Chapter 7: Road to Hero
Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, and Amity are in the Gummi ship and they start looking for a new world to go to.
"So, which world should we go to next?" Sora asked.
"There's two more on the screen. The one with two stars is still here and now there's one with three stars." Goofy said.
"I think we should go to the world with two stars." Kibou suggested.
"Good idea, Kibou. That way, it's easier." Twilight said.
"Okay, let's go." Donald said.
The Gummi ship begins flying through space while shooting down Heartless ships and later, after a few minutes of flying, fighting Heartless ships, and dodging space junk, they finally arrive at the next world, which has a large arena with two statues clashing swords together.
"Wow, that looks interesting." Sora said.
"What kind of world is that?" Arthur asked.
Chip and Dale appear on screen.
"Fellas, you've arrived at Olympus Coliseum. It's a world, where galdiators and heroes battle against each other and monsters." Chip explained.
"So basically, it's a world, where there's nothing but fighting." Amity said, slightly annoyed.
"I wanna check it out!" Sora said excited.
"Of course you do." Donald said annoyed.
The Gummi ship disembarks for the next world.
The seven leave the Gummi ship and go through doors and arrive at a courtyard and they see a giant arena with two statues.
(World of Olympus Coliseum)

(Coliseum Gates)
"Wow!" Sora said, looking around.
"I wonder if there's a place to sign up." Goofy said.
"I guess we just go inside to sign up. Let's see who runs the show." Kibou said.
"Let's just try and make this quick." Amity said.
The seven head for the arena and enter it.
(Coliseum Lobby)
The seven are now in a lobby and they find what looks like a satyr working on something.
"Um..." Sora was cut off.
"Good timing, kid! Gimme a hand, will ya? Move that pedestal over there for me. I gotta spruce this place up for the games." The satyr said.
"He wants us to move that?" Twilight asked, pointing at a big pedestal against a wall.
"I guess." Arthur said.
"I'll give it a try." Sora said, trying to move the pedestal, but nothing happens. "Ugh, this weighs a ton!" Sora said.
"I'm not gonna try, 'cause I won't have much luck." Kibou said.
"Why don't we talk to that guy again?" Goofy suggested.
The boys walk back to the satyr.
"It's way too heavy." Sora said.
"What? Too heavy?! When did you become such a little..." The satyr stops talking, as he sees Sora. "Oh, wrong guy. What're you doin' here?" The satyr asked.
"Is this the place to sign up for the games?" Kibou asked.
"What's it to..." The satyr stops talking, as he sees Kibou. "What the...?! Nozomi?! Is that you?!" The satyr asked shocked.
"Uh, excuse me?" Kibou asked, taken aback.
"Nozomi?" Sora asked confused.
"Who in the name of Princess Luna is Nozomi?" Twilight asked.
"You've never heard of Nozomi? He's one of the most famous champs of this Coliseum! Ten years ago, both Nozomi and another warrior, Akira, entered a tournament right here in the heart of Greece and won the hearts of everyone. What's more is that they were both the youngest champs. After that, Nozomi and Akira just up and vanished." The satyr explained.
"Nozomi... Akira... Why do they sound familiar to me...?" Kibou asked.
"Uh, Donald, do those names sound familiar?" Goofy asked.
"Kinda, but at the same time, it was ten years ago." Donald said.
"Sorry, kid. Thought you were Nozomi for a sec. You related to him?" The satyr asked.
"I...dunno." Kibou said.
"Hmph. Well, anyway, you asked if this is the place to sign up for the games, right? Well, it is, but this here world famous Coliseum is for heroes only. Here's how it is: Heroes are comin' from all over to fight vicious monsters in the Coliseum." The satyr explained.
"Well, you could say you have some heroes in front of you." Twilight said.
"Yep and Sora and Kibou are real heroes chosen by the Keyblade and the Gemblade." Goofy said, placing his hands on Sora and Kibou.
"And we're heroes too." Donald said.
"Is that right? Well, you two don't look anything like heroes." The satyr said.
"But we've fought a bunch of monsters." Sora said.
"Well, you didn't try moving this." The satyr said, trying to move the pedestal, but nothing and the satyr is worn out.
"Looks to me you've got some trouble yourself." Kibou said, crossing his arms and smirking.
"Yeah, well, bein' a hero is more than just brawn. Let's see what you two can do." The satyr said.
"What do you have in mind?" Kibou asked.
"I'll take you boys to the arena and you'll be given some trials. It'll be tough, though." The satyr said.
"Oh, we got this, Goat boy." Kibou said.
"Don't call me that. The name's Phil. Anyway, talk to me when you're ready." Phil said.
"Oh, I'm hella ready!" Kibou said.
"Me too!" Sora said.
"Okay, show me what you got." Phil said.
(Arena)
Kibou and Sora arrive at the arena and Sora is first while ther are a load of barrels.
"Okay, kid..." Phil started.
"The name's Sora." Sora corrected.
"Right, right. The rules are simple; bust all the barrels within the time limit." Phil said.
"No problem." Sora said.
"Ready, go!" Phil said.
(Trial Theme: Go For It)
Sora begins attacking the barrels with his Keyblade and later, Sora destroys every barrel.
"Not bad, kid! I'm impressed." Phil said.
Kibou is next.
"Okay, kiddo..." Phil started.
"Kibou." Kibou corrected.
"Right, anyway, like your friend here, you gotta destroy all the barrels within the time limit." Phil said.
"I got this in the bag!" Kibou said.
"Ready, GO!" Phil said.
Kibou starts attacking the barrels with his Gemblade and later, destroys every barrel.
"Wow, you're just like Nozomi! Wish he was here to see you in action." Phil said.
"Nozomi... Akira... Who are they?" Kibou asked.
Later, the two boys return to the lobby to talk to Phil.
"You know, you ain't bad." Phil said.
"See? They're not pushovers." Arthur said.
"Guess we're headed for the games." Sora said, putting his hands behind his head, grinning.
"Afraid not." Phil said, shocking the seven.
"Are you serious?!" Kibou asked.
"Why not?" Amity asked.
"Look, it ain't my call. You gotta be heroes to enter." Phil said.
"Man!" Sora said.
"Um, Phil? Is there any way to enter?" Twilight asked.
"Hmm, well..." Phil stops talking, stroking his goatee. "I suppose you can enter, provided you got an entry pass." Phil said.
"WHERE are we supposed to find an entry pass?" Amity asked.
"Hey, chin up. I'm not gonna leave you guys empty-handed. This is for the effort of your trial." Phil said, giving Kibou and Sora Thunder magic.
"Well, thanks, I guess." Kibou said.
"Remember, no pass, no entry." Phil said.
The seven leave the lobby and return outside and return to the Gummi ship.
"Well, that was a waste of time." Amity said.
"Man, this sucks! How're we gonna get an entry pass?" Kibou asked.
"Life is very cruel, isn't it?" A voice asked and they turn to see a figure with blue skin, yellow eyes, flaming blue hair, and wearing a black robe. "Always loves to play sick jokes on other, huh?" The blue figure asked.
"Who're you?" Donald asked in a distrusting tone.
"Oh, right. Where are my manners? Hades, Lord of the Dead, God of the Underworld, yadda, yadda, yadda, nice to meet you." Hades introduced.
"What do you want?" Amity asked, with her hand on her hip.
"Hey, no need to be cold. I'm actually here to help you with your little dilemma. Lemme guess, you wanna enters the games, but that stubborn old goat won't let you, right?" Hades, getting behind Kibou and Sora. "Well, get a load of this." Hades said, conjuring a piece of parchment in front of the boys.
"A pass?" Kibou and Sora asked.
"It's all yours." Hades said.
"Wait, what's the catch?" Arthur asked.
"No catch. Just to help you guys with your little problem. No need to thank me. Good luck out there, kiddos. I'm pulling for you shorties." Hades said, leaving.
"Guys, is it me or is something off about him?" Kibou asked.
"No, you're not alone. I got the same feeling." Sora said.
"He doesn't seem very nice to me." Arthur said.
"Well, as long as we don't run into him again, we'll be fine." Twilight said.
"Well, let's get this over to Phil. Maybe now we can participate." Kibou said.
Unknowing to them, someone watches them from behind an urn and it's what looks like a pink puffball with red blushes on his cheeks and red feet.
"Poyo?" The puffball asked, watching the seven go for the arena. "Poyo!" The puffball said, running from behind the urn.
As the seven go for the arena, something gets Kibou's attention.
"What the hell?" Kibou asked.
"Huh? Kibou?" Sora asked.
"Thought I heard someone." Kibou asked.
"Poyo!" A voice called.
"Hey, I heard it too." Goofy said.
Kibou looks around and then looks down to see a pink puffball.
"Uhh, hi?" Kibou asked.
"Poyo." The puffball said.
"What is that thing?" Donald asked.
"I dunno." Sora said.
"Is there something we can help you with?" Twilight asked.
"Poyo!" The puffball said, pointing at the Coliseum.
"Wait, you trying to enter the games too?" Sora asked.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"I can't understand what it's saying." Amity said.
"Raise your...stubby hand for yes." Kibou said and the puffball raises his stubby hand.
"So, it does want to enter." Arthur said.
"Okay, but you got a name or something?" Kibou asked.
The puffball looks around and then begins drawing something on the ground with his feet, which spells 'Kirby'.
"Poyo!" The puffball said.
"So, you're name's Kirby?" Sora asked.
"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby said, nodding.
"Aww, the feller's spellin' his name. It's cute." Goofy said.
"But WHY does it wanna enter the games?" Donald asked.
"I dunno, but since we're gonna try and enter, why don't you enter with us?" Kibou asked.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby cheered, jumping up and down excited.
"That's a 'yes'." Sora said.
"Well, we might as well go find Phil again." Amity said.
(Kirby has joined you!)
The eight go for the arena and return to the lobby, where they find Phil, who sees Kirby.
"Oh, no! I thought I told you already! Two words: You ain't a hero!" Phil said to Kirby, who starts whimpering while Sora counts the words with his fingers and they're four words.
"Hey!" Kibou called, making Phil turn to them.
"Oh, it's you. What's up?" Phil asked.
"First of all, Kirby's with us." Twilight said.
"And second..." Sora takes out the pass and gives it to Phil.
"No way! You found a pass! Talk about a quick search quest. So, where'd ya get it?" Phil asked.
"Doesn't matter. Can we enter the games now?" Sora asked.
"Well, you got the pass. I'll start you guys off with the preliminaries." Phil said.
"Great." Kibou said.
"Also, quick word of advice: Some weirdos signed up for the games. They should be no match for you, but anything can happen. You ready?" Phil asked and they nod.
Later, the eight enter the arena, as they're ready for the preliminaries.
(Battle Theme: Road to Hero)
Their opponents are Heartless, which are Shadows and Soldiers and they attack with their claws and spin kicks, but Kibou delivers slashes with his Gemblade followed by casting Thunder while Sora slashes with his Keyblade and casts Blizzard. The Heartless try to attack back, only for Donald to cast Thunder while Goofy bashes with his shield, but the Heartless strike back, only for Twilight to unleash magical orbs from her tome while Arthur spin slashes with his sword and shield. The Heartless fight back at the group, only for Amity to summon her Abomination to strike at the Heartless while Kirby delivers multi punches followed by a dash kick and they defeat the Heartless, winning the first round.
"That's the power of the Keyblade!" Sora cheered, spinning his Keyblade like a baton.
"Don't mess with the Gemblade!" Kibou said, putting his Gemblade behind his neck.
The eight talk to Phil.
"You ain't heroes just yet, but you're not doing bad for your first time. Lucky you guys came to me for coaching." Phil said.
Just then, two people enter the arena and they're both young men.
The first young man has spiky blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a black sleeveless top, blue pants, armor on both hips, a silver plate on his left shoulder, a brown fingerless glove on his right hand, yellow and black claw like tips on his left hand, and a red torn cape.
The second young man has spiky salmon pink hair, wearing a white scarf around his neck, a black sleeveless, opened, and untucked wasitcoat, white knee-high trousers, a thick wristband around his left wrist, black sandals, and a mark that has the same fairy with a tail symbol, similar to Lucy's and Gray's, red on his right shoulder.
They both turn to look at the eight, but mostly at Kibou and Sora, who look back at them, but they walk away.
"That was weird." Kibou said.
"Yeah." Sora said.
"What's their problem?" Amity asked.
"I don't think we wanna find out." Twilight said.
"Something tells me they won't be easy to beat. Who knows, maybe you'll end up facing them." Phil said, stroking his goatee.
The eight continue through the preliminaries, as they keep fighting Heartless with Kibou using his Gemblade, Sora using his Keyblade, Donald and Twilight using their magic, Arthur using his sword and shield, Goofy using his shield, Amity using her Abomination magic, and Kirby punching and kicking and they defeat more Heartless.
"Hey, you guys are doin' better than I thought. Too bad he's not here to see this." Phil said.
"Who?" Goofy asked.
"Hercules. He's a hero if there ever was one. He's off visiting his father." Phil said.
The eight continue through the preliminaries and continue fighting Heartless and later, they manage to defeat all the Heartless.
"We're on fire!" Kibou cheered.
"Don't get cocky, Kibou. This'll get harder as it goes." Amity said.
Unknowing to them, Hades is watching them from the barracks and then turns to see the same young men.
"Okay, so, your names." Hades said.
"Cloud Strife." Cloud said, leaning against the wall.
"Natsu Dragneel." Natsu said, crossing his arms and with him is a blue cat eating fish.
"Okay, Cloud, Natsu. Here's what's gonna happen; those little punks are your next opponents." Hades said, pointing at Kibou and Sora. "Now, don't blow it. Just take 'em out." Hades said.
"You're kidding, right? You want them to fight those two?" The blue cat asked.
"The great God of the Underworld is afraid of two kids? Not worth the effort." Cloud said.
"Yeah, I'm with Blondie. I don't hurt children. In case if you burned your own brain with that fiery hair that you forgot, our contract says..." Natsu was cut off.
"I know! You think I don't know?! I wrote the contract!" Hades snapped. "I know it says you're both required to kill Hercules in this tournament, but you gotta get through those kids to get to him. C'mon. Hey, it's like what that old goat says, 'Rule No. 11: It's all just a game, so let loose and have fun with it'!" Hades said, punching the air.
"What's the fun in fightin' kids?" Natsu asked.
"You'd be surprised. I mean, a casualty or two along the way is no big deal, right?" Hades said.
"Whatever. Let's just get this over with." Cloud said, getting off the wall and starts walking.
"C'mon, Happy." Natsu said.
"Aye." Happy said.
The three start walking off, but Natsu turns to see Hades, who grins and gives a thumbs up and Natsu walks off.
"Sheesh, stiffer than the stiffs back home. Still, suckers like them are more difficult to come by." Hades, as growling is heard from the darkness.
The eight continue fighting off Heartless in the preliminaries and later, they finish the remaining round and enter the final round in which the same two young men, Cloud and Natsu enter the arena.
"Oh, crap. Them." Kibou said.
"So, we're gonna fight them after all..." Arthur said.
"Let's get started." Cloud said, taking out a blade wrapped in bandages.
"No holding back, 'cause I won't." Natsu said, lighting his fists with flames.
(Boss Theme: Shrouding Dark Cloud)
Cloud delivers a dashing blade attack while Natsu fires three fireballs at the eight, who dodge out of the way and Kibou slashes at Natsu with his Gemblade followed by a spinning slash while Sora vertical slashes with his Keyblade. Cloud quickly double slashes at both Kibou and Sora, knocking them back, but Twilight uses her magic to save them and then fires magic blasts from her horn at both Cloud and Natsu while Kirby takes out a hammer and delivers a big whack. Natsu delivers two fire punches at Kirby followed by a spinning flame kick while Cloud dash slashes at the eight and then jumps into the air and delivers a diving attack with his sword, but Arthur triple slashes with his sword while Goofy uses Charge. Cloud retaliates with a double sword swing while Natsu delivers a flaming uppercut, only for Amity to summon an Abomination fist from the ground to deliver an uppercut at Natsu while Donald casts Fire at Cloud, only for Natsu to get in front and eats the fireball.
"Wak! He ate my fire?!" Donald asked shocked.
"Thanks for that fire, Duck Boy! Now I've got fire in my belly! Fire Dragon's ROAR!" Natsu shouted, breathing a huge amount of flames from his mouth at the eight.
Twilight quickly casts a magical barrier around them to protect them from the fire, only for Cloud to destroy the barrier with his sword and attacks Twilight, who teleports away, allowing Kirby to deliver a big swing with his hammer, sending Cloud back. Cloud uses his sword to skid to stop, as Natsu shoots three fireballs at the eight, only for Kibou to cast Blizzard at Natsu, causing great damage to the fire mage, allowing Sora to triple slash with his Keyblade, but Cloud delivers a dashing slash attack at Sora, only for Goofy to block with his shield and tries to bash at Cloud, who backs off and delivers a diving strike. Amity uses her Abomination to grab Cloud and uses it to slam the warrior to the ground, allowing Donald to cast Thunder while Twilight casts Blaze, but Natsu delivers a flaming kick at the duck mage, only for Arthur to double swing with his sword and then bashes at Natsu with his shield while Kirby delivers a leaping kick, sending Natsu back, but Natsu recovers.
"Is that the best you can do, Salamander?" Cloud asked.
"Shut the hell up, Blondie! I was just warmin' up!" Natsu yelled.
Natsu uses his fire to fly up into the air and then lights both hands with flames and dives down back to the ground and delivers a huge fiery shock wave to get the eight, who dodge and Twilight casts a water spell to strike at Natsu. Cloud dash slashes at Twilight and then dash slashes at Amity, who dodges and summons another Abomination fist to deliver an uppercut while Arthur uses Sword Thrust to strike at Cloud. Natsu uses Fire Dragon's Roar again to get the three, only for Kirby to inhale the flames and transforms into Fire Kirby, much to Natsu's shock and Kirby unleashes his own flames while Goofy manages to ram his shield into Natsu, sending him back while Donald and Sora both cast Blizzard at the fire mage. Cloud delivers a diving strike at Sora and Donald, but Kibou quickly casts Thunder on Cloud, sending the warrior to the ground, but Natsu delivers fire punches at Kibou, who backs off, only for Natsu to deliver a somersault flame kick, only for Kibou to cast Blizzard, stunning him and delivers triple slashes with his Gemblade. Sora delivers three slashes at Cloud with his Keyblade, but Cloud counters and retaliates with his own strikes from his sword and the two clash swords, but Sora manages to gain the upper hand and delivers a heavy strike with his Keyblade.
Both Natsu and Cloud kneel to the ground and Natsu breathes heavily.
"Dammit... Those kids are tougher than I thought..." Natsu said, breathing heavily. "But...I can't lose... Not here... Not now...! Luce...I'll still fight until the end...until I find you!" Natsu said.
"Natsu, get up! Don't give up!" Happy called.
Kibou and Sora walk to the two while Phil cheers them on.
"Hey." Kibou said.
"I can...still fight...! I'll never quit for Lucy!" Natsu said.
"Lucy? You mean Lucy Heartfilia?" Kibou asked.
"You know her too?" Sora asked.
Natsu and Cloud try to get back up, but then, something crushes them and they're giant paws of a giant black three-headed dog with red eyes and razor sharp teeth.
"What the hell is THAT?!" Kibou asked.
Natsu manages to try and get up from the giant paw and he turns to see Hades.
"Hades...! You bastard! You set this up!" Natsu yelled.
"Oh, sorry. There's one other rule I forgot: Accidents happen." Hades said, leaving.
"HADES!" Natsu shouted, but the paw sends him down again.
The three-headed dog prepares to attack the eight, but then, someone keeps it at bay and it's a man with orange hair, wearing bronze sleeveless armor, and a blue cape.
"Herc!" Phil called.
"Phil, get them outta here!" Hercules said.
"Guys, c'mon!" Donald said.
"But..." Kibou stops talking, as he and Sora follow the others out of the arena.
The eight and Phil return to the lobby.
"Whew. That was a close call." Phil said.
"Just what was that three-headed dog?" Arthur asked.
"That was Cerberus, right?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah. Guardian of the Underworld." Phil said.
"Thought so. I actually have a Cerberus of my own." Twilight said.
"Herc should be able to handle him, but then again, maybe not... This is bad..." Phil said.
"What can we do?" Goofy asked.
"We can't just let Cerberus roam around and cause havoc and we can't just leave Herc to fend for himself." Kibou said.
"You're right, Kibou. Let's go!" Sora said, as they head for the arena.
"Hey! What're you doing?! You're not going back THERE, are you? This isn't just some game, it's for real! Cerberus'll eat you alive!" Phil said.
"Don't try and stop us! Besides, if those Nozomi and Akira characters were here, I'm sure they wouldn't stay here like cowards and actually do something about Cerberus. This is also our chance to prove that we're hero material or not." Kibou said.
"Oui vey..." Phil said.
"If you're going, then we'll go too!" Arthur said.
"That's right!" Twilight said.
"We'll help you put that three-headed mutt in his place!" Amity said.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby said, nodding.
"Well, if they're gonna go, then I guess we'll have to help too." Donald said.
"Uh-huh!" Goofy said, nodding.
"Okay, just be careful out there, yeah? Good luck." Phil said.
The eight go back to the arena.
At the arena, Hercules, who is carrying the unconscious Cloud over his right shoulder, is against the wall, as he's dealing with Cerberus, but Natsu gets in front.
"You damn three-headed mutt...! I'll burn you!" Natsu yelled.
"Don't. You're still hurt from your fight." Hercules said.
"Don't stop me. Look, truth be told, I was hired to kill you, but since that asshole Hades screwed us over, he's next when I'm finished with this piece of crap!" Natsu said.
Just then, Cerberus turns to see Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby enter the arena, ready to fight.
"This could be my chance to get this guy to safety." Hercules said, running off while still carrying Cloud.
"Guys, I got some advice for ya..." Phil was cut off.
"Yeah, yeah! Attack! We got it." Kibou said annoyed.
"I'm gonna help too!" Natsu said, joining the eight.
"Really?" Sora asked.
"I told ya, I'll keep fightin' until the end!" Natsu said.
"Just don't strain yourself." Twilight said.
(Boss Theme: Squirming Evil)
Cerberus roars and shoots fireballs at the nine, but Natsu and Kirby eat every last fireball and Natsu uses Fire Dragon's Roar while Kirby unleashes a huge stream of flames at Cerberus and they both manage to burn the three-headed dog, making him angry and tries to bite at Natsu and Kirby. The two dodge and Natsu shoots fireballs at one of the heads while Kirby shoots his fireballs at a different head while Kibou slashes at the middle head with his Gemblade while Sora attacks the same middle head with his Keyblade. Cerberus keeps biting at the group, only for Donald to cast Thunder at all three heads while Twilight casts Blaze to get the three heads as well, but Cerberus bites with his left head and then bites with the right head, but Goofy bashes the right head with his shield while Arthur triple slashes at the left head with his sword followed by a shield slam while Amity conjures a pink fireball and throws it at the middle head. Cerberus stands on his hind legs and slams his front paws on the ground, creating shock waves, but they manage to the dodge the shock waves, but Cerberus shoots more fireballs at the group, only for Natsu to eat the fireballs and delivers a fiery uppercut at one of the heads, making it roar in pain and so, Cerberus breathes darkness into the ground, creating dark pillars.
The group dodge the dark pillars, but Cerberus shoots more fireballs, only for Natsu to eat the fireballs while Kirby inhales them, as they keep dodging more dark pillars, but Cerberus breathes more darkness into the ground and unleashes dark pillars. Kibou aerial slashes at one of the heads with his Gemblade and then casts Blaze while Sora casts Thunder, striking at all three heads, only for Cerberus to bite at Sora with all three heads. Twilight manages to get Sora away and then casts Thunder on all three heads and then fires magical orbs from her tome, but Cerberus keeps biting at the group, who dodge out of the way and Goofy bashes at the left head with his shield while Arthur throws his shield at the middle head while Kirby delivers two big swings with his hammer. Cerberus uses his middle head and right head to bite at the group, but Donald casts Blizzard while Amity summons an Abomination fist to deliver an uppercut while Natsu delivers fire punches at all three heads followed by a spinning flame kick, but Cerberus keeps biting at the group. Kibou slashes at the left head with his Gemblade while Sora strikes at the right head with his Keyblade, but Cerberus stands on his hind legs and slams his front paws on the ground, creating shock waves, but they dodge and try to attack, but Cerberus breathes more darkness.
"Ugh, at this rate, we'll never be able to beat this stupid mutt!" Kibou said, but Cerberus is about to bite at Kibou.
"Kibou, watch out!" Sora called.
Kibou blocks to prepare for the attack, but then, the pink heart in his Gemblade starts glowing and just then, something appears out of the Gemblade and it's what looks like a small faerie with pink wild hair, pink eyes, wearing a messy pink dress, her wings are pink and out of order, and has a mischievious smile.
"You called me, huh? About time." The faerie said.
"What the...? Who're you?" Kibou asked.
"Call me Confusia, I'm a Faerie of Chaos. After all these years, it's great to finally be out!" Confusia said.
"What?" Kibou asked.
"Since I'm out, I'm gonna play with the dog!" Confusia said, unleashing falling chaotic energy down on Cerberus, making him roar in pain. "That hurt? How about THIS?!" Confusia asked, unleashing pillars of chaos magic under Cerberus, causing excellent damage. "There, that should weaken the mutt. Well, I'm tired now. Call me again, Kibou!" Confusia said, disappearing back into the Gemblade.
"What just...?" Sora was cut off.
"Never mind that now. Let's finish off this mutt!" Kibou said.
Cerberus breathes more darkness to attack, but Natsu flies himself onto Cerberus' back and unleashes fireballs from behind at the heads, only for Cerberus to get the fire mage off, but Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade followed by casting Thunder while Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade. Twilight unleashes three magical beams from her horn while Donald casts Thunder. Goofy uses Rocket while Arthur delivers a spinning sword strike followed by an upper shield bash while Amity uses her Abomination to create an axe and delivers many strikes with it while Kirby delivers a spinning strike with his hammer while Natsu delivers a fiery uppercut and they all finish off Cerberus, who roars in pain and falls to the ground.
"We did it!" Donald cheered.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby cheered, making a happy dance.
"That was annoying." Amity said.
"Hey, Kibou, what was that fairy thing that came outta your Gemblade?" Sora asked.
"Good question. Also, she said 'faerie'. I dunno how she came outta the Gemblade." Kibou said.
"Well, what matters is it's over and done with." Twilight said.
"Yeah, I'm glad Natsu was able to help." Arthur said.
"Um, WHERE is Natsu?" Goofy asked, looking around to find Natsu gone.
"Huh, he left? I didn't notice." Kibou said.
Unknowing to them, Hades watches and smiles evilly.
"So, that was a Faerie? Maleficent and the Doc are gonna have a field about this." Hades said, leaving.
The group return to the lobby and Phil takes out a papyrus.
"'Thus, I do hereby dub thee junior heroes and confer upon thee full rights and privileges to participate in the games. Further...'" Phil was cut off.
"You can't be serious." Amity said annoyed.
"Yeah, what do you mean 'junior heroes'?!" Donald asked annoyed.
"Look, we might've won the preliminaries, but we're still kinda far from being heroes." Twilight said.
"She's right. You rookies still have a long way to go to be true heroes." Phil said.
"So, uh, what does it take?" Goofy asked.
"Well, that's something you'll have to figure out for yourselves. Just the way that I did." Hercules said.
"No problem. We'll start by proving ourselves in the games." Sora said.
"I like your enthusiasm, kid, but there won't be any games for a while. Thanks to Cerberus, gotta clean the arena after that battle." Phil said.
"Fine. We'll be back later." Kibou said, as they leave.
"I still can't believe those squirts actually beat Cerberus." Phil said, stroking his goatee.
"Hey, Phil, you said that boy, Kibou, looks a lot like Nozomi, right?" Hercules asked.
"Yeah, they do resemble each other. I dunno if there's a relation between the two." Phil said.
"Hmm, well, Kibou does look pretty strong for a kid his age, just like Nozomi, so it kinda makes sense." Hercules said.
"Yeah, wonder what'll happen if he ends up facing you, Champ." Phil said.
The eight begin going for the gates, only to find Natsu and Cloud sitting on the gate stairs.
"Hey, there's Natsu." Kibou said.
"You two okay?" Sora asked.
"Yeah." Cloud said.
"Look, sorry for what happened back there. We did what we had to." Natsu said.
"So, why'd you go along with him anyway?" Kibou asked.
"We're looking for someone. Hades promised to help. We tried exploiting the darkness, but it backfired." Cloud said.
"I can't face everyone in Fairy Tail now, let alone Luce. She'd hate me if she found out." Natsu said.
"You know Lucy?" Kibou asked.
"Yeah." Natsu said.
"She's just fine. She's in Traverse Town with Erza, Leon, Gray, Yuffie, and Aerith." Goofy said.
"Aerith...?" Cloud asked.
"Really? Luce AND Erza are okay?! That's awesome! I mean, it's also great Ice Princess is fine too, but still... Lucy, you're safe!" Natsu cheered.
"So, wanna find her?" Kibou asked.
"As much as I wanna, I'm not ready yet. I need to find my light first." Natsu said.
"I still need to find mine." Cloud said.
"You'll find it. Both of you." Sora said.
"Besides, we're searching too." Kibou said.
"For your lights?" Cloud asked and they nod. "Don't lose of it." Cloud said, giving Sora a new ability known as Sonic Blade.
"Kibou, thanks for tellin' me Luce is okay. If you see her again, tell her I'll see her again soon." Natsu said.
"You bet!" Kibou said.
Natsu and Cloud start to walk off.
"Hey, how 'bout a rematch sometime? Fair and square and no dark powers involved?" Sora asked.
"And maybe not so much fire that can burn us severely." Kibou said.
"Why not. I'm game." Natsu said, grinning.
"I think I'll pass." Cloud said, flipping his hair while small smiling and the two leave.
"Well, I think it's time to go." Donald said.
"Hey, Kirby, you comin'?" Kibou asked.
"Poyo?" Kirby asked.
"Yeah, you'd be safer with us." Sora said.
"Besides, you're too cute to just leave alone." Amity said, picking up Kirby.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby cheered.
"But..." Donald was cut off.
"If you say he can't come, I swear to Titan, I'll hurl you into space and we'll leave you there FOREVER!" Amity threatened.
"Aww, phooey..." Donald said.
"C'mon, let's get going." Twilight said.
The eight go for the gates and leave the Coliseum.
Later, it's nighttime and a figure of Hercules is flexing his muscles by Hades.
"He's strong, he's kind, he's always there for you, and he's handsome to boot. He's perfect, perfect...perfectly INFURIATING! HE MAKES ME CRAZY!" Hades shouted, truning red, as red flames erupt before turning blue again. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What've you got to worry about? All the pieces are in place. Relax. Okay, here's what you do; let Hercules train the kids and in the next games, I'll take care of them all." Hades said.
Just then, two people appear behind Hades and they are the same dark skinned figure and the green woman.
"Aw, Maleficent, Dr., just the guys I wanna see." Hades said.
"What is it you want from us, Hades?" Maleficent asked.
"This better be good to have us come all this way." The Dr. said.
"You're not gonna believe this. While those annoying squirts were fighting Cerberus, that boy with the Gemblade did something and summoned a Faerie. A Faerie of Chaos." Hades said.
"What?" Maleficent asked.
"You don't mean he's found a Faerie Heart?" The Dr. asked.
"I dunno where he got it, but he got it." Hades said.
"How interesting." Maleficent said, smiling evilly.
"Well, I suppose we'd better keep tabs on him finding any more of them." The Dr. said.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I got a show to run." Hades said.
"As you wish, fight to your heart's content." Maleficent said, as she and the Dr. leave.
