Anakin spoke up, he was confused, angry and most importantly worried about his droid, friend and copilot "Where is R2D2!" Talzin smiled at the young Jedi Knight. She had many devious plans for the young Jedi. First off she would begin to cloud his mind, it was a powerful technique used whenever powerful Nightbrothers in the force got out of line.
Anakin's mind was all of a sudden in a thick fog. Where was he, why was he here, how did this happen as more and more thoughts fled from his mind. After all, who was he? Anakin shook his head trying to resist the Dathomiri magick's but the effects were quite strong.
Anakin's mind was being slowly disconnected from his body, or so he felt. It was in this mental incursion that Talzin started to scour the chosen one's mind, to review his origins, history, motivation. He sensed familial bonds with Obi Wan, Ahsoka, and R2D2 as well as a slew of other connections but there were two golden threads in the mind of Skywalker. Talzin chooses to dive deeper into Anakin's dream state and insect more of his memories.
She finally arrived at the first golden thread Shmi Skywalker his mother a woman who had met such an ill gotten fate, it struck a chord in Talzin's ever so bleak and black heart she still knew what it was like to be a mother separated from her child, and with that understanding and knowing the pain it caused she had found her first gem, his mother and securing her "resurrection" would give Talzin all the influence she needed to corrupt Anakin out of the Galactic battle of Dark and Light." So with that she found a Dathomiri Witch whose spirit could be sculpted to look like Shmi and with the right chants be bound to Anakin's memories of his mother. After several hours Anakin awoke and his body was still bound from the Force but he opened his eyes and what he saw was impossible… it couldn't be real, but it was Shmi Skywalker standing in the flesh slightly older then when he last saw her before the Clone Wars but his mother all the same…
Anakin was at a loss for words as she stood in a Green mist and said "Anakin, my son, it is so good to see you again, Mother Talzin has been telling me of your exploits around the galaxy since I passed, I'm so proud of you Ani." She fell to her knees clearly still quite weak. "The process is not finished yet, Ani, but soon Mother Talzin will have brought me back. She has control over life and death, Ani, she can help you so much."
