continuation of the previous oneshot...
ps shoutout to Nathan Kirk (Guest) reviewer (sadly i just fixed the setting so idk if their review is visible now) for pointing out an error in one of the phrases- ngl i was pretty confused abt my wording at first-
PREVIOUSLY...
Mariam scowled and hissed, "Lies. Marinette was with Adrien in the halls."
"O-oh, it was b-before tha—"
"Alright what is this about my daughter going to be called a liar?" A cold voice sounded from the door.

Mariam crossed her arms across her chest, and raised an eyebrow at Lila.
"Mister Atiyah...what a surprise," Mr Damocles said nervously. Clearly the sight of so many angry parents in one room worried him.
Mr Atiyah turned to his daughter.
"Explain."
Mariam spun to the other side of the room where Lila was, and pointed at her.
"Lila Rossi here, claimed that Marinette—" she indicated to Marinette, "—cheated on a test and pushed her down the stairs, which is impossible because Marinette would never cheat and I saw Lila fake her fall."
Her mother gave Lila a disgusted look.
"Oh and Lila, where are your injuries? A fall down the stairs isn't pretty," but then Mariam laughed. "Oh silly me, your jeans are still intact and you aren't limping, woops!"
"Marinette stole my necklace though! I saw her do it! I have proof!"
Mr Damocles stood up. "Let's see then."
Lila, Marinette, Mr Damocles, Tom and Sabine, Mr and Mrs Atiyah, and Mariam all entered the locker room. The entire class was there hanging out.
Marinette looked miserable as she was told to open her locker.
And almost instantly, a fox pendant necklace fell out. Lila gasped (fake clearly) and picked it up.
"My grandmother's necklace!"
Sabine and Marinette gasped as well. The boys had entered the girls section to see what the commotion was about.
"She's making up this whole thing! It wasn't me! I didn't do anything, I swear!" Marinette protested. Her mother began crying. You know Lila's lying, don't you, Adrien?"
Adrien raised his hand. "Mr Damocles, I don't think—"
But the principal didn't let him finish. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, you are expelled from this school!"
Everyone in the room choked on mid air.
"Excuse me?!"
Mariam's father had spoken up.
"Is this how an expulsion works? No trial or anything?"
"Mr Damocles, you aren't being fair!" Adrien added. "Marinette would never steal or cheat!"
In all the commotion, no one noticed Lila open the door, and a bunch of red butterflies flew in.
Chloe stood in front of Sabrina, and Alya remained in her place calmly.
Meanwhile Mariam was trying desperately to shoo them away.
Then much to everyone's horror, Ms Bustier, Marinette, Mr Damocles, Sabine, were unable to fend off the butterflies.
"Mariam! Be calm!" Alya shouted.
"I can't! I hate butterflies!" She screamed back. She barely registered Marinette taking off her earrings and the butterfly that entering Mariam's headband.
A voice was speaking in her head, but not even a second later, all the butterflies were gone and everything was back to normal.
Pure white butterflies flew out of the locker room.
What?
Mariam had told her parents of the Lila problem in more detail, and within minutes, the board of education had been contacted.
Meanwhile Adrien was not happy with Lila's lies.
And let's just say that...
Neither was Mrs Rossi.
"Bur I didn't do anything! Mama, you have to believe me!" Lila screamed as her mother dragged her out of the school building. "That girl is lying! Adrien can tell—"
Nino laughed loudly from where the class was watching the scene.
"I highly doubt that."
"You hurt my friends, Lila, and you're expecting me to come to your defense?"
Still yelling in outrage, Lila's voice slowly faded into the distance.
Mariam giggled from her spot at the bottom of the front steps.
"Who knew that one call to the board of education would bring an end to this chaos." Marinette had to agree.
Alya cleared her throat. "So no more Lila?"
At her words, the entire crowd of students jumped and began shouting victoriously and cheering.
Ms Bustier didn't even bother trying to shush them.
ending was kind of rushed...still getting the hang of oneshots!
as a response to the review requesting one where Chat Noir / Adrien gets protective over Marinette cause of Lila, I'll try my best to give it justice !
however, it will be platonic as I aint comfortable writing romance
till the next oneshot!
