Funny Ibara x Percy Crackfic

It was a Sunday morning in the church, people were beginning to sing their prayers for the one and only God. The birds outside were chirping, the sun was shining brightly and Ibara was standing next to her family. Her long flowing plant thorn-based hair shifted side to side while she sang as loud as she could, hoping to reach the man above her.

As the song slowly came to an end, the pastor turned around and looked across the crowd, his bright eyes filled with happiness as he looked unto the crowd. "I would like to end today by saying one more prayer to God. If you will all join me in offering prayers to our one true God, I will be most thankful."

Clearing his throat, he began, "Dear Lord, I come to you today to wish these families, these individuals-" The building shook for a moment and the pastor paused in his speech.

"I hadn't realized that our words would be reaching God so quickly!" The man let out a light-hearted chuckle, his eyes glancing Hto a statue in the room."

"That's because it's not, old man!" A door flung open and in walked a beefy-looking man.

Bright scarlet eyes were filled with anger and he stared down at the pastor. His hand stretched out before being balled into a fist. A bright grin reached his features and the man had a look of madness.

"M-May I help you with something today sir? We're in the middle of a service and-" The pastor fell on his face. Tripping over himself as he tried to reason with the man.

"This is who you have to protect yourself?" He raised an eyebrow at the scene before him. "You would think that someone who prayed to god would have a little more means of protecting himself.

"S-Sir! You mustn't! There are children here! Innocent families! I beg of you, please don't do anything reckless!" The pastor started arguing with the man, trying to protect the several people within the room with words.

"God has forsaken us, I'm just here to make sure his religion can no longer be spread any longer. You see, I was once like you, once a believer in the so-called 'God', then I realized that he's pointless. He doesn't do anything for you, he just sits on his puny throne- if he exists. Watching with boredom as you all pray to him, not bothering to help you out. A waste of time if you ask me."

The man conjured fire in his hand, playing dutifully with it. Swirling a little ball in his fingers for a moment and then flicking it at a glass art piece, shattering it into several pieces and watching it blow up.

"Oops, did I do that?"

Ibara, the girl with thorny hair, went to move. Her blood began to boil at the thought of someone pillaging the sacred place where she worshiped her God. He was the one true father and for him to be desecrated in front of her eyes was beginning to anger her.

A hand shot out and her eyes trailed over to her mother, who silently was shaking her head. An unspoken argument happened between the two of them before she finally whipped her hand off of her and stood up.

The man's beady, scarlet eyes whipped over to her. An unfathomed grin of destruction graced his features and his fingers cracked up in anticipation.

"Oh, so we do have a little bit of a fighter here do we now? What is your name, puny girl?"

"Shiozaki Ibara, may I have the name of the man who is destroying a place of God?" She asked, doing a courtesy when she introduced herself.

"Nah, won't need to know it after I kill you all. It's none of your damn business that's for sure." He let out a hearty chuckle and stared directly into her eyes, trying to assert his dominance.

A man who was seated close to the villain shot up after that comment. The word kill registering in his brain and tried to make a run for it. The villain rolled his eyes at the pitiful attempt to try and escape before flicking a small red flame at the man. Ibara watched in horror as the man disintegrated in mere seconds, the flames overtaking his body just from his shirt being caught by the flame.

"Don't you see? It's pitiful to try and fight what's about to come, I have a lot more pain and destruction coming for those who don't listen. Perhaps you should take that into account, little child."

"I doubt God will be pleased with me if I were to watch innocents suffer." Ibara rebutted, shifting her foot to the side and glaring at the man, she was ready to get into a fight, no matter the consequences.

"A shame, though it does make it a lot more interesting. Who knows? Perhaps I can take you alive and have some fun with you after this. I always love people with a little bit of spite."

Her eyes stared with disdain at the man, not bothering to respond to him. A hand tugged on the waist of her sundress and Ibara looked down to see her mother warning her with her eyes. Telling her to stop for the final time. Telling was putting it lightly, her mother was trying to order her to stop and not to do it anymore. To sit down and wait for the heroes to appear. Ibara would not.

"I can see that you are nothing more than a pig, waiting to be butchered like all other pigs in this life." Ibara's hair began to flow longer and longer, preparing itself for the battle to come. "I should warn you pig, I refuse to go down without a fight."

"The small child believes that she can protect herself? Well, that's rich, all of these adults within the room, each and everyone has their own quirk that would have some way of protecting themselves and it's the child that has the urge to protect herself. Pathetic." His barrage of mockery refused to stop on the adults that were hiding in the corners of the room.

Ibara ignored him. She walked into the aisle and put her hands together. "I have faith in God and I know that he shall protect me."

"Mhmm, sure." The man looked amused and ran towards her.

He was fast, much faster than Ibara had anticipated, she had little time to throw her hands up and block the heavy fist that punched her. Her eyes flew open in shock as she crashed into the statue of God. The statue had shattered into pieces and a giant piece of stone had lodged itself right into her side.

"So little girl." Her eyes flew up, horror on her features. A pain gasp escaped her lips and she was in fear for what was about to happen. No one would be coming to her aid. Several of the families began to flee but the man ignored them all. She had made him angry, and now she was the full focus of his anger. "Where's your God now?"

Ibara did the one thing that she could do, she prayed.

"Oh Lord!" Her voice screamed out, aching for him, aching for his help in this matter. Her fear was shown now. No one would be saving her. She could see her family staring in horror down the aisle. Her mother and father were unable to move from their seats. Her eyes found their way back to the savage beast who was walking closer and closer to her.

"Please!" She called out, her voice began to sob and crack. "Save me!"

Let it be known that God's miracles are great.

Just sometimes? Well, let's say that they can be a little unexpected.

The building shook just like it had before and her breath hitched. The villain who had been making her way towards her paused in his actions and looked up. For a moment the hope in Ibara began to build. Perhaps God had heard her voice? Perhaps he was sending someone, a sign, anything to come save her.

Her ears ignored the screams of the people in the church that were running away in fear of it collapsing. The only ones left in the room were her parents, the beast, and herself.

"H-Hey!" Her eyes found her father who had gotten up from his seat. Ibara wanted to bless his heart but scream at him to run, he wasn't a fighter. He was just a middle-aged salaryman that loved God as dearly as she did. "Y-You! Get away from my daughter you pig!"

The man looked back at her like this was some sort of inside joke and sighed. Grabbing a small piece of wood, he flicked it directly at her father and knocked him unconscious. "Well, that was anticlimactic. Now, where were we?"

His narrow eyes made his way to her and he grew close. She felt the air leave her lungs when he lifted her up by the throat. Bringing her close to his face, she could smell the fish that he had just eaten, she could see the gross food that had been stuck in his teeth. He truly was little more than a savage beast.

The shattering of glass was heard and only five feet from them a vacuum had crashed down from the ceiling. Ibara blinked once more, had her eyes beseeched her? A vacuum? She blinked a few more times, hoping to understand what she was seeing. The prayer she sent to God was received by him and in return, he gave her a… vacuum. He gave her a vacuum.

She screeched in pain as the beast threw her to the ground roughly. He let out a jovial laugh and walked over to it. "This? This is what he sends you? A vacuum. Do you see what I'm seeing here?" He roared with laughter and tears began to leak out of his eyes. He had to hold himself against the piano in order to support himself. "Well, this is what your God gave you I guess."

His laugher calmed down and he began to fan his face with his hand. With his other hand, he went and grabbed the vacuum. "Well, if God wants you to die from a vacuum. So be it! What a way for a child to go out by! It's glorious!"

"You must be oh so proud for defeating a child with a vacuum beast." She couldn't stop the dry comment that escaped her lips. It was unlike her to talk in such an unladylike fashion but quite frankly if God decided to she was supposed to die from a vacuum. Well, her unladylike fashion was the least of her worries. "Well beast, are you done taking your sweet time? Or?" Her hair grew high in the back. Her vine-like hair grew pointed and shot at him.

It was a little embarrassing for her to say that she hadn't expected him to grab it all at once and yank. Her sharp hair that had saved her so many times in the past was the catalyst of her downfall as he tossed her around like a potato sack. Flinging her into a pillar and onto the cold concrete after. Her bones were shattered at this rate and she could no longer feel her left arm.

Tears went down her face. She hadn't expected the day to go like this, that was for sure. She had expected to get ready with her parents, go to church, have a wonderful brunch with them, and spend the rest of the day training.

Now she would be living out her last moments on the floor in a shattered church building.

If I ever survive this, I will never doubt my faith in you, God!

Her head slowly turned to the side. Her jaw was broken and it was clicking in a way just to turn over to the side. The beast was there, a vacuum in one hand and her hair in the other. His face was that of a savage.

Her head went back to face towards the broken glass that lay above her. Her eyes went straight up to the sun-filled sky. The birds seemed to be chirping and the gentle trees seemed to blowback and forth from the soft breeze. On the outside everything was peaceful.

"OI!" A shout screamed from above her. She blinked up above, had the heavens said that? Perhaps it was someone outside but she swore she could hear it come from above.

She could see a small speckle in the sky from above. Her eyes squinted and she could see something falling from the sky. The little speckle that was above her was growing bigger and bigger. Her eyes widened and she tried to move out of the way but her body refused to listen to her. She opened her mouth to make a sound but nothing came out. Her arms began to shift side to side to make her move but she couldn't get a hold on anything.

"WHERE'S MY VACUUM!" The voice roared and Ibara could see a person was falling from the sky. She couldn't make anything out about him until he crashed directly into the ground. Ibara hadn't even registered him until he was standing above her. Both of his feet were planted on the side of her head. His black hair stood straight up in an unmanageable mess and dark sea green eyes bore into hers. "Have you seen my vacuum young lady? I'm afraid big man thinks he's all that, thinking it's okay to drop my vacuum. I mean who does that, talk about rude!"

The man threw his hands up in astonishment. "Seriously! I just spent so much money on that! I told them to stop bothering me! All of them! But no! They decide to take my vacuum and throw it off! Who does that! Geez!" He flailed his arms in annoyance. "When I see him let me tell ya! He ain't ready for Jackson style!"

His face got closer to hers and he looked at her wounds. "Geez, what happened to you! Have a play date with the devil or somethin? You need a check up? I mean I'm no Apollo but eh, I got some water round here." He flew his hand up and gathered a ball of water and threw it at her face.

The words were indescribable. She felt rejuvenated, she felt whole. She could move all her limbs once more and she felt like she could fight an army of demons. She was alive.

"Well that's-" He paused in his sentence. "WHAT THE FUCK YOU DOIN WITH THAT!" He roared out.

Ibara looked at where the man was looking. She had temporarily forgotten about the beast. He stood in the corner, an awestruck and dumbfounded look on his face. "An angel." He murmured.

Ibara heard it clearly. It was a revelation to her. For once, she found herself agreeing with the beast. He was unorthodox but the man had fallen from heaven. He also healed all her wounds with little more than water.

She felt blessed. God had heard her prayers and sent her an angel. An actual angel was in her presence. "An angel." She murmured out loud.

"Huh?" Her savior asked her and looked between the two of them. "Angel?"

Ibara couldn't stop herself, she grabbed his hand and pulled it close to her. Her face rested against the back of his hand. He was warm, his callous hands and pale skin gave her comfort. "It's just like the books." She murmured. She believed. God had sent her an angel to protect her.

"I-I repent to God! Mr. Angel! I am so sorry for all the damage I have caused! I swear I will do everything in God's name and will be a true believer!" The beast cried out in anguish. Dropping to his knees and holding the vacuum up.

Her mother who was still sitting, gasped. "I can't believe it! An Angel! An Angel has descended from the heavens! God has blessed us on this very day!"

Ibara looked up at the Angel that had saved them and with the biggest smile she could muster, she spoke, "Thank you, Mr. Angel. I will forever be a true believer. You have saved my life on this very day."

Her Angel blinked at her and nodded gently, taking his hand back and placing it on her head. "Um, don't worry about it."
