Day 6- The AKUMA Virus!
(Lady Miss Fortune's POV)
The AKUMA Virus is a magic-based virus in which dark magic corrupts the body on a genetic level, warping the body and mind, making the victim more hostile and aggressive.
The Symptoms include but are not limited to:
1. Stomach pain
2. intense fever
3. Nausea
4. A purple discharge leaking from the nose and ears
5. Vomiting
6. fits of rage
7. intense Mutations
the virus started out as an airborne virus, but soon went from air to water to cross-contamination, just one scratch or bite is all that it takes, i was infected with the waterborne version.
The virus has three stages:
Stage 1: at this level, you body is badly mutated but at least you have your sanity. plus the enhanced strengh and superpowers are a plus, with HALO, you can live a semi-normal life.
Stage 2: you tend to be more hostile than normal, but the upside is that your powers are stronger, you will need more concentrated doses of HALO to keep your condition in check.
Stage 3: welp, at this stage, there is no going back, you mutate into a feral monster and lose what little humanity you have left, a fate worse than death!
HALO is a medicine design to keep the virus in check, as Dark Magic was used to create the virus, HALO was made with White Magic.
At the time. no cure has been found, and i doubt it will ever be found, the people outside Paris pretty much left us for dead.
That's why we're all working to destroy the barrier, to remind the rest of the world that we exist.
...and we're pissed off!

MC: and that explains the AKUMA virus, and i thought the Black Plauge was scary!
