Chapter 12: Liberating Winter Tundra
In what looks like a tundra with some snow around, Elora, Hunter, and the Professor are working on what looks like another portal and on the portal is what looks like a red crystal while the Professor is working on the portal.
"Do you think it's working, Professor?" Elora asked.
"With the Power Crystal activating it and if my calculations are correct, the portal should be working again and I'll be able to return Spyro back to his world." The Professor said.
"And with Ripto out of the way, nothing can go wrong this time." Hunter said.
Just then, a bomb rolls to the three and then the bomb goes off, exploding, knocking the three back while the Power Crystal drops on the ground.
"What was that?" The Professor asked.
"Hahahahaha!" A voice laughed and they see Ripto, who is carrying another bomb. "So, you thought you got rid of me? Well, I'm afraid not! I'm still around and I even persuaded that fat bear Moneybags to sell me a few bombs!" Ripto said.
"Quick, get the Power Crystal!" Elora said.
"Don't even think about it, Bookworm! One move and you'll end up being the world's smartest pile of ashes!" Ripto said, going for the Power Crystal and takes it. "THIS will make an excellent scepter for me!" Ripto said.
"Hunter, do something!" Elora said.
"Uh, hey! Give that back!" Hunter said, but Ripto gets away while Elora and the Professor glare at the cheetah. "What? I tried." Hunter said.
"Hahahaha! You fools! With this Power Crystal, not only will I destroy you, but I'll finally take Avalar for good and if that's not enough, I'll have the Heartless cause even more havoc!" Ripto said, going for the tundra's castle while Ripto banners hang on the castle's walls.
"Oh, this is bad!" Elora said.
Later, Kibou, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Arthur, Amity, Kirby, and Spyro arrive at the tundra and they find Elora.
"Elora, what's wrong?" Kibou asked.
"Guys, we have bad news. Ripto's still alive and he just took over Winter Tundra's castle!" Elora said.
"That's terrible!" Donald said.
"Well, we gotta do something about it." Sora said.
"I'm afraid it's even worse, he's sent the Heartless to Winter Tundra's worlds and they're causing more trouble." Elora said.
"We can't just ignore the Heartless." Twilight said.
"Why don't we take care of them first and then deal with Ripto?" Spyro suggested.
"Good idea." Kibou said.
"Be careful, guys. Avalar's counting on you." Elora said.
"Just leave this to us, Elora." Sora said.
(Winter Tundra)
(Field Theme: Winter Tundra)
The group begin moving through Winter Tundra to find portals leading to different worlds and they later come across a portal that says 'Mystic Marsh' and so they decide to go to that portal first.
(Mystic Marsh-Marsh Grounds)
(Field Theme: Mystic Marsh)
The group arrive at what looks like a marsh and they find many Beautiful Nightshade Heartless attacking marsh moth creatures.
"More Heartless around!" Arthur said.
"You know what to do!" Kibou said.
The group confront the Beautiful Nightshade Heartless, as they fly around and unleash sleeping cloud to try and get the group to sleep, only for Kibou to triple slash with his Gemblade followed by a vertical slash and then delivers a roundhouse slash while Sora delivers four slashes with his Keyblade followed by a diagonal slash and then casts Earth. The Beautiful Nightshades unleash poison waves to try and poison the group, but Spyro breathes fire while Twilight casts Blaze followed by casting her magenta lightning while Kirby inhales a Beautiful Nightshade, becoming Beautiful Nightshade Kirby and unleashes poison waves with his wings, only for the Beautiful Nightshades to retaliate with sleep powder. Amity summons two Abomination hands and uses them to crush the Heartless while Goofy uses Charge, but the Beautiful Nightshades fly around and drop down poison globs at the group, only for Arthur to use Sky Dance and aerial slashes while Donald casts Thunder, but the Beautiful Nightshades keep flying to spread sleeping cloud, but Kibou slashes with his Gemblade followed by using Naturae's magic to unleash vines and tree branches while Sora delivers slashes with his Keyblade and they defeat the Heartless.
"Thank you! Those awful things have shut down our fountain. Without it, this marsh will dry and wither." The Mothman said.
"Then we should find a way to turn the fountain back on." Spyro said.
The group continue moving through the marsh to find its fountain while fighting off many Heartless in their way and they find what looks like a pool of water and go into it and they start swimming through the water while going through the water's tunnel and they reach the surface and arrive at a different area.
(Mystic Marsh-Treetops)
The group reach for the marsh's treetops, where they find Powerwilds and Bouncywilds and the Powerwilds multi punch at the group, only for Goofy to block the attack with his shield and then bashes with it while Arthur triple slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash. The Bouncywilds use their slingshots to fire shots at the group, but Kirby inhales a Bounywild, becoming Bouncywild Kirby and uses his slingshot to fire shots while Amity shoots three pink fireballs while Spyro uses Horn Charge, only for the Powerwilds to slide attack. Donald casts Fire followed by casting Earth while Twilight shoots three magic beams from her horn and then casts Blizzard, but the Bouncywilds drop banana peels, but Sora casts Fire while Kibou casts Thunder and they defeat the Heartless and continue. The group keep moving through the marsh's treetops while crossing wooden bridges and fighting off more Heartless and later, they find what looks like a fountain with no water and so they hurry to reach it.
(Mystic Marsh-Fountain Grounds)
The group reach for the marsh's fountain grounds to find more Powerwilds, as well as a sleeping Mothman and so the group confront the Heartless and Kibou delivers four slashes with his Gemblade followed by a vertical slash and then uses Confusia's chaos magic to unleash chaos pillars while Sora horizontal slashes with his Keyblade followed by a leaping slash. The Powerwilds retaliate with jumping in the air and multi air punch, only for Twilight to use Telekinesis to hold the Heartless and slams them to the ground while Amity uses her Abomination to create two hammers and swings them to strike, but the Powerwilds slide kick and then multi punch to attack, only for Goofy to throw his shield at the Heartless. The Powerwilds multi punch to attack the group, only for Arthur to use Parry and counters to strike back while Kirby multi punches followed by a big swing with his hammer while Donald casts Thunder followed by casting Blizzard, but the Powerwilds jump and multi punch in the air to attack, only for Spyro to breathe fire while Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade followed by an aerial spinning slash while Kibou casts Earth and they defeat the Heartless.
After the fight, the Mothman wakes up, making the fountain make water again.
"Oh, what? The monsters are gone? So sorry, I was tired from guarding the fountain and I guess I dozed off and that's when those creatures appeared." The Mothman said.
"Ugh, I'd say that was a waste of time, but at least the Heartless aren't around here anymore." Amity said.
"Well, I guess we're done here. Let's get outta here." Sora said, as they use the portal to leave Mystic Marsh.
The group return to Winter Tundra and they look for the next portal, but it's inactive and they find Moneybags.
"Ahh, my good friends. This portal seems to be inactive, but I can turn it back on for a small markup." Moneybags said.
"And how much would that 'markup' be?" Donald asked.
"Let's say, 1,000 gems." Moneybags said.
"Ugh, fine. Whatever!" Spyro said, giving 1,000 gems and the portal that says 'Cloud Temples' activates.
"Many thanks, Spyro! Well, best of luck stopping Ripto!" Moneybags said.
The group go for the portal to enter Cloud Temples.
(Cloud Temples-Temple Entrance)
(Field Theme: Cloud Temples)
The group arrive at what looks like a temple in the sky with different structures.
"Cool, another awesome temple to look around." Kibou said.
"We need to find the Heartless before things get worse." Arthur said.
"Too late." A voice said and they see Meta Knight flying to them.
"You again?" Twilight asked.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"The Heartless have already caused havoc here and they have stolen this world's wands and have brought them to me. Without them, the inhabitants' magic is worthless and they are weak as a result." Meta Knight said.
"Hand them over!" Amity demanded.
"You will have to catch me first if you wish to have the wands back." Meta Knight said, flying away.
"Ugh, here we go again!" Sora said.
"After him!" Donald said.
The group chase after Meta Knight, who keeps flying away and later, they go to the next part of the temple.
(Cloud Temples-Temple Garden)
The group keep chasing after Meta Knight through the temples' garden, but as they chase Meta Knight, many Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, and Yellow Operas appear and attack the group, only for Kibou to attack with his Gemblade while Sora attacks with his Keyblade while Twilight unleashes magic orbs while Donald casts Earth while Goofy uses Tornado while Arthur uses Sword Spin while Amity uses her Abomination while Kirby swings his hammer while Spyro uses Horn Charge and they defeat the Heartless in their way. The group continue chasing Meta Knight, who unleashes slash streaks from his sword, but they dodge and they keep chasing after the masked knight through the garden until Meta Knight goes into the temples and so the group chase into the temple as well.
(Cloud Temples-Temple Interior)
The group are inside the temples and they keep chasing after Meta Knight, who still unleashes slash streaks at the group, who dodge and continue to chase, but then, more Heartless, such as Air Soldiers and Large Bodies appear and attack the group, only for Kibou and Sora to fight them off and they find Meta Knight flying for the temples' higher rooms. The group make their way to reach the higher rooms of the temples to try and get to Meta Knight, who still attacks to keep the group away while more Heartless try to slow them down, but the group continue chasing after Meta Knight and they come across a bridge, which leads to the outside of the temples.
(Cloud Temples-Temple Crest)
The group are back outside the temples and are at high point and they find Meta Knight flying across the temples' crest, so they go after him across the crest, only for more Air Soldiers to appear and attack, only for Kibou to cast Thunder while Sora casts Fire while Donald casts Earth while Twilight shoots magic bolts while Goofy uses Rocket while Arthur throws his shield while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Kirby uses Stone while Spyro breathes fire and they defeat more Heartless. They keep chasing Meta Knight, who sends out more slash streaks to get the group, who avoid the attack and they find Meta Knight heading for the lower part of the temple grounds and so they head down to find the masked knight stopping and they confront him.
"Nowhere to go!" Spyro said.
"Give up those wands!" Sora yelled.
"To have chased me all the way here is impressive. While you were dealing with the Heartless, I already have returned the wands to the wizards. It's not like they're worth anything anyway. Now then, I shall be off. If you believe you can stop Ripto, then you are deluded. You stand little chance, as he has the Power Crystal." Meta Knight said, disappearing.
"Who does he think he is?" Twilight asked.
"We can handle Ripto!" Sora said.
"And we're gonna prove him wrong! Least the wands were returned and there're no more Heartless. Let's move on." Kibou said, as they use the portal to leave Cloud Temples.
The group return to Winter Tundra and they begin looking for more portals and they head for the tundra's castle gate and enter the castle grounds.
(Winter Tundra-Castle Ground)
The group are now in the castle grounds and they later find another portal that says 'Robotica Farms' and they decide to go to that portal next.
(Robotica Farms-Harvesting Grounds)
(Field Theme: Robotica Farms)
The group are now in what looks like a farming ground, where robot farmers are harvesting.
"Gawrsh, a farmin' place." Goofy said.
"But look." Spyro said, as Soldier Heartless are attacking the farms.
"That's our cue." Kibou said, as they confront the Heartless.
The group confront the Soldiers, as well as Volt Vipers and the Soldiers attack with their claws while the Volt Vipers slither around while leaving behind electricity, but Kibou delivers four slashes with his Gemblade followed by using Naturae's magic to unleash trees and leaves to attack while Sora vertical slashes with his Keyblade followed by a leaping slash and then casts Earth while Spyro breathes fire. The Volt Vipers slither around while unleashing more electricity at the group, only for Kirby to inhale the lightning and becomes Plasma Kirby and unleashes electricity while Amity summons two Abomination hands, which transform into hammers and they slam at the Heartless, but the Soldiers deliver spinning kick attacks. Donald casts Aero to protect the group and then casts Blizzard while Arthur uses Sword Thrust, but the Volt Vipers deliver electric bites while the Soldiers leap kick to attack, only for Goofy to use Charge while Twilight unleashes magenta flames followed by casting Earth and they defeat the Heartless.
The group continue moving through the farms' harvesting grounds to find more Heartless and they find Air Soldiers attacking more robot farmers and so Kibou aerial slashes with his Gemblade while Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade while Donald casts Thunder while Twilight throws magic bombs while Goofy bashes with his shield while Arthur uses Sky Dance while Amity uses her Abomination to attack while Kirby uses Final Cutter while Spyro breathes fire. After defeating the Heartless, the group keep moving through the harvesting grounds and they come across a metallic bridge and cross it, taking them to a different part of the farms.
(Robotica Farms-Fields)
The group arrive at the fields of the farms and they see more Volt Vipers, as well as Large Bodies and the Heartless attack, only for Sora to deliver four slashes with his Keyblade while Kibou casts Blizzard and they defeat the Heartless and they continue moving through the fields, where they find Red Nocturnes and Yellow Operas and they begin attacking the group, who fight back and defeat the Heartless. The group find a metallic trail, taking them upward to a higher metallic bridge, where they find Beautiful Nightshades and Large Bodies, so they confront the Heartless, who attack, only for Kibou to vertical slash with his Gemblade followed by a roundhouse slash while Sora diagonal slashes with his Keyblade and then delivers a leaping slash while Spyro uses Horn Charge and they defeat more Heartless. After tracking and defeating Heartless around the farms, there are no more Heartless around attacking the farms.
"Looks like this place is clear of Heartless." Arthur said.
"Great, let's go see if another world needs help." Sora said, as they use the portal to leave Robotica Farms.
The group return to Winter Tundra and explore the castle grounds and they find another portal that says 'Metropolis' and they decide to go to that portal next.
(Metropolis-Downtown)
(Field Theme: Metropolis)
The group are now in what looks like a giant city with metallic buildings and robotic people.
"This city's really different." Kibou said.
"You're telling me." Sora said.
The group begin exploring the metallic city, only to find Volt Vipers and Yellow Operas and so Kibou delivers four slashes with his Gemblade followed by casting Blizzard and then delivers an upper slash with his Gemblade while Sora delivers two horizontal slashes with his Keyblade and then delivers a leaping slash while Spyro breathes fire. The Volt Vipers slither around while unleashing electricity while the Yellow Operas unleash lightning at the group, only for Goofy to use Rocket while Kirby inhales a Yellow Opera and becomes Yellow Opera Kirby and delivers a lightning surge attack, but the Yellow Operas unleash more lightning while the Volt Vipers deliver electric bites to attack the group. Donald casts Aero for protection and then casts Earth while Amity summons a giant Abomination fist to deliver an uppercut, but the Volt Vipers slither around while unleashing lightning attacks while the Yellow Operas deliver lightning surge attacks, but Arthur uses Sword Spin while Twilight casts Blaze followed by unleashing magic orbs and they defeat the Heartless.
The group continue exploring the downtown city to find more Heartless, which are Air Soldiers and Large Bodies and so Kibou slashes with his Gemblade while Sora slashes with his Keyblade while Donald casts Thunder while Twilight shoots magic beams while Goofy uses Charge while Arthur double slashes with his sword while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Kirby swings his hammer while Spyro uses Horn Charge and they defeat the Heartless and continue. While still moving through the downtown, the group come across a destroyed metallic bridge and so they manage to cross the metallic bridge and they go to a different area.
(Metropolis-Park)
The group arrive at Metropolis' park, where they find Soldiers and Red Nocturnes attacking more robot citizens, only for Kibou and Sora to attack with their weapons, defeating the Heartless and continue through the park, where they find more Heartless, which are more Air Soldiers and Powerwilds. The Heartless begin attacking the group, only for Kibou to use Confusia's chaos magic to rain down chaos energy while Sora casts Earth while Donald casts Blizzard while Goofy uses Tornado while Twilight throws magic bombs while Arthur throws his shield while Amity uses her Abomination to attack while Kirby uses Stone while Spyro breathes fire, defeating the Heartless. The group continue through the park and later, they find an exit and leave to return to the downtown.
As they return to the downtown, the group continue moving to find more Heartless and they come across a building and find a lift, which they use to take them down inside the building, where they find Large Bodies attacking more robot citizens, so the group fight off the Large Bodies, saving the robots and keep moving through the building and return outside. While back outside, the group come across Soldiers, Yellow Operas, and Volt Vipers and they attack more robot citizens, so the group confront the enemies, as the Soldiers attack with their claws while the Yellow Operas unleash lightning while the Volt Vipers slither and unleash electricity. Kibou diagonal slashes with his Gemblade while Sora delivers four slashes with his Keyblade while Donald casts Fire while Twilight casts Earth while Goofy bashes with his shield while Arthur double slashes with his sword while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Kirby swings his hammer while Spyro uses Horn Charge and they defeat the Heartless. After defeating many Heartless in Metropolis, the group search for anymore Heartless, but they don't find anymore.
"I guess that's all of them around here." Spyro said.
"In that case, let's go." Twilight said, as they go for the portal and leave Metropolis.
The group return to Winter Tundra and later, they find Elora.
"Great work, everyone! The worlds are safe from the Heartless! With them taken care of, now all that's left is Ripto himself." Elora said.
"Finally, now we can get rid of him!" Amity said.
"He's at the castle's courtyard right now. Hurry." Elora said.
"Don't worry, Elora! We'll make him wish he never came here!" Spyro said.
"Let's settle this!" Sora said and they nod.
The group hurry for the castle and go for the castle's doors and open them, taking them inside the castle.
(Winter Tundra-Castle Courtyard)
In Winter Tundra's castle courtyard, which has lava around the yard, Ripto is using his new scepter, which is the Power Crystal to fire magic shots at a group of sheep, who run away from the blast.
"Ugh! Get back here, you stupid animals!" Ripto yelled.
"Hey, Lizard Brain!" Kibou yelled, making Ripto turn to see the group arriving.
"What?! You again?!" Ripto asked.
"Yeah and we're here to stop you!" Donald said, taking out his staff.
"And if you wanna learn how to use magic with that scepter so bad, why not try us?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, I promise we'll stand still while you blast us!" Spyro said.
"I like that idea! You fools just sealed your fates!" Ripto said.
(Boss Theme: Squirming Evil)
Ripto uses his scepter to fire three magic bolts at the group, who dodge out of the way and Kibou delivers two diagonal slashes with his Gemblade followed by a roundhouse slash and then casts Blaze while Sora delivers two vertical slashes with his Keyblade followed by a leaping slash, but Ripto uses his magic to get the two boys away from him and then fires a magical blast to get the two. Twilight quickly creates a magical barrier to protect both Kibou and Sora and then unleashes two magenta lightning bolts, striking Ripto while Kirby delivers two swings with his hammer followed by a big slam attack, but Ripto conjures a magical barrier of his own and then unleashes multiple lightning bolts from the sky to get the group. The group dodge the lightning attacks and Amity summons her Abomination fist, which forms into a giant hammer and bashes at Ripto's barrier, shattering it and strikes him while Donald casts Blizzard while Spyro breathes fire to attack as well, but Ripto tries to fire three magic bolts at Spyro, only for Goofy to block the magic bolts and then uses Charge while Arthur uses Sword Thrust. Ripto casts another spell and unleashes a giant fireball to try and get the group, only for Kibou to get behind and slashes with his Gemblade and then uses Naturae's magic to conjure vines to attack while Sora triple slashes with his Keyblade and then casts Earth.
Ripto conjures another magical barrier for protection and then conjures three whirlwinds to send at the group, who dodge, but Ripto unleashes more lightning bolts from the sky to strike and strike at the group, who are dodging the lightning attacks. Donald casts Aero to protect the group while Twilight casts Shell to protect as well and both of them cast Thunder to get Ripto, who retaliates with firing two magical blasts from his scepter to try and fry the two magic users, only for Spyro to get behind and uses Horn Charge while Kirby uses Hammer Spin. Ripto uses his scpeter to create an ice field to try and freeze the two, only for Amity to fire three pink fireballs, getting Ripto while Arthur triple slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash, but Ripto gets away from the group and then conjures another giant fireball to strike at the group, who dodge and Goofy uses Tornado, striking the evil wizard, who strikes back with unleashing more whirlwinds to get the group, who dodge, but Ripto unleashes another ice field. Sora quickly casts Fire to stop Ripto from casting any more spells and then delivers four slashes with his Keyblade followed by an upper slash while Kibou delivers two horizontal slashes with his Gemblade and then spin slashes followed by casting Thunder.
"Argh! You're REALLY starting to irritate me!" Ripto yelled, using his scepter to conjure a giant magical shockwave at the group.
The group avoid the magical shockwave, only for Ripto to fire two fireballs and then unleashes more lightning bolts to try and strike the group, who avoid Ripto's magic attacks, but Ripto conjures a giant magic bomb and throws it at the group, who avoid it, but the magic bomb explodes. Twilight casts her barrier to protect the group from the magic explosion and then shoots magic bolts from her horn and then unleashes two magenta fireballs from her tome while Goofy bashes at Ripto with his shield, only for Ripto to retaliate with firing more magic bolts and then unleashes another magical shockwave to get the group, who avoid the shockwave, but Ripto creates more whirlwinds to send at the group. Kirby inhales one of the whirlwinds and becomes Tornado Kirby, who transforms himself into a tornado and delivers a spinning strike at Ripto sending him away to Spyro, who uses Horn Charge to strike, but Ripto conjures two magical bombs and throws them at the group, who avoid the magical explosion, but during the explosion, Ripto unleashes more fireballs. Donald casts Blizzard followed by casting Earth while Arthur uses Sword Spin, only for Ripto to unleash another magical barrier for protection and then unleashes two magical beams from his scepter, only for Amity to use her Abomination to deliver a hammer fist attack followed by creating a giant axe and delivers a powerful strike at Ripto, who retaliates with unleashing more lightning followed by conjuring his ice field. Kibou casts Blaze to stop Ripto's spells and then delivers vertical slashes with his Gemblade followed by a wide slash while Sora horizontal slashes with his Keyblade followed by a diagonal slash, but Ripto gets away from the group and fires another magical blast. The group avoid the blast and Spyro breathes fire while Kirby double swings with his hammer while Amity uses her Abomination fist to deliver a punch while Arthur triple slashes with his sword followed by throwing his shield while Twilight unleashes magic orbs and then unleashes magenta lightning while Goofy uses Tornado while Donald casts Fire while Sora triple slashes with his Keyblade while Kibou delivers four slashes with his Gemblade and they finish off Ripto.
After enough attacks, the group send Ripto back, as he drops the scepter and Ripto lands into the pool of lava and sinks into it and Kibou and Sora learn a new spell known as Gravity.
"So much for Ripto." Kibou said.
"Yep, Shorty's toast!" Spyro said.
"Looks like Avalar should be safe now." Arthur said.
"Let's..." Sora was cut off by a quake.
"Now what?" Donald asked.
Something rises from the lava and coming out is what looks like a giant Heartless that looks like a giant dark blue lizard with razor sharp teeth, yellow eyes, red horns, red flaming spikes on its back and tail, red flaming claws, and the Heartless symbol on its red underbelly and the Heartless roars.
"A Heartless?!" Amity asked.
"Oh, great! We just dealt with Ripto and now we gotta deal with THIS?" Spyro asked.
"We gotta stop it before destroys Avalar!" Goofy said, taking out his shield.
"Goofy's right! Let's do it!" Kibou said.
"Yeah!" Sora said.
(Boss Theme: Destiny's Force)
The Heartless known as Flarizard coats itself in black fiery aura and charges at the group, who dodge, only for the giant Heartless to keep charging while trying to burn the group, who still try to avoid the Heartless' fiery aura, only for Flarizard to rain down black fireballs at the group, who avoid the raining black fireballs. As Flarizard stops charging, the giant Heartless tries to deliver a fiery bite, only for Kibou to counter and aerial slashes with his Gemblade followed by casting Blizzard while Sora aerial slashes with his Keyblade followed by an aerial spinning slash, but Flarizard retaliates with slashing with its claws and then delivers a flaming tail strike. Twilight casts Shell to protect the group and then casts Earth followed by shooting magic bolts while Goofy uses Rocket to strike at Flarizard's head, only for the giant Heartless to shoot three black fireballs at the group, who avoid the black fireballs. Kirby inhales one of the black fireballs, becoming Fire Kirby and unleashes jets of flames to burn at the giant lizard Heartless, who retaliates with slashing at Kirby with its claws, only for Arthur to quickly block with his shield and then uses Sky Dance and aerial slashes the Heartless' head followed by a downward shield strike, but Flarizard delivers its fiery bite and then tries to attack with its flaming tail. Donald casts Aero for protection and then casts Blizzard while Amity uses her Abomination fist to create a hammer and delivers a giant bash while Spyro uses Horn Charge, but Flarizard shoots more black fireballs and then unleashes a giant roar and unleashes black fire pillars.
The group dodge the black fire pillars, only for Flarizard to coats itself in its black fiery aura again and tries to charge at the group to attack with the fire aura, only for the group to dodge both the Heartless and the black fire pillars, but Flarizard jumps into the air and tries to land on the group, who avoid the landing attack. As Flarizard lands on the ground, it unleashes black fiery shockwaves, which the group dodge and Goofy uses Tornado while Kirby multi jumps over Flarizard's head and uses Stone to crash it, making Flarizard angry and then tries to clap its claws together to attack. Spyro breathes fire to strike at the Heartless' head while Donald casts Thunder followed by casting Earth, but Flarizard slashes with its claws and then uses its flaming tail to strike at the group, who avoid the tail attack and Arthur delivers two vertical slashes with his sword followed by an upper slash, only for Flarizard to deliver a big fiery bite. Twilight throws a magic bomb into the Heartless' mouth, causing a magical explosion from the inside and dealing damage, which makes Flarizard even more angry, as it unleashes more black fire pillars and then rapidly slashes with its claws while leaving behind black fire trails, but Amity summons two Abominaton fists, as they form into axes and they slam together to strike at Flarizard, who jumps in the air again and tries to land on the group to unleash more black fire shockwaves. The group dodge the fire shockwaves, but Flarizard shoots more black fireballs and then cross slashes with its claws, only for Kibou to aerial slash with his Gemblade followed by an aerial roundhouse slash while Sora double vertical slashes with his Keyblade followed by casting Thunder, but Flarizard attacks with its flaming tail at the boys.
Before Flarizard attacks, Kibou's Gemblade glows, releasing the silver Faerie Heart, which transforms into another Faerie with silver crystalline hair, silver eyes, wearing a cyan dress made of crystals, and crystalline wings.
"Oh, so you're my new companion? Well, good to know. Call me Crystallia." Crystallia said.
"Can you help us?" Kibou asked.
"Watch me." Crystallia said, unleashing crystal spikes under Flarizard, dealing damage and making the Heartless roar in pain and then Crystallia conjures crystal chards and sends them to strike, dealing more damage. "There, that should do it. Call me again and I'll gladly help." Crystallia said, disappearing.
Flarizard unleashes a giant black fireball and then sends it to attack the group, who dodge, but the giant black fireball causes a giant black fiery explosion to deal some damage on the group, but Twilight and Donald cast Cure to heal everyone and Donald casts Gravity while Twilight unleashes four magic orbs and sends them to strike at the giant Heartless. Flarizard coats itself in its black fiery aura and then rushes to attack the group, who prepars themselves, but Flarizard disappears in black flames and appears above the group and attempts to land on them to unleash more black fire shockwaves, but the group dodge and Arthur uses Sword Thrust while Amity conjures a giant pink fireball and sends it to attack, but Flarizard roars and unleashes more black fire pillars and then rains down black fireballs to strike down at the group. Goofy throws his shield like a boomerang while Spyro delivers a horn diving strike at the Heartless' head, making it angry and slams its flaming tail to unleash more black flames, only for the group to dodge and Kirby uses Hammer Somersault, but Flarizard rapid slashes with its claws while leaving behind black fire trails and then delivers a giant fiery bite. Sora manages to counter against the biting attack with his aerial vertical slashes with his Keyblade followed by an aerial drilling slash and then casts Blizzard while Kibou delivers three vertical slashes with his Gemblade and then uses Confusia's magic to unleash chaos pillars to deal damage, but Flarizard unleashes more black fire pillars and then unleashes another giant black fireball and sends it to attack while creating a giant black fiery explosion, but the group dodge the attacks. Spyro breathes fire while Kirby double swings with his hammer while Amity uses her Abomination to deliver its shoulder charge attack while Arthur uses Sword Spin while Twilight casts Blizzard while Goofy uses Charge while Donald casts Earth while Sora delivers four slashes with his Keyblade while Kibou triple diagonal slashes with his Gemblade and they finish off Flarizard, who roars in pain.
Flarizard struggles its balance and as it unleashes a giant roar of pain, the giant Heartless falls to the ground, as a giant heart flies out of it while Flarizard disappears.
"Whew, that was kinda rough." Kibou said.
"Yeah, but we did it." Spyro said.
"Now Avalar should be safe." Goofy said, as Ripto's banners are gone and Winter Tundra is free.
The group leave the castle and meet with Elora, Hunter, and the Professor.
"You guys did it! You defeated Ripto and now Avalar is free from his evil." Elora said.
"About time he's dealt with." Donald said.
"And we also have this." Arthur said, taking out the Power Crystal.
"The Power Crystal! With it, we can use the portal to take you back home, Spyro." The Professor said.
"Hey, that's great." Spyro said.
"We all know how much you wanted to go to Dragon Shores and now you can." Elora said.
"Awesome! Hey, why don't you guys come with me? I think you could use a vacation too." Spyro said.
"We'd love to, but because of all the trouble Ripto and the Heartless caused, we'll be spending a lot of time cleaning up." Elora said.
"Oh, what about you guys? I think you deserve it." Spyro said.
"As mush as we love to, we have our own adventure to be dealing with." Sora said.
"Yeah, sorry." Kibou said.
"But maybe we'll see each other again sometime." Goofy said.
"Before you go, Spyro, here." Hunter said, giving out a bag of gems.
"Are those...?" Spyro stops talking.
"Moneybags feels bad for making you pay gems, so he decided to let you have them." Elora said.
"That was not my idea!" Moneybags said.
"Hunter!" Elora said, as Hunter tackles Moneybags.
The Professor uses the Power Crystal to power the portal and it's active.
"There now. Spyro, you can now go to Dragon Shores." The Professor said.
"Thanks, guys. Hope we'll see each other again." Spyro said, going for the portal and leaves.
"Now all that's left is..." Twilight was cut off as the Power Crystal reveals something on Winter Tundra's castle and it's another Keyhole.
"Sora!" Kibou said.
"Yeah!" Sora said, using his Keyblade to fire its beam of light to lock the Keyhole before it disappears.
Just then, an orange Faerie Heart appears and it flies for Kibou's Gemblade.
"Perfect. With everything settled, it's time to be going." Amity said.
"Yep." Donald said.
"Thank you all for what you've for Avalar. I hope you'll come back sometime." Elora said.
"Yeah, us too. Take care, Elora." Sora said.
"Yeah, see ya guys around." Kibou said, as they leave Winter Tundra.
Meanwhile in the dark chapel, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent watch the group in Avalar before the projection turns off.
"And so, Ripto has failed us. How unfortante." Dr. Facilier said.
"His lust for power was his downfall and he was too careless, as he steeped further into darkness. No matter, our plan is still moving forward as expected and it cannot be stopped now." Maleficent said.
"Yes and you've done well with your part, Meta Knight." Dr. Facilier said, as Meta Knight enters the chamber.
"It is my distinct pleasure. I shall continue watching the heroes' movements and see what else they are up to." Meta Knight said.
"Yes, continue your part. Now, Dr., we shall depart for Agrabah to check on Jafar's status." Maleficent said.
"Indeed, but first, I'll be going to my chamber to see how our...guest is doing." Dr. Facilier said, leaving the chapel.
Dr. Facilier arrives at another dark chamber full of masks and voodoo items all over and Facilier finds a boy with red hair, green eyes, wearing a yellow long-sleeve shirt with a green vest over it, green trousers, and brown boots chained against the walls.
"So, how's my guest doing today?" Dr. Facilier asked.
"Get out of my face, Facilier!" The boy yelled.
"Oh, my, such malice. I saved you when your world was gone." Dr. Facilier said.
"SAVED me?! You and those monsters killed everyone in my home! YOU took everything from me!" The boy yelled.
"But you're still alive, are you not? If not for and my Friends from the Other Side, you would have perished along with your world." Dr. Facilier said.
"Where's Eilonwy?! What have you done with her?!" The boy demanded.
"Your princess friend will be used to fulfill a great role along with the others and you too will serve a great role as well." Dr. Facilier said, as Neo-Shadow Heartless appear and one of them thrusts its claws into the boy's chest.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" The boy screamed, as the Neo-Shadow pulls its claw out of the boy's chest and in its claw is a glowing orb, which is the boy's heart, as the boy starts fading.
"Now then..." Dr. Facilier uses his magic to create a dark aura around the boy's heart and puts the dark covered heart into the boy's body. "Now, do it." Dr. Facilier ordered, as the Neo-Shadows proceed to enter the boy's body and later, the Neo-Shadows are in the boy's body. "Yes, yes. I think you'll be much better now, my boy!" Dr. Facilier said, smiling wickedly while his shadow also smiles wickedly, as the boy's eyes turn yellow.
There's Chapter 12, and now, I'm finally finished with with the heroes' time in Avalar and that means we'll be moving on once more. Let me know what you think.
