It took Revan three days to wake up. I spent the time working the bounty jobs, that were found around Taris. Helping the beleaguered waitress probably confused the force on my alignment. I mean seriously I saved the girl, but I did it by beating seven shades of shit out of the gangster. And the runaway gangster I just turned in. I've met people like them, I also know morons who've tried to run from mobster. The lucky ones are still breathing in police custody. But that didn't matter so much in the end. I also had been working my way through the Taris fighter. Gerron two fingers would probably never recover from the humiliation of being knocked out with a thrown rock. And Ice probably would hate my guts till her dying day for fighting her with my sword and beating her like she was a novice. Given that she was renown with her blaster skills, Skills that I didn't let her use by the way. And today I was going to fight the fourth fighter. A guy named Marl. Now this guy used a Vibrosword in the game, and I plan on crushing him bare handed.
I waited till Revan was ready to go and then led the way out of the room. We were wandering down the hallway when we were accosted by the Sith patrol looking for Revan. I watched as they killed the alien before shaking my head at the stupidity. Then sighed as Revan and Carth jumped them like idiots. I had to sigh about that. These two were morons. When all the fighting with the Sith was done, I looked at Revan.
"I am trying to think of what to say." I said with a grimace. "And I'm coming up with a blank."
"What is wrong?" Carth asked fiercely.
"We are on a Sith controlled planet." I told him calmly before growling angrily. "And you two just sent up one hell of a red flag, TO THE WHOLE INVASION FLEET!"
The two men looked at each other sheepishly. "Now I understand the idea of 'see an enemy, kill the enemy.'" I told them. "But we are facing an armada. We cannot afford to have the Sih decide to GLASS this whole section of Taris! So, PLEASE gentlemen, a little discretion when dealing with Sith forces. Now I have a match at the Arena, to try and collect some money. Here is eight hundred credits. Carth has my com channel if you need me. Try not to get into fights with the Sith forces. The more of them that die in a single area the more focus they will give that area."
I shook my head at the two of them and then I left. I made my way to the arena. It was a quick trip and easily done. What I wasn't expecting was to find Calo Nord in the bar. I had to admit he was a badass little man. But he was still a little man with a complex. So of course, I had to fuck with him. I waited till he was walking through the crowd. Then I grabbed a burly man's wrist with the force and gave a sharp tug. Calo wasn't expecting a backhand from a random bystander, so he had his bell rung. And I walked over and crushed his throat with a full powered force choke. I was also holding him firmly in place with the force. No need to deal with this little bastard later. I was using the force like I was born to it. And in a way I suppose I was. With all of Galen Marek's memories it was very easy to forget that before waking in that vat I couldn't do any of this. But here I was using the force like the Sith trained badass himself.
I watched dispassionately as the light left Calo's eyes before I began to remove his weapons. Which consisted of two custom blaster pistols and half a dozen grenades. I also grabbed his goggles. Then I left the body there for whoever wanted to strip him of his other possessions. I made my way to the Hutt and smiled at his upraised eyebrows.
"You know of course." The Hutt spoke grandly. "That the Sith are offering a bounty for Jedi."
I smirked at the Hutt, and held out my closed fist. I slowly opened my fist letting force lightning dance between my fingers. "And, what makes you believe I am a jedi?" I asked with a dark smirk. "I'm off duty so I am not going to draw much attention to my powers. But only a fool claims his superiority over an opponent he can't hope to beat. The fool was bragging about being able to kill anyone whether they were a Sith or a Jedi. I didn't like him thinking he could kill a Sith. By all means kill the Jedi. But don't lump me in with those monastic fools."
The Hutt bellowed in laughter. "So, a Sith wrecks the betting on my arena?"
"Why should I wreck it?" I asked with a greedy grin. "You know as well as I do that until they know who and what I am, they will keep betting against me. I swear this to you great Hutt. I will only fight in today's match and one more. I aim to kill Bendak Starkiller."
The Hutt bellowed with laughter drawing the attention of the rest of the lounge. "I look forward to seeing you take on Starkiller." mostly because none there were dumb enough to eavesdrop on the Hutt's obviously private conversation.
"Well before he'll give me the time of day, I need to make a good showing against Marl. When I beat him, I'm going to publicly challenge Bandak." I told the Hutt softly. "With the betting on a true life or death fight you'll make a very pretty credit."
Once again, the Hutt bellowed in laughter. He seemed to be enjoying the back and forth. Even as a low-ranking Hutt he probably didn't have many people who would banter openly with him. "Speaking of Marl, is my match with him set up?"
"It is, but it is the main event tonight and won't start for a few hours." The Hutt explained to me negligently. This caused me to frown in thought but nod as well. I walked away thoughtfully and decided that I wanted to do something odd. Since I planned on raw dogging the entirety of the force using community in the Clone Wars Era, I needed help. And I didn't want to deal with jedi who would constantly tell me my ideas where wrong or Sith self-righteousness. I would need acolytes, but I wasn't willing to choose random people who were force sensitives. I needed people who could use the force. People who had tasted the darkside but not been consumed by it. People like, Asajj Ventress, Aalaya Secura, and a few others I wasn't thinking clearly enough to remember. But I could think of one that I might be able to get to join me easily enough. Marris Brood. A skilled lightsaber duelist trained as a jedi. Fell to the darkside, but renounced the darkside when Galen beat her. Skilled in the force. Yeah I could definitely use her help. I looked around till I found a restroom and then whispered.
"PROXY, can you grab me and pull me through?" Ask an ye shall receive. I metal had reached out of nowhere and pulled me out of the time stream. I looked at the PROXY droids and pointed to one. "I need you to stay here at this spot so I can get back." then I pointed to another and spoke. "And you follow me so I can get back into the time stream."
With the PROXY droid following me I began searching. For a few hours I searched till I came to the point in time when Galen was curb stomping the hell out of her. When she ran off, I grabbed her arm and pulled her into the time stream. Initially she freaked out but once she realised that I wasn't going to hurt her she calmed down.
"Decide to kill me after all?" She asked angrily. I smirked at her before pointing at the portal behind her which Galen was making his way to Bail Organo. "I'm not him." I told her still smirking. "I could show you what happened if you want." She looked at me skeptically but followed along lightsabers in hand. I walked to the various doors in time with Galen building the alliance, then showed her the battle on the death star. Galen's death had her looking oddly at me. Then I showed her Vader's little side project of 'Starkiller' clones. She watched in shock at Starkiller's journey to get to Juno. She was really surprised when I popped out of the tube and immediately attacked Vader. We watched the scene play out, and I had to admit it was much better watching it than living it. Then I pulled her to the side and told her my idea. She was admittedly not impressed at first but I asked her to allow me to prove it, and she agreed. I left the 'Force Unlease2' portal and made my way back to the 'Kotor' portal. We exited right after I had left in the time line which meant I still had a few hours until my match so I commed Carth and Revan. We agreed to meet up at the apartment and go from there.
I took Marris to the apartment. Needless to say, Carth was less than thrilled. Dude has some serious abandonment issues and distrust for everyone. Revan eventually talked him into letting her join us. Like there was going to be any doubt about that. I decided to have her meditate with me to show her as much as I could about what I wanted to accomplish. I showed her the Oath of the grey Jedi and I showed her the corruption of the senate. I showed her everything that had happened after the empire took over(that I could remember). And I went into details of my plan. It took a few hours but she decided that I was right.
"I still feel anger about you killing my master." She told me wearily, "But if this plan works it will never have happened, will it?"
"Not in our timeline." I told her with a smirk. "If all goes well, we will be able to save the Jedi and maybe the Galaxy at large from Sideous." When it was closing in on time to go to my match, I asked Revan and Carth if they would like to come and watch my match in the arena. They agreed and we made our way to the Hutts bar/arena. The trio made their way to an empty viewer and I made my way to the Hutt. He noticed me right away and merely waved me towards the arena opening. I complied eagerly. While in my last life I hadn't like to actually fight. I knew how, but I didn't actually enjoy it. But see with the darkside of the force whispering in my ear I did enjoy it now. So yeah, I totally know how Goku feels now, about wanting a good fight. Still don't agree with sparing my enemies though. So here I am in the arena with Marl. And apparently, he's not happy with my defeat of Ice. So, he was looking to beat the crap out of me. Too bad for him. I drew my Prototype vibroblade and held it against my arm in reverse grip. I held the weapon in the same way Altair used his long knife. The sad thing for Marl was that he decided to throw all the skill he had right out the window and charge me like a barbarian. So, I pulled an assassin on his dumbass. I swatted the blade with my own causing it to clash down on my left, while spinning to my right and driving a reverse elbow into his temple. Marl crumple like a aluminum can. The sad thing is that apparently the force works to supplement any knowledge I have. For instance, Galen was never trained in the fighting style used by Altair Ibin La'ahad. And the reverse elbow was a Muay Thai move I learned as a teenager. The fact is, that should NOT have worked. But it did. I looked at Marl in disgust before sheathing my sword and leaving the arena. I made my way to the announcer's box. I motioned him to turn on the link.
"This is getting on my kriffing nerves. If this is the best then I'm just going to quit. I heard the champion of this arena was a killer in the death match. So this is my declaration. Unless it's against Bendak Starkiller, I'm not fighting another person in this arena."
I nodded to the announcer and walked out while he was giving a performance that Jerry 'The King' Lawler. He was making sure everyone on Taris heard my challenge. I made my way to the group and found Revan slaying an opponent in Sabaac. This brought a smirk to my face. This man was one hell of a guy.
