Chapter 1: Traveling Preparations

In a village outside a grassy field, rays of the sun hit the boy, who is sleeping at a tree trunk and the sun's rays make him open his blue eyes. His vision is blurry and groggy , as he lets out a huge yawn before going back to sleep. As the boy goes back to sleep, something hits him, causing him to wake up fully while screaming.

"Wh-What the…?" The boy asked.

"Hey, come back here!" A voice called.

The boy sees the same blond boy from before running after a bunch of sheep.

"Eliot, what's going on?" The boy asked, calling the blond boy Eliot.

"Oh, s-sorry, Kibou. I didn't mean to wake you up I-I'm trying to get these sheep back into the pen." Eliot said.

"Why're they even out?" Kibou asked, getting up.

"U-Um… I was playing and I...accidentally opened the gate, letting out the sheep. I gotta get 'em back in or I'll get into big trouble…" Eliot said, starting to cry.

"Hey, hey, don't worry. I'll get 'em back into the pen." Kibou said.

"Y-You will?" Eliot asked.

"Yeah! Let's find these sheep and herd 'em back!" Kibou said, grinning.

"Th-Thanks, Kibou! You're the best!" Eliot said.

(World of Fortune Village)

(Field Theme: Life in the Village)

(Village Grounds)

Kibou begins moving through the village grounds to find the sheep moving around and while finding sheep, Kibou finds one eating grass. Kibou sneaks behind the sheep and manages to catch it and puts it back into a pen.

"That's one! Few more to go!" Kibou said.

Kibou explores the village to find more sheep and then finds two more, so Kibou begins leading the two sheep through the village and later to the pen, where Kibou escorts the two sheep into.

"Okay, only more left." Kibou said.

Kibou continues exploring to find four sheep and begins escorting the four sheep through the village and manages to get them into the pen. After all the sheep are in the pen, Eliot closes the pen's gate, keeping the sheep in the pen.

"Th-Thank you, Kibou." Eliot said.

"No prob. Just be careful from now on, yeah?" Kibou said.

"I just hope nobody saw me…" Eliot said.

"KIBOU!" A voice called.

"Oh, crap… It's Tsubaki…" Kibou said, with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"I'm doomed…" Eliot said scared.

"Just leave the talking to me." Kibou said.

The two see a girl with, who is thirteen-years-old with shoulder length red hair with a side ponytail to the right side of her head, blue eyes, wearing a white and blue sleeveless shirt, a short yellow skirt, pink bracelets on both wrists, pink short boots, and a blue ribbon on her ponytail coming their way.

"Ts-Tsubaki…! I-I'm sorry…!" Eliot said, crying.

"Ugh, what're you crying about now, Eliot?" Tsubaki asked.

"Um, sheep got out, but we got 'em back to the pen." Kibou said.

"Whatever. Look, Kibou, Celica wants your help. So, get your lazy butt over there!" Tsubaki said.

"Okay, fine, but to help with what?" Kibou asked.

"Seriously? How stupid can you be? We're trying to finish up that boat, duh!" Tsubaki said.

"Oh, right! That's today!" Kibou said.

"Yeah and Celica and I are NOT gonna be the only ones working on it. You're lucky I found you awake, 'cause as usual, I'd find you snoozing." Tsubaki said.

"Hey, for your information, I didn't feel like I was asleep! There was this big black THING swallowing me! I couldn't escape or…" Kibou was cut off as Tsubaki hits his head. "Ow! What's that for?!" Kibou asked, rubbing his head.

"Bonehead. You were OBVIOUSLY dreaming." Tsubaki said.

"No I wasn't! It felt real!" Kibou said.

"Whatever." Tsubaki said, rolling her eyes. "If you're done being stupid as usual, can we go to Celica now?" Tsubaki asked.

"Fine." Kibou said.

Tsubaki leaves and Kibou and Eliot follow her through the village.

Meanwhile on an island, someone is lying on the sandy beach and it's a boy, who is fourteen-years-old with spiky brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a red jumpsuit and shorts with a zipper in the middle, black hoodie with white short sleeves over the jumpsuit, white fingerless gloves, yellow shoes, and a silver crown necklace with a crown. The sun's rays hit the boy, making him open his blue eyes, as if he's waking up, but lets out a huge yawn before going back to sleep. As the boy lays back down on the sand, someone appears in his face and it's a girl, who is also fourteen-years-old with short auburn hair, blue eyes, wearing a white sleeveless top with blue trims, purple skirt, white and blue shoes, and a yellow bracelet. The boy sees the girl and jumps back in shock, making the girl giggle at the boy's reaction.

"Gimme a break, Kairi…" The boy said, slightly annoyed.

"Sora, you lazy bum. I knew I'd find you snoozing down here." Kairi said.

"No, this huge black THING swallowed me up! I couldn't breathe or couldn't…" Sora was cut off as Kairi bonks his head. "Ow…" Sora said, rubbing his head.

"Are you still dreaming?" Kairi asked.

"It wasn't a dream, or was it? I dunno… What was that place? So bizarre…" Sora said.

"Yeah, sure." Kairi said, going for the shore.

"Hey, Kairi, what was your hometown like? You know, where you grew up?" Sora asked.

"I told you before. I don't remember." Kairi said.

"Nothing at all?" Sora asked.

"Nothing." Kairi answered.

"You ever wanna go back?" Sora asked.

"Well, I'm happy here." Kairi said.

"Really?" Sora asked.

"But you know, I wouldn't mind going to see it." Kairi said.

"I'd like to see it too. Along with any other worlds out there. I wanna see 'em all!" Sora said.

"So, what're we waiting for?" Kairi asked.

"Hey, aren't you guys forgetting about me?" A voice asked.

Sora and Kairi turn to see another boy, who is fifteen-years-old with semi-long silver hair, cyan eyes, wearing a yellow and black sleeveless shirt, blue pants, black and blue shoes, and black gloves carrying a log.

"Heh, 'course we wouldn't forget you, Riku. You obviously need you." Sora said.

"So, does that mean I'm the only one working on the raft?" Riku asked, tossing the log to Sora, making him fall over. "I swear, Kairi, even you can be as lazy as he is." Riku said.

"So, you noticed. Okay, let's finish it together! I'll race you!" Kairi said.

"Huh?" Sora asked.

"What? Are you kidding?" Riku asked.

"Ready...GO!" Kairi yelled.

Both Sora and Riku get up and start racing each other across the island beach while Kairi follows them, laughing at their antics.

(World of Destiny Islands)

(Field Theme: Day at the Beach)

(Beach)

Sora meets with Kairi so they begin working on the raft.

"Okay, so we need some supplies to finish the raft. You're listening, right, Sora?" Kairi asked.

"Yeah, I'm listening." Sora said.

"Good, we need two logs, a cloth, and roope." Kairi said.

"Got it!" Sora said.

Meanwhile in Fortune Village, Tsubaki takes Kibou and Eliot to Celica's house, where they find the same girl from before with a wooden boat that's almost complete.

"Hey, Celica, I got Eliot and the Knucklehead, like you asked." Tsubaki said.

"Hey!" Kibou yelled.

"Thanks, Tsu. Glad you two could join to help finish this boat. Let's get to work getting it finished. It's our means of going to different worlds." Celica said.

"No problem! Oh, by the way, Celica, I've always wanted to ask; what was your hometown like?" Kibou asked.

"Kibou, how many times do I have to tell you? I don't know." Celica said, slightly annoyed.

"Are you sure you don't remember?" Eliot asked.

"Nope, nothing." Celica answered.

"You wanna go see what it's like?" Kibou asked.

"Well, I love being here in this village. Everyone's nice and it's really peaceful. At the same time, I would like to see what my old home's like." Celica said.

"Me too! I wanna see EVERY single world!" Kibou said, excited.

"In that case, let's get to work and NO laziness, Kibou!" Tsubaki said.

"I got it! Shut up already!" Kibou said.

"Anyway, we're gonna need some supplies to get this boat finished. I need three pieces of wood, cloth, and two ropes. Make sure you have everything." Celica said.

"I'm on it!" Kibou said.

Kibou begins moving through the village to find the supplies he needs and he manages to find a piece of wood next to a house and takes it. Kibou then searches the village for more supplies and finds another piece of wood next to a small hut and takes it. Exploring the village more, Kibou finds the third and final piece of wood, but a brown-furred dog has it, so Kibou finds a stick and throws it to distract the dog, allowing him to take the third piece of wood. After getting all three pieces of wood, Kibou begins searching for two ropes and he finds a rope in a barn, so he goes for the barn and takes the rope. Kibou searches the village to find the second rope and during his search, he finds the second rope near a tree and takes it. The final item Kibou needs to find is a piece of cloth and during his search, he finds a piece of white cloth hanging near a house, so Kibou takes it.

"That's all of 'em! Better bring these to Celica." Kibou said.

Meanwhile in Destiny Islands, Sora begins searching for the supplies and he finds the first piece of log on the beach. Sora then searches the beach and later finds a piece of cloth in a small tree hut and also finds some rope on the beach's deck. Sora begins searching for the second piece of log and later finds it on a small island, where Riku is sitting on a palm tree. Sora goes for the small island to take the second piece of log and takes it, but goes for Riku.

"Hey, Riku." Sora said.

"Did you get everything we need for the raft? I already gave my stuff to Kairi." Riku said.

"I'm working on that." Sora said.

"Well, how 'bout we have a quick round?" Riku asked, getting off the palm tree and takes out a wooden sword.

"You're on!" Sora said, also taking out his wooden sword.

(Battle Theme: Bustin' Up the Beach)

The two boys begin fighting with their wooden swords and Riku delivers a strike with his wooden sword, only for Sora to counter and strike back with a big swing, knocking Riku down. Riku gets back up with a kick, but Sora avoids the kick and is about to strike, but Riku double swings his wooden sword followed by a big swing. Sora manages to counter the swing attack and strikes back at Riku, who blocks and counters, but Sora counters again and strikes with his wooden sword.

"Okay, okay. You have the match." Riku said.

"Heh, guess that's 1 for me and 0 for you." Sora said, grinning.

"Don't get cocky, Sora. You just got a win. Doesn't mean anything." Riku said.

"Whatever." Sora said, annoyed.

Sora makes his way back to Kairi.

Back at Fortune Village, Kibou returns to Celica and gives her the supplies.

"Good work, Kibou." Celica said.

"Looks like you pulled your weight for once." Tsubaki said.

"Shuddup, Tsu!" Kibou snapped.

"Here, have this." Celica said, giving Kibou a potion.

"Thanks." Kibou said.

"It's getting late. We should call it a day." Celica said.

"Yeah." Kibou said.

Meanwhile, Sora returns to Kairi and gives her the supplies.

"Thanks, Sora. I knew I could count on you." Kairi said.

"Anytime." Sora said.

"Here, I found this." Kairi said, giving Sora a potion.

"Thanks, Kairi." Sora said.

"Looks like it's getting late. We should finish the raft tomorrow." Kairi said.

At Fortune Village, the sun is setting and Kibou, Eliot, Celica, and Tsubaki are watching the sunset from a building roof.

"I can't wait to go to other worlds. We'll might even see your hometown, Celica." Kibou said.

"It's supposed to be out there, right?" Eliot asked.

"Maybe, but we're not gonna know by just sitting here." Tsubaki said.

"Does anyone know how far a boat can take us?" Kibou asked.

"Got me. I'll think of an alternative if we have to." Celica said.

"What would you do if we were in a different world?" Eliot asked.

"Another good question. I haven't really thought about it, really." Celica said.

"Well, I, for one, always wonder why we're all here in this village. Of all other worlds out there, why're we in this one? Suppose there ARE other worlds, then ours is a piece that's greater. We could've just easily ended up somewhere, yeah?" Tsubaki asked.

"That's a very good thought, Tsu. The problem is none of us know. That's why we gotta go out there and find out ourselves." Celica said.

"Yep, just sitting here doing nothing won't change anything. It's the same stuff, different day. That's why we gotta go." Tsubaki said.

"Wow, you two really thought about this a lot. Truth is, I've been thinking about it too, thanks to you, especially you, Celica ." Eliot said.

"Oh, how so?" Celica asked.

"Well, if it wasn't for you, I never would've asked you to help me make this possible. Thank you, Celica." Eliot said.

"No problem, Eliot." Celica said.

Meanwhile in Destiny Islands, the sun is also setting and Sora, Riku, and Kairi are on Paopu Island watching the sunset.

"So, Kairi's home is out there somewhere, right?" Sora asked.

"Could be. We'll never know by staying here." Riku said.

"But how far can a raft take us?" Sora asked.

"Who knows? If we have to, we'll think of something else." Riku said.

"So, suppose you go to another world, what would you do there?" Kairi asked.

"Well, I haven't really thought about it. It's just...I've always wondered why we're on this island. If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up in this one? And suppose there are other worlds, then ours is just a little piece of something much greater. So, we could've just as easily ended up somewhere else, right?" Riku asked.

"I dunno." Sora said, lazily leaning against the tree.

"Exactly. That's why we need to go out there and find out. Just sitting here won't change a thing. It's the same old stuff, so let's go." Riku said.

"You've been thinking a lot about this lately, haven't you?" Kairi asked.

"Thanks to you. If you hadn't come here, I never would've thought of any of this. Kairi, thanks." Riku said.

"You're welcome." Kairi said.

Meanwhile, Kibou, Eliot, Celica, and Tsubaki prepare to head home.

"Uh, Kibou?" Eliot asked.

"Yeah?" Kibou asked.

"If we do leave this village… Would you...stay with me?" Eliot asked.

"Of course I would. I'll never leave your side, no matter what, El." Kibou said, putting his hand on Eliot's right shoulder.

"Th-Thank you…" Eliot said.

"Hey, I mean, you're kinda hopeless without me." Kibou said, grinning.

"Uh, yeah… I-I...gotta go home. See you tomorrow, Kibou." Eliot said, leaving.

"See ya, El." Kibou said, also going home.

Meanwhile, Sora, Riku, and Kairi prepare to head home.

"Hey, Sora!" Riku called, making Sora turn and Riku throws a star-shaped fruit. "You wanted one, right?" Riku asked.

"A paopu fruit?" Sora asked.

"If two people share it, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives, no matter what. C'mon, I know you wanna try it." Riku said.

"What're you…" Sora stops talking, as Riku laughs, making Sora throw the fruit away and chases after Riku.

The next day at a different world, which is a giant white and blue castle, someone is walking through the castle halls and it's a white duck wearing blue wizard's robes and a purple wizard hat while passing walking brooms, who are carrying pails of water. The duck later stops at a giant purple door and proceeds to knock on the door, but no answer, so he opens the small portion of the door and enters the audience chamber.

"Good morning, Your Majesty!" The duck greeted, walking down the chamber. "It's nice to see you this morn… WHAT?!" The duck asked, noticing the throne is empty.

Coming from behind the throne is a yellow dog with black ears and tail and wearing a green collar, who has a letter in his mouth.

"Pluto, what's that you got?" The duck asked, taking the letter and starts reading.

After reading the letter, the duck runs out of the audience chamber and through the hallways screaming. The duck arrives at the castle's courtyard, where he finds a black dog wearing knight's armor with blue and orange checkered design lying on the grass, sleeping.

"Wake up, Goofy! Wake up! This is serious!" The duck said, but the dog keeps sleeping, much to the duck's annoyance. "That's it! THUNDER!" The duck shouted, summoning a lightning bolt at the dog, striking him to wake up.

"Hey, there, Donald! Good mornin'!" Goofy greeted.

"We got a problem, Goofy! Don't tell anyone." Donald said.

"Queen Minnie?" Goofy asked, looking past Donald.

"Not even the Queen!" Donald said.

"Daisy?" Goofy asked, still looking past Donald.

"NO! It's top secret!" Donald said.

"Uh, good mornin', ladies!" Goofy greeted.

"Wha…?" Donald asked, turning to see two females.

The first is a black female mouse wearing a pink and red dress, light pink gloves, and a gold crown.

The second is a female white duck wearing a purple dress, lavender gloves, and a small tiara.

"And what exactly is top secret, Donald?" The female duck asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"Uh…" Donald stops talking and chuckles nervously.

"I think we should have a talk about what you found out today." The female mouse said.

There's Chapter 1, introducing my character fully, Kibou and yes, he's the other hero. Just like the last two two heroes stories I've done, I had to switch between what Kibou an Sora are doing and it's gonna be the same thing in the next chapter.
