"I don't know what I'm getting myself into here," Cat Noir whispered to himself as he knocked on the Dupain-Cheng's door. It was always fun at Marinette's, no matter who was home. Sabine, Mari's mother, had thought it would be good for Tom and Cat to bond with Cat spending so much time with their daughter, and what better why to bond while watching a soccer match on TV.

"Well, hello, my boy!" Tom opened the door to let Cat in. Mari had joked last week that they should install a cat flap door. Maybe its not such a bad idea, Cat thought.

"I brought the ramen noodles you asked for. Has the game started yet?" Cat asked. His palms were sweating a little, and this was Mari's father! Why was he so nervous? Because you love her, so you want to make a good impression.

Tom turned on the TV while Cat got the noodles ready. He knew Mari had her weekly sewing class, but where was Sabine? He liked Mari's mother, who was gentle and quiet. Reminded him of his own mother.

"Sabine's out shopping so we have the place to ourselves," Tom said, as Cat carried in the steaming bowls of noodles.

Cat sat cross-legged on the couch while Tom rested in his easy chair. Cat glanced at him. He looked so happy, snuggled into his favorite chair. This is why I save Paris with M'lady, Cat thought. So that people like Tom can be happy and watch soccer games and run a successful bakery. Wait, if Sabine's out and Tom is up here who's downstairs?

"Isn't there anyone watching the shop?" Cat asked. "Intern," was all Tom said. Cat watched the game intently, his tail swishing as he tried to figure out who to cheer for. Should I just cheer when Tom cheers? Cat thought.

He slurped his noodles, a bewildered look on his face. The noodles hung down from his mouth as the crowd on the set got louder and louder. "Goal!" Tom yelled. "Yay?" Cat asked. It was like watching another cat pounce on a bird for the first time. Should you jump or was it all the trick?

"Here," Tom said, holding out a small object to Cat. Cat slurped some noodles and took it. "What is it?" he asked, examining the small item. "Party horn," Tom explained. "You blow it to it and it makes a noise. Go on, try it!"

Cat looked again at the object and up into Tom's face. He looked at a excited five year old boy, and there was no way Cat could disappoint that face.

Tweet! Cat blew the a object made a satisfying noise. It could be useful in a akuma fight. Ladybug would probably find the strange toy annoying, but she might like it if it helped. She may not even have to use her lucky charm.

Cat giggled to himself, imagining the look on his Bugaboo's face. It was nice to do something with Tom, and even though Cat didn't understand everything happening on TV, Sabine was right. It was good to have bonding time.

He was happy when Sabine and Mari walked in the front door, awhile after the game was over. He had found his favorite blue blanket. He was curled up in it when he heard Sabine's excited voice.

"Oh good, your here, Cat!" Sabine walked into the living room, shopping bag in hand. "I bought something for you!" she said. She had gotten him something? Well, that was nice. "Oh, you really didn't have to," he started to say.

"Bow ties!" Sabine pulled out a handful proudly. "Bow-ties? Honey, isn't his gold bell enough?" Tom asked. "I'd try some on, if Mari helps," he said, winking at her. What could he say? It was the model in him.

Cat sat on the floor and Mari sat directly across from him, trying to select the first color. "Maybe this green one?" she held it up for her parents inspection. "That'll look lovely with your eyes, honey," Sabine said, from her spot from the couch.

Cat purred softly, he liked it when Mari's mom called him that. He finally felt he had a family who loved and cared about him.

"Green it is," and Mari scrambled into Cat's lap to fasten on the bow tie. Her hands where cool and gentle as she fastened it.

Mari took pictures of Cat with the bow-ties and they all even took a selfie together. A loud sound erupted from outside. "Akuma?" Tom asked, his voice now serious.

"Don't worry. Ladybug and I will take care of it," Cat said. He started to head toward the door. "Cat?" Cat turned, his hand still on the doorknob. He expected it Mari's voice, but it was Sabine. "I'll have dinner ready when you get back, okay?" Cat nodded, dashing back into the house. "Family hug!" he said, his voice chocking a bit with emotions. He realized that he didn't just love Marinette, he also loved her family.

Marinette ran upstairs, so she could transform into Ladybug. Despite there being a akuma outside, she felt warm and happy. It was nice to spend time with Cat and her family.

"Tikki, spots on!" Ladybug jumped up to her balcony, then took off looking for Cat Noir. He was just here, wasn't he? Where was her Kitty?

"M'lady! Over here!" Cat waved at her, and Ladybug swung herself over. "What's the situation?" she asked. "I think he's angry that his team didn't win the soccer match," Cat said. "He's throwing balls everywhere."

"We need a plan," Ladybug said, and she took out her yo-yo about to swing down into the street. "Bugaboo, wait! I have a idea," Cat grabbed her wrist. He whispered his plan into her ear. "Brilliant! I'll take the left, you the right," she instructed. "Got it," Cat said, already in stealth mode.

Cat swung down with his baton, close to the supervillian. I know this would come in handy! Cat thought as he took out his party horn and blew loudly. "Cataclysm!" Cat shouted, and Cat destroyed the ball-maker's device.

"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma," Ladybug said, purifying the small white butterfly.

"What happened?" The man asked. "You got angry because your team didn't win," Cat explained. "I may have just watched my first soccer game, and maybe next time they'll win."

Ladybug smiled and turned to Cat. "that was a really good idea, Kitty," she said, softly. She stepped closer to Cat. Cat blushed softly. "Thanks, Bugaboo." Ladybug surprised him with a soft kiss. "I love you," she said.

They looked at each other, smiling. Then Ladybug's earrings beeped. "Whoops! Got a go! Catch you for patrol?" she asked. "Of course, M'lady. I promise to leave my party horn at home," he said, with a small bow.

Ladybug giggled. The sound warmed Cat's heart, he loved it when she laughed. He loved her. But now, it was time to get back to Marinette's where a warm supper awaited him.

"Bug out!" Ladybug said, swinging away into the sunset. Cat sighed. It had been a good day full of ramen, soccer and fun.

He hoped his M'lady was Marinette. She and her family were his home, the ones he loved.
