Chapter 17- Shattered Trust
Gabriel Agreste, AKA HawkMoth, stood before his son, Adrien was stunned, all this time his father was the villain he had been fighting for almost 2 years.
HawkMoth explained why he did all this in the best way that he could, explaining that Nathalie was Mayura, his alliance with Lila Rossi, AKA Jaguar Queen, everything.
Adrien took it well...
"I think i'm gonna be sick..." Adrien whispered.
"Adrien, try to understand, we did not want you to find out like this." Nathalie said.
"You didn't want me to find out at all!" Adrien Snapped.
"It was nessacary to keep you in the dark, once i revived you mother, i would renouce my and Nathalie's Miraculous, this was for you sake as well as mine." Gabriel explained.
"MY SAKE! when in hell did i ever ask you to bring mom back, yes i miss her, i miss her every day, but this isn't the way, if you bring mom back, you would be taking away the peace and rest she deserves, you would be cheating death itself, do you have any idea how insane that sounds?" Adrien roared, "And what about the people you've hurt? do you have any idea what Akumas do to people, you take control of them when they're at their most vulnarable, Sabrina still has nighmares when she was Vanisher and Miraculer, and they only got worse when she was Cerbrina!"
HawkMoth was stunned, he had no idea his Akumas did that kind of damage.
"But what pisses me off more is what's happening to you, if what you told me is true, then you need to stop and turn youself in before this kills you dad!" Adrien said, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Adrien...we had no choice, both i and you father missed Emilie so much." Explained Nathalie.
"No choice huh? fine, i'll give you one then, either give this up, or i leave, your choice!" Adrien snarled.
Both adults gasped, would Adrien really disown them, he looked serious.
"I'm sorry Adrien, but i've come too far to give up now, and since you know who i am, i can't allow you to leave..." HawkMoth spoke.
Adrien chuckled, "Well, since i don't want any more secrets between us...Plagg, Claws Out!"
Within moments, Adrien became Cat Noir and faced his father!
"All this time, my greatest foe was my own son..." HwakMoth said.
With a forced smirk, Cat Noir sprinted towards the exit and jumped the gate, he was free, finaly free, with a small tear, he leapt into the night.
"Sir?" Nathalie said.
"Is this Karma's way of punishing me for my misdeeds, by turning my son against me?" HawkMoth thought...
