"Who is this guy, Safari Sam?" Klaus said, rummaging through Alaric's clothes.

Katherine and Drake stood around the bar in Alaric's apartment pouring themselves a round of bourbon. They've spent the past few days catching Klaus up to speed on the situation.

"Local vampire hunter." Katherine replied before taking a sip from her glass.

"That explains the wardrobe." He muttered, "So quick reminder, the dagger is in the Salvatores possession, yes?"

"It was used to kill Elijah who's currently in their basement." Katherine answered as Drake tossed back his drink.

"Okay, that dagger needs to stay exactly where it is. The last thing we need to do is resurrect Elijah, the guy's such a buzz kill." Klaus mumbled.

"And you're on the rocks with your girlfriend Jenna for keeping dearly departed Isobel a secret." Drake added as he poured himself some more bourbon, "Plus she's Elena's aunt."

Klaus approached the door as he pulled a dark flannel on, "And the Bennet witch thinks she has the power of her ancestors but you have them, right Dragomir?"

"Correct." The hybrid nodded, "Matt and Tyler caught you up to speed on what you're going to teach today right?"

"The sixties." Klaus rolled his eyes, "Not my decade. The twenties were so much better. The jazz, the fashion." He mused to himself.

"Don't forget we're moving into Isobel's place." Drake reminded, "She's not using it and they won't think to look there twice and besides it's a total upgrade from this dead end."

"Couldn't agree more." Klaus replied, "Well wish me luck."

"No. Shan't" Drake replied.

"Have a nice day at school, sweety." Katherine teased as he shut the door. She then mumbled, "God I hate that guy."

"Me too. But we don't have to like him to work with him." Drake states before he finishes his drink, "You gave Tyler and Matt the vervain? I don't trust Klaus and I don't doubt that he'll try to compel them."

"Done and done but we are running low." Katherine warned, "We are in the apartment of a vampire hunter so we might as well get a look around."

Her brother nodded, "You get the cabinets, I'll get the drawers."

The twins quickly went to work. They left the apartment in disarray as they combed through the cabinets and drawers. They went on like this for an hour before Drake came upon something.

Drake held up a crossbow and looked at his sister, "Kat, come look at this."

Katherine groaned as her head popped out of a cabinet, "What?" She asked before she saw the crossbow in Drake's hand, "That's not normal."

"Neither are these." He muttered before Katherine appeared next to him to see a drawer with a false bottom full of hunter gear, "Stakes, guns, and a shit ton of vervain."

"Would such a shame for it to go to waste." Katherine said innocently.

Katherine chuckled, "It would, wouldn't it."

He twirled a stake between his fingers as he replies, "I think I know a certain pair of brothers we could use these on."

"Who are you supposed to be?" Drake asked curiously.

They had told Tyler and Matt to meet them at their new place. They informed them of their plan to get rid of the Salvatore Brothers. Drake also armed Matt with Alaric's hunter gear.

"I'm JFK." Matt answered.

"Not you." Drake replied before he pointed at Tyler, "You."

Tyler was dressed as a cowboy with an eyepatch. The football player blinked at the vampire, "John Wayne from True Grit." He gestured to his entire outfit.

Drake had a look of confusion before he nodded, "Oh yeah. Never seen that movie." He muttered before clearing his throat, "Anyways, news about our reluctant acquaintance?"

"Not much." Tyler shrugged, "He gave Elena a creepy look at class but that was it."

"What does he want with Elena anyway?" Matt asked curiously.

Drake had to think quickly. The two boys didn't know about Elena's role in breaking the curse, "Elena's the key to taking down Stefan and Damon. They'll do anything for her. With them out of the way we can break the curse without interruption."

"Boys." Katherine's voice echoed, "How do I look?"

The three men looked up to see Katherine in a tight gold dress. She wore a short wig, blue eyeshadow, and a golden headdress in the shape of an eagle. Her earrings jingled as she descended the stairs.

Matt was at a loss for words and Tyler let out a simple, "Whoa."

"Elizabeth Talyor as Cleopatra?" Drake questioned.

"Of course." She replied before she held up her necklace, "Put it on me." Katherine held up a necklace of two golden alligators biting each other, "My totem remember?"

"Yeah." Drake smiled before taking the necklace in hand and walked around his sister.

"What's a totem?" Matt asked as Drake clasped her necklace.

"Think of them as spirit animals." Drake answered, "Katherine's is an alligator as they represent stealth, efficiency, aggression, and survival."

Drake refrained from mentioning the last trait, maternal instincts.

"Not to mention revenge." Katherine smirked.

"What's yours?" Tyler asked curiously.

"Mine is a lion." He smiled to himself, "They represent strength, protection, ferocity, authority, and family."

"Bet mine's a wolf." Tyler smirked, getting a scoff from Matt.

"Probably a beaver." Katherine replied.

"Definitely a beaver." Drake agreed.

"Screw you guys."

Matt laughed before he asked, "So what's the plan again?"

"I think you guys will like it." Drake had a satisfied tone to his voice.

"Won't people see that Katherine and Elena look exactly alike?" Tyler asked, raking his eyes up and down Katherine's body.

"No." Drake replied, "I've charmed the necklace so it can shroud Katherine's real appearance with a glamour. The only people who can see through it are the people who know who she really is."

"So Elena, Damon and Stefan, and the others. . ."

"Will be able to see through it yes." Said Katherine with a smirk, "Come gentlemen it's time to make our grand entrance."

The 60s decade dance was in full swing when the gang arrived. They were on the lookout for Klaus. Earlier that day he had compelled one of their friends to inform Elena that he wants to have the last dance. Their entire plan depended on identifying who Klaus was and isolating him long enough for Bonnie to kill him.

Suddenly the music stopped and Dana stood with the DJ, "Thanks for being here everybody." She said as the crowd let out a round of applause, "We have a special shout out, everybody. This is for Stefan from Katherine."

The crowd applauded as the entire group felt an old chill. Summer Wine by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood played through the speakers. The entire student body began to dance along to the beat.

"Katherine's here?" Elena wondered as they frantically looked around the gym for her.

"Where is she?" Bonnie asked.

"Just keep an eye out for an evil vampire slut with too much makeup and an over-the-top costume." Damon said before spotting Alaric, "Katherine hates being ignored so let's just blend with the part and she'll come to us."

"He's right." Bonnie said, grabbing Jeremy's arm who despite his protests guided him to the dance floor.

"What about Klaus?" Stefan asked, grabbing Damon.

"He's obviously pulling on the evil bitch's strings. Once we have her we find Klaus." Damon replied before walking away.

Damon made his way through the dance floor before he finally found Alaric, "Guess the bitch is back."

Alaric let out a laugh, "So she's working with Klaus now?"

"More like he's compelling her. Duplicity is Katherine's middle name." He replied before he scanned the room, "All we need to do is catch the bitch before she can start whatever game she's playing."

"And you think that'll be easy?" Alaric asked skeptically.

"The bitch is alone, we outnumber her." Damon shrugged, "Keep an eye out." He warned, walking away from him.

Alaric grabbed Daemon's arm, "I don't think I need to." He said pointing to the entrance, "She isn't as alone as you think."

Across the room, Tyler entered the gymnasium with Katherine on his arm. Everyone stopped and marveled at Katherine's costume. Her dress shimmered when the lights hit the glittering gold fabric. The crowd parted as they continued on their way, her golden cape dragging behind her like a waterfall of gold.

Damon glared at the pair, almost baring his fangs, "I knew I should've killed that werewolf when I had the chance."

Elena and Stefan maneuvered through the crowd before they made it to Damon, "What is Tyler doing with Katherine?" Elena asked discreetly.

"Isn't it obvious?" Sneered Damon, "That bitch told wolf-boy about his uncle. She's probably screwing him too." He glared at Katherine before he shifted his gaze to Tyler, "Keep her distracted I'll deal with him."

Katherine and Tyler stopped at the center of the room and began to dance.

He moved towards the pair before Stefan grabbed his arm, "Wait. You can't just kill Tyler. His mother's a part of the council and not to mention he's our friend." Emphasized Stefan.

"Your friend." Damon shot back, "I've been itching to put him down ever since I found out about his nocturnal activities."

"We're not killing Tyler." Said Elena as Jeremy and Bonnie joined the group.

Jeremy blinked at Damon, "You want to kill Tyler?" He said accusingly.

"Oh come on." Whined Daemon.

"Originals can compel vampires maybe that can compel werewolves too." Bonnie suggested, "He could be doing this against his will."

"Doesn't matter if we kill him now he won't get a chance to do whatever Klaus compelled him to do." Damon stated.

"And what you're going to kill him in the middle of the dance?" Asked Stefan with a skeptical tone.

"Caroline and Matt are here." Elena said, "She doesn't know what's going on we have to tell her."

"On it." Stefan replied before he made his way towards the pair and Elena went to follow before she was pulled back into Damon's arms.

From over Tyler's shoulder, Katherine watched as Stefan approached Matt and Caroline and grinned. Over Katherin's shoulder, Tyler saw as Damon cut into the dance between Jeremy and Bonnie. Tyler leaned forward so that his lips hovered over Katherin's ear.

"Jeremy's moving." He whispered.

Katherine grinned excitedly, "It's time."

They continued to dance along with the music before they saw Elena dragged Bonnie away. Then after they saw Damon and Stefan argue. Looking across the room they saw Klaus nod to them before he walked away. They exchanged a look before they went to leave.

Damon and Stefan stopped their argument as they saw the golden figure of Katherine move through the crowd. They traded silent looks before they went to follow after the vampire and werewolf. They followed the pair as they made their way through the halls. Suddenly they stopped and turned around to face the Salvatores as they rounded a corner.

"Took you long enough." Katherine said amused as she shrugged off her golden cape, "I was beginning to wonder if we lost you or if you lost us."

"Tell us where Klaus is." Damon demanded.

"Or what?" Tyler challenged taking off the cowboy hat and eye patch before he glared at Damon, "You'll tie us down to chairs, torture us for information before killing us?"

"For starters." Replied Damon.

"Tyler please." Stefan stepped forward, "Whatever Klaus or Katherine told is a lie. You can't trust them."

"So Damon didn't kill my uncle?" Tyler glared as he approached the blonde, "So you didn't kill Vicki?"

Stefan thought for a moment as he was trying to find the words to calm the teen down, "Tyler, what you have to understand is-"

"What I understand!" The werewolf sneered as his eyes glowed gold, "Is that the both of you need to pay."

Damon scoffed, "Please. Without the full moon your just another hormonal teen with daddy-"

Before Damon could finish his statement Tyler appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the shirt. He spun the vampire around before throwing him into a row of lockers. Stefan watched in shock as Tyler bared his fangs. He turned to face Katherine who grabbed him by the collar and pinned him to the wall.

"Believe me Stefan you don't want to be anywhere near that fight when Tyler starts snapping his teeth." Katherine warned.

Stefan slapped her arm away before he grabbed her by the throat. He moved the pin against the opposite wall but she easily spun them around so she pressed him against the wall again. She raised her foot before she stomped down plunging her heel through his shoe and foot. Stefan screamed in pain as blood seeped out of his shoe and pooled on the floor.

Katherine grabbed his wrists and pinned them to his sides, "Now sit tight and let's enjoy the show."

Damon looked up at Tyler puzzlingly before he bared his own fangs. He dashed up at Tyler who quickly reacted. They grappled for a moment and spun around before Damon slammed Tyler against the concrete wall. The werewolf quickly reacted by raising his leg and kicked Damon across the room and through a door. Tyler quickly followed after him and entered the classroom.

"You son of a bitch!" Tyler snarled as he approached Damon, "I've been waiting for this!"

Damon stood up as his true face appeared, "Right back at ya!"

They both roared before they charged for each other. Tyler crouches and tackles Damon's abdomen, lifting him off his feet before slamming him down, cracking the ground beneath them. The vampire quickly raised his legs and kicked the teen across the room and out of the door.

Damon quickly dashed out of the room only to be grabbed by the collar and thrown to the ground. He looked up too see Katherine standing between him and Tyler, "As much as we love the show I'm afraid we're a bit on a tight schedule."

"We?" Damon looked across the hall to see Stefan on the ground unconscious with a man standing above him. The man in question turned to face him. He eerily looked similar to Katherine from his hair, skin and eyes, "Who the hell are you?" He asked as he attempted to get up only to find himself unable to move.

The man instantly stood above him and glared right down at him, "My name is Drake Pierce and you fucked with the wrong family."

Just then Damon felt a surge of pain well up in his entire body. He screamed in agony as he writhed on the ground. Eventually his screams only became whimpers before he too fell unconscious. Drake smirked down at Damon before he sighed.

"Take him and Stefan to the tomb. There's still one more thing I need to do." He said before he walked away.

"Klaus." Elena said as the shock slowly settled in.

"Surprise!" The man behind Alaric's face taunted.

She shook her head in shock, "No, it's not possible."

"Relax, Elena, I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on our hit list tonight." He assured before he gaze shifted to Bonnie, "But your friends on the other hand."

Bonnie quickly sent him flying into the row of lockers before he could move, "We've got to run."

The two girls turned and ran only to be cut off by a man, "Looks like you need some help, Klaus." He taunted, watching the man get on his feet, "Mind if I help?"

"By all means."

The lights on the ceiling began to flicker as his eyes darkened and veins protruded. Bonnie looked at the man in shock before she raised her hands to push him away but nothing happened.

"What?" She looked at her hands before her vision began to blur, "No." Was all she could say before she fell to the floor.

"Bonnie!" Elena reached out to her friend before all the lights burned out.

Elena stood in the darkness for no more than a second before the lights flickered back on revealing that she was alone. She desperately looked around only to see Bonnie, Klaus and that man had all gone.

"Bonnie!"

"Wakey wakey." An all too familiar voice echoed throughout the tomb.

The Salvatore Brothers let out a simultaneous groan. Standing up, they found themselves inside the tomb and Katherine standing just outside. Damon glared at her before he charged at her, colliding with an invisible wall. He looked around at the doorway before his gaze eventually fell to Katherine.

"You scheming, conniving bitch." Damon glared at her.

The doppelganger smiled in response, "You flatter."

"Yes, quite the charmer this one is." A new voice said just as a man appeared behind Katherine.

"Who the hell are you?" The elderl Salvatore demanded.

"The one man who's always loved me." Katherine said before she turned around and threw her arm over the man's shoulder, "And the only person I could ever really trust."

Damon scoffed, "Another idiot you seduced."

"Not even close." The man replied, "Don't you remember what I said before you fainted?"

"Who are you?" Stefan asked as he stepped up besides Damon.

"Drake Pierce." Damon said as he began to remember what happened, "He's Katherine's brother."

"That's impossible, witches can't live for five hundred years." Stefan replied, "Any family she has is long dead."

Just then Stefan's arm broke causing the vampire to yelp in pain. Drake had his arm raised before he sighed, "You're right, Stefan, witches can't live forever. However, I'm no regular witch." He replied as his true face appeared.

Damon took a step back, "No way."

Katherine gave them a taunting smile, "Drake here is a hybrid which makes him ultra powerful."

"He got you out of the tomb." Stefan quickly figured out, "You've been free for weeks."

"And I've been pulling the strings since then." Drake replied, "I gave Tyler the moonlight amulet so that he could stand a chance against you, told Matt about Vicki's death and stole Jeremy's ring."

"And that's not even the best part." His sister stated.

"You struck a deal with Klaus." Damon glared at the siblings, "You do realize that he'll kill you when he gets what he wants right?"

"Why do you think we bothered helping Bonnie channel her ancestors?" Katherine asked, "So that Drake here can siphon from that connection."

"You set this all up so that no matter that you'd get out scott free." Damon sneered at them.

"And since Drake is part vampire he won't die incase you need to kill Klaus." Stefan added.

Damon scoffed at them, "Always a plan b."

"Two heads are better than one." Katherine stated before she added, "And please be delicate with your roommates we wouldn't want to us their replacements."

Turning around the brothers found Luka and Jules chained to opposite walls of the tomb, "A vampire, a werewolf and let me guess you have the -"

"Moonstone?" Katherine held up the rock in question, "In a soap bowl, really?"

Stefan gave Damon a pointed look before he looked at the older siblings, "Alright you've got us and you're helping Klaus break the curse, then what?"

"That's a surprise." Katherine replied, "Until then please aquant yourselves and make no trouble."

They began to walk away when Damon said, "And what if we kill Jules or Luka, that would put a damper on your plans right?"

Drake chuckled, "You don't want to do that."

Damon replied with a confident smirk, "Why not?"

"Because if you kill either of them then we'll have to replace them with someone sweet Elena cares about." Katherine answered, "I've had Jenna ingesting my blood for days and not to mention we have Tyler on a leash. Either way you'll be responsible for the death of someone Elena loves."

"Even if you were stupid enough to kill either of them I put a protection spell on them." Drake added, "Face it, when the next full moon comes around Elena will be sacrificed. She was always on borrowed time for you boys anways. If not this then age would've claimed her." He flicked his wrist and shut the tomb, "This way she goes out with style."

"Bitch." Damon snarled.

Back at the Salvatore house, Elena, Jeremy and Caroline sat in silence. They're still reeling from what happened tonight. Klaus, Katherine and that stranger won tonight.

"Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, they're all gone." Elena's hands shook, "We lost."

"We had no way of knowing that Katherine and Klaus were working together or whoever that witch was." Jeremy replied, "We'll get them back."

"How?" Caroline asked, "We don't know where they are or if their even. . . sorry." She quickly cut herself off, "Even if we did know, without Bonnie or Stefan and Damon we can't stand up to them."

Jeremy nodded, "Katherine is stronger than Caroline, they have a witch and not to mention Klaus is an original. We need to find a way to even the odds."

Just then an idea came to Elena, "An original." She whispered, "We need an original."

The blonde looked at her friend confused, "Well it's not like we have one on call."

"We do." Elena stood up, "We have Elijah."
