Chapter 9: Return to Traverse Town
Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby return to the Gummi ship and in the ship, Kibou examines the green heart in his Gemblade, as well as the Gummi pieces.
"I'm not getting this. Why is it that those Gummi blocks fall out of those glowing holes whenever Sora locks them and how come they're different?" Kibou asked.
"And how're they used?" Sora asked.
"I dunno." Donald said.
"Not only that, but every time Sora's Keyblade locks up those holes, a heart shows up outta nowhere and then flies into my Gemblade and during our fight with Cerberus, that weird Faerie, Confusia, showed up and helped. How is this happening?" Kibou asked annoyed.
"Calm down, Kibou. Why don't we go get some answers?" Twilight suggested.
"Good idea, Twilight! Maybe Leon and Erza might know." Goofy said.
"They might." Donald said.
"So I guess it's back to Traverse Town." Arthur said.
"I call pilot!" Sora said.
"Forget it!" Donald yelled.
"But I'm the Keyblade master." Sora said.
"I don't care! The answer is NO!" Donald yelled.
"Will you two shut up?! Let's just get to Traverse Town already!" Kibou said.
"Seriously." Amity said.
The Gummi ship begins flying and after a long flight, they return to Traverse Town.
(Field Theme: Traverse Town)
(First District)
The group return to Traverse Town in the First District and while looking around, they find Gray and Yuffie standing near a mailbox.
"There're Yuffie and Gray." Twilight said.
"Let's go say hi." Sora said.
The group approach the two.
"Oh, you're back already?" Gray asked.
"How's your journey going?" Yuffie asked.
"Let's just say a lot has happened." Kibou said.
"Yeah, we fought many Heartless, found more friends, Amity and Kirby, and we found two keyholes and two different colored hearts, which flew into Kibou's Gemblade." Sora said, but Yuffie and Gray are shocked.
"Wait, did you say 'Keyholes'?" Yuffie asked.
"And you found two of them?" Gray asked.
"Yeah?" Sora answered.
"Kibou, can we see those hearts?" Gray asked and Kibou shows his Gemblade, which contains the pink and green hearts. "No way. Those are...Faerie Hearts. You managed to find them." Gray said.
"No way!" Yuffie said.
"You mind telling me what the hell a Faerie Heart is?" Kibou asked.
"Sora, you locked those Keyholes when you found 'em, right?" Yuffie asked, ignoring Kibou's question.
"Yeah. My Keyblade locked them and they disappeared." Sora said.
"Great!" Yuffie said, smiling.
"How's it great and what's a Faerie Heart?" Kibou asked.
"Find Erza and Leon. They'll tell you everything." Gray said.
"That's kinda why we're here. Do you know where they are?" Twilight asked.
"You can find them both at the underground cavern. Leon and Erza normally go there for training and sparring." Yuffie said.
"There's a channel in the alleyway at the Second District. It's connected to the cavern." Gray said.
"Okay, thanks." Kibou said.
The group leave the First District and go for the next area.
(Second District)
The group arrive at the Second District and find a door, leading them somewhere else.
(Alleyway)
The group are now in an alleyway and make their way for the channel, but they find a giant grate blocking their path.
"You've got to be kidding." Donald said.
"Now what?" Arthur asked.
"I think I have an idea." Amity said, smirking.
"I don't think I like that smirk." Sora said.
Amity looks at Donald while still smirking.
"What're you lookin' at?" Donald asked, but Amity grabs the duck by his neck. "Hey, what're you doing, Amity?! Put me down!" Donald yelled, but Amity charges the duck straight for the grate while crashing his head against it and later, the grate is destroyed.
"It's really nice to know your head's actually useful for something, Donald." Amity said, dropping Donald, who has stars above his head.
"Ouch..." Arthur said, covering his face.
"Poyo..." Kirby said, also covering his face.
"That was a little much." Twilight said.
"Well, least the bars are down." Kibou said.
Donald later wakes up.
"What's the big idea?!" Donald demanded, jumping up and down.
"It's called teamwork. Look it up." Amity said.
"Now we can get in." Sora said, as they go into the channel.
(Secret Cavern)
The group are in the cavern full of water and they begin swimming through and later, they find Leon and Erza sparring against each other while Lucy and Aerith are watching.
"Hey." Sora said.
"Oh, you're back." Lucy said.
"Is everything going okay for your journey?" Aerith asked.
"Yeah, we had some ups and downs, but we're fine." Twilight said.
Erza and Leon stop their sparring and see the group.
"Welcome back. How fares your quest?" Erza asked.
"It's fine. We came to ask you two something." Sora said.
"Really? Well, shoot." Leon said.
"In Wonderland and in a jungle, I found and locked up something with my Keyblade." Sora said.
"So, you found two Keyholes? That's great." Leon said.
"Very well done, Sora. Which means your work is halfway complete." Erza said.
"Why's that a big deal?" Sora asked.
"Every world among the stars has a Keyhole and each one leads to the heart of that world. There should be one in this town too." Leon said.
"So, hypothetically, what would happen if the Keyholes aren't sealed?" Twilight asked.
"This was written in Ansem's report." Aerith said.
"Relius also wrote about the Keyholes." Lucy said.
"The Heartless enter through the Keyhole and do something to the world's core." Leon said.
"And what happens after that...?" Arthur asked, nervous.
"In the end, the world disappears." Erza said, shocking everyone.
"No way..." Amity said.
"Poyo..." Kirby said, both scared and sad.
"No wonder what happened to Equestria. The Heartless destroyed it..." Twilight said, sadly.
"Camelot... It's gone..." Arthur said, as he begins crying.
"The Boiling Isles... My family... Willow... Luz..." Amity said, sadly.
"Poyo..." Kirby said, sadly.
"So, now you know why it's important to seal the Keyholes." Aerith said.
"You gotta seal them with your Keyblade, Sora." Lucy said.
"So, what about me? After Sora locked those Keyholes, strange hearts appear outta nowhere and fly into my Gemblade and not only that, when we were in Olympus and fighting Cerberus, a Faerie appeared and helped me." Kibou said.
"You must be talking about Faerie Hearts and you found two of them?" Erza asked.
"Yeah." Kibou said, showing his Gemblade that contain the pink and green hearts.
"Erza, those ARE Faerie Hearts!" Lucy said.
"As I thought. Well done, Kibou." Erza said.
"So, what's the big deal?" Kibou asked.
"Faeries are very unique and powerful creatures, who have lived more than we have. Years ago, Faeries of different elements have lived in harmony and were, in fact, the ones, who forged the Gemblades. As their creators, the Faeries are able to be summoned or can power those Gemblades with their magic, making the Gemblade just as powerful." Erza explained.
"So, this Gemblade was made by Faeries?" Kibou asked.
"Indeed." Erza said.
"But what happened to those Faeries?" Donald asked.
"Ten years ago, a very dark and vile being opposed the Faeries and wanted the power and magic for himself. That dark being transformed those Faeries into tiny hearts and scattered them away to other worlds while reducing their world to darkness while the Gemblades disappeared, searching for new masters to be used by. That's where you come in, Kibou. I don't know if it's fate or luck, but you were chosen for a reason. Since they appear after Sora locks a Keyhole, they must have been sealed into the Keyholes in the different worlds they were sent to." Lucy said.
"Your new reason is to find the remaining Faerie Hearts and save them as Faeries. The more you find, the stronger your Gemblade will become and that will help you counter any foe." Erza said.
"That's a lot to take in. I'm not sure if I can find 'em all." Kibou said.
"And I dunno about finding other Keyholes..." Sora said.
"Seeing other worlds will serve you well." Leon said.
"Yeah!" Donald said.
"We also gotta find your friends, our friends, Princess Celestia, and King Mickey." Twilight said.
"Ugh, I hate it when you guys are right." Kibou said.
"Okay, we'll do it." Sora said.
"Anything else?" Leon asked.
"Oh, yeah! This Gummi block's different from the others. You know what it's for?" Sora asked, but Leon facepalms.
"Cid should know." Aerith said.
"Okay, we'll ask him." Kibou said.
"Wait, take this with you." Erza said, giving Sora a mysterious stone. "This stone holds a mysterious power. Leon gave this to me for luck, you deserve it more." Erza said.
"Thanks, Erza, but how do you use it?" Sora asked, but Leon crosses his arms in annoyance, making Erza punch him.
"Forgive Leon's rudeness. Unfortunately, I don't know how it works." Erza said.
"I guess we'll find out ourselves." Twilight said.
The group leave the cavern and return to the First District and go for the shop.
(Accessory Shop)
The group enter the shop to find Cid.
"Howdy, what can I do fer ya?" Cid asked.
"We have something that might interest you." Arthur said, as they show him a Gummi block.
"Well, I'll be. If it ain't a Gummi block. It's a Navigation Gummi." Cid said.
"That's right." Sora said.
"Do ya know what it's for?" Goofy asked.
"Yer kiddin'? You're flyin' a Gummi ship and know nuttin' 'bout Navigation Gummis? Bunch of pinheads. Interspace ain't no playground." Cid said, but Amity grabs the man's shirt.
"Listen to me, you old fart! There's a lot we don't know, but who cares?! We need the Gummi ship to travel to different worlds! We don't have a choice!" Amity yelled.
"Amity, calm down." Kibou said, managing to pull Amity off.
"Geez, this gal's not to be messed with. Anyway, sorry 'bout that. I didn't know. No hard feelings. I'll lend y'all a hand." Cid said.
"Thank you and I'm sorry for yelling. Think before you talk next time." Amity said.
"Anyway, with Navigation Gummis, you can go new places. You'll want one on your ship. I'll install it fer ya." Cid said.
"Thanks." Sora said.
"First, I gotta deliver somethin'." Cid said.
"What?" Kibou asked.
"Just a book. It's real old. When the old guy brought it in, it was fallin' apart. It's too beat up to restore the way it was, but I did a good job of puttin' it back together." Cid said.
"I see." Twilight said.
"You mind deliverin' this book fer me?" Cid asked.
"Sure, but where?" Donald asked.
"There's an old house past the Third District. Look for a big fire sign." Cid said, giving them the book.
Just then, a ringing is heard.
"What's that?" Arthur asked.
"The bell in the gizmo shop just rang. Ya can check it out if ya want, but deliver that book first. When yer done, meet me at the house in the Third District." Cid said.
"Okay, see you there." Sora said.
The group make their way for the Third District.
(Third District)
The group arrive at the Third District to find the old house, but then, Air Soldiers appear and attack, but Kibou slashes with his Gemblade while Sora slashes with his Keyblade while Donald casts Thunder while Goofy uses Rocket while Twilight unleashes magical blasts while Arthur uses Sky Dance while Amity summons an Abomination fist to deliver an uppercut while Kirby inhales an Air Soldier and becomes Air Soldier Kirby and fly kicks and they defeat the Heartless. The group continue through the Third District and they later find a door with a fire sign.
"This must be the fire sign." Kibou said.
Kibou, Sora, Donald, and Twilight cast Fire at the door, making it open and they go through.
(Old House)
The group arrive in a cavern and they find an old house surrounded by water and there's a bridge of stepping stones, so they cross the stepping stones and reach the house, but the door is blocked by wood, but they find a hole and enter the house.
The group enter the house, only to find it dark and empty.
"This place is empty and musty." Amity said.
"This place kinda looks familiar..." Arthur said.
"There's something about this musty place." A voice said, making Sora turn to see Kairi. "It reminds me of the secret cave back home, where we used to scribble on the walls. Remember?" Kairi asked.
"Kairi...?" Sora asked.
"This place kinda rings a bell to me." A said, making Kibou turn to see Eliot. "It reminds of the cave outside the village, where we found that door. Don't you remember, Kibou?" Eliot asked.
"El...?" Kibou asked.
"Kibou? Sora? Who are you two talking to?" Amity asked.
Kibou and Sora turn to see the group, but as they turn back, Eliot and Kairi are gone.
"El...?" Kibou asked.
"Kairi...?" Sora asked.
"Why did Cid have us deliver this old book in a place like this?" Donald asked.
"Well, well." A voice said and they turn to see an old man with white hair and long beard, wearing a blue robe, blue hat, and carrying a bag and wand. "You've arrived sooner than expected." The old man said.
"Wait, you knew we were coming?" Amity asked.
"Of course!" The old man answered.
"You're...not a Heartless, are you?" Sora asked.
"He doesn't look like one." Kibou said.
"Wait, Uncle Merlin!" Arthur cheered.
"Oh, Arthur! There you are, my lad! I was worried sick about you." Merlin said.
"Artie, you know him?" Kibou asked.
"And he's your uncle?" Sora asked.
"Oh, well, not exactly. Uncle Merlin is my tutor back home. He's taught me lots of stuff." Arthur said.
"Yes, indeed. I am also a powerful wizard. I spent too much time traveling. It's good to be home and I'm glad to see you well, Arthur." Merlin said.
"So, you live here?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, dear. King Mickey and Princess Celestia requested my help." Merlin said.
"You know the Princess?!" Twilight asked shocked.
"You know the King?!" Donald asked shocked.
"Yes, yes. You must be Twilight Sparkle, Donald, and Goofy." Merlin said and turns to see Kibou and Sora. "Who might you lads be?" Merlin asked.
"I'm Sora." Sora introduced.
"And I'm Kibou." Kibou introduced.
"My word, you look like Nozomi." Merlin said.
"Okay, who the hell is Nozomi?! I keep hearing his name and I don't know him!" Kibou said.
"Ten years ago, I met him and Akira and Nozomi looks a lot like you. Anyway, it seems you've found the gem and the key and I can't believe you're with them, Arthur." Merlin said.
"So, what did King Mickey asked you to do?" Donald asked.
"And what about Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"Just a moment." Merlin said, opening his bag and waves his wand. "Presto!" Merlin said, as many items fly out of the bag and begin decorating the house and later, the whole house is full of furniture, potions, and books.
"Wow!" Amity said amazed.
"That's some magic." Twilight said.
"Uncle Merlin IS a very powerful wizard." Arthur said.
"Now then. Ahem, King Mickey and Princess Celestia have asked me to help train you in the arts of magic. We can start anytime you like. Oh, and one more thing." Merlin said, showing a small pumpkin carriage, which transforms into an older woman in blue robes with a pink bow and a hood.
"Hello, dearies. I am Fairy Godmother. King Mickey and Princess Celestia have asked me to help too." Fairy Godmother said.
"I don't know how much help I can be, but do stop by anytime." Merlin said.
"We actually have something for you, Merlin." Twilight said, giving him the book.
"Oh, the book!" Merlin said.
"Yeah, Cid asked us to give it to you." Arthur said.
"Thank you kindly." Merlin said, taking the book.
"Just what kind of book is that?" Amity asked.
"I'm afraid I don't know myself. It's not really mine. I somehow found it in my bag. It was such a curious book, so I asked Cid to repair it for me. This book holds a great secret." Merlin said, setting the book on a desk. "Some of the pages are still missing, but they can be found in different worlds. My best regards to Cid for repairing it." Merlin said.
"Um, Merlin, do you know anything about this?" Sora asked, showing the stone.
"Hmm, I'm not quite sure. Maybe you should ask Fairy Godmother." Merlin said.
The group go to Fairy Godmother.
"Excuse me, do you know something about this?" Sora asked.
"Oh, dear! The poor thing was turned into a Summon Gem." Fairy Godmother said.
"Summon Gem?" Kibou asked.
"When the Heartless enter the Keyhole, the world disappears." Fairy Godmother said.
"We know that." Donald said.
"But when a world disappears, so does its inhabitants, but this one was able to survive because he had such a strong heart, but was transformed into this stone." Fairy Godmother said.
"Can he regain himself?" Sora asked.
"Yes, but only in spirit. Now watch. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" Fairy Godmother chanted, as the gem transforms into a lion with a red mane.
(Obtained Summon: Simba)
"Whoa!" Kibou said.
"Hello. My name is Simba. I'll help how I can." Simba said, disappearing.
"When you call him, he will appear to help you." Fairy Godmother said.
"There should be more Summon Gems in other worlds." Twilight said.
"Yes and once their worlds are restored, they'll be brought back. Please help them." Fairy Godmother said.
"We will." Sora said.
"I guess that's about it here." Kibou said.
"We better get going, Uncle Merlin." Arthur said.
"Best of luck, everyone." Merlin said, as they start to move, but Arthur stays. "Is something troubling you, Arthur?" Merlin asked.
"Uncle Merlin, I had a dream, where our world was gone, but then, I was talking to a triangle creature. He was telling me that I'm a weak link and my friends will abandon me." Arthur said.
"Hmm, that is something unheard of, but don't despair yourself. I'm certain you play a good role during your journey. Never doubt yourself." Merlin said.
"Uncle Merlin..." Arthur said.
"Trust me, Arthur, they need you just as you need them. They have faith in you and so do I." Merlin said.
"Thank you." Arthur said, leaving the house.
The group leave Merlin's house and return to the Third District, but as they keep going, Shadows appear and the group prepare to fight, only for two people to attack with swords, destroying the Shadows and both Kibou and Sora are shocked to see who they are.
"There you are, Sora. What's going on?" One of the people said and it's Riku.
"About time I found you, Kibou! You were a pain to find." The second person said and it's Tsubaki.
"Riku!" Sora said, as he touches Riku's face to make sure he's real.
"Hey, hey, cut it out." Riku said, waving Sora off him.
"Tsu!" Kibou said, touching Tsubaki, who shoves him off.
"Don't touch me again!" Tsubaki said.
"I'm not dreaming this time, right?" Sora asked.
"Hope not. It took forever to find you." Riku said.
"Riku!" Sora said, smiling.
"Tell me this isn't a dream." Kibou said.
"Believe me, if it was, I wouldn't be here, now would I?" Tsubaki said.
"That's you alright, Tsu!" Kibou said, grinning.
"Hey, wait, where's Kairi?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, and where're Celica and Eliot?" Kibou asked.
"Isn't Kairi with you?" Riku asked, but Sora doesn't answer.
"I figured you found them already, but obviously, I don't see them." Tsubaki said.
"Hey, don't worry. I'm sure Kairi made it off the island too." Riku said.
"Yeah and Celica and Eliot must have gotten out of the village okay." Tsubaki said.
"We're finally free and hey, they might be looking for us now." Riku said, as a Shadow appears. "We'll all be together again soon. Don't worry. Just leave everything to me and Tsu. We know this..." Riku was cut off, as he and Tsubaki turn to see Kibou carrying his Gemblade while Sora carries his Keyblade.
"Leave it to who?" Sora asked, holding his Keyblade behind his head.
"Yeah, we're not exactly helpless." Kibou said, grinning.
"Huh? When did...?" Tsubaki stops talking.
"We've been looking for you guys along with Kairi, Celica, and Eliot with their help." Sora said, showing Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby.
"Who are they?" Riku asked.
"They're Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby. We've traveled to many places and worlds to find you guys." Kibou said.
"Really? I never would've guessed." Riku said.
"Oh, and guess what? Sora's the Keyblade master." Goofy said.
"And Kibou's the Gemblade master." Twilight said.
"Who would've thought it?" Donald asked.
"Donald, shut up." Amity said.
"So, this is the Keyblade?" Riku asked, holding Sora's Keyblade.
"Huh? How did...?" Sora asked, as he goes for Riku, who backs off.
"Catch." Riku said, throwing the Keyblade to Sora, who catches it.
"Kibou, lemme see that Gemblade." Tsubaki said.
"Oh, okay, but no stealing." Kibou said, showing the Gemblade.
"Wow, so it IS real... Never thought something like this would exist." Tsubaki said.
"So, you guys coming with us?" Kibou asked.
"We got this awesome rocket. Wait 'til you guys see it." Sora said.
"Uh, guys, can I talk to you?" Donald asked.
"What now?" Kibou asked.
"I don't think it's a good idea." Donald said.
"Are you serious, Donald? What's your problem?" Sora asked.
"Look, I'm not against it. I just have a bad feeling." Donald said.
"Aw, c'mon. Riku's my friend." Sora said.
"Yeah and we don't see eye-to-eye, but Tsu's my friend." Kibou said.
"I know, but..." Donald stops talking.
"Uh, they're gone." Goofy said.
"Huh?" Sora asked, as he and Kibou see Riku and Tsubaki are gone. "Riku?" Sora asked.
"Tsu? Thanks a lot, Donald." Kibou said annoyed.
"Hey, just be glad they're okay." Twilight said.
"Yeah, you're right. Who knows, maybe we'll run into Kairi, Celica, and Eliot too." Sora said.
"I hope so." Kibou said.
"In the meantime, we should meet Cid over at some house." Amity said.
Unknowing to them, Silver Knight watches them from a roof.
The group find a house and enter it.
(Small House)
The group enter the house and they find Leon, Erza, Yuffie, Gray, Aerith, Lucy, Cid, and Meliodas.
"Hey, you're here." Meliodas said.
"This will be our secret place from now on." Yuffie said.
"That's cool." Kibou said.
"We delivered the book." Donald said.
"Great and it went well?" Cid asked.
"Yeah, why?" Sora asked.
"Well, ever heard of Maleficent or Dr. Facilier?" Cid asked.
"Uh, no?" Kibou answered.
"I hear they're both in town right now." Meliodas said.
"Who're Maleficent and Dr. Facilier?" Twilight asked.
"Maleficent's a witch!" Cid said.
"A horrible witch!" Lucy said.
"Dr. Facilier is a voodoo man with dark magic. Many call him the Shadow Man." Leon said.
"They're both the reason this town's full of Heartless." Gray said.
"Don't take either of them lightly. They're both vile scums." Erza said.
"They've been using the Heartless for years." Aerith said.
"We've all lost our worlds, thanks to them." Meliodas said, clenching his fist.
"What happened?" Kibou asked.
"Nine years ago, a swarm of Heartless invaded our homeworld and I had to get outta that mess and went with these guys." Cid said.
"Not too long ago, my world was overrun with Heartless, thanks to Facilier. My friends, the Deadly Sins, we've tried everything we could to defend Liones as much as we could, but..." Meliodas stops talking.
"Our world met the same fate. Facilier and Maleficent arrived at our guild, Fairy Tail and attacked it along with a swarm of Heartless." Lucy said.
"We've tried our very best to defend our guild and our home, but they were formidable and we lost our comrades, including our master." Erza said.
"Maleficent and Facilier found our world's Keyhole and destroyed our world." Gray said.
"That's awful!" Donald said.
"I can't believe this..." Amity said.
"Our ruler was a wise man named Ansem, who dedicated his life to studying the Heartless." Leon said.
"There was once a scholar named Relius, who also dedicated his life to studying the Heartless, Keyblades, Gemblades, Faeries, and Keyholes." Erza said.
"They both wrote their own reports." Gray said.
"Where are the reports?" Sora asked.
"No one knows. They were scattered when our world was destroyed." Aerith said.
"I bet Maleficent and Facilier have some of those pages." Cid said.
Outside the house, Riku and Tsubaki are watching the group and with them is Maleficent.
"You see, it's just as I told you two. While you both toiled away trying to find your dear friends, they quite simply replaced you with some new companions. Evidently, now they value them far more than they do you both." Maleficent said, as they watch Kibou and Sora talking to Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby. "You're both better off without those wretched boys. Now, think no more of them and come with me. I'll help you two find what you're searching for." Maleficent said.
"You and Facilier better be right about this, Maleficent." Tsubaki said, as she watches Kibou.
Meanwhile on the roof of a building, Silver Knight keeps watching Kibou and someone arrives and it's Dr. Facilier.
"So, tell me, Silver Knight, what do you make of Kibou?" Dr. Facilier asked.
"Tch, it's obvious. He ain't gonna cut it. Someone needs to break this loser." Silver Knight said.
"Just make sure it's not too rough. He could still be of some use." Dr. Facilier said.
"Whatever. To me, he's nothing more than an obstacle. He just needs a nice lesson to learn." Silver Knight said.
In the house, the group are talking to Cid.
"Well, I installed that Navigation Gummi on yer ship and if you find another one like it, bring it to me. By the way, I installed a Warp Drive for the heck of it." Cid said.
"Warp Drive?" Kibou asked.
"Yep. With it, you can travel to worlds you already visited quicker. Well, time to get back to my real job." Cid said.
"What real job?" Sora asked.
"You'll see. Meet me at the First District." Cid said.
Just then, another bell ring is heard.
"That's the bell from the gizmo shop." Lucy said.
"Ya know, I heard something will happen once the bell rings three times." Yuffie said.
"But it's boarded up, so nobody can get to it." Lucy said.
"You should go check it out." Cid said.
"Okay, maybe it'll be something useful." Kibou said, as they begin to leave, but Kibou remembers something. "Oh, yeah! I almost forgot. You guys know Cloud and Natsu?" Kibou asked.
"Cloud?!" Aerith asked shocked.
"Yeah, we know him." Yuffie said.
"And we know Natsu! Is he okay?!" Lucy asked.
"They're fine. We actually met them at the Coliseum." Sora said.
"You did? Well, it's good to know they're okay. Natsu was with us while our world was ending, but he vanished without a trace." Erza said.
"Least there's good news for Flamebrain. He's such an idiot." Gray said.
"Do you know where they are now?" Aerith asked.
"They're both fighting their darkness right now. Lucy, Natsu said he'll see you soon." Kibou said.
"Natsu..." Lucy said.
"We'll look forward to seeing them again." Aerith said.
"C'mon, let's head to that there gizmo shop." Goofy said.
The group leave the house and return to the Second District and go into the gizmo shop.
(Gizmo Shop)
The group arrive inside the gizmo shop and it's full of gears and clocks, but many Heartless appear and attack, but Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby defeat them and continue through the gizmo shop and find a door. The group are now outside, where they find a ladder and they climb up and reach the top of the building and find a bell tower blocked by wood.
"It's blocked. Now what?" Arthur asked.
Amity turns to Donald with a smirk.
"Oh, no! Not again!" Donald yelled.
"I think I have a better idea. Let's ram it ourselves." Twilight said.
The eight ram themselves into the wood and they destroy it, opening the way for the bell.
"So, we just gotta ring that bell three times?" Sora asked.
"Yep. Let's do it!" Kibou said.
Sora rings the bell first, making a mural on a fountain change and Kibou rings the bell second, making the mural change again and Kibou and Sora nod and ring the bell the third time, making the mural change for the final time, revealing a Keyhole.
"The Keyhole!" Twilight said.
"Sora, you gotta seal it quick." Kibou said.
"Yeah." Sora said.
The group head for the Keyhole, but then, something crashes down and it's Guard Armor again.
"Not that Heartless again!" Donald said.
"We gotta beat it again and seal that Keyhole." Kibou said.
(Boss Theme: Shrouding Dark Cloud)
Guard Armor spin attacks with its arms, but Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade while Sora triple slashes with his Keyblade, but Guard Armor slams itself to the ground and it's motionless and Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, and Kirby attack, but after enough attacks, Guard Armor is not moving.
"Wasn't that TOO easy?" Twilight asked.
"You're right, Twi. Something's off." Sora said.
Guard Armor gets back up and then, its hands touch the ground, becoming feet while its feet become hands while the torso flips over and its helmet opens, revealing yellow eyes.
"It changed shape." Goofy said.
"So, what? The results won't change." Amity said.
"Yeah, we can beat the crap outta this thing!" Kibou said.
(Boss Theme: Destiny's Force)
The new Heartless known as Opposite Armor attacks the group with its new hands and feet, but they dodge and Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade followed by casting Thunder while Sora slashes the hands and feet with his Keyblade, but Opposite Armor delivers a windmill spin attack with its hands. Twilight uses her magic to levitate the hands and slams them to the ground, but Opposite Armor delivers a flipping strike with its feet, but Arthur delivers a spinning slash with his sword while Goofy uses Tornado while Kirby uses Final Cutter. Opposite Armor attacks with its helmet and then transforms into a cannon and fires energy balls, but Donald casts Fire while Amity uses her Abomination to create two hammers and slams them while Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade followed by an aerial spin strike, but Opposite Armor sends its hands and feet to strike. Kibou casts Blaze at the hands and feet while Twilight sends magical blasts from her horn while Kirby delivers a spinning strike with his hammer, but Opposite Armor delivers its windmill style strike with its hands, only for Goofy to use Rocket while Arthur uses Sky Dance while Donald casts Thunder, but Opposite Armor delivers a flipping strike with its feet, only for Sora to use Sonic Blade at the hands and feet while Amity fires two pink fireballs, but Opposite Armor keeps attacking with its hands and feet.
"Ugh, this Heartless is ANNOYING!" Kibou yelled.
"I know, but we gotta get rid of it!" Donald said.
Opposite Armor attacks the group with its new feet by charging, but Goofy uses Tornado, striking the hands and feet while Kirby multi jumps and delivers a multi spinning kick at the hands and feet as well while Twilight casts Blaze and burns the body. Opposite Armor spins its new hands in its windmill fashion to attack, but Donald casts Thunder while Arthur throws his shield while Amity summons an Abomination hand to deliver an uppercut, but Opposite Armor sends its hands and feet to attack the group. Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade and then casts Blizzard while Sora casts Fire at the hands, but Opposite Armor delivers its flipping attack with its feet, getting the group, but Kibou, Sora, Donald, and Twilight cast Cure. Twilight and Amity work together, as Twilight fires her magenta flame while Amity shoots her pink flame at the hands and feet while Goofy uses Tornado at the torso, as well as the hands and feet, but Opposite Armor forms itself into its cannon form and fires energy balls, but Arthur blocks with his shield and then delivers a huge slash with his sword while Donald casts Fire while Kirby uses Final Cutter. Opposite Armor spins its hands in its windmill fashion again, only for Sora and Kibou to slash at the hands and feet and they destroy them all.
"Ha! In your face, stupid Heartless!" Kibou taunted, but Opposite Armor uses its torso to fire an energy ball.
"Kibou!" Sora cried.
Kibou's Gemblade glows and the green heart transforms into a Faerie with green hair, leaf shaped wings, wearing a green and brown tree like dress, branches on her arms, and a leaf crown.
"Another Faerie?" Kibou asked.
"So, you summoned me? Thank you. I am Naturae, the Faerie of Nature. Allow me to handle this." Naturae said, unleashing vines from the ground, as they grab hold of Opposite Armor and slams it down and then unleashes rocks and rains them down at the Heartless, damaging it.
"That was awesome. Thanks." Kibou said.
"Call me again anytime." Naturae said, disappearing into the Gemblade.
Opposite Armor tries to fire another energy ball at the group, but Goofy uses Rocket while Arthur uses Cyclone Slash while Kirby uses Hammer Wheel while Amity uses her Abomination to deliver a hammer fist strike while Donald casts Blizzard while Twilight unleashes two magic bombs while Sora slashes with his Keyblade while Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade and they finish off Opposite Armor, who shakes and its helmet falls into its torso, as a giant heart flies out, making it disappear.
"Whew, that was ANNOYING." Kibou said and he and Sora get a new spell, Aero.
"Now's your chance, Sora." Amity said.
"Yeah." Sora said, using his Keyblade to lock the Keyhole, making it disappear.
Just then, another heart appears and it's a silver heart.
"Another Faerie Heart." Kibou said, as the silver heart flies into the Gemblade.
"Hey, look." Arthur said, seeing another Gummi block.
"That must be another Navigation Gummi." Goofy said.
"Let's give this to Cid. He said he's at the First District with his job." Twilight said.
The group head for the First District and they find Cid.
"Hey now, that was quick!" Cid said.
"We sealed this town's Keyhole." Sora said.
"And got a new Faerie Heart." Kibou said.
"Great! I'll tell Leon. So, now you know, I'm in the Gummi business. Workin' on your ship was great." Cid said.
"Hey, we found another Navigation Gummi." Sora said.
"Perfect, I'll get it installed." Cid said, but takes a look. "Actually, this one comes in sets. You gotta find the one that mates with this one." Cid said.
"Guess we'll find it as we keep going." Kibou said.
"Well, there's nothing left to do here. Let's go." Donald said.
The group start to move, but then, Kibou turns around to see Silver Knight on a roof.
"Him again...!" Kibou said, remembering Silver Knight.
"Kibou, what's up?" Sora asked.
"Nothin'. You guys go on ahead. I'll keep up." Kibou said.
"Huh?" Twilight asked.
"What's going on?" Arthur asked.
Kibou sees Silver Knight going from roof to roof.
"Is he heading for the Fountain Plaza?" Kibou asked, following Silver Knight.
(Fountain Plaza)
Kibou later arrives at the Fountain Plaza to find Silver Knight.
"Where is he?" Kibou asked, looking around.
"Over here." A voice said, making Kibou turn to see Silver Knight.
"Okay, you big jerk, what did you mean about Celica being gone, Tsubaki being a different person, and Eliot not being around?" Kibou asked.
"Exactly what I said, idiot. The Tsubaki you know will be gone forever, Celica's gonna get snuffed out, and Eliot will be gone." Silver Knight said.
"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" Kibou yelled.
"Stupid or true?" Silver Knight, as he takes out what looks like a red and black gem, which transforms into a zweihander with the blade being pure black with the tip having a dragon head while the hilt is red with black dragon wings on both sides and at the end of the hilt is a chain that a crescent moon symbol.
"A...Gemblade...?" Kibou asked shocked, but takes out his Gemblade.
"Good, let's see what you've got." Silver Knight said.
(Boss Theme: Wings of Despair)
Silver Knight delivers a double heavy swing with his Gemblade at Kibou, who dodges out of the way and then tries to attack with his Gemblade, only for Silver Knight to effortlessly dodge and delivers a heavy swing with his Gemblade at Kibou, causing great damage and sends him down. Kibou gets back up and vertical slashes with his Gemblade and tries to get at Silver Knight, who disappears in black mist and then reappears behind Kibou and delivers a triple vertical slash with his Gemblade followed by unleashing a black fireball from his hand and it gets Kibou, burning him. Kibou recovers and casts Blaze to try and get Silver Knight, who creates a dark wall for protection and then unleashes energy chains from the ground to get Kibou, who tries to break free, but Silver Knight delivers a heavy swing with his Gemblade, casuing massive damage on Kibou, who cries and falls back to the ground while his Gemblade is on the ground beside him.
"That really all you got? Man, you ARE worthless. I'd be goin' against the Doc's orders, but who cares. Don't worry, your time in this life is over." Silver Knight said, creating a black fireball in his hand and prepares to fire it at Kibou, but a magic barrier appears, protecting Kibou.
"What...?" Kibou asked.
"Kibou! Thank Celestia you're okay!" Twilight said, arriving and with her are Arthur, Amity, and Kirby.
"Good. We made it just in time." Amity said.
"Heal!" Twilight yelled, casting Cure on Kibou, healing his injuries.
"Well, if it isn't Kibou's pet pony, a cowardly brat, a pathetic witchling, and a stupid pink meatball." Silver Knight said and they turn to him angry.
"That's..." Arthur stops talking.
"A Gemblade!" Amity said.
"Where did you get that?! Gemblades aren't something you use just to bully somebody!" Twilight yelled.
"Now you're dealing with us!" Amity yelled.
"Hahahaha! I don't think so!" Silver Knight said, disappearing in dark mist and reappears to Kibou and grabs him by his throat. "C'mon, get up! You're supposed to be a Gemblade master, right?" Silver Knight asked.
"Let...me go!" Kibou yelled, as he tries to slash at Silver Knight, who blocks the attack and delivers a powerful kick at Kibou.
Twilight fires magical blasts at Silver Knight, who easily deflects them, but Amity uses her Abomination to strike at Silver Knight, who effortlessly destroys it and then unleashes more chains around Kibou, trapping him and then slashes with his Gemblade, severely injuring Kibou.
"So, where should I cut? Your neck? No, that's too easy. Maybe your chest and limbs? I know, how 'bout ALL of 'em?!" Silver Knight asked, but Arthur gets behind and slashes at the masked boy with his sword.
Silver Knight easily blocks the sword attack and they lock weapons, but Kirby gets behind and delivers a big swing with his hammer, sending Silver Knight to Twilight, who levitates him.
"Let go of me, you horned vermin!" Silver Knight yelled.
"Sure!" Twilight said, slamming Silver Knight to the ground and throws him at Amity, who summons an Abomination hand and grabs the masked boy.
"My turn!" Amity said, using her Abomination to crush the masked boy, who disappears in darkness.
Silver Knight reappears and unleashes dark spikes to get Twilight and Amity, who dodge, as Kirby swings his hammer while Arthur tries to attack with his sword, only for Silver Knight to swing his Gemblade to get the two away.
"You idiots are irritating me! I'll kill Kibou, then you!" Silver Knight yelled, but then, something attacks, but he dodges and it's the Keyblade. "What?!" Silver Knight asked, as he sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy arriving.
"Get away from Kibou now!" Sora yelled.
"Damn, the Key brat's here! Whatever, I'll just kill Kibou another time, without being interfered by his annoying friends and Pretty boy. Tell Kibou two things; first, he's on probation and second, to put up a more decent fight next time." Silver Knight said, disappearing in darkness.
"What's his problem?" Donald asked.
"Dunno, but we gotta get Kibou and get back to the ship." Twilight said.
"Right. Let's go." Sora said, picking up Kibou.
"Just who was that and why did he try to hurt Kibou so badly?" Goofy asked.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him." Arthur said.
The group make their way out of the Fountain Plaza and return to the First District and head back to the Gummi ship.
There's Chapter 9, and it's not as long as the last chapter, but hey, it's not rushed, so it's still all good. Let me know what you think.
