I an Nyreen Kandros." The alien said stepping forward, and putting her gun on her back. John watched astonished as it folded up and stuck to her back. "It's magnetic." She explains." With what he assumed was a grin. He nodded thoughtfully, but their talk was interrupted by a little girl screaming whilst rushing from the building.

"STITCH!" She roared rushing towards the little blue biped. "Lilo!" The little, blue, uh stitch before hugging the little girl. John looked at it oddly. "Don't worry they are safe." Said the red-haired young lady stepping forward. "Kim Possible at your service."

They were interrupted by the sound of an air transport arriving. This brought John a feeling he wasn't used to. Annoyance. He wasn't happy with the late arrival. He had to sigh. He was still not in control of his emotions at all times. When the Helo touched down John immediately knew there wasn't enough room for all the children.

"Do any of you have .45 ACP rounds?" He asked the people getting off the Helo. "I'm low on ammo and you can't get all these kids out at once." One of the men looked at the other, who shrugged before grabbing an ammo crate and passing it to John. John nodded and began to load the empty magazines before storing them into his sleeve speed loaders.

"We need to get these kids back inside while we wait for more extraction." Leon said reloading his own weapons.

"I can go with the first batch in case there is trouble." Kim said lowly to the warriors.

"Take Stitch with you." Nyreen said just as lowly. "Having four plasma pistols and an indestructible fighter on your side will help a lot I'd wager." Kim seemed to think this was a good idea because she nodded. Once the kids were loaded into the Helo and the rest were back in the house, with John, Leon, and Nyreen patrolling it was time to wait.

Splinter P.O.V.

Splinter watched the goings on of his sons. What had started out as an unusually common occurrence of his sons battling Oroku Saki's clan of ninja. This turned into a running battle against zombies of all things. This became even more complicated when children became involved. And thus, we come to the situation now. Splinter and his sons as well as Venus and Jennika, were fighting alongside the foot clan.

Shredder's explanation was an exclaimed. "I hate the turtles, and the Rat, but those are HUMAN children and you will protect them!"

Oroku Saki was a very complex human. Splinter would give him that. But he whole heartedly agreed with the 'save the children' part of that. So now he stood back-to-back with the Shredder killing zombies. This had been going on for the last about ten minutes. There was also a bald young woman wearing a white outfit fighting alongside the rest. It seemed that neither he nor Saki knew who she was. It was splinter's sharper hearing that allowed him to overhear the messages from the young woman's ear piece. He was about to relay the message when the young woman spoke.

"I'm going to punch a tunnel!" Then she pressed a button on her wrist and waved her hands making a blue space in the air. Then she began running toward a large building. Splinter watched impressed as she began to climb the build by use of parkour. When she made it to the top, she made another blue shimmer. Then she stepped into and stepped out of the first. This raised the eyebrows of a few people.

"Get the children through the portal!" She roared before grabbing the closest children and jumped through the portal appearing at the roof again. She then pulled a rifle from her back and began sniping zombies. The gun she was using honestly looked like a plastic toy, but honestly it was killing zombies with every shot, including one shot that killed three zombies.

Splinter grabbed to children and looked to his sons. "Get the children through the portal!" He roared before jumping through the portal. He gently sat the children down and leapt to the edge of the roof. He looked down to see his sons and their counterparts' grabbing children and rushing into the portal. Shredder was the last through the portal, and as soon as he stepped out it closed. This left all the children as well as the ninja of two feuding clans on the roof of a building. Splinter walked over to the young woman and placed a hand upon her shoulder.

"There is no use wasting your ammunition on them for now." he told her gently. The woman gazed at him, seeming to catalogue his features, before nodded and slinging the weapon onto her back. She turned to the rest of the ninja on the roof.

"I got a message that said we needed to make a way for the transports to find us. I'm thinking of setting one of those houses on fire." She said pointing toward the opposite side of the street. "But I have no idea how long it will take for someone to get here. So maybe we should find something to eat and drink for the children?"

Splinter's whiskers twitched. "My sons can gather essentials while your build a signal." He told her easily. "Whilst I and the girls stay here with the foot clan." Splinter smirked at the scoff from the Shredder. Splinter smirked at the Shedder he obviously remembered Splinter killing him as well.

Revan P.O.V.

Revan looked at the landscape in confusion. This was not a planet he'd ever been on, of that, he was sure. He looked around him to find the love of his life Bastila Shan and a large group of younglings.

"Bastila do you know where we are?" He asked feeling around them with the force. He curled his nose when he felt the drained dark side energy. This place had been a dark side nexus until very recently. Revan looked at his wife and noticed that she looked like she was the age they had been when they fought Malek together. He was still trying to sense what was going on when Bastila said worriedly.

"Revan, I feel a dark side user getting closer." Bastila said ushering the children behind her. She pulled out her lightsaber and got ready for a fight, only to notice that Revan wasn't prepping for a fight. The group that arrived was unknown to her but not completely unknown to Revan.

"Meetra, Master." Revan said acknowledging Both a middle-aged woman as well as an older woman, with only one hand. He was greeted by a weary Meetra and a calm Kreia.

"I see you have renounced the Sith." Kreia said blandly. "That is good, I'd hate to have to kill you."

"I could say the same for you master." Revan said with a wry grin. "Meetra, it's good to see you." He told the younger woman.

"It's good to see you too." She said, before stepping in and driving her knee into his groin. Revan fell to his knees gasping in pain.

"Why?" He croaked out as Bastila rushed to his side.

"That's for the damage you did to the republic with your war." Meetra said sweetly. Revan no matter his pain had to acknowledge that he had deserved that.

"You're right." He wheezed. "But I will not be allowing anymore free hits like that." He said standing straight and wincing slightly. He then took a good look at who all were arrayed around her. A woman in long flowing red dress with a matching hood. A youthful man with a roguish look. Aman with shocking with hair styled into spikes, which was a contrast to his peaceful face. There was also a young woman with crimson colored hair, dressed in a bounty hunter's outfit. However, it was the two that really caught his attention. It was a pair of droids, very familiar droids. T3-M4 and HK-47.

His smile was genuine despite the pain. "HK, T3 it's good to see you. How's my ship?"

The response was interrupted by the arrival of a large group of younglings arrived being surrounded by force users. None of them were known to Revan however. He noticed that they didn't seem to recognize him either. He also noticed that not all among them were force sensitives. Though he noticed that everyone seemed to be contacting their ships from what it looked like. Revan did make a note of the droids, Every one of them was a model he'd never seen before, and given all the effort he had put into HK-47. THAT was a statement.

"Not that I want to darken this meeting." One of the closest force users said with a sardonic smile. "But do you perhaps have a way to get these younglings somewhere safe?"

Revan looked at him curiously. "Well, I'm not entirely sure where my ship is." He said self-deprecatingly.

HK-47 then spoke up. "Unnecessary remark: Master the ship is currently hailing us."

"Patch it through T3." Revan and Meetra said at the same time. This caused both to stare at the other in confusion. "Why do you have my droids?" Revan finally asked. Again, he was interrupted, this time by his comm.

"Revan! This is Carth. I'm on the Ebon Hawk where are you at, I'll bring the ship to you." Carth reported over the comm.

"Why do you have someone in my ship?" Meetra asked perturbed. Revan looked at her skeptically before again being interrupted by the jedi in front of them. This one a young man with a bald head and a serious scowl. "Focus please." Revan could already feel the headache coming on.

Bloodhound P.O.V.

Bludhundr wasn't happy They were in enemy territory with a large group of children. Logic might dictate leaving the children to get to safety. But they were a follower of the Aesir. And NO follower of Odin would sacrifice a group of children to save themselves! Cowards would never reach Valhalla. So, here they were slowly leading a group of children through Draugr infested streets to the safety of a fort. Bloodhound had seen this fort while searching the skyline with their sniper rifle. The charge Rifle was a great weapon when taking out enemies on your own from great distances. It was a horrible weapon for fighting a horde while defending children. The Wingman on their hip wasn't much better. So, Bloodhound had taught the children the ancient art of stealth positioning. With limited success they would admit but still they hadn't been spotted and all of the children were accounted for. They had been slowly making their way forward for two hours now. Occasionally bloodhound would leave the children somewhere secure so that they would be able to distract the draugr in another direction. However, the end was now in sight, the problem was there was a rather large group of zombies between the group and safety.

This was made possibly easier by the snipers on the walls of the fort. Bloodhound was sure if he could get their attention, then maybe they could help to clear a path through the Draugr. Bloodhound looked at the children around themselves.

"Children you must listen to me." Bloodhound started quietly. "I am going to push my way through the horde of Draugr. I will be doing this in as loud a manner as possible. You must stay close to me. I will be killing the Draugr and trying to gain the attention of the Snipers on the walls. Do Not Wander from my side!"

The children nodded seriously. Bloodhound took the time to gaze directly into the eyes of each child before nodding and standing up. They nodded resolutely before raising the charge rifle and aiming it, at head height on the majority of the zombies, and fired it towards the walls of the fort in front of them. The large laser cut a swathe threw the Draugr and caused many to drop. Bloodhound then dropped the Charge Rifle to the ground, pulled out their wingman. With a quick prayer to both Odin and Tyr, bloodhound activated their ultimate skill. The audio and video analyzing instruments in their helmet began working at 150 % capacity the adrenal stim coursed through their veins, and they began to kill. With the extra sensory input from the devices, and the stims running full throttle through their veins, bloodhound tore through the Draugr like a scything wind. Each shot of the heavy pistol blew either a head or a limb off the undead creatures. Every time the gun was emptied, they quickly pulled a speed loader out and reloaded. This was making a lot of noise and drawing more Draugr to their location. Thankfully it was also drawing the attention of the snipers on the wall. Soon bodies were dropping all around them.

That is also unfortunately when the stims wore off. The momentary discombobulation of the overloaded sensors without the help of the stim caused them to stagger while resetting the sensors. This was all the monsters around them needed to attack. Bloodhound felt a deep-seated pain when they realized that they had failed the children. Until they heard a ROAR. No multiple roars. They watched in astonishment as a menagerie came from the left and began to attack the Draugr. A lion, A tiger, a Grizzley bear, A hawk, a Gorrila, an Elephant, and what looked like a cross between deer a centaur and a scorpion.

GET UP WARRIOR! A voice rang out in their head. They didn't have time to acknowledge this though. Bloodhound leapt to the front of the children with a freshly reloaded Wingman and began firing again. The shots from the snipers were coming in like a swarm of angry hornets. Every crack of a rifle left a dead Zombie. The animals surrounded the children with Bloodhound in the center of the wedge pushing forward. Then more help arrived. A large group of heavily armored and armed troops came barreling out of the fort. With a quick glance Bloodhound noticed that many of the weapons and armor seemed to be different from the ones that they were familiar with. Quite a few were older than they were used to, and others seemed to be much more advanced.

The new group of combatants were careful to not fire around Bloodhound or the children. They did however make quick work of the Draugr in a huge circle around them. With the new weapons added, it took no effort to get into the fort. Once there, Bloodhound allowed themselves to breathe a sigh of relief. Since waking in this place the weight of a dozen children's lives had been weighing on them. However, they were safe now.

Anubis P.O.V.

Anubis was annoyed. Those self-righteous creatures dared to oust him from ascendency? HIM?! Anubis The God of the dead?! The greatest goa'uld since RA?! They would pay for this! He would find a way to make them pay! The only thing that seemed to be going right for him was that he seemed to be on the Tauri home planet. And even better, he was near a possible host! Anubis crawled to the being laying on the ground beside him and quickly latched onto its body. The takeover was seamless. It appeared the being was almost catatonic. It didn't take long for the partially ascended to realize why this being was catatonic. It had TWO complete sets of memories from birth to death. Neither life had been particularly good either. Both had been lives of pain and hurt. But both people had been beings of great strength. In fact, both had been Hoktar! Anubis stood up and looked at his new body. It was strong. Strong and beautiful. All over the skin were silver tattoos. Instead of hair there were horns adorning his head. And he was dressed in what appeared to be black leather pants with a matching half cape and boots. Attached to his hips were what he knew to be the hilts of a pair of lightsabers. He was so busy looking over his knew body that he almost missed the approaching zombies. Almost, but not quite. He came out of his self-study to find a horde of zombies surrounding him.

He sneered at the approaching creatures, before his expression turned into one of hellish delight. This was the perfect opportunity to test out his new body. As he began to cut a swath through the zombies using both force powers and lightsabers, a shudder went through the entire universe.

Janus P.O.V.

Watching the mortal rush to save all the children was making Janus grimace. The minor demons turning into Zombies hadn't been something he was expecting to happen. He was however growing weaker by the moment. Thankfully he wasn't going to have to hold the spell together much longer. The more people that contacted others via comms was making this even harder to accomplish. For instance, the Normandy SR-2 wasn't supposed to be here. Neither were any number of other ships that had arrived in the sky. The Forward unto Dawn, The Ebon Hawk, the Rogue Shadow, the Enterprise, and the USS Vengeance! This was going to have to stop! It was taking too much power! This was not going as planned. The gods hadn't counted on the number of extras being brought here. Technology sure but they weren't supposed to have all of this! And all the minor demons becoming ZOMBIES! WHY?! This wasn't what was supposed to happen. Janus had to sigh in relief as the sun came up and he let the spell end. He watched the ensuing chaos as everyone gained their own minds back.

Yoda P.O.V.

Sitting in the Jedi Temple discussing the resent pushing in the senet for the military creation act. Yoda was letting his senses go out into the force. This is why when a huge spike in the Dark Side of the force erupted throughout the universe. The dark side pulse was so strong that it caused him to fall from his chair. When he looked up, he noticed that he wasn't the only one. No in fact the entire council was looking shaken.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Mace Windu Ground out tersely.

"Powerful in the dark side, it was." Yoda said grimly rising to his feet. "Look into this we will have to."

The Consort P.O.V.

Sha'ira was with a client when she felt the entire universe darken. She gasped in shock, the Hanar that she was speaking to glowed uncomfortably. She smiled gently to it.

"I must reschedule this meeting." She told it gently. "I will take responsibility for this and make it as soon as possible. However, I must go and see the Asari councilor. Please forgive my abruptness."

After saying this she rushed from her rooms and made her way towards the office of the Councilor. It didn't take long to arrive in the councilor's offices. She quickly left a message to the young Asari secretary, and sat down to wait. It was a very brief wait. She was ushered into the office to see Councilor Tevos. The councilor looked at the Consort.

"What is the problem, Lady Sha'ira?" The councilor asked politely.

"The universe has become a much darker place. Something very bad has happened recently, you must watch the events coming up with great scrutiny." Sha'ira told her seriously. "We must be careful of anything that is new."

"I will be on the lookout." Tevos said seriously. A little-known fact was that when an Asari matriarch made a warning like this it paid to listen, and listen very closely. It wasn't really clairvoyance but when a being with this amount of experience had a feeling, well best to listen.

Oma Desala P.O.V.

Oma watched aggrieved as Anubis took a host of extreme power after being partially descended by the other Ancients. She knew that they had done this as a way to punish her for her past actions. Actions that they didn't approve of. Not that it mattered now. She could feel it in her essence. The entire universe was changed. And the Ancients were passing into something else. Something different. In the end they had done more harm by descending Anubis now as they had than if they had left him ascended. If they, had he would have simply faded like most of them would. Now he wouldn't but he would terrorize the Galaxy.

She was so caught up in the thoughts of this that she didn't realize another Ascended being had joined her in the observing of Anubis.

"He will be a plague upon the entire Galaxy." A strong male voice stated from her left side. Oma calmly looked at him with a disturbed expression.

"Is there anything that can be done about him before he destroys the galaxy?" She asked stoically.

"No, my connection to the force isn't strong enough to do anything. And yourself, you are to disrupted by this change in the Universe to do anything for now." The man said regretfully. "But perhaps it's for the best. With the Sith having returned recently, and pushing the galaxy towards full scale galaxy wide war, perhaps it would be for the best of the galaxy."

"Who are you?" Oma asked slightly perplexed by his answer.

The man smiled. "I am Qui-Gon Jinn. Formerly Jedi Master, now I'm but a force ghost. Like you are now. Come we have much to discuss."
