Jekyll is in the Chancellor's office explaining what just happened. Chancellor Gregory Mora was a slightly chubby middle aged man with a black goatee and a balding head.
"So this man came onto the campus and when you caught him he challenged you to a duel?" He asked to be sure.
"Yeah, I barely managed to win from some luck from his coin toss but when I won he used a smoke bomb or something to get away." Jekyll explained
"I see. Was there anything else of note about this event?" He asked.
"Well there is one thing but I'm not sure about it." Jekyll said.
"What is it?" The chancellor asked curious.
"It was weird, it was like I could actually feel the damage I took from the duel." Jekyll said which made the Chancellor's eyes widen.
"I see. Thank you for reporting this Mr. Giada, I'll look into it. You are dismissed" Chancellor Mora said.
Jekyll just nodded and left the room. The Chancellor then turned around to face the window and look out it with a stern face.
"So it begins once more." He said.
Back with Jekyll and Penny.
"So what do think was up with that Felix guy from earlier? I think I remember hearing him mention something about his boss. Who do you think it could be?" Jekyll asked.
"I'm not sure, that Grimm wasn't like anything I've ever seen. He seemed... human." Penny said since she would honestly have had trouble telling that man was related to the Grimm if it wasn't for that logo on his shirt giving him away.
"I wonder what they're up to..." Jekyll said.
At an unknown location...
In what appeared to be some sort of darkened lab, Felix is seen talking to someone.
"Sorry boss, I found that school you were talking about and I also found one of those huntresses that ended up getting dragged here, but she already found some duelist to help her. The punk wasn't half bad either." He said as the figure he was talking to turned around to face him.
The figure had a black coat with red accents, black pants, black shoes, black gauntlets with a red trim and the inside of his coat was red. He had pitch black hair and his face was hidden by a black mask which resembled a dragon, the eyes and inside of the mask's mouth were red.
"I see." He said with a distorted voice. "It is of no matter, one duel does not win the war."
Felix breathed a sigh of relief when a voice spoke up.
"Lord Draven," a woman suddenly appeared. she had medium length straight dark hair with a few bangs covering her face, she also had blue eyes and pale skin. She was wearing something similar to a blue business shirt and a black coat with dark business pants. She also had a feather like scarf. "let me have the honor of taking out one of the huntsman and huntresses since it seems Felix has failed."
"Brenna." Felix growled.
"There is no need for that." The now named Draven said. "I have already sent someone else after one of the huntsmen."
Back in Delta city
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" The blonde chibi and the young man finally stop screaming.
"What are you?!" The young man screamed.
"You can see me?!" The chibi asked.
"Of course I can, I doubt it would be that hard to notice a real live chibi." The man said.
"Oh, well it's just that no one I've met has been able to see me, you're the first person that could see me." The chibi said.
"Ok that explains why you're surpri- no, wait, my question first. Who and what are you?" The young man said.
"Oh right, listen my name's Jaune and I know I don't look like it, especially right now, but I'm a Huntsman in training but I need you to help me find the nearest Huntsman or Huntress to get their help!" Jaune said.
"Why would you need help from someone who hunts animals?" The young man asked confused.
"What?" Jaune asked.
"Also no offense but aren't you a little young to learn how to kill animals?" The man continued.
"You've never heard of huntsman or huntresses before?" Jaune asked flabbergasted.
"Pretty sure I have but we obviously have different definitions for hunters." the man continued.
"What about dust?" Jaune questioned.
"The dirty stuff on some old boxes I have?" The man said confused.
"Aura?"
"Sounds like something a hippie would know."
"Grimm?"
"Those guys who made those fairy tales?"
Jaune just stood there processing what he just heard. He was stuck somewhere where most people couldn't see him, he was a chibi, most of the things he knew weren't a thing here and he was separated from his friends. So he did the one thing that came natural. Scream and run around.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Jaune screamed as he ran around in circles.
He was cut off by the young man sticking his foot out and tripping him.
"Focus!" The man yelled. "Ok you said you were separated from your friends?" He asked.
Getting up, Jaune spoke. "Yeah, I know this is gonna sound crazy but-"
"You're from another world?" The man asked as Jaune's jaw dropped.
"How?" He asked.
"Let's see, you're a real live chibi which is not something normal and you talk about things that obviously have different meanings than what they actually mean here. The only possible explanations are either you're a crazy toddler, this is some elaborate prank, or you're from another world." The man explained his reasoning.
Jaune raised his finger, only to put it back down when he couldn't think of a good way to refute that.
"Ok, I'll help you find your friends." The man said.
"Really?!" Jaune said surprised.
"Sure, I know how I would feel if I got separated by my friends. Besides I may have just gotten into town but I don't have anything to do for a while anyways." The man said.
"Thank you so much!" Jaune said.
"No problem, oh and by the way my name is Alex Steel." Alex introduced himself. "What do your friends look like?"
"Well..." Jaune started talking although Alex noticed something for a moment and went to pick it up. What he found were two cards with Jaune on them.
"Heroic Huntsman...?" He mumbled to himself.
"Um, are you listening?" Jaune asked, snapping Alex out of it.
"Hm? Oh, yeah sorry, something caught my attention for a moment." Alex said.
"Well you have something else to focus on." A voice said from somewhere and out of nowhere a young man dropped down in front of them.
He had pale skin, short spiky red hair that was slicked backwards and he had two long black bangs that almost looked like antennae. He had a black shirt with a white jacket, and on the back of the jacket were red markings that looked like insect wings. Be also had black pants white a white trim and white tennis shoes.
"Who are you?" Alex asked.
"You can call me Lance. Now if you would kindly move side I need to bring that tiny knight somewhere." Lance said as he moved towards Jaune.
"I don't know who you are but it's obvious you aren't a friend." Jaune said as he pulled out a tiny Crocea Mors.
"And what are you gonna do if am an enemy?" Lance asked.
Jaune charged at lance with his weapon ready...
Only to be slapped away like an annoying fly and slam into a wall.
Alex and Lance just sweat drop. 'That was anti-climactic.' They thought.
"Well now that whatever that was is done. Time to grab what I came here for." He said as he reached out to grab Jaune.
"Stop!" Alex said as he moved to stop him.
However before he could reach him a barrier formed around Jaune and stopped Lance from grabbing him as well as burning his hand.
"AAAH!" Lance cried out in pain. "What the?!" He exclaimed. He then noticed that Alex was still holding the cards he found.
"So I guess I'll have to fight for it." Lance said, immediately putting Jaune and Alex on edge.
But to their surprise Lance pulled out a duel disk. Alex immediately smirked and pulled out his own.
"What are those?" Jaune asked.
"You'll see." Alex said.
"Let's Duel!" Both Alex and Lance said at the same time.

"I'll go first!" Alex said.
"I'll summon !" He said as a man in white and silver armor wielding some sort of spear appeared, he also had countless blades coming from his back as well as a few on his sides and knees.

Jaune had his jaw drop at what just happened, this man just summoned an actual warrior, right in front of his eyes, and all this was from a card game! Only one thought came to mind.
"This is the best game ever..." He muttered.
"With his effect I can discard one 'Heroic' card to summon one 'Heroic' monster from my deck. So I'll bring out Heroic Challenger - Extra sword!" He said as a man in a green and white armor appeared. He was holding two swords, one was what looked like a broadsword while the other looked the exact same but was half the size.

"Now I overlay the two Level 4 Monsters two Xyz Summon!" He said as the two warriors turned into brownish orange energy and flew into a galaxy like vortex that appeared on Alex's side of the field.
"Rank 4! Heroic Champion - Gandiva!"
Gandiva appeared through the vortex. Gandiva wore black and yellow armor with a helmet obscuring their face, their helmet had two yellow horns on the side. On their arm was a bow attach to their wrist. The was also riding a horse in reddish-orange and purple armor.

"And thanks to Extra Sword's effect they gain 1000 ATK!" Alex informed.

"Now I'll set 2 face-downs and end my turn." Alex said.

Alex hand: 1 VS Lance hand: 5+1
"My move." Lance said as he drew.
"First I'll summon Pinch Hopper!" He said as a giant green grass hopper with yellow markings appeared on his side of the field.

"A giant bug?" Alex questioned.
"I wouldn't take them lightly if I were you. While small, insects and arachnids are some of the most numerous species in the world and even some of the smallest bugs have the potential to be one of the most dangerous animals."
"Like anyone would be scared enough to be afraid of some holographic bugs." Alex shot back.
Meanwhile in Duel Academy
Jekyll, who was currently looking over his deck suddenly looked up from his cards.
"Are you okay?" Penny asked as she noticed this.
"I don't know why or how, but I feel like I'm being insulted." He said, confusing Penny.
Meanwhile at an unknown location
A chibi with pale skin, blue eyes, and white hair suddenly sneezed. "Why do I feel offended?" She asked to no one in particular.
Back to the Duel
"Then your a fool, Insects are especially dangerous in numbers. I activate Multiplication of Ants!" He said as he played a spell.

"With this by tributing my Pinch Hopper I can summon 2 Army Ant Tokens." Lance explained

"But that's not all, since he was sent to the Graveyard Pinch Hopper's effect activates and I can summon an Insect-type monster from my hand." Lance added.
"Say hello to Insect Queen!" He said as a new monster appeared on the field. It resembled a giant spider with a woman's face.

"And her effect let's her get 200 ATK for every Insect on the field."
Insect Queen: 2200 ATK + 200 ATK + 200 ATK + 200 ATK = 2800 ATK.
"Now I'll play 3 cards face down and end my turn." Lance said.

Alex LP: 4000 VS Lance LP: 4000
Alex hand: 1+1 VS Lance hand: 0
"I draw" Alex said.
"I'll attack with my Gandiva!" He announced.
"Not so fast!" Lance said as Gandiva was pulling the bow string. "I activate my trap Threatening Roar! With this, you can't declare an attack this turn."
Alex Grit his teeth and ended his turn.

Alex hand: 2 VS Lance hand: 0+1
"My turn." Lance said as he drew.
"First I'll activate Pot of Greed and draw 2 cards." He said.

"With this I declare one type of monster and all monsters on the field become that type, and I choose Insect-type." He said as Gandiva's armor suddenly began to morph and became more like a bug's exoskeleton. Their horse also became a large bug.
"And then I'll play my second face down, Ojama Trio!" He said as three small, odd humanoid monsters appeared on the field. The first one was yellow, had eyestalks like a snail, giant lips and an average body. The second one was black with a giant nose and a chubby body. The third one was green with a single eye, a wide toothy mouth and a somewhat buff body.

"Those are Ojama Tokens and thanks to DNA Surgery they become Insect-types as well." Lance said as the trio of of monster began to morph into bug like forms.
"Also, Because they're all Insect-type now Insect Queen get's a boost!" Lance reminded.
Insect Queen: 2800 ATK + 200 ATK + 200 ATK + 200 ATK + 200 ATK = 3600 ATK
"Now Insect Queen take out Gandiva!" Lance commanded as Insect Queen suddenly attacked one his Ant Tokens.
"What the-?!" Alex exclaimed.
Jaune nearly vomited at the disgusting sight of insect queen taking a bite out of one of her own allies.
"Oh yeah, In order to attack with Insect Queen I have to sacrifice a monster." Lance explained.
Insect Queen: 3600 ATK - 200 ATK = 3400 ATK
Insect Queen then attacked Gandiva.
Alex LP: 4000 - 300 = 3700 LP
"Thousand blades' effect activates and I can bring him back out form the grave." Alex said as Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades came back in attack mode [1300/1100].
"I end my turn. Also, since it's the end phase and Insect Queen destroyed your monster this turn, an Insect Monster Token is summoned to my side of the field in Attack Mode." Lance stated as Insect Queen laid an egg.

"I draw." Alex said before looking at his hand and having an idea.
"Hey Jaune help me deal with this creep." Alex said as he played a card.
"I summon JNPR Soul: Jaune Arc!" He said as Jaune reluctantly jumped onto the field.

"You sure this is a good idea?" He asked.
"Don't worry I know what I'm doing. Maybe...' He grumbled that last part under his breath.
"What was that?" Jaune asked.
"Nothing, although this may feel weird." Alex warned.
"Wait wha-" Jaune didn't finish as a vortex appeared on Alex's field and Jaune and Thousand Blades turned into streams of yellow and brownish orange energy and flew into the vortex.
"I Xyz summon, Rank 4 Heroic Huntsman - Jaune Arc!" He said as Jaune, in his normal body, appeared from the vortex with two orbs of light circling him.

"Wait a second." Jaune said as he realized something.
"That card, DNA Surgery, is still in place so won't that change my type to Insect type as well- why are you looking at me like that?" Jaune asked as he saw Alex with a slightly disturbed look on his face.
"No reason." He said.
"You sure?" Jaune asked.
"Trust me everything's good." Alex said.
"Right..." Jaune said slowly, blissfully unaware of the four spider-like legs that just sprouted from his back.
"Are we dueling or what?" Lance asked, getting impatient.
"I'm getting to that!" Alex shouted.
"I activate the spell Mystical Space Typhoon! With this I'll blow away your DNA Surgery." He said as wind started to come from the card he played and Lance's trap shattered and Jaune as well as the Ojama Tokens turned back to normal.
"Now, since all Non-Insect-type monsters are back to normal your Queen loses her ATK points." He added.
Insect Queen: 3600 ATK - 200 ATK - 200 ATK - 200 ATK - 200 ATK = 2800 ATK
"Now that he's back to being a Warrior-type I can equip him with Magnum Shield!" Alex declared as Jaune's shield changed into a red and yellow one.

Heroic Huntsman - Jaune Arc: 500 ATK + 3000 ATK = 3500 ATK
"Now I activate Jaune's special ability, by removing an Overlay Unit I can increase the ATK and DEF of all monsters on I control by 300 times the number of monsters on my side of the field." Alex informed which shocked Lance.

3000 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF = 4200 DEF

1000 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF + 300 DEF = 2200 DEF
"Now Ojama Tokens! Take out her Token Monsters!" He said as the the black Ojama Token head but her Army Ant and the green Ojama Token did the same to her Insect Monster Token.
Lance LP: 4000 - 800 - 1100 = 2100 LP
"And without them your Insect Queen loses more power." Alex reminded.
Insect Queen: 2800 ATK - 200 ATK - 200 ATK = 2400 ATK
"Now Jaune let's end this! Take out his Insect Queen once and for all!" He said and Jaune nodded.
Jaune charged at the and jumped into the air as he swung his sword at the monster, and with his 4700 ATK vs Insect Queen's 2400, he easily destroyed her and she shattered into pieces.

Duel Over
Winner: Alex Steel
Lance grit his teeth, knowing he'll have to report back to Draven about his failure. Alex walked towards him to try and get some answers but Lance was suddenly enveloped by a dark aura and disappeared.
"What was that?!" Alex asked alarmed.
"I don't know." Jaune said before being enveloped by a white glow and turning back to a chibi.
"By the way, earlier you said you don't have anything to do for a while. What did you come here to do anyways?" Jaune asked, hoping to change the subject to avoid freaking out about what the hell just happened.
Alex raised an eyebrow at the random questioned but shrugged it off. "I came into town try out for some early entrance exams for Duel Academy." He explained
"Duel Academy?" Jaune asked.
A/N: Thank you to reviewer ValkyrionTheMagna for reminding me I can't use tokens for Xyz summons. I fixed up the result and I hope there isn't anymore problems with it, if there is let me know and I'll check it and try to fix it.
