Chapter 742.
"One year, from Lucas."

(December 7. Henvers House.)

The school day is done, and we now see Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato, and the duo are on their way to the house and the duo are both excited. "This is it, a year since Lucas was brought into this town and was found by us, well Trubbish found him first, right?" said Jordan.

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, that is true, but Trubbish did also get our attention and guided us to encounter Lucas and so it has been one year, and I am dang proud at how far Lucas has gone, from the sweet and adorable infant we recall and have met, and now all the way here."

They then continue their walk and then Jordan asks. "So, how's Lucy holding up?"

Lincoln then explains. "She's not rattled anymore and she doesn't seem bothered after what she had to go through, she's busy spending some time with her friends and the new companion she made, Litwick. The little guy sure doesn't do sleeping, much. He also helps when we need a guide through the halls at night, he tends to wander around."

Jordan then recalls something about the Candle Pokémon. "And what about the little thing with the flame on its head said to extract souls for fuel?"

Lincoln then tells her something. "Yeah, I don't think that has been going around, it seems to be sustaining itself. Litwick doesn't seem to be claiming the souls and energy from others, and that would mean... He might evolve, someday, we're not so sure."

They continue their way to the Henvers house, and then they see them. Coming out of the house and pushing the stroller is Jillian Henvers, and in the stroller is her son, Lucas Henvers and they are accompanied by Trubbish, Luxray and Arcanine. Dustox and Beautifly are remaining inside, keeping warm and away from the cold weather outside.

Jillian sees the duo and she smiles. "Good to see you two here, also Lucas has been looking forward to seeing you two once more, aren't you my sweet little one?" Lucas giggles and laughs and he sees Lincoln and Jordan and he seems super-excited to see them.

Lincoln and Jordan are just struck by the cuteness this baby is bringing, but mostly because of what he is wearing. Lucas is dressed like a Polar Bear, and he has little mittens that match his attire, and he is hugging a polar bear plush and then Jordan picks him up. "You are so adorable!"

Lucas giggles and laughs and then Jordan shares a nose kiss with the little baby. Lincoln then looks to Jillian. "We'll keep an eye on him. We got this, we have a whole day of fun time planning, as a way to celebrate one year ever since we were guided to save him."

Jillian is touched to hear this and she nods. "I am always and forever will be grateful for what you two did. The day you found him was a miracle, all of you and even Trubbish." She then looks to Lucas. "Mommy will be back soon, my child." She then kisses his forehead and cheeks and this makes Lucas giggle and laugh.

They watch as Jillian Henvers gets into her car and she drives off, then Lincoln has the stroller ready and he sees Jordan booping the nose of Lucas, and he is liking this. "Alright then, let's get going. Time for an awesome day with the baby!"

The place where they go to is the Royal Woods Mall, and there they try out some clothing for Lucas, they see some new baby clothing but they are all Pokémon themed and this is something Lincoln and Jordan are gonna love with Lucas.

They dress up Lucas as: Pancham, Vulpix, Cubchoo, Teddyursa, Piplup, Pichu, Iggly Buff, Cleffa, Togepi, Dedenne, Emolga, Togedemaru, Azurill, Lilipup, Cottonee, Yamper, Morpeko, Buneary and Pikachu. All of them, Lucas just looks cute and so they choose, Pancham, Cubchoo and Yamper.

They even buy some normal clothes he would wear, which is usually shorts, shirts, overalls, shoes, socks, winter clothing and even some spare diapers to cover up the shopping Jillian Henvers would do, and even getting some baby food and milk.

After that, they spot something Lucas would love. A small panda car, which is inside of a play area for kids in the mall, and so they let Lucas ride the little panda car and it drivers on its own around the play area, and the two preteens watch Lucas having a fun time with his little panda ride, and this gives Lincoln an idea on what to do to Lulu whenever they have Lucas come over to visit.

After a nice trip to the mall, they would all head for Ketcham Park, and here is where they have some lunch and continue their fun time with little Lucas, and he even plays with his Pancham buddies, and they all enjoy some small snow fun with Lucas, and they make a snowman of Lucas and this makes him laugh.

They soon meet with Lily and Michelle, and they let Lucas play with her, and it seems cute to see how Lily is like a big sister towards the 1-year old baby. Even Lucas loves spending time with Lily and he sees her as a big sister figure.

We now go, to the Loud House and this is where they're special day is over with Lucas. They did contact Jillian Henvers on where they are now, and that she should come and pickup her son here after she is done with her work.

Luxray and Arcanine are both outside and are watching over the place, and even the eagles are outside and high in the sky watching over for any signs of any drones from Richmund and they haven't seen any for the past two days.

Inside, Lucas is on the floor of the living room and he is drawing with the papers and crayons and watching over him is Lincoln, Jordan and Trubbish and they see that what he is drawing are some stuff he has seen throughout the town, even the snowman he witnessed at the park.

They can tell that Lucas has quite the good memory on things he loves to see, and then Lincoln looks to Trubbish who is looking at a drawing of himself. So, Trubbish pastes it to his back, to keep it safe from anything, and this makes Lincoln chuckle. "One whole year, ever since Trubbish found him and guided us to help him."

Jordan also agrees. "Dang right. I don't know what could've happened if we had never met, Lucas. He was found by a simple trash Pokémon, and then that little guy guided us to the little buddy, and then things went onward and changed dramatically for him."

"He has new friends, and some he would see as family, he has a new life and even with his mom along for the ride ready for a new fresh start in town, and they got that troublesome jerk who was once his dad locked up for good, and he has us as his godparents, I am so proud at how far he has come. This whole thing of an experience with Lucas, it feels like we're parents already."

Lincoln smiles. "Dang right, my love." He then shares a passionate kiss with Jordan, and then they depart and see that Lucas is standing and he walks towards Lincoln and Jordan and he hands them the drawing he made, and what they see melts their hearts.

The drawing: It looks like Lincoln and Jordan, and with them is Lucas and Trubbish and all of them on a couch and a heart is above them.

This surprises them all, and they look to Lucas who is clapping. "We love you too, Lucas." They then pull Lucas in for a hug and he hugs them back, and then he giggles when he feels Lincoln and Jordan kiss his cheeks, and then Trubbish goes in for a hug as well. Lucas truly feels that he has found the folks he would call his family.

Just then the door of the house opens and they all see that Jillian Henvers has arrived. "Lucas, mommy finished her work." She goes over and sees Lincoln and Jordan standing up and they bring Lucas towards her, and she picks up her son and kisses his cheek and this makes him smile and look to the woman.

Lucas smiles and then speaks. "Ma... Ma..." Hearing those words melts their hearts, Lucas is learning and growing up. Trubbish then gathers all the drawings Lucas made and keeps them safe with him, and then he follows outside and he meets with Luxray and Arcanine.

Jillian then sees Lincoln and Jordan hand the bags of stuff they bought for Lucas and Jillian and they bring it to the car and they follow them. "Thank you for taking care of Lucas and making his day nice, he always likes being around those he can have fun with. You two are amazing godparents to my son."

Lincoln and Jordan nod. "We do what we can to make him happy and keep him safe, always Mrs. Henvers."

Jillian smiles hearing this from the duo. Then she lets then hug Lucas one more time before they leave and the baby loves being given some affection from the people he knows and loves. Both Lincoln and Jordan hug the baby. "See you soon, Lucas. Take care."

They then bring Lucas back to Jillian and she straps her son in on his seat, and then the Pokémon, Luxray and Arcanine prepare to follow the vehicle, and Trubbish is inside with Lucas. Jillian goes to the driver's seat and she starts the car, they all watch as the station wagon drives off. Lincoln and Jordan wave to the leaving vehicle and they still have the drawing that Lucas made with them.

Jillian Henvers looks to the rear view mirror and she smiles seeing the two preteen's wave to them. 'It's nice that there are other folks who care about my son. I don't know where would we be or what would've happened if they have never found my boy. Lincoln and Jordan, the future you have is something I look forward to. After taking care and being there for my son, I know you two will make dang good parents.'

A/N: A nice day, to spend with Lucas after one year has gone by since they first met him, and this is a nice time for the duo to wait and see what comes next for them with this little bundle of joy and his life ahead of him. Leave a review and tell me what you all think of this new chapter guys.
