Phantom had his chin in the pit of his thumb and forefinger. His tall and intimidating figure was standing in front of the monitor with Batman, Superman and Flash by his side. Although all three of them were on the taller side of men, they were almost small next to Phantom. His six' five'' figure making them look like they were shorter than the average man.

But yet, Phantom was known for being the kindest and most patient member of the league.

Luthor had gotten together his tribe of goons again, and together, they were trying to figure out the best way to capture all of them in a way where Luthor wouldn't be able to use his lawyers to weasel out of prison. Again.

"What if we just grabbed the evidence that we need and like, I dunno, just give it to the authorities?"

Superman huffed and shook his head in slight exasperation," I already told you flash, the last time I did that, his lawyers were able to use that as a loophole for them to declare his arrest unlawful and get him out of prison. And I don't know about you, but I want him to stay in prison for at least two months this time."

Phantom stroked his smooth chin for a few seconds before starting, "What if we were gonna-" They all looked Phantom, who interrupted his sentence with a gasp.

Flash rose an eyebrow when he saw the blue whisp come out of Phantoms mouth, only for the ghost to sigh heavily and rub the bridge of his brow.

"Uh, Phantom?" Behind them, Batman and Superman were exchanging glances. Batman raising an eyebrow that Superman returned with a shrug of his shoulders.

Its not like he knew what Phantom was talking about either.

He didn't even miss a beat before he said," Sorry. She tends to not listen to me."

They all frowned.

She?

Before any of them could question what he meant by she, there was a flash of green light and then the sound of clanking metal.

Phantom watched with tired eyes as Dani, who was in her royal battle uniform, entered the watchtower.

They all slowly looked up at her. She was huge, she was probably a few inches shorter than Phantom, who was already of a giant of a being. And her appearance was terrifying. She had the same glowing aura of their teammate and was almost identical in appearance.

But what they weren't expecting, was an armored woman, who was adorned with sashes and symbols, to enter the room.

Her armor was on her upper body, leaving her legs with nothing but bulky pants that somehow looked appropriate on her. Her shoulder had a black cape adorned with green embellishments that hung off the back of it. It was pinned to her clothes in an odd style that almost completely hid her left arm, leaving his right arm exposed. Her other shoulder had symbols that one could only relate to a military status. And she looked like she was a higher up. On her opposite hip, they could see the empty sheath hanging on there. It was only in certain movements where they could see that her left arm was completely covered tattoos and buckles. All those buckles being the straps for concealed knives and weapons.

Flash widened his eyes at the sight of the weapons, and when he nervously glanced at the others, he realized that he was the only one who saw all the hidden weapons.

Well, that was terrifying.

"Hey Danny!" Dani chirped out happily, casually swinging her sword around in a circle. Her blatant use of the weapon made the three heroes a little bit nervous," Heard you needed some help with that Luthor freak."

Phantom sighed heavily," Dani," He said with a slightly exasperated tone," I thought the battle would take longer." Phantom pointedly ignored the looks the others were giving him as he faced his clone.

"Nah," Ignoring their stares, Dani jumped into the air and sat like she was leaning back in a car, her knee almost daintily folded over her other knee. She would have looked elegant if she wasn't swinging her sword around," It was easy to defeat them, Pariah didn't do a good job of teaching them how to self-regulate. But don't worry," She gave Phantom a fanged smile," They're already having a one on one with Frighty."

Phantom sighed heavily again. With a tired motion to the female, he introduced her to his still awaiting teammates," Guys, this is Dani. Dani," He motioned towards the males that were staring at her," This is Batman, Superman and Flash. Be. Nice."

The female phantom snorted, and her entire demeanor seemed to change as she stood back up and planted her feet onto the floor. She sheathed her sword and gave them all a formal bow, her right arm across her chest to her opposing shoulder as she did so.

Phantom gave her a nod of approval, happy to see that all the lessons that Frostbite had shoved down their throats were paying off.

"Danielle Phantom. King Phantom's Captain of the Royal Guard and Royal Army," She straightened back up and all playfulness was gone as she held her hands behind her back and said," Should anything happen to King Phantom. I shall take his place or shall lead the Royal Army to avenge our king. It depends on the situation which caused his demise"

A chill went down all their spines as she gave them a sickly sweet, feigned smile as she said," Despite his stupid habit of sacrificing himself," She grinned at the frown Phantom gave her," I suggest you keep King Phantom safe." The room seemed to get dark. And colder. Her glowing green eyes were boring down into their very souls.

The chills didn't stop, and now, they could feel their sixth instinct telling them to get away as fast as possible and to never look back. Collectively.

It felt like the face of death herself was staring them down.

All they could see was a fanged smile and glowing green eyes staring at them. The voice made them want to run away. Everything about her made them want to run away," Or you shall face the wrath of myself and the Ancients themselves…"

"Dani!" Everything seemed to go back to normal as Phantom knocked his hand against her armored chest with a scolding tone in his voice," I told you to be nice!"

And just like that, everything snapped back into clarity. The chills that went down their spines were gone, and they felt like they could breathe again. Flash even slightly bent over with his hand on his chest just to make sure that he was, in fact, breathing normally again.

Surprisingly, the captain of the Royal Guard and Army pouted. One thought one would be a lot more nervous if their king was going to scold them in that tone.

"Fineeee," She sounded so much like a teenager in that moment," Can't a girl have some fun around here?"

"Not when you're trying to scare the shit out of the league members. Now," Phantom crossed his hands across his chest," Think you and your men can handle Luthor and his goons?" Superman's head snapped to Phantom, and just as he was about to point out that they did not agree to that in the slightest, Dani continued with the conversation.

The Captain snorted disrespectfully," I'm offended you just asked that Danny. When do you want them taken care of?"

Phantom bobbed his head to the side thoughtfully before saying," Do whatever you want. Just don't drive them to insanity. Or kill them."

Dani pouted again," Oh come on! How am I supposed to quench my unsatiable thirst for human suffering and misery?! To quench the yearning, I have for spilled blood! To quench the yearning, I have to inflict suffering to every being I come across!"

Wow they didn't like the sound of that.

Phantom squinted at her before saying," You have been spending way too much time with Fright Knight."

"…Maybe."

"Dani."

"…What if we use Fright Knights sword to take away their souls to put them into comas and give their souls back at the right time so they can spend the next few years trying to recover physically and mentally."

Now the three grown men were staring blatantly at her, surprised that she had even thought to make such a suggestion that truly sounded like it was a few steps away from being barbaric.

Phantom pondered over the suggestion for just a few seconds before shrugging his shoulders and agreeing. Much to the surprise of his teammates, "Okay. Sounds good to me. Destroy their shit while they're gone?"

Dani agreed almost solemnly," Destroy their shit while they're gone."

They all just stared as the giant teenage girl squealed and jumped in excitement when Phantom gave her what sounded like approval in the native tongue of the dead.

Phantom just chuckled and let her fly around him excitedly. And just as he was about to wave his hand to create a portal, they were all so familiar with, he stopped her," Dani, make sure they don't see you. They could mistake you for me and will probably try to blame me or something."

"Got it! Thank you, Danny!" And after giving her original a friendly punch to the arm, she disappeared into portal.

It was silent for a few seconds. The three normal beings were exchanging glances, Superman raising an eyebrow at he looked at Batman and Flash.

"So uhhhh," Phantom awkwardly looked towards the doorway and pointed at it over his shoulder with his thumb," Imma go and grab something to eat. Dani will take care of Luthor, and his goons so don't worry about them."

Without waiting for a prompt from Batman, or any of the older league members for that fact, he left the room, ready for a snack.

The three adults stood in silence for one second, and then two.

They were standing in silence for ten seconds before one of them said something," Is…is no one going to question what just happened?"

Batman was quick to answer.

"No," His answer was firm and unforgiving," You two can do what you want. I will not be questioning Phantom unless he blatantly kills someone. Nor will I attempt to usurp his power as king and do the same to his subjects." Batman gave them a glance over his shoulder.

"I suggest you do the same."

Superman and Flash just watched as Batman walked out of the room. The two of them look uncomfortable at the thought of letting someone take away a human being's soul, but they were on Batman's side.

There was no way in hell they were going to try and go against Phantom.

Dude was already scary as shit, and that was when he was being polite and all goody-goody gumdrops.

There was no way in hell they were going to question him.
