Chapter 8: Stuck in the Jungle
Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby are in the Gummi ship and somewhere in a different room, Kibou examins the pink heart in the Gemblade and remembers the same pink heart from Wonderland and the chaotic faerie named Confusia, who helped Kibou against Cerberus.
"Faerie of Chaos? That's what it was? Are there more of these heart like things just like in Wonderland?" Kibou asked.
"Kibou?" A voice asked and Kibou sees Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby.
"Hey, you okay?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just trying to figure out what this faerie thing means. That heart from Wonderland showed up outta nowhere, flew into my Gemblade, and while we were dealing with Cerberus, that weird looking faerie showed up from that heart and helped. What could this mean?" Kibou asked.
"I don't know. Maybe we'll figure out more about this as we continue on." Twilight said.
"I'll admit, that crazy faerie arriving to help was kinda of interesting. I've never really seen a faerie like that." Amity said
"Yeah, her powers remind me of Discord, but her powers were no joke." Twilight said.
"Well, anyway, we should find Sora, Donald, and Goofy." Arthur said.
The five find the trio, as they decide which world to go to next.
"Hey, there's one more world on the screen and it's close to Wonderland with three stars." Sora said.
"So I guess we'll be going to that world next." Kibou said.
The Gummi ship starts flying while shooting down Heartless ships and avoiding more space junk and meteors and after five minutes of flying, the ship arrives at a different section of space and they later arrive at a new world that has lots of trees, a waterfall, and a tree house.
"Hey, Donald, ya think King Mickey is down there?" Goofy asked.
"Or maybe Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"In a backwater world like that? I don't think so. Let's move on." Donald said.
"Hey, wait. Riku and Kairi might be down there." Sora said.
"Yeah and maybe Celica, Tsubaki, and Eliot." Kibou said.
"We should at least check into that world first." Amity said.
"Sorry, but we're on an important mission." Donald said.
"C'mon, Donald. Just land us there." Sora said.
"No!" Donald yelled.
"C'mon! Ever since we started this journey, all you cared about was finding your king! Look, we agreed to help you find him, but we should be looking for our friends too!" Kibou yelled.
"Look, all I'm saying is that our chances of finding them in that world are zero. There's no point." Donald said.
"You know what, YOU'RE SELFISH!" Sora shouted.
"I'M SELFISH?! All you care about is finding your friends and that has been putting us in jeopardy!" Donald yelled.
"Guys, stop fighting..." Arthur said.
"Poyo..." Kirby said fearfully.
"Look, maybe we should..." Amity was cut off.
"You know what, Duck? I'm DONE with you! We're LANDING whether you like it or not!" Sora yelled, grabbing the lever.
"No! Don't touch that!" Donald yelled, but the Gummi ship starts crashing down.
"Uh-oh..." Goofy said.
"This is gonna be a rough landing..." Twilight said.
"Everyone brace yourselves!" Kibou said, as the Gummi ship crashes into the world.
Sora falls from the sky and crashes into what looks like a tree house, making a hole on the roof and Sora is now inside the tree house while rubbing his head from the fall.
"Owww... My head..." Sora said, looking around. "Kibou? Twilight? Arthur? Amity? Kirby? Goofy? Donald?" Sora asked, looking around, but unknowing to him, something is stalking him from the higher point of the tree house. "I guess we got separated. This is bad. I'd better..." Sora stops talking, as he turns to see something coming at him and it's a leopard pouncing at him and tries to attack. "Whoa!" Sora said, backing off. "Okay, you oversize furball! You asked for it!" Sora said, taking out his Keyblade.
(Battle Theme: Having a Wild Time)
The leopard leaps at Sora and tries to attack with its claws, but Sora dodge rolls out of the way and attacks with his Keyblade followed by a heavy swing, sending the leopard back. The leopard recovers and swipes its claws, but Sora guards and delivers a counterattack, but the leopard pounces off and then attacks with its claws again, only for Sora to retaliate with striking with his Keyblade and then delivers a huge swing, sending the leopard back and it's knocked down.
"Whew... That was close..." Sora said, as he slowly approaches the unconscious leopard, but then, the leopard gets back and attacks Sora, knocking him back.
The leopard is about to attack Sora, but then, someone comes to the tree house and it's a man with long and shaggy hair and wearing only a loincloth, who manages to block the leopard's attack with a spear, sending the leopard back and the leopard runs off and jumps through the window, leaving the tree house.
"Sabor, danger." The man said.
"Um, thank you." Sora said.
"Thank you." The man repeated.
"Uh, what is this place?" Sora asked.
"This place, this place." The man repeated again.
"Ooookay? Where are the others? Look, I've been separated from my friends. Have you seen them?" Sora asked, confusing the man. "Friends." Sora said slowly.
"Friends." The man repeated.
"Yes! My friends! There's eight of 'em! The loud one's Dona..." Sora stops talking, remembering his fight with Donald. "You know what, never mind. I'm looking for my friends, Riku and Kairi." Sora said.
"Look for Riku, friend?" The man asked.
"Right." Sora said, but then looks past the man to see someone behind and it's Kairi.
"Look for Kairi, friend?" The man asked.
"Uh, right." Sora said and looks back at Kairi, who walks off. "How did Kairi end up here? I thought she disappeared like last time." Sora said in his mind.
"Friends, here." The man said.
"Really?" Sora asked and the man starts making strange sounds. "Huh?" Sora asked and the man makes the same strange sounds.
"Friends, here." The man said.
"Not sure what you mean, but show me. Take me to Riku and Kairi." Sora said.
"Tarzan. Tarzan go." Tarzan said.
"And I'm Sora! Tarzan go, Sora go go." Sora said.
Sora opens the doors and he and Tarzan go outside.
(World of Deep Jungle)
(Field Theme: Deep Jungle)
Meanwhile, Donald and Goofy are in a different part of the jungle full of bamboo and they're sitting on a stump.
"Gawrsh, where are we? I sure hope Sora, Kibou, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby are okay..." Goofy said.
"Aww, who needs 'em?! We can find the King and this Princess Celestia without them!" Donald yelled.
"But the King asked us to follow the Keybearer and the Gembearer." Goofy said.
"Well, I don't care anymore! We're finding a way outta here and we're finding the King!" Donald snapped, trying to find his staff, but his hand touches something else. "Huh?" Donald asked and he sees a blue furred gorilla and both Donald and the gorilla scream.
Just then, something is coming and the gorilla leaves while dropping something, which is an item.
"Is that...?" Donald stops talking.
Something gets closer to Donald and Goofy, who gulp and arriving from the bamboo is a man with dark brown hair with some white streaks, thin mustache, wearing a yellow shirt, tan trousers, black boots, and carrying a rifle.
Meanwhile, Amity is stuck at a treetop and looks around to find a way off.
"Just great. Sora and Donald had to be so stupid! When I find them, it's not gonna be pretty!" Amity said, still looking for a way off the treetops. "Ugh, why did I have to be trapped here of all places? There doesn't seem to be a way off." Amity said.
Just then, something is coming for Amity, who conjures pink magic around her hands.
"Who's there?! Show yourself!" Amity yelled and coming to the treetops is what looks like a female brown furred gorilla. "Oh, I thought it was a Heartless. This may seem impossible, but can you help me? I need to find my friends." Amity said, but the gorilla picks up Amity. "Hey, what are you doing?! I'm asking for help!" Amity said, as the gorilla takes Amity through the treetops and they leave.
Meanwhile, in a different part of the jungle, which is a cliff like area, Arthur is unconscious from his fall and he's having a dream of him being in a town.
"Where am I...?" Arthur asked, looking around the town and recognizes it. "Wait, this is...Camelot! How? I thought it was gone!" Arthur said, seeing many people and everything is fine. "I can't believe it... Everything is how it was." Arthur said, but just then, Camelot starts catching fire, as Shadows appear. "What?!" Arthur asked, horrified while watching all of Camelot burn while people are running in panic. "No... It's just like...!" Arthur stops talking, kneeling and still watching his world in flames and darkness while the Heartless keep attacking people. "I...wasn't strong enough... I couldn't do anything...! Unlce Merlin..." Arthur said, crying.
Just then, Camelot disappears in darkness and Arthur is now in what looks like a dark forest and Arthur keeps crying in despair.
"What can I do...?! I couldn't protect my home...!" Arthur said, sobbing.
"Aww, what's with the water works, kiddo?" A voice asked.
"Huh?" Arthur asked, looking around.
"I can't stand seeing a kid so down on his luck. It really makes me sad." The voice said.
"Wh-Who's there?" Arthur asked.
Just then, something appears and it's what looks like a floating yellow triangle with a cat like eye with a black slit, black slim arms and legs, wearing a black tophat, and black bowtie.
"Don't cry, kiddo! It makes me wanna cry and trust me, I'm a really bad crier." The triangle said.
"Wh-What are you...?" Arthur asked, backing away.
"Hey, hey, kid! No need to be scared of me. Just because I look different, doesn't mean I'm a bad guy. Name's Bill. Bill Cipher. You're Arthur, the boy I've always wanted to meet." Bill said.
"H-How do you know my name?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, I know lots of things, kid. Lots of things!" Bill said in a deep voice, showing many things in his triangle body.
"What are you doing here?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, I'm able to meet people by their dreams. I'm a very special being, but enough about me. Let's talk about you. I was on my way to come see you when I saw you in such despair. It must REALLY hurt to lose your home to those awful Heartless." Bill said.
"Y-Yeah, I couldn't do anything..." Arthur said.
"Hey, don't sweat it. Lots of people lose their homes, but that doesn't mean you're weak. Look, I've been watching you and I've seen how you handle yourself so far. You have lots of potential, kid, but Kibou and Sora, I think they're just holding that potential you have back." Bill said, leaning to a dead tree branch.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, they think you're easily the weakest link of the entire group." Bill said, conjuring a hologram of people, including Kibou and Sora, laughing at Arthur, who is depressed.
"But... Kibou and Sora would never think of that of me." Arthur said.
"Oh, sure, when they're not talking outloud, but they're keeping what they really think of you to themselves and to the others." Bill said.
"No... They're supposed to be my friends..." Arthur said sadly.
"Oh, really? 'Cause it seems to me all Kibou and Sora care about are finding their own friends and they're just using you as a means to an end. Tell me, Artie, what do you think would happen after everybody finds what they're looking for? I'll tell ya, they're gonna leave you in the dirt and abandon you. You'll be all alone again, just like how you were back in Camelot before meeting Merlin and even that old timer's gonna up and leave ya." Bill said, showing another hologram of Arthur being alone, as everyone leaves him and Arthur becomes more depressed.
"But... Kibou and Sora would never..." Arthur said.
"Hey, hey, don't start the water works again, kid. Look, the point is, I like you and I wanna be your friend. I'm someone you can trust. And friends help each other out, right?" Bill said, getting behind Arthur and places his hands on the boy's shoulders.
"What do you mean?" Arthur asked.
"I mean I can help you find your potential. I can make you into a really powerful warrior you're meant to be. I can give you power others can only dream of and a chance to shine like the star you really are in my eye. All I ask is for a FAVOR in return." Bill said, as his eye glows blue while a blue flame lights his right hand.
"A favor?" Arthur asked.
"Sure, I mean, friends help each other. You scratch my back and I scratch yours. And don't worry, it's nothing too big." Bill said, making himself bigger and wider. "All I ask for you to help me find a certain door that leads to the heart of all worlds." Bill said, as his triangle body has many worlds inside him.
"A door...?" Arthur asked.
"Yep. Beyond that door lies an all powerful force, an unseen land that others see as a divine power!" Bill said, creating a giant heart-shaped moon over him. "You see, I'm trapped in a realm and have no way out by unfair means, but with the heart of all worlds, I'll be free once more. I just need a perfect FRIEND to help me and you, Artie, are my lucky winner! Congrats!" Bill said, conjuring an ethereal crown with the word 'WINNER' on Arthur's head while confetti rains down and Bill also makes the dead trees clap and applaud.
"So, you need me to find that door to this heart of worlds for you?" Arthur asked.
"Yep and in return, I'll give you anything you want! Fame, riches, your own universe! I can make you a KING that'll make others to your beck and call!" Bill said, making a hologram of Arthur being king, as everyone bows to him. "So, whaddya say, Artie? Do we have a deal?" Bill asked, reaching out his right hand in blue flames.
"I dunno... All of that stuff sounds great, but... I don't know..." Arthur said.
"Hey, no pressure, kid. I'm not gonna rush ya. You just think about it." Bill said, reaching for Arthur's head while taking out an ethereal brain. "And once you're alseep again and your mind's made up, we can discuss this again. Until then, I'll continue watching you, KING Arthur!" Bill said.
Just then, the dark forest starts vanishing.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, boy, looks like you're about to come to. Remember our talk and also remember this, reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, BYEEEEEEEEEE!" Bill said, as he disappears and so does the dark forest.
Arthur then wakes up and looks around to find himself in the cliff area of the jungle.
"It was all a dream... Was all of that...real? Is there really a door that leads to this heart of worlds?" Arthur asked and thinks about his talk with Bill. "Do Kibou, Sora, and the others...really care about me or are they just using me?" Arthur asked, getting up. "I guess I'd better find them." Arthur said, starting to move.
(Swamp)
Somewhere in a dark and foggy swamp, Kibou and Kirby are exploring the swamp.
"Ugh! Stupid Sora and Donald! They had to argue at the WORST possible time! Now we're stuck here! What's worse is that we don't where the others are." Kibou said.
"Poyo..." Kirby said.
"It's okay, Kirby. All we gotta do is find them in this stupid world. Might as well get started." Kibou said.
Kibou and Kirby begin going through the swamp, but because it's dark, they get lost a little easier, but then, they run into aligators in the waters, but they manage to get through without them biting at the two and keep going through the swamp, but then, they stop as they feel like they're being watched.
"You think something's following us?" Kibou asked.
"Poyo..." Kirby said.
"Might be Heartless again." Kibou said, looking around to see the same leopard pouncing at the two. "Look out!" Kibou said, blocking the pounce attack and swings his Gemblade, knocking the leopard back. "A leopard, here? This jungle's full of surprises!" Kibou said, as the leopard tries to pounce again, only for Kibou to cast Blaze, creating a giant blue firewall, scaring the leopard and making it run off. "What a scaredy cat. Let's go before it comes back." Kibou said.
"Poyo." Kirby said, nodding.
Kibou and Kirby keep moving through the swamp and they later find a tunnel, taking them somewhere else.
(Hippo Lagoon)
Kibou and Kirby arrive at a lagoon full of hippos and they get across by jumping on the hippos until they reach the other side and go for the different part of the jungle.
(Tree House)
At the tree house, Tarzan jumps off the tree house and into the jungle and Sora follows after Tarzan, taking him to a different area of the jungle.
(Jungle: Tunnel)
Sora and Tarzan are now in a tunnel and Tarzan goes into a tree and Sora follows him.
(Slide Theme: Holy Bananas!)
Sora and Tarzan are sliding down a huge vine while taking down tree branches in their way and jumping over larger tree branches and they keep sliding down until the giant vine takes them to a different part of the jungle.
(Campsite)
Kibou and Kirby arrive at what looks like a campsite that has a large tent, many camping equipment, such as crates, boxes, and baggages and there are also experimental items on a table.
"Who'd camp out here? Well, whatever. If there's a camp, there's gotta be people around here." Kibou said.
Just then, the two look up to see something coming down and they're Sora and Tarzan.
"Sora!" Kibou said.
"There you are, Kibou! Glad you're okay." Sora said, but Kibou punches Sora's head.
"Idiot! The hell is your problem?!" Kibou demanded.
"Look, I'm sorry. I just wanted to see if Riku and Kairi were here." Sora said.
"I wanted to find Celica, Tsubaki, and Eliot too, but what did was stupid!" Kibou said and turns to see Tarzan. "Who's he?" Kibou asked.
"This is Tarzan. He helped me when I was attacked by that leopard." Sora said.
"Hi. My name's Kibou and this is Kirby." Kibou introduced himself and Kirby.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"Kibou, Kirby." Tarzan repeated.
"Yeah..." Kibou said.
"Kibou, friend?" Tarzan asked.
"Yeah, Kibou's my friend." Sora said.
"Sora, what's up?" Kibou asked.
"Got me. When I met him, he repeats what I say and start making strange sounds." Sora said.
"What strange sounds?" Kibou asked.
"Well, it went like..." Sora repeats the same sounds Tarzan made.
"If I didn't know better, it sorta sounded like Tarzan was speaking gorilla. Anyway, Sora, do know where Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, and Amity are?" Kibou asked.
"I dunno. I thought they were with you." Kibou said.
"Great. Guess we gotta find them thanks to your stupidity." Kibou said.
"C'mon, Kibou. Gimme a break." Sora said, rubbing his head.
"Poyo!" Kirby said, pointing at the tent.
"Hmm, someone might be in that tent. Let's go see who's in there." Kibou said.
"Good idea." Sora said.
Kibou, Sora, Kirby, and Tarzan go into the tent.
(Camp: Tent)
The four enter the tent and they find a woman with dark brown long hair, wearing a white sleeveless shirt, and a long red skirt working on what looks like a projector.
"Jane." Tarzan said and the woman named Jane turns to see the four.
"Tarzan. Oh, and who are they?" Jane asked, looking at the three.
"Hi. My name's..." Kibou was cut off.
"Oh, so you speak English. So then, obviously neither of you are related to Tarzan." Jane said.
"Uh, no..." Sora said.
"We just met him." Kibou said.
"Are you here to study the gorillas?" Jane asked.
"Study gorillas?" Kibou asked.
"Highly doubtful." A voice said and coming in the tent is the same man and with him are Donald and Goofy.
"Sora! Kibou! Kirby!" Goofy cheered.
"Goofy! You're okay!" Kibou cheered.
"Poyo!" Kirby cheered.
"Hey, what about me?" Donald asked.
"Listen to me, you stupid duck, after all the crap you pulled in that ship, you don't deserve any cheer! Also, if you EVER act selfish again, I swear to God, I'll cook you and have Kirby eat you!" Kibou threatened, making Donald scared.
"Poyo..." Kirby said, also scared.
Sora and Donald look at each other and turn away from each other.
"A circus of clowns. Not much use for hunting gorillas." The man said.
"Wait, you're hunting them?!" Kibou asked.
"Mr. Clayton! We're STUDYING the gorillas, not hunting them. This is research." Jane said.
"Something tells me this Clayton guy's a bit off." Kibou said.
"Poyo." Kirby said, nodding.
"Well, the more the merrier. Do make yourselves at home." Jane said.
"Thanks, Jane. We can't really stay here long. We gotta find our friends." Kibou said.
"Well, you go on ahead." Sora said.
"I'm staying." Sora and Donald said at the same time.
"Ugh, you two are IMPOSSIBLE!" Kibou yelled.
"Hey, look what Donald and I found." Goofy said, showing them the small item.
"Huh? Is that one of those Gummi things you mentioned?" Kibou said.
"Yup. It's a Gummi piece and it's the same one we use for our ship." Goofy said.
"That could mean the King could be here." Donald said.
"And Riku and Kairi." Sora said.
"I guess Celica, Tsubaki, and Eliot could be here too, but we gotta find Twilight, Arthur, and Amity and I don't want to hear any crap from you two!" Kibou berated Sora and Donald.
"Fine." Sora and Donald said.
"Do ya know where we can start?" Goofy asked.
"Tarzan said he'd help me find Riku and Kairi." Sora said.
"Hey, Jane. You seem to know Tarzan better. Is there a reason why he's...not like us?" Kibou asked.
"Oh, well, that's because Tarzan was raised by gorillas when he was a baby." Jane said.
"So, that's why..." Kibou said.
"I've been teaching how a human should behave. It's not easy, but he's still learning." Jane said.
"I see." Kibou said.
"You people are trying to find your friends, yes?" Jane asked.
"Yeah, he said he'd find Riku and Kairi, but that gorilla sound he made was something I didn't get." Sora said.
"Hmm, perhaps that sound may provide some sort of clue. I've been working on this projector to help Tarzan. Maybe that sound might have some connection." Jane said, turning on the projector. "Oh, dear, the slides are missing." Jane said.
"They might be outside." Donald said.
"Let's go find them." Kibou said.
The six leave the tent and return outside to find the slides, but while looking for slides, they see someone coming and it's Arthur.
"Oh, good. Maybe there's someone, who can help me." Arthur said.
"Artie!" Kibou cheered.
"You're okay." Sora said.
"Kibou... Sora..." Arthur said, but remembers his talk with Bill. "Are they...really happy to see me or are they pretending?" Arthur asked in his mind.
"Artie?" Kibou asked.
"S-Sorry. I was looking for you." Arthur said.
"So were we. I was worried." Kibou said.
"You were?" Arthur asked.
"Of course we were." Sora said.
"Kibou and Sora, I think they're holding that potential you have back." Arthur remembers Bill's words.
"So, um... What're we doing?" Arthur asked.
"We're gonna find slides to try and see if we can find our friends." Kibou said.
"Okay. I can help." Arthur said.
They begin finding slides and later, they manage to find enough slides and go back into the tent to give Jane the slides.
"Excellent. Now, let's get to work." Jane said, turning the projector and the first slide reveals what looks like a castle.
"That castle..." Kibou said.
"It's familiar..." Sora said.
"Kibou, Sora, what's wrong?" Goofy asked.
"Nothing." Kibou said.
"I'm good." Sora said.
"Funny. I've never seen a castle before, but why does it look familiar?" Kibou asked in his mind.
"I've never seen castles on my island. Why am I being nostalgic about it?" Sora asked in his mind.
More slides show, but it's nothing relating to their friends.
"Well, Tarzan?" Jane asked.
"Where are our friends?" Arthur asked.
"Where're Riku and Kairi?" Sora asked.
"Do you know about Celica, Tsubaki, and Eliot?" Kibou asked, but Tarzan shakes his head.
"Hey, we thought..." Sora was cut off.
"That just leaves one place." A voice said and they see Clayton coming into the tent. "As you can see, we've been in this jungle for some time now, but we've yet to encounter these friends of yours. I'd wager they're with the gorillas, but Tarzan refuses to take us to them." Clayton said.
"Honestly, Mr. Clayton. Tarzan wouldn't hide..." Jane was cut off.
"Then take us there! Take us to the gorillas! Go-rill-as!" Clayton said.
Tarzan turns to see Kibou and Sora and then nods.
"Tarzan, are you sure?" Jane asked.
"Tarzan go see Kerchak." Tarzan said.
"Kerchak?" Jane asked.
"He must be the leader. Perfect. I'll come along as an escort. The jungle IS a very dangerous place." Clayton said.
"Thanks for your offer, but Tarzan can guide us." Kibou said.
"You're quite stubborn, boy. I think I like you already." Clayton said, leaving the tent.
"This can't be just me. He rubs me the wrong way." Kibou said.
"You're not alone. I don't think I trust him for a second." Arthur said.
"Poyo." Kirby said, nodding.
The group leave the tent and return outside, only for Sabor to attack the group, but Kibou and Sora attack with their weapons while Donald casts Thunder while Goofy bashes with his shield while Arthur double slashes with his sword while Kirby whacks with his hammer while Tarzan attacks with his spear and after enough attacks, Sabor runs away and the group continue moving. The group later return to the hippo lagoon and Tarzan guides them through the lagoon and takes them to a wall of vines for them to climb on and they go higher up the jungle.
(Jungle: Vines)
The group arrive higher up the jungle full of vines, but then, they find someone trapped in vines and it's Twilight.
"Twilight!" Kibou said.
"Oh, thank Celestia you found me. Mind helping me?" Twilight asked.
"Hang on." Kibou said, throwing his Gemblade at the vines, cutting them and freeing Twilight, who flies to them.
"Thanks. Felt like I'd be tangled here for five moons." Twilight said.
"Now all that's left is Amity, but where is she?" Arthur asked.
"We'll find her as soon as we follow Tarzan." Goofy said.
The group follow Tarzan while swinging on vines and they go to a different section.
(Jungle: Vines 2)
The group are now in a different vine section and they find Tarzan talking to a big black male gorilla and with him is the same brown female gorilla and with her is Amity.
"Kerchak, please listen to me! I know the nesting grounds are secret, but I trust them. I want to help them because...because they need us." Tarzan said.
"Uh, did ya get that?" Goofy asked.
"No." Donald said.
"Wish we speak gorilla." Kibou said.
"I wish Fluttershy was here." Twilight said.
"Kerchak!" Tarzan said, but Kerchak looks up at something and leaves with the female gorilla following him.
"Amity!" Kibou called.
"Thank Titan you found me. That female gorilla found me and took me here. As grateful as I was, at least I can get out of here." Amity said.
"Hang on." Twilight said flying to Amity and uses her magic to levitate the witchling to the group.
"Hey, did Kerchak look a little distracted to you?" Donald asked.
"I think so." Arthur said.
"I think he was looking at that tree house." Sora said.
"I wonder what's up." Kibou said.
The group find a vine on a tree and climb up, taking them to a different area.
(Climbing Trees)
The group are now in a tree and begin climbing up and they find a cave, taking them to the tree house, where Sora landed.
"That's the tree house you ended up at and met Tarzan?" Goofy asked.
"Yeah." Sora said, but they see Clayton.
"What's he doing?" Arthur asked.
"I'll go see." Twilight said, flying up.
Inside the tree house, the same blue gorilla is spinning a globe, but Clayton points his rifle at the gorilla and is about to fire, but as he's ready, Twilight flies in just in time.
"STOP!" Twilight shouted, shocking Clayton, as he fires, but misses the gorilla. "How could do such a thing?!" Twilight demanded.
"Nice work, Twi! You stopped him." Kibou said, as he and the others join him while Tarzan sees Kerchak and the blue gorilla.
"Kerchak, please..." Tarzan said, but Kerchak walks off.
The blue gorilla looks at Twilight and Donald before joining Kerchak.
"What is your problem?!" Amity demanded.
"What were you thinking?!" Donald demanded.
"You don't understand. I was trying to... A snake slithered by and you see, I saved that poor gorilla's life." Clayton said, but Tarzan shakes his head.
"I don't believe you. You were about to hurt that gorilla." Arthur said.
"Now what can we do?" Goofy asked.
"Let's go back and tell Jane what happened." Kibou said.
The group later return to the tent and they tell Jane everything.
"How could you do such a thing?!" Jane demanded.
"Now, Ms. Porter. As I have said, I was not aiming at the goril..." Clayton was cut off.
"YOU are not to go near the gorillas again!" Jane yelled.
"Only because of ONE mishap. Come now..." Clayton said, but Kibou, Sora, Donald, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, Kirby, Tarzan, and Jane glare at him, making him chuckle and leaves the tent, but becomes angry. "What am I doing with those imbeciles? Blasted gorillas! I'll hunt down every last one of them! I'll track them down somehow! I'll stake my life on it!" Clayton said, taking out a pipe, but then, he hears something and readies his rifle and makes a fire.
Inside the tent, the group hear the shooting.
"Now what?" Kibou asked.
"It better not be Clayton trying to shoot another gorilla." Donald said.
"We should check outside." Goofy said.
The group return outside, only to find a gorilla surrounded by Heartless that look like monkeys.
"Heartless!" Sora said.
"Not here too!" Kibou said, taking out his Gemblade.
"C'mon!" Twilight said.
The Powerwild Heartless attack with their palms and then deliver slide kicks, but Kibou casts Blaze, burning them while Sora casts Thunder, but the Powerwilds jump into the air and deliver multi punches. Twilight uses her magic to slam them into the ground while Donald casts Thunder while Amity summons an Abomination hand to deliver an uppercut. The Powerwilds deliver multi attacks with their palms, but Arthur uses Sword Thrust while Goofy uses Charge while Kirby uses Inhale to become Powerwild Kirby and delivers multi punches with his palms while Tarzan attacks with his spear and they defeat the Powerwilds.
After the fight, the gorilla leaves.
"More Heartless could be around to hurt more gorillas." Twilight said.
"Let's search the jungle and help as many as we can." Amity said.
The group leave the campsite and go to a different area.
(Bamboo Forest)
The group arrive at the bamboo forest, where they find more Powerwilds attacking another gorilla and so, Kibou slashes with his Gemblade while Sora attacks with his Keyblade while Donald and Twilight attack with their magic while Goofy bashes with his shield while Arthur spin slashes with his sword while Amity summons her Abomination to attack while Kirby whacks with his hammer while Tarzan attacks with his spear and they defeat the Powerwilds and save the gorilla. After the gorilla leaves, the group leave the bamboo forest and head for the next area.
(Jungle; Cliff)
The group arrive at the cliff area, where they find more Powerwilds attacking another gorilla, but the group fight off the Heartless and save the gorllia and they leave again with going for the swamp, climbing trees, and the tree house and they fight off more Heartless and save more gorillas.
"That should be the last of them." Kibou said.
"Let's go back to Jane and tell her the gorillas are safe." Goofy said.
The group return to the tent and talk to Jane.
"The gorillas are safe, Jane." Sora said.
"That's good to hear, but I'm worried about Clayton." Jane said.
"After that stunt he pulled, I wouldn't be, but I guess we'll find him and see if he hasn't caused any more trouble." Amity said.
The group leave the tent, but they hear a noise.
"Is that Clayton?" Arthur asked.
"Let's go take a look." Donald said.
The group return to the bamboo forest, only to find Clayton's pipe on the stump.
"Was Clayton here?" Twilight asked.
Just then, something is flying across the forest and it's Sabor, who is on the ground, but not moving.
"Sabor?" Sora asked.
"Sabor, gone." Tarzan said.
"What?" Amity asked.
"Heh, that oversized cat was no match for me!" A voice said.
"Who's there?" Twilight asked.
"That voice..." Arthur said.
Coming out of the bamboo is a young man with orange hair, wearing a green tunic with a brown sleeveless vest, brown leather shoes, and carrying a quiver with packs of arrows on his back, as well as a sword and he turns to see the group.
"Huh? Oh, it's you lot. You're the ones, who's gonna be a pain." The young man said and sees Arthur. "Well, well, if it isn't little Wart! You have no idea how much I wanted to see you!" The young man said.
"Arthur, you know him?" Kibou asked.
"Yeah. That's Kay." Arthur said.
"And you two squirts are the Gembearer and Keybearer we gotta deal with? Pah! I wanted a nice challenge and that cat wasn't enough. Oh, well. Guess you'll be used for nice traget practice!" Kay said.
"Guys, look out!" Sora said.
Kay fires three arrows at the group, who dodge out of the way and Kibou delivers three slashes a Kay with his Gemblade followed by a spinning slash while Tarzan multi attacks with his spear. Kay retaliates with swinging with his sword followed by a sword slamming strike, only for Goofy to block the sword attack and then delivers a huge bash while Twilight shoots magic blasts from her horn, but Kay goes for the bamboo. Kay begins firing arrows at the group from the bamboo, but the group dodge while Kirby inhales an arrow, becoming Archer Kirby and Kay comes out from the bamboo to deliver sword slashes, only for Kirby to fire his own arrows while Donald casts Fire followed by casting Blizzard while Amity conjures a pink fire spell and shoots it at Kay, knocking him back. Kay takes out four arrows and fires them into the air and rains them down at the group, who dodge the raining arrows and Arthur tries to attack Kay with his sword, only for Kay to grab Arthur by the throat and pins him to the ground, but Sora quickly uses Sonic Blade to strike at Kay all over many times and delivers the final dashing strike, knocking Kay back.
"You're really startin' to irritate me." Kay said.
"Back at ya, jerk!" Kibou said.
"Time to stop fooling around!" Kay said.
"Kay!" A voice called and Gideon appears from a dark portal. "Thought I'd find you here! I suppose it makes sense for a simpleton to be in a world like this." Gideon.
"Ugh, you again, squirt?! I'm dealing with Wart and his pathetic friends." Kay said.
"You're wanted back at the castle! Dr. Facilier has a mission for us. So, get your behind over there, ya mouth-breathin fool!" Gideon yelled.
"Argh! I could squash ya right now if I wanted to, you little cockroach!" Kay yelled.
"And I can buy and sell ya, ya knuckledragger!" Gideon yelled.
"You irritate me, Gideon! Fine, if that's what the Doc wants. I'll be on my way." Kay said and turns to Arthur. "It's no surprise you're a joke in combat, Wart! You can never hold a candle to me! My advice, stay outta my way or you're in for a nice punishment from your big brother!" Kay said.
"See y'all later! Oh, and just like what that peabrain said, stay out of our business!" Gideon said, leaving in his dark portal.
"So first, we got the brat and now we're dealing with a brute?" Amity asked.
"And did he just say he's your brother, Arthur?" Goofy asked.
"Y-Yeah... I just can't believe I'm seeing him again..." Arthur said.
"Clayton doesn't seem to be around here. Let's keep checking." Sora said.
Meanwhile, the blue gorilla runs through the campsite and enters the tent and lands on Jane.
"Terk, what's the matter?" Jane asked, but something enters the tent, making Jane horrified.
The group return to the tent, but they find Jane gone.
"Where's Jane?" Twilight asked.
"Tarzan, what's wrong?" Goofy asked.
"Jane taken. Jane Gone." Tarzan said.
"That's not a good sign." Amity said.
"We gotta find her." Sora said.
The group leave the tent and find footprints on the ground, so they follow the footprints, leading them to the hippo lagoon and the footprints lead them back to the vines and they climb up the vines, taking them to the climbing trees.
"Where's Jane?" Arthur asked.
"Tarzan!" A voice cried and they see Jane and Terk trapped behind vines.
"Hang on, Jane! We'll get you out." Kibou said, but then, Powerwilds appear.
"Ugh, move it!" Sora said, attacking the Heartless, but more appear.
"Where are they comin' from?" Goofy asked.
Kirby then sees a giant black fruit.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"This might seem crazy, but that fruit might be the source." Kibou said.
"That does make sense, considering we never saw it." Twilight said.
"Let's give it a good strike." Donald said.
"Sora, we'll handle the fruit. Donald, Goofy, Twi, Artie, Amity, Kirby, Tarzan, handle the Heartless." Kibou said.
Kibou and Sora begin attacking the black fruit with their weapons while the rest handle the Powerwilds and Kibou and Sora keep attacking the fruit and later, the black fruit is gone and the Powerwilds disappear.
The group go to Jane, who explains everything.
"Then Clayton came to the tent and that's the last thing I remember." Jane finished explaining.
"Clayton?!" Sora asked shocked.
"I knew he'd be up to no good!" Kibou said.
"Gorillas trapped. Terk ran." Tarzan said.
"We gotta save the gorillas!" Twilight said.
"I agree. We need to find Clayton and now." Amity said.
The group leave the climbing trees to find Clayton and they find more footprints on the ground, leading them through the campsite and they go through the bamboo forest and then go for the cliff.
At the cliff, the gorillas are surrounded by Powerwilds and Claytom readies his rifle, but as the gorillas run away, the brown gorilla stays while Clayton aims at her, as the Powerwilds leap at Kerchak while Clayton is about to pull the trigger.
"STOP!" Kibou shouted.
"NO!" Sora shouted, making Clayton turn to the group.
"What's your deal now, Clayton?" Kibou asked.
"Not Clayton!" Tarzan said, making the same gorilla sounds. "Not Clayton!" Tarzan repeated.
"We have to stop him." Arthur said.
Clayton prepares to fire his rifle at the group, but Kibou slashes at Clayton with his Gemblade followed by a somersault slash while Sora uses Sonic Blade while Tarzan attacks with his spear while Twilight casts her magenta flame from her tome. Donald casts Blizzard while Goofy bashes with his shield while Kirby whacks with his hammer while Amity summons her Abomination to attack with a hammer while Arthur triple slashes with his sword and after enough attacks, they knock Clayton back.
Clayton prepares to fire, but then the rock wall behind him breaks apart, making Tarzan rush to stop Clayton, but something knocks him back.
"Tarzan!" Kibou and Sora said and they see Clayton floating in midair and readying his rifle.
(Boss Theme: Squirming Evil)
Clayton fires his rifle at the group, who dodge and Kibou attacks with his Gemblade followed by casting Blaze while Tarzan multi strikes with his spear, but something charges at the group to attack. Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade followed by a big swing while Goofy uses Rocket, but Clayton fires at the group with his rifle again, but Donald casts Thunder while Arthur throws his shield. Something rams into the group, but Twilight shoots magical orbs from her tome while Kirby multi jabs followed by a hammer spinning strike while Amity uses her Abomination to deliver punches followed by a hammer fist strike and after enough attacks, something appears and it's a giant Heartless that looks like a chameleon with green camouflage.
"So it IS a Heartless!" Donald said.
"We need to take it down along with Clayton!" Amity said.
The Heartless known as Stealth Sneak claps its hands together, conjuring green energy and unleashes it, but Sora aerial slashes at Stealth Sneak with his Keyblade while Tarzan multi attacks with his spear. Clayton fires at the group with his rifle while Stealth Sneak delivers a dancing like kick attack, but Arthur spin slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash while Donald casts Fire while Amity shoots three pink fireballs. Stealth Sneak rams at the group, who dodge and Goofy throws his shield while Twilight casts Thunder down at both Clayton and Stealth Sneak while Kirby multi jumps and multi strikes with his feet, but Stealth Sneak lights its eyes and fires beams of light three times. Kibou aerial slashes at Stealth Sneak with his Gemblade followed by casting Blizzard and after enough attacks, they stun Stealth Sneak, allowing both Kibou and Sora to knock Clayton right off the giant Heartless.
"Now we have to handle them both." Twilight said.
"Sora and I can handle Clayton. You guys handle that Heartless!" Kibou said.
Stealth Sneak conjures green energy to attack the group, who dodge and Twilight unleashes magical orbs from her tome while Goofy uses Charge , but Stealth Sneak dance kicks to attack, only for Arthur to use Sky Dance and aerial slashes while Donald casts Blizzard while Amity summons an Abomination fist to deliver an uppercut. Clayton fires his rifle, only for Sora to use Sonic Blade and dashes all over many times while Kibou casts both Blaze and Fire, but Stealth Sneak lights its eyes and fires light rays from its eyes. Tarzan attacks with his spear while Donald casts Thunder while Kirby inhales one of Stealth Sneak's light rays and spits it back out to strike at the Heartless while Twilight shoots three magic blasts, but Clayton fires his rifle again, only for Kibou to triple slash with his Gemblade followed by an upper slash while Sora vertical slashes with his Keyblade. Stealth Sneak conjures more green energy at the group, but Kirby inhales the green energy and sends them back at Stealth Sneak while Goofy bashes with his shield while Arthur double slashes with his sword, but Stealth Sneak rams at the group, only for Twilight to cast Blizzard to stop it, allowing Donald and Amity to summon their fire magic to attack. Stealth Sneak lights its eyes to attack at the group again, but Kibou charges at the Heartless, leaps into the air, and then delivers a stab on the Heartless' head, knocking it out.
"That Heartless annoyed me." Kibou said.
"Now to get Clayton." Donald said.
Clayton tries to use his potion to heal himself, but Tarzan stops him with his spear while Goofy uses Charge to knock Clayton back, but Clayton fires his rifle, only for Twilight to cast her magic barrier to defend the group and then uses earth magic to make rocks rise up from the ground, sending Clayton upward. Donald casts Thunder, bringing Clayton down, as Amity summons an Abomination hand to grab Clayton and slams him to the ground, but Clayton tries to heal himself again, only for Sora to deliver a blade stand kick and then triple slashes with his Keyblade while Kibou diagonal slashes with his Gemblade followed by a somersault slash. Clayton fires from his rifle, but Arthur blocks with his shield and uses Sword Thrust while Kirby delivers a flipping attack with his hammer while Tarzan multi strikes with his spear, but Clayton tries to get away and tries to fire his rifle again. Donald casts Blizzard while Arthur delivers a big swing with his sword, but Clayton tries to fire again, only for Amity to use her magic to destroy the rifle completely and then uses her Abomination to deliver a big punch, sending Clayton to Twilight, who uses her magic to levitate the hunter and slams him to the ground, but Clayton tries to heal himself. Sora quickly uses Sonic Blade and dashes all over, getting Clayton while Kibou horizontal slashes with his Gemblade followed by a fast spinning slash and they manage to finish off Clayton.
"This can't be happening..." Clayton said.
Clayton stumbles back and just then, Stealth Sneak shakes uncontrollablly and falls on Clayton.
"Crushed by his own Heartless. How sad." Kibou said, as a giant heart leaves Stealth Sneak and disappears.
"Glad that's over." Twilight said.
Just then, the brown gorilla arrives and gives Kibou and Sora a Cure spell and then Kerchak arrives, grabs Kibou and Sora, and then tosses them to the upper part of the cliff and does the same to Donald, Goofy, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby while Twilight flies her way up to the cliff. Tarzan climbs up and watchs Kerchak and the other gorillas leave the cliff, as the group watch the waterfalls.
"Tarzan home." Tarzan said, going for a cave.
"Where's he goin'?" Goofy asked.
The group follow Tarzan into the cave.
(Waterfall Cavern)
The group enter a waterfall cave and follow Tarzan climbing up the cave, so they follow him up and they see him going for another cave and follow him into the next cave.
(Cavern of Heart)
The group enter a different cave and they find Tarzan with a tree full of butterflies and Jane and Terk join them.
"So, this is your home." Kibou said.
"But that means..." Sora was cut off by a sound.
"Huh?" Goofy asked.
"What's that?" Amity asked.
"The waterfalls. They're echoing all the way here." Jane said.
"Friends there. See friends." Tarzan said.
"Oh, now I know what that gorilla sound means. It means 'heart'. Friends in our hearts." Jane said.
"Heart." Tarzan said.
"That's what it meant." Sora said.
"Friends, same heart. Clayton, lose heart. No heart, no see friends. No heart, no friends." Tarzan said.
"Donald, sorry about what I said." Sora said.
"I'm sorry for being selfish." Donald said.
"I should also apologize for calling you two out." Kibou said.
"It's nice to see you finally getting along." Amity said.
"This is a nice lesson of friendship." Twilight said.
"All for one, huh?" Goofy said.
"I guess, we really are friends, but..." Arthur was cut off by something.
The butterflies start flying away and reveal another keyhole, just like Wonderland and Sora's Keyblade unleashes a beam and locks the keyhole and just then, a Gummi piece falls off.
"A Gummi." Donald said.
"But it's not the King's." Goofy said.
Just then, something appears and it's a green heart.
"Another heart?" Kibou asked and the green heart flies into the Gemblade.
"I wonder what that means." Amity said.
"Guess I'll find out soon." Kibou said.
Terk nudges her head at Donald.
"I think someone has a new admirer." Jane said.
"No, no, no! Daisy would kill me!" Donald said and everyone laughs.
Meanwhile in the same dark chamber, the projection of the shuts off and Maleficent is with shadow figures.
"What drew the Heartless to that world?" One of the shadow figures asked and it's the calculating voice.
"The hunter lured them there. It was his lust for power that was the bait, but it seems the bait was too tasty for his own good." Maleficent said.
"Yeah! He got CHOMPED instead!" The cocky shadow figure said.
"What an utter simpleton, just like Kay." Gideon said.
"Watch it, you little snot!" Kay yelled.
"Hmph! A weak-hearted fool like him stood no chance against the Heartless." The calculating shadow figure said, revealing to be a thin man with a twisted goatee, wearing black robe with red long sleeves, black turban with a red feather, black cape, and carrying a staff with a cobra head. "But the boy with the key is a problem. He found one of the Keyholes. Not only that, but the boy with the gem has found two Faerie Hearts." The man said.
"Fear not, Jafar. It will take ages to find the rest. Besides, they remain blissfully unaware of our other plan." Maleficent said.
"Yes, the Princesses." Jafar said.
"As well as the Harbinger of Hope and the Harbinger of Despair." A voice said and it's the Dr.
"The Princesses are falling into our hands, one by one." Maleficent said and just then, she sees someone pushed into the chamber and it's Alice. "Speaking of which..." Maleficent said.
Coming from behind Alice is the same masked boy from before.
"Bravo, Silver Knight! I knew you would find us a Princess." The Dr. said.
"Heh, it was easy. Nobody suspected anything." Silver Knight said and sees Kibou. "Kibou... I'm gonna enjoy tormenting you, then killing you." Silver Knight said, walking off.
"I wonder what's behind that mask." Jafar said.
"That's even a mystery to me." Maleficent said.
"We'll know soon enough. Right now, he's proving to be useful to us. Speaking of which, Gideon, Kay, your next mission is in Agrabah. There is a new ally in that world and she could be an excellent addition. Find her and recruit her." The Dr. said.
"Do I have to go with this mouth-breathin' knuckledragger? I can handle the mission myself." Gideon said.
"Why do I have to go with this pompus shrimp? For that matter, we do we need another ally? You already have me." Kay said.
"You have your orders and you will follow them." Maleficent said.
"Fine." Gideon and Kay said as they look from each other and then leave.
Meanwhile in Deep Jungle and in the tent, the group tell Jane they have to leave.
"Well, it's time to go." Twilight said.
"Where is your ship anyway?" Jane asked.
"Uh, not that far." Donald said.
"Sora, Kibou, Tarzan, friends." Tarzan said and Kibou and Sora smile.
"Yeah, we are friends." Kibou said.
The group leave the tent and go for the Gummi ship to leave Deep Jungle.
