This is Totally AU; Beckett has moved to DC for the job, the talk on the swings was cordial, although heartbreaking. Each has decided it's best (for the other) to part ways. Then fate intervenes. Set at end of Season 5, Taking Literary License to fill in the blanks. I don't own Castle; I use the characters for amusement purposes only, except the ones I create.
